Be careful when you pay.. first time I went my son wanted chips a $2 dollar bag was charged $4. My son wanted donuts this morning we got 1 small donut and a bag of donut holes. I should have asked for the price before. When she was charging she said .50 fee for card I said ok. She put $4 then changed it to $5 then ended up putting $6.50. And tapped my card before I can seethe final amount she put. Come to this donut shop frequently when I have training at the school nearby. And everything I've tried here has been good. I haven't actually tried a full donut though I have tried a donut hole and it was nice and soft. But I've tried different sandwiches here. Bagel ham sandwich was delicious. Takes a little while when they have multiple sandwich orders but they Jam Pack them with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and they give with pickles on the side. Any donut shop i can find that has a bear claw i consider them high scoring for reviews because i love them and not everyone has them. Grannys did not fail, they not only have bear claws but they are huge and delicious. The other thing i had was smoothies and the one i had was tastey. I had a chocolate cake/chocolate frosting with nuts donut. The frosting is why I am here. Whatever their recipe is for it, they should trademark it. It's the perfect amount of sweet and it is not that hard sort of chippy frosting. It's actual soft "spread on" frosting, or at least that's the texture. Yum! We did a quick TOOGOODTOGO pick up. Lady at the counter was really nice and friendly. She joked with my 13 year old son about being "too skinny" after I said he would eat half the box of donuts. Reality he would. And he did. And he's still skinny and eats all day long. Wish I had that metabolism. But I don't so am not as lucky as him and gotta stay away from the TooGoodToGo goodness. I had a problem with one of the ladies who I asked to toast my bagel and in stead of cutting it just toasted the whole thing. Then she had an attitude when I asked her how did she toasted it whole sooo damn! Also they use gloves for cleaning then they use the same gloves for serving coffee to customers. The department of health will be visiting this place since I've already alerted them. If they don't know what customer service means , they should definitely a class and learn how to conduct themselves professionally. read more

Came here early Sunday morning after church. We've been coming to a Granny's for YEARS. Today is probably our last. 1. Donuts were NOT fresh. Our donuts were hard and stale. Trust me, me and my boys know fresh donuts from day old donuts. 2. Customer service was really abrupt. Not rude or anything, but there was someone we never saw before working and she talked super fast. Told me there would be a 50¢ debit charge 1 second before swiping. I've never been charged before and most places will ask "Oh we charge .xx¢ is that okay?" Sometimes I like to check for cash first if that's the case but the girl just swiped it as soon as she said it. Where are the regular workers/owners? Me and my friends came in and bought smoothies and some donuts. I'm usually in the area and it reminds me of some local donut shops in Rosemead that can be hard to compare. We came in late, but the woman working gave us enough time to look and order. The banana smoothie was made with actual banana, instead of powder like some other shops use. It was amazing!
