I understand that phone calls are part of the business, but I feel that customers who are physically present in the store should be given priority over customers calling in, especially when someone is already waiting in line. I want to emphasize that the service itself is great. The employees are wonderful, helpful, and friendly. I simply think the location could improve by prioritizing customers who are physically present over customers calling in. My daughter had two new tires installed two weeks ago. She was working late in Temecula and came out at 11 PM to a tire that was flat. She called AAA and had a tech come out to replace her tire with her spare. When the tech located her spare, it was flat. Most tire companies check your spare when you have new tires installed. She went back this morning to have her tires checked. The tech told her she needed an alignment. She explained that she just purchased the back two tires and they performed an alignment. He said he didn't know that even though she had it done in that store and he had reviewed her account on the computer. She asked to speak with a supervisor. A man named Joseph explained to her after she described her experience that America's Tire always offers an alignment when you purchase tires. That sounds horrible to me because they didn't check the car to see if need an alignment. They just offer it for the upsell. Furthermore, they patched the tire. So why would she need an alignment? Bad business. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but I have referred a ton of business to American's tires and I will not do that again. I feel bad for the next innocent, trusting individual that goes in and is under the impression they need an alignment when they don't. Because they offer it, regardless if the car needs it or not. They should be ashamed of themselves. And then they reply and say they want to correct it with more information but the link doesn't work. read more

Just moved here recently from the east coast, and Brain made me feel very welcomed, was very transparent about everything, quickly troubleshooted a tire pressure icon I had on my dash, and made the whole process very easy to understand and easy. I had an inspection for my car at the dealership yesterday. They pointed out I needed at least two tires immediately. I told them thanks but I had a guy. I called America's Tire and brought it in this morning. After comparing options, warranties and expectations, I made my selecting and they went to work to get them installed and me back on the road. I love the shop because all the techs (and they were properly staffed) are constantly moving and working. If your car isn't done yet you know it won't be long because of their efficiency and hustle. I do think I could have matched the bottom line price out the door at the dealership but they had neither the selection of tire or expertise to satisfy my dollar. Thank you. Came here 5/30/25 to get my tire checked. Back story: My tire ended up getting flat overnight, had it changed onto a spare. The tow truck driver offered to put fill it with air and place it back on since he didn't see anything that poked the tire causing it to go flat. I wasn't sure about, so I said I wanted to have it checked out, to make sure that my wheel wasn't cracked and caused the leak. I get to THIS place and although the staff is friendly, I didn't trust it. I was asked about getting a new tire if my tire couldn't be patched up. I wasn't too worried about having to purchase a new tire, cause again I didn't see anything that poked the tire nor any holes. I waited about 30-45 mins, then a tech calls my name and tells me that my tire was looked at and they will be able to patch it up and I can be on my way. Ok cool! At this point I'm happy that I wouldn't have to pay that $280 for a new tire. In the midst of being told about my tire, he proceeds to tell me that my spare is old and should be replaced. I wasn't doubtful about that, since it was my first time using the spare. He then asks if I wanted to get a price quote on the spare, I tell him "Ok!" He leads me over to the cashier who then gives me a $160 quote for a spare....ummm no thanks, not today! Since my tire could be patched up, that's all I needed at that time. All of a sudden, since I rejected the spare tire replacement, my original tire could no longer be patched up cause they found a screw in it, and now I have to buy a new tire. I was heated, and told him I wanted to see this alleged "screw" that was in my tire. When the tech brought over my alleged tire, there was a screw driver sticking out of it, that looked like it was deliberately damaged by the screwdriver to make it seem like the tire was damaged. Theres no way my eyes and the tow truck drivers eyes, would have missed that big ass tear. I then proceeded to ask the tech why did he tell me they would be able to patch up my tire and I'd be on my way?!?! It clearly must have been looked at first, if I was told it could be patched up. He never gave me a answer to my question, but made sure to dance around it. TRUTH IS! Because I didn't purchase a spare, they were gonna make sure I purchased something! Total BS and very misleading. Not to mention a manager was standing with him when he came up to me, and listened to him feed me that BS. Nothing is free there, they are always trying to upsale something. You go to get air, and they trying to sell you wiper blades! So disappointed in this place! read more

