I have been coming to this donut spot for over a year and it's my go-to donut shop. I love a mom and pop shop donut they just taste better! This place is affordable and the people behind the counter are always sweet and kind to us. It's not modern looking inside but I don't mind because it's like time traveling back to when I was a kid. I enjoy visiting these small mom & pop donut shops! Been wanting to try Hole in One for a while now. Finally got the opportunity last week. They are located in a strip plaza where parking can be tight and cramped. I got there early before the other businesses in the plaza were open so parking was not an issue. The shop was cozy with several tables available to dine at. I bought two donuts to satisfy my sweet tooth. The Buttermilk Bar tasted a bit stale to me. Definitely not one of the better ones that I've eaten. Boston Creme donuts are my favorite kind of donut. Their version tasted fine. Good ratio of custard to donut. I also liked the fact that they sell both Scratcher and Lotto tickets here. So I was able to purchase my tickets! Unfortunately, I did not win. Still it was convenient to buy the tickets here. If i lived in the neighborhood or worked close by, then I'd be a regular. Services was good and the shop was clean. Those two factors are always a plus. read more

I came to this location to cash-in a $500 Californa Lottery Scratcher. The gentleman behind the counter told me that he did not have that much cash, but to come back in the afternoon. I came back in the afternoon, and the girl behind the counter told me that the guy isn't there, and she will not honor the payout. I told her I traveled a great distance to come back to this store for the guaranteed payout based upon what the gentleman told me. She said, "No, sorry." I will NEVER step foot in this establishment, again. I was lied to and they just don't give a damn. I wouldn't recommend this business based upon how I was treated. Me and my girlfriend frequent this place once a week because we like supporting small businesses, when we found this donut shop we had low expectations based on the other donut shops in the area, but just walking in they had a great array of donuts and other snacks, they also have lottery tickets and fruity boba. The owners are very friendly and on less busy days they'll give you a free donut with your order. Amazing place, I must visit in my opinion if you live in the area. This is a very bad donut shop!! Horrible customer service!! From the time I walked in the asian man behind the counter gave me a very dirty look... I should've walked out then. The owner has a very bad attitude and he is racist. I went in to buy a thai tea with boba and he explained to me that the small one is buy 1 get one free for $4... Ok... No problem.. I told him I may not want the 2nd one and that I will let him know once I tasted it. He tells me "oh no u can not taste unless u buy" which I had already paid. So I told him I know.. I'm gonna taste the one he was making for me and he tells me to "calm down" and continues to be rude and goes on to tell me that black people are difficult and we talk too much... How fuckin dare u??!! When he was the one talking to me like I came in there begging from him.. I asked for my money back..
