Review #1016 2026-086…read more Donuts Order: Apple Twist $2.75 Blueberry Cake Donut $1.75 (comped) Boston Cream Donut $1.75 Cinnamon Roll $2.75 Croissant Donut $2.75 I was dining nearby for a YEE, & wanted to treat M to a donut for being my carpool. Cherri's Donuts was sitting around the corner so it was an easy stop before returning home. I picked a couple of favs: Apple Twist & Cinnamon, & they're huge! I also added Boston Cream Donut, Croissant Donut, & Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles, & the owner threw in a Blueberry Cake Donut. Whoohoo! When we got home, M's Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles was missing. I went through the bag to check the contents & found that I was charged correctly even though my son's pick wasn't in the bag. I saw that it was set aside but didn't make it in the bag. It was fine since we had several pounds worth from just 5. Even though it's late in the day, the donuts were fresh but not "hot off the fryer" fresh. It's debatable which was best: Apple Twist or Cinnamon Roll. The twist was fluffy & soft, with bits of cinnamony apple filling & a light sweet glaze for some added sugary goodness overload. The roll was a tad heavier, but still fluffy with cinnamon swirled through the pastry & topped with the same sweet glaze. M was sad that his pick was missing, & made do with a tasting of the Blueberry Cake Donut & Croissant Donut. He liked it, but still wanted his vanilla cake; he's haunted by the rainbow sprinkles. Like fellow Elite Vince V. parody sings... donuts the size of boulders... every day that I adore you! It's a bit of a drive, but if I'm in this neck of the woods... I'm walking right on over! Recommended: Everything ordered... I highly recommend the Apple Twist & Cinnamon Roll!

In driving out to the Coachella Valley desert towns from LAX, I made the habitual stop here. Not buying donuts for anyone on this visit, the stop was to satisfy my donut craving. I also had to use "a" restroom. They don't have one. I snuck into a nearby store I didn't patronize to do so. Thank God the code feature was not functioning at that time. On the outbound trip, I ordered a double chocolate, a strawberry frosted, and an orange frosted donut. I shouldn't have done that, but I love Cherri's Donuts's donuts. Those three donuts were lunch. In fact, I stopped in again on my way back to the Los Angeles area and got a strawberry frosted and an orange frosted donut. On this stop, they made for breakfast. I'm enamored of their orange frosted donut more so than anything else. With the social dynamics and related have-have not problems in SoCal, it seems businesses are guarding their restrooms more vigilantly ... or not providing restrooms at all. I also think that Cherri's Donuts probably serves a local clientele living within a 5 mile radius. They don't think that someone driving to and from LAX might make it a donut pit stop and also need to make a restroom stop. The employees here are reliably pleasant. There is also a small parking lot behind there store, so I used it instead of parking by the curb since I had luggage stored in the back of the vehicle. With the 605 and the 5 intersecting nearby, one needs to get into the correct lane for the Telegraph Road exit fairly quickly. However, for their donuts, you'll manage and you'll do it.

Here's the box, taped up for the eastward 2 hour car ride.

Strawberry Crunch- Highly enjoyable, topped with a slice of fresh strawberry, the Strawberry Crunch didn't feel as guilty as a double chocolate covered everything donut. The crumbs sprinkled on top providing texture to the fluffy donut, and I was quite happy with my pick. My initial visit was a 2 years ago. On my more recent occasion, I stopped by to see what's new. Knead closes at 1pm on weekdays (Monday closed, till 9pm Sat & Sun), and being approximately 30 minutes to close, two boxes of assorted donuts were left to choose from. Knead's Dubai Chocolate donut was a whopping $8! I tried to haggle the price down, both individually or with another donut, to no avail. No way was I planning to buy a whole box, either. Prices vary around $6-$8. Aware prices have gone up everywhere, that's still too much, in my summation, for donuts. In addition, not being a big donut guy, I don't foresee being a frequent customer. Knead Donuts does sell beautifully crafted donuts, which would satisfy even the most critical sugar junkie, but with premium pricing attached to each donut, can't justify the money spent, for my needs.