This location needs a lot of improvement. I made an appointment and was told I would have to wait 90 minutes. Came back at 5:00pm because I could not wait 90 minutes earlier and was told the wait was 90 minutes again. I waited 60 minutes and saw the workers taking cars that came after me. Although there were quite a few problems with my reservation not being made, and the tire I needed not being ordered as promised, Matthew Garcia went above and beyond to correct the errors and take care of me. He was able to order the tire and get it delivered within three hours and then kept in constant contact with me. Bought four wheels and tires from this place a little less than two years ago. My tires had a warranty of 50,000 miles. My miles were at 20,000 miles. Still under warranty, however the sales associate helping me out (Luis) was avoiding honoring the warranty. He said, "it's because of your alignment." He also said the warranty doesn't cover tires worn down to the wire. Only one tire was worn down to the wire, which means he's only supposed to charge me for one tire. Anyway, he charges me for two at $872. I told him they are still under warranty. He starts clicking his computer and says, "since I can tell you're upset, I'll charge you $515.94." $399.72 credit is a big difference. It's what I was supposed to be charged to begin with, one tire and a free one for being under warranty. SMH with this business trying to weasel out of the warranty. America's Tire at 3553 Merrill Ave. in Riverside, shame on you for your unethical business practices. And this business owner Gerry and the link he sent to "resolve my issue"doesn't even work. Do not use this place! I will not be returning! Why? Because they damaged my car and did not replace my center cap, as promised, after me and my wife have been loyal customers of America's Tires for years. Back in December, I took my car to the location on Merrill Avenue in Riverside, CA, to have two tires replaced. During the process, they damaged one of the four center caps on my high performance car. Now what I did like, was to the credit of the service person, he told me about that damaged center cap, before I noticed it, and he voluntarily agreed to replace it w/o me asking for that. However, after 3 weeks, I did not hear from him and I called to inquire about when the part would be available. When I spoke to the person that helped me, he told me that it must have been somehow misplaced, and to be patient, because he would reorder another one, so I was patient. Neverthless, an additional 2 weeks later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I stopped by in person, when I was in the area, and again the original service person that I talked to agreed to/let me know that would reorder it and call me when it arrived. 2+ months later, I still haven't received that call, so apparently that was either a lie or this is just not a priority to them, after they already collected my money. Fine, since we have that understanding, I will not be returning. No one forced him to say that he would order the center cap for my Lexus, so if that was not true, that could have been avoided from the outset by him not volunterring to do that. Adios to any further business from me and my wife, muchacho! I will not be returning, and I will also post on my company website for other employees not to visit them either. Intergrity matters, and if my company damaged it, we would have replaced it and it would have been provided and installed by now. I went recently to replace all four tires on my car and had a good experience. However I realized shortly after that I was missing a pocket knife that I always keep on my driver side for safety. I don't normally leave reviews, but the customer service was disappointing to say the least. I came in to get a tire patched and was told to come back 2 1/2 hours later, when I did I was told that I had to wait another hour and a half. Normally, I get a text message when ready to come in. The guy told me I wouldn't have gotten a message which seemed weird because I got the initial text about tracking the progress of my vehicle when I checked in. Honestly, not a big issue. I was just upset that I came back and was told to wait longer with no definitive timeframe. I understand it gets busy but the guy didn't even know what I was talking about when I came back. Secondly, I left my tire lock with them when I initially came and they forgot to give it back so I had to come back to pick it up after I left I don't ever have issues with America's tires and have always had great service, but this was just sloppy work. read more

