SHADY!!!! I had a MVA this wk CHP called for a tow being that I have AAA...Luis showed up, he immediately insisted that my car be taken to the tow yard I told him absolutely NOT he was to take it to the body shop as instructed I even confirmed the location and mileage with him....guess he decided to what he wanted...my car never showed up...he NEVER gave me any info for him or his tow company either...the next day my ins had to hunt down my car and Ramos towing gave some excuse that they tried to drop it off but the body shop declined it (lie)and they wanted the storage fees paid...after filing a complaint and my ins co. jumping through hoops my car finally showed up Friday at the body shop which they then tried to collect fees again and there was more damage to my car then what was from the accident not to mention you could tell that someone had been in my car due to the seats laid back with a half drank Gatorade bottle left on the passenger seat and the driver side floor board dirty and all the paper in my glove box fell out when I opened it. DO NOT trust them to pick up your car!!! They will take to the tow yard and keep it just to get ur money. read more

I received battery services from Victor Garcia twice within a month. His assistance helped me so much and I recommend Ramos Towing.

I believe he said his name was memo but he went above and beyond for my cousin and myself . She was put in a very shitty situation and could tell . He recommended places helped us get a quote to fix her car when most people try to take advantage of people . Thank you so much for all of your help . I would recommend to anyone read more

Horrible service from your end. I have triple AAA and they used you guys twice. Both times you guys came to the location and didn't bother giving me a courtesy call to let me know that you've arrived. I'm now waiting for my 3rd attempt. You guys are horrible. You need to Learn some better follow up if you want to better serve customers in emergency roadside assistance emergencies. Have a great night! NOT!!!!!! read more

Yes yes!! This guy waited for me to make calls to AAA. Was so nice and did an AMAZING job of towing my car that would not go into neutral! I forgot his name but he was tall and had a flatbed. So nice and the first person to be nice to me. The other tow guy wouldn't even wait 2 mins. So glad I went with Ramos towing. read more

I lost my keys and got locked out. Alex got to me within 10 minutes and was beyond helpful and understanding. He opened my car and I went in starting to look for the keys. As I was emotional and crying he gave me a couple minutes - which I greatly appreciated. When I could not find the keys he had the task of towing the car without the keys and the doors continually locking. Out of all the tow companies I have worked with and all the tow people, Alex dell from Ramos towing was beyond the best. I felt that he truly cared and took my feelings into consideration, not to mention he towed the car ho pretty qjickly. I would recommended Alex to ANYONE needing tow Service!! read more

Called AAA after someone stole my brothers truck from my house, rolled it down the street and abandoned it and it wouldn't start. AAA tell us 45min-1hr about an hour an 10 min later I get a call from Ramos Towing, they explained they had just got the call but could see the time stamp and were really sorry about the wait, quoted me 15 minutes and were there right on time. Driver let us know that they cancelled the call with AAA and would tow us on the house for the inconvenience, really considerate and nice of them since it was not their fault. We were being towed less than a mile, driver was able to back the truck onto the side of the driveway, less than 5 minutes and the whole thing was done. Was a wonderful end to what started as a tragic day! I highly recommend Ramos Towing, they were right on time, very courteous and quick! I'm only sorry I didn't get the drivers name so I could say thank you specifically. read more

Called in for a tow off the side of the freeway, & the woman (whose name I forgot) answered promptly & were very helpful. Arrived to my location with a sense of urgency and gave me a lot of useful information regarding my next steps. Eventually, ended up needing another tow farther away and they were the only company sincerely trying to help me get home. Thank you again! read more

Whenever I'm in need of towing and have to contact AAA, I always request Ramos Towing. For starters I'll get a text when they'll be on their way with an ACTUAL ETA, UNLIKE other companies may send a text just stating they're on their way. Also their drivers are clean cut, professional and very knowledgeable. They also take the time to talk to you about your situation and are very nice. They don't give you the impression like they just want to get you going and be on their way like experiences I've had with other towing companies. Plus Ramos customer service telephone people are great. They go above and beyond to help the customer with customer service needs. read more

