This is to the nice young lady who was making the breakfast sandwich at around 8:30-9 am on Friday November 15 (I wish I knew your name but she's short and very nice) I ordered a croissant bacon breakfast sandwich with the hash browns on the side. She told me they were out of croissants and asked if an English muffin or donut would work. I was disappointed bc I really wanted it on a croissant but I agreed to a muffin. She clearly saw the disappointment on my face and promised me it would be delicious. I waited 5 minutes and and she came back very cheery and told me "I know it's not what you wanted but I made it with love! So hopefully it'll be good :)" and she was really smiley it was so sweet! I looked inside and saw sausage. My face must have dropped (bc I hate breakfast sausage) and I asked if this was sausage? She said yes sausage and bacon! I was mad bc I hate sausage but I was late so I kind of did a *sigh* "ok it's fine" and just rudely left. I turned around as I was walking out and I looked at her and could see she was hurt or concerned by my reaction but I was late so I left. I got to my car mad bc I really wanted this sandwich, it was not only the wrong bread but now I had to remove the sausage. But I looked at it and the sandwich was beautiful. I said to myself just try it, she said she made it with love. You gotta try it. So I tried it. And wow. I could taste the love! The sandwich was delicious. Like seriously, so good! I got over the sausage bc it was that good. I can't wait to go back and try it with just bacon and on a croissant. It was a 10/10 and it wasn't even what I wanted I can't imagine how good everything else is. I didn't even realize I never got my hash browns either lol the breakfast sandwich was eaten in less than 5 minutes, that's how fire it was!! And I'm so sorry to the nice girl who made my sandwich!! I cried in the car for being rude to you. LOL I hope you can forgive me and again the love in the sandwich made a huge difference bc it was DELICIOUS!!!!! I'll be back for sure. Donuts are average but what really annoys me is how cheap the boxes are. Paying over $30 for a dozen donuts and the box is too cheap to keep the product in place is not acceptable. Randy's is a SoCal institution that has expanded exponentially beyond their original location in recent years. It's perhaps not well known how donut obsessed Southern Californians are. Randy's has historically been one of the best in the business and certainly the most consistent. They experiment with a few new flavors on occasion, but their standbys are truly special. The texas glazed is the size of your head with all the sweet, sticky goodness you'd expect. Their long johns are soft cushions covered with a thick layer of chocolate or maple. I really like the butter crumb donut. The cherry cake donut is my wife's favorite. Ultimately you can't really go wrong, although I will say their raised donuts are better than the cake donuts in my humble opinion. They're well sized, affordable and fast. This drive-through donut place is the bomb! Their quality is great no matter which location I visit! They're even good one or two days later if you keep them in Ziploc bags. We got a dozen of the premium donuts for about $20. My friend enjoyed their coffee and they were willing to give us six sugars and creamers to go with it! My favorites are the Apple fritters, but I tried the lemon filled and that was pretty tasty! read more

Doughnuts and service are always great here. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because their boxes in which they give you your doughnuts SUCK! Yes I know it's silly that I'm reviewing their boxes lol. These boxes are so flimsy and weak, if you don't hold the box from the center it will sag. But if you hold it from the center is will sag from the sides. They need to come up with a better box, don't want to have an accident and have all the doughnuts fall out. read more

I'm sorry but it is not all that they are hyped up to be. Slow service, server gave me the wrong donuts but did not notice till I got home. The coffee tasted stale and it had coffee grounds in it, so it was the last of it. The server should automatically make a new pot and serve that instead of the old coffee. So it's my 2nd visit on Valentines Day, the donuts are good I'll definitely give them that, I never been to the original location though so can't compare between the two. The donuts are like a cross between Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme. I would have given a 5 stars but some of these employees need to have some customer service training, I've been left there at the glass counter without being acknowledged and then a customer comes behind me and employees asks HIM if he was ready to order, like if I was a ghost. On another visit , same thing a customer cut in front and employee doesn't even ask who's next just looks at the person closest and says "what would you like to order?" The donuts are good, but I am more of a mom and pop donut person. The icing is so thick, so if you have a sweet tooth, definitely stop by. They have fun specialty donuts and I recently got a combo order or regular and specialty donuts for a birthday display. The line can get long, but it moves quickly, and they are open late.