Had the BEST experience at America's Tire inspecting, buying, and replacing new tires. I had made an appointment at the other Riverside location, but after realizing my mistake, the staff here was able to squeeze me in at this shop! Service was absolutely phenomenal. The technician that worked with me was very kind in explaining what kind of tires I needed, and showed me all the in-stock options based on their Wet and Dry Roads rating (ideal for the area). When reviewing the tire options, I felt no pressure to buy the most expensive pair, and the technician was not judgmental at all when I asked about more affordable options or coupons. Once I chose the set of tires that best suited my needs, I was in and out of the shop in under an hour! This blew me away considering I am used to waiting at the dealership for hours for preventative maintenance visits. One of the perks of getting tires here is they will rotate and check your tire pressure for free! Absolutely will be taking advantage of this when the time comes. This is a very trustworthy business. The prices are affordable and worth the trip to this location. This is the only place I will visit for my tire rotation and any tire replacements needed. They always work to give us the lowest price but always give the highest on customer service and care for their customers. I had my husband take our car in recently for a tire rotation since it was overdue. I use the car to drive to work daily so our car is a necessity for me. Thank goodness for the service guy who assisted him! The front tires were actually showing the metal threading and it was BAD! I didn't notice it because I only could see the outside of the tires when I would check them every now and then. I didn't realize the metal threading was showing on the inside of the front tires. My husband saw it with the service guy and said it was scary!! He was told the front tires could have eventually resulted into a blowout on the road had we not brought the car in. I am relieved we took it in when we did. I kept putting it off because I have been so busy. So we bought 2 new tires, and the tire rotation was added. Back tires added to front, 2 new tires to the back. It didn't cost us as much as I thought so I was thankful the new tires were within our budget. I just need to make sure to rotate the tires when required so the tires can last longer. I am grateful to have found this place! Get here early because it is a busy location. They prefer customers make appointments but walk-ins are also allowed, but you may have to wait until an opening is available compared to an appointment being made in advance. They used to be very good, they did not try to upsell you. Now its revenue over service. I went in for a faulty TPMS sensor. Then one bad TPMS sensor turns into "oh we strongly recommend replacing all four sensors at once or you will be coming back to replace them all anyway" which would cost over $300 dollars. I said no thanks, just replace the one as that is all I can afford at this time. Then they want to replace two tires because they are older than 6 years (they were the place that I got two new tires in 10/25/2019), when I declined getting new tires, then they tried to sell me new wiper blades! I just want to express how pleased I am with the service at this specific store . I was in about 2 days ago, I had a nail in my front tire . Mind you, I have a Ford Raptor and it's a 37 inch tire (very big tire). Tony was extremely professional. I always knew that Americas tire didn't charge for flat repair , however I thought with inflation/ time maybe they do charge. I was more than willing to pay . Keep in mind, 4 wheel parts was going to install an item on my truck this week and they wanted to charge 50 bucks on top of what I was already paying them to do . I appreciate that they will explain why they are recommending new tires due to the tread. They also have an appointment feature online that I HIGHLY recommended because it will save you A LOT of time! They will basically put you next in line when you arrive. Today I was driving home from our office and heard something slapping as I drove up Central. I stopped and found a steel Allen wrench stuck in the tread of my tire on my new car. I went to America's Tire on Merril Ave and showed them the puncture. The service man said that they could fix it. They were very busy and it was a while before they were able to get to my tire, but they repaired the puncture and didn't charge me for the repair. I'll give you the scoop on how they do it and by the reviews here there have been many victims. Step one, they remove the tire that needs repair or service, Bam! now you can't leave, nice. Second, they say "the tire or tires are completely damaged I can't repair them or put them back on, it's unsafe" boom! Now that got you hooked. Lastly, " Lucky for you we have these tires to sell you brand new and safe" chaching! Now you're overcharged for something you didn't want or need. This is so egregious I'm helping to do my part by going one step further and reporting this to the BBB. So if you've had a similar experience please follow up with the next step.