I was pulled over on the 215 Freeway with a shredded tire on my Tahoe. I called AAA and they sent out Ramos Towing. A young man named Victor arrived pretty quickly, having called me to tell me he was on his way. He was polite, professional, upbeat, and most importantly really knew what he was doing. Had my tire changed and me on my way very quickly. Can't say enough good things about this fine young man who help us out of a bad situation. Thanks Victor, and thanks Ramos Towing!!! read more

The service here is above average and friendly. Nobody likes waiting for the tow guy to come and do his job while you just sit there watching your car get shocked back to life but Chris was a true professional and master of his trade throughout the whole experience. I was pleased when my vehicle was "jumped" back to life and I was able to reach my destination safely and promptly all thanks to Chris and the team down at Ramos towing. Much thanks and appreciation for your expertise! read more

Unbelievably awesome service! I don't write many reviews but this company is truly exceptional. They had a flatbed out to our stranded/unattended chipper within 20 mins. The driver let me know when he was on his way and even texted me pictures. The dispatcher I spoke to was very sweet and friendly and handled everything lightning fast. Could not have been more impressed with their level of service and communication. Thanks for taking a giant load of stress out of a stressful situation! read more

I got flat tire on the freeway near the 91 60 215 interchange. I changed the driver side tire on the right shoulder of the busy freeway but my spare was flat. I called for a tire inflation at 11:50am and the estimated wait was an hour. The dispatcher made it an urgent request because of where I was parked being hazardous, and luckily the driver arrived in less than 10 minutes. He put air in the spare, and I was driving within 3 minutes of his 50 minute early arrival. Put aside the object I ran over that demolished my tire and forget about my spare being flat and I'd say that situation couldn't have gone any easier or quicker. read more

Simply an incredible experience! I blew out a tire on the freeway and called AAA, who dispatched a driver from this company. AAA gave me an expected arrival time that was about 30 minutes from the time I called. I settled in for a boring wait, but was pleasantly surprised when the driver arrived in less than 5 minutes--he changed the tire equally as fast. I was home before the time that AAA had given me for the driver's arrival. Wow. I wish I had made a note of the drivers name, because he was friendly and provided excellent customer service, and most importantly got me on the road again in no time. He turned something that could have ruined my day into nothing more than a small bump in the road. Thanks, Ramos! read more

I have used many different AAA providers throughout my years of messing around with project vehicles. With that being said I have had good and bad experiences with tow companies, in my experience the bad experiences have usually reflected problems with dispatch and logistics more so than the drivers them selves. Regardless, I have thanked drivers and sometimes tipped when they were able to accept tips but have never felt the need to recommend there services to others. Tonight I was driving in my offroad project truck that I recently had made "road worthy" I was so confident in the truck that I even convinced my girlfriend to ride along. While on our way to a friends house the truck dropped a valve seat and barely made it off of the freeway. We coasted into the seediest part of town with my truck and came to a stop. After determining the truck was not gonna drive any further, I called AAA for flatbed service, expecting to have to wait an hour or more while fighting off the homeless people in the area. AAA informed me that they would be dispatching a tech from Ramos towing and the waiting game began. Much to my surprise Ramos towing was on the scene in less than 30 minutes, ready to save the day. The technician Ruben, after introducing himself to us and offering some ice cold bottled waters, got right to work. He secured our truck and we rode in the tow truck cab back home. Ruben genuinely cared about our well being and we had good conversations on the way home. Outstanding Service from a true professional! read more

My car broke down in what for me is the middle of nowhere. Sergio called me twice while on his way, and arrived 15 minutes before ETA sent to me. He was very professional and conversational during a pretty crappy time. He went above and beyond to ensure I got home safely, knowing I live very far from where my car broke down. He stayed on scene until he knew I was good to go. Thanks Sergio!! You're a hard worker and really nice guy. read more

Everyone from there dispatch to the driver, where truly awesome. Ramos Towing are professionals.