So funny with all the covid stuff going around you think people would stop handling their phones so much . Like I'm so irritated that this girl just assumed cuz she was on her watch that I...what ..?? Wasnt gonna notice the 15 minute long conversation you were having with your mom about losing your stimulus check at a party ???? Literally this is what she was talking into her watch about!!!! like I didnt notice or somthing !!!. the black girl was just leaning and staring at her watch as she made my frappe... like ok and the other people didnt seem to even wanna be there ...felt like a gloomy boring atmosphere... there wasnt one thing that stood out in my mind like wow ... I really like this place. .. if it was anymore akward in there I'd say it was haunted or somthing ... But back to the subject at hand ...I really don't appreciate my frood being touched by somebody that was touching their electronic device ,that was around their wrist,( obviously a watch goes everywhere with you) so I'm pretty sure that watch has been in the restroom with her multiple times..GROSS!!!!.. I asked her to change her gloves and she did but THEN started acting I'm only saying this because this isn't the 1st time I've come here and been bothered by something and seen no manager at all it's been like this for maybeweird after... Like I interrupted something important.... Get off the phone with your mom when you're at work no one cares that you lost your stimulus check!!! P.s where the hell was a manager ??? I see cameras but what's the point if theirs no one watching them... guess managers are to important to be in store helping ... MANAGING ... guess u guys dont wanna deal with your employees or be there either ... just micromanage from behind the phone or computer for yelp right ...eye roll... I say this because this is Not the 1st time this has happened within a couple weeks.... Get a manager in there ! read more

Secon time came here.... Not even too busy in drive-through.. I came to drive-through and Had the sweetest blonde hair girl help me she seemed to be alone until I saw some girl I don't even think she was wearing a mask she was African American with purple hair.... I sat there as my server took my drink order and made it... In the back all I can see is this girl on her watch talking into it ????at 1st I did not understand what she was doing until I saw her texting on!!!! Now my order wasn't too big but she could have helped she just stood there on her phone and on her watch like it's not enough you're texting on your phone but now you have a watch also?? I've been in customer service very long time and I don't think it's good to have your back turned towards guests especially if you are not too busy especially while being on your phone plain as day I can see from the window!! I took this picture hopefully you talk to her because it made me feel very sad for the girl in the window all alone I would not want to work with somebody so lazy and rude!!!!! I'm sure your place of business does not allow phones so why is she on it you should have a talk with her if you haven't already... On another note I did try that Apple fritter not as good as the bear claw.... But thanks for the suggestion hopefully next time I come in I don't see that girl on her phone instead may be shell be making drinks and doing her job... Thank you again to the blonde girl who made my drinks and served me my Apple fritter!!! read more

Randomly happened to be in the area and saw the BIG DONUT as we were driving by, not hard to miss (especially for a 3 year old). I had heard of Randy's donuts before but had never been. We had a little drive to where we were going, so it was the perfect pitstop before we hopped on the highway. I wouldn't normally write about a pitstop, but must say our experience was definitely noteworthy. Note to self, unless you plan on buying a dozen, do not take your children in! The variety was endless, so many options to chose from and we did. They were delicious, and delicious the next day and just as delicious the day after. We became instant customers for life. Oh and not to mention, the bathrooms were clean and well kept (important when you have little children) and the service was not only great, but very patient. We want to apologize to everyone behind us:) We look forward to our next visit, thank you Randy's! read more

With my babe in from NYC, the goal is to hit all the yummy spots in Cali and this was definitely on the list. I gave it four stars instead of five because the bear claw was stale. One of my classic favs and it was a disappointment. The fruity pebbles one was on point and was as good as it looked. The oreo cookie and churro we also stale but the Smore's was as good as I had hoped. The classic chocolate crowler was a little oily and the pink sprinkles one was surprisingly delicious.
