I went to buy a simple bagel with cream cheese. To my surprise when I arrived to work to enjoy my breakfast. I couldn't even eat it. The bread looked old, moldy and dry. Very disappointing and it was high priced for the low quality. Service was ok that was the only plus to this stop. Never again. read more

The ladies were rude and said they were going to charge me extra for getting glazed & sugar donuts only. That seems ridiculous in my opinion. 6 sugar donuts & 6 glazed is that much of an issue? I've been coming here for years, mostly on early mornings to get a box of donuts for my coworkers. The old owners were always so nice and friendly and they had the best donuts. I believe they sold the business about a year ago. Everything has changed. Staff/owners are unfriendly and the quality has gone down. Today's experience will be my last at this establishment. I was met with the same unfriendly couple working the counter, I believe they are the owners. I was going for my usual box of donuts and started off with a separate ham and cheese croissant. The woman asked the man to warm up a ham and cheese and he asked her "old or new ones?" She replied "if I said to warm it up then you should know" and repeated herself in a very annoyed tone. She also told him to be careful because customers might know what they're up to. Well, I never ordered the box of donuts. Paid for my old ham and cheese croissant and left(fed it to the stray cats at work). She was absolutely right, I knew what they said to each other because we speak the same language. I love supporting small businesses and especially ones in my own community but I can't support poor customer service and bad practices. I wana note that I gave them a second chance. Customer service is a bit lacking... not too friendly but I like the donuts better than yum yum donuts which is the only other donut place near my house. Run-of-the-mill donut joint. Kinda small, kinda cluttered, nothing pretty about it. There is a faint suggestion of all purpose cleaner or detergent in the air, mixed with the scent of fried dough. The case looked clean enough for my standards, however, and I ordered up a couple of things along with some donut holes. A coffee and a hot chocolate for my kid prompted the lady behind the counter to ask if I wanted them mixed in the same cup. Cute, but then I realized she probably thought I was going to solo all those donuts I just bought. Haha, time to go on a diet, I guess. Neither memorable nor troublesome, this donut shop blends and fades into my brain's files of nondescript donut shops visited before my kid's swim meets. This place is the sheeeeeiz. I don't know what it is but their dough is a tad thicker than a typical donut so it lasts longer and is absolutely enjoyable. They have a wide spread of donuts, pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, soda, milk and juice. The staff is also friendly and generally gives me donut holes and freebies too if it's later in the day. I will say it's my favorite spot for a "typical" donut spot. read more

I work very early so i am used to donut shops giving me day old donuts (unfortunately). I came in today around 430 and was skeptic about how many donuts they had out and they didn't look fresh so i just asked if the regular glazed were from today and the lady acted confused by my question and rudely responded "we made all of them right now". Donut craving as I passed by, decided to try it I stopped by around 9 PM and as I walk in there's one male worker making fresh donuts, this is was a good sign that they make fresh donuts all day, and he calls to the woman in the back i think she was washing dishes. The woman comes to the front and greets me. Her English is not the best but she was very friendly. I had to tell her what I want and point a few times. I got the classics: a glazed and a chocolate frosted donut. She also tossed in a 3rd donut of sprinkled for free. The price is pretty standard of $1.20 for a donut. The donuts were good and fully satisfied my craving. The dough had a good texture and was definitely fresh. It was not stale and dry at all. Just wanted to say thank you for inviting me in so late at night. I also received 2 additional donut holes with my donut. Walking in, the scent reminded me of early mornings in my youth. Getting up to sell the daily news paper with my aunt. Luckily we had autombiles by the early to mid 90s. She would drop me off at banks and stores and I was lucky to have 50 cents by the end of my shift. Everything went to candy. Once in a while I would get a complimentary snickers. I don't know if I'll ever give a donut place one star. This place claims they're open 24 hours. They lock the door though, late at night. If the kid sees you, he'll let you in. Or his "assistant" who is a random man that appears to be homeless and sits in the corner will get his attention for you. I'd lock the door too, considering the shady locale. HOWEVER: DK you are not making it less shady!!! The kid that worked there FOLLOWED me outside, to my car and asked me if I had a boyfriend. Whoever the cashier was working 4/20/2020 around 4:30pm . WAS HORRIBLE!!!! I walk in shes on her cellphone having an argument with someone. I asked for a simple half dozen donuts easy enough. She talking to me and yelling at whoever she was on the phone at the same time. Im trying to pick the donuts that i wanted. Apparently she was hard of hearing or didn't care. 3 of the donuts she barely figured what I was telling her. When i pointed and said what i wanted she picked it up moved it aside and threw whatever she wanted in the box. I was seriously upset with the transaction. I really wanted to get donuts for sick father to help him cheer up especially since his normal shop is closed due to COVID 19. I paid for the donuts walked out highly disappointed. I bought few Donuts.... Very cold taste like they have made few days ago. I asked them 'Do you have restroom?' they said this place has no restroom!!! Very unpolitely you know what I mean. I said I understand that you guys don't share restroom to public but you must have a restroom for your own customers. They said for past 30 years they didn't have restroom. The cashier or worker is so very rude, an elderly woman. I ordered 1 donut water and banana muffin and was charge $5.25. First of all she gave me 2 donuts when I ordered 1. Then she told me .50 cents charge to use your card. I'm cool with that but they didn't have a sign to say that they charge .50 cents. I said to her they should put a sign and that's when she got rude with me and said you're the only one complaining and I said I'm not complaining I'm just saying you should let your customer know and she said "ok go" and didn't even give a receipt.