#1 tow company honesty helpful and friendly customers service!!!Every time I've had there service I was pleased and appreciate there time!

Our car was totaled in an accident last week. We were injured and unable to remove the car ourselves though we did have AAA. CHP had Ramos Towing tow the vehicle to their tow yard; presumably because they are AAA certified. Every day it was some payment excuse by the tow yard not to release our car to the insurance-dispatched tow company. By the time Ramos Towing "received" the payment for storage of the car, it was too late in the day for another company to pick it up before Ramos closed for the day. This went on for several days until Liberty towing assured us that this was a scam that Ramos regularly runs with insurance companies. Fed up, I called AAA and asked for AAA to dispatch Ramos to tow the car to the body shop. AAA complied, but again, Ramos gave dozens of excuses or why it was taking hours to move my car less than 5 miles even though AAA showed the tow truck on location the entire time. They gave up trying and said they would tow it at 7 am the next morning. By 11 am it still was not there. I called AAA yet again, and finally the vehicle was delivered by 1pm on Saturday. The initial request was submitted that Tuesday. While ultimately the insurance companies will be suffering from this price gouging, I believe it should be made aware that Ramos is operating with these business practices in place. I have already shared this information with AAA. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ramos Towing!!!! From the awesome girl in dispatch to my amazing tow truck driver Julian and the guy who's name I didn't get who came first to jumpstart my car!! First off both drivers arrived super fast and I was called twice by the office to make sure I was alright and to let me know when they would arrive! They were all so nice, friendly and very helpful!!! It was 100° + today and I had driven my little doggie to the Vet in Canyon Crest when my van broke down in the parking lot! I live 45 miles away and my van had to be towed back home to my mechanic!! Julian was so great letting my little elderly dog Chloe ride between us on the seat!! Plus he was great company on our 45 mile journey back to Hemet!! Everyone from Ramos made what could've been the worst day of my week into a pleasant and enjoyable experience!!! ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. NO MATTER WHAT...DO NOT LET THEM TOW YOUR VEHICLE TO THEIR YARD WILL COST BIG $$$$ SCAM ARTISTS. BEWARE. AAA should not use these people. Read the low stars reviews. This is a common practice to scam either the car owner or the insurance company. They asked about insurance coverage at a car accident and then proceeded to take advantage of a towing situation that benefited them the most and cost us $520 rather than bill AAA and take the car to a body shop as directed. Read on... Ramos Towing was requested by AAA for a towing service with the directive to tow our vehicle to an authorized body shop. The driver recognized that the car was totaled and asked my son (who was driving the car at the time) if the car had full coverage (Why would he need this info). My son called me to verify the type of coverage and then told the tow driver we did not have full coverage. The driver then called off the AAA tow request without telling my son and towed the car to a Ramos Towing lot. My son did not know AAA tow was called-off, the call-off was not verified by AAA (which is standard practice), and he was not told what fees would be charged as a result of towing the car to the Ramos Towing lot. When we called Ramos Towing the next day we were informed that the charge to retrieve our vehicle would be $600, $480 for towing, $60 hook-up, and $60 for overnight storage, or we would not be able to move the car to a salvage location. Elaine at Ramos Towing agreed to reduce the charge to $520 as a courtesy and refused to bill AAA or find any other resolution. They said we signed off on the paperwork and that was final. The invoice signed is a release of liability only. When questioning their practice, Ramos Towing stated that by law they had to call off AAA for the towing service as the car was towed to their lot. Ramos Towing clearly SCAMMED my son who was visibly shaken up from the accident and did not know what to do. He was not given the cost information for towing the car to their lot, nor knew to request a tow to his home which would have been covered by AAA. He expected AAA billed for the towing and hook up and was not informed otherwise. We never requested for the cancellation or call-off service to AAA. read more
