I have been stopping here a few times a week for the past month. Great and friendly service. Donuts are very fresh with a wide variety! Apple Fritters are excellent! Blueberry donuts are definitely a hit at work! I usually buy 2-3 dozen for work. I have also tried their Ham and Cheese croissants on several occasions, excellent. I used to frequent Top's when I worked close by. I recently returned to my old work site for a temporary assignment. First time here and quickly realized that since it's just across the street from a college, this place gets pretty crowded. I had the glazed donut and the wife had some old fashioned type maple thing, workers are super friendly and prompt. Downfall is at the time we were there we noticed the area just outside the shop was being taken over by Bees! The security guard on duty was trying his best to keep them out of the shop but he was battling a losing war. It's not the donuts shops fault, they were very apologetic and they were trying to work thru it exclaiming to us that pest control was on their way to solve this problem, security guard was letting us know that somewhere the bees have a hive and was hoping to get rid of it safely. Croissants! Was here mid-week as my mom had an appointment in the neighborhood. I like their breakfast croissants-- eggs, cheese, and bacon. My mom and had identical ones and they hit the spot. They even included some free donut holes in the bag which was nice too. I'm not much of a donut person these days so, I skipped getting one for myself. I forgot to take photos so, I somewhat recall my mom ordering a chocolate one. She was delighted with it and saved some for later. You can also get lottery tickets here as well as juice beverages and smoothies. The ladies at the counter were sweet. We were here after 10 in the morning so, their tables looked like it was a busy morning as they were empty and not cleaned off. Not quite, "top" tier but, A-OK. We ordered two custom dozen donuts for a baseball game. Marran was very helpful when we went in to place the order. There was a misunderstanding on my end, but she was very helpful in fixing the issue at hand. I will say that the price is very fair for a custom donut. $25 per dozen. VERY reasonable compared to what we had seen at other shops. The donuts here are VERY fresh and do not leave an oily taste in your mouth like most other shops. They have freshly pressed juices that are made to order for $7. Their ham and cheese croissant is pretty dang good. Just be careful the jalapeños are spicy. Would definitely recommend. It's easy to miss this place since it's tucked away in a strip mall on a busy street, but they serve up some delicious donuts. Ordered a dozen around 3 PM today and they still had a very fresh taste with a crisp, yet soft texture with no staleness. Haven't tried all of them yet(one can only eat so much lol), but the raspberry jelly donut is really good. Imagine how good the donuts are in the very early hours! From some pics that I've seen, I think they might also have some of fancy looking donuts(stuff that's Instagram worthy lol), but they might be seasonal or sold very early?? I went on a Saturday morning. There was a line to order and I was about to leave but noticed that it was moving pretty fast. They have 3-4 people working. They have two stations. It is my goal to try every donut shop within a 10 mile radius of my in-laws place, and Top Donuts fits the bill. Bought a dozen donuts for the family. My nieces said that they liked their choices. They rated the Glazed donut, Sprinkle donut, Maple Bar, and Blueberry donut 4 stars. My Custard filled Chocolate donut was good, but too small for the price. The other ones we tried were alright. There was no outstanding donut among the dozen we purchased. Just good solid donuts from a nice neighborhood shop. Service was excellent. Close enough to Downey for me to hit it up. The good reviews and perfect pictures on yelp helped me decide to try them. The jelly donut was exactly what I was imagining in my head all of this time. I also had donut holes (bomb) as well as a taste of a pink sprinkles cake type donut. All delicious and worth the short drive. For six donuts and a dozen donut holes I paid $6.50. This is located across the street from the home Depot in Cerritos. 1 dozen is $10 of the mix, half dozen is$5.75. as mentioned in other post that donuts are rich in dairy except for the old fashioned donuts which are rich and heavy which is not a bad thing if you are a coffee lover, but I'll be honest with you I have had much better old-fashioned chocolate donuts. There is a .50 cent charge on every credit card transaction which is holding me back from giving a 5-star review.
