Drop it off never got a call from them on a update called two days later was notified that they snapped a lug nut and they had to wait for a special tool to get it off a week later never heard from them called once again and said they had snapped another lug nut and would take longer to receive a tool to remove by the time I got the truck back it was damaged on the passenger side bed and they said they would have it fixed, they turned it in to there insurance and they denied the claim please be careful taking your vehicle to this shop they will damage it and not fix it, if you care about your vehicles condition upon return DO NOT TAKE IT TO THIS SHOP the manger Joe does not do what he says then does not not fix what they damage read more

I was an idiot and ignoring my tire warning due to the fact that it has been a pain in the rear for years. I shouldn't have ignored it today. I was driving back from a closed bookstore already disappointed to hear an odd sound coming from the right side of my car. Stopped on the side of Indiana, hopped out, checked my tires, hopped back in the car and told my child in near tears that we had a flat. Looked down the road at the intersection and saw Bud's Tires. Thought they were for sure closed and I was going to have to make some calls. Drove the very small distance to them and they were open! Went in and was warned (very kindly) it would probably be around a 3 hour wait if we chose to stay and wait for it to be done as opposed to leaving the car and coming back. I had no other option than to wait. So, I was preparing to do just that when they devised a plan to look and get it done quick and efficiently and get us on our way. My dad went about 1-2 weeks ago with his Tacoma to get new wheels and tires and this dude called Cesar was saying my wheels were cracked and worthless and he would be doing my dad a favor by leaving the wheels there and disposing them for him . Once my dad got home none of the wheels were cracked or damaged like he was stating . I know people like that . He was trying to scam and lie to my dad so he could sell them on the side . The worst, worst, worst, worst shop. My car stopped in the middle of the freeway in Riverside and it happened to be a right front brake problem. I have called a rando shop called "Big J's Auto Repair & Fleet Services" which was literally across the street from them. They said they could have helped me because they had no time for that day and they referred me to Bud's Tire. Big J's though, gave me an estimate for 440$ to replace both front calipers, brake pads, and flush and replace brake fluid. When I went to Bud's Tire, they said they would give me a free estimate. They started to look at my car and told me that it was going to cost 880$, which was double than the shop across the street. I asked them why and the couldn't give me a straight answer. I saw the invoice and they basically double charged me for the parts that were ordered at Autozone and delivered for free. Also they double charged me for labor. 400 $ for 1.5 hours job. After they poorly repaired my front brake, they told me that the back brakes were not working and I needed to replace bunch of parts for another 300/400$. Of course I didn't trust them and after my trip I took my car to my mechanic. My mechanic inspected my car and said that the back brakes were fine and they just needed some adjustment for 50$. Bud's Tire is a total scam and they are trying to get advantage of people. The guy at the front desk said that he couldn't do anything because the system didn't allow him to change the numbers... ahahaha What a funny excuse. They told me to go to another of their shop after the trip so that they could finish the work for free. Well, that never happened. When I went to another of their shop, the manager said that he was going to charge me for another inspection for 180$. I started laughing and I left because they refused to take my car and fixed it. These people are really ripping off us. I am just glad that my mechanic is honest like I am. Cheers people and don't be safe out there. read more

Second to worst auto shop experience I've ever had. I called the day before to make sure they would have time the next day to complete my auto work and mentioned I would be using insurance they work with. When I went to drop my car off at 9am, I wasn't greeted at the front desk or even acknowledged . When I approached the attendant at the front he finally made eye contact and ask could he help me in a unwelcoming manner as if I just interrupted his work. I checked in and he assured me they would call me with a diagnosis I go home while I wait for a phone call. 4 pm rolls around I haven't recieved a call so I check in and they claim they have been trying to reach me but couldn't get ahold of me when I didn't put my phone down not one time the whole time they had my car. I never recieved a phone call. So they then give a large quote and I ask so what does the insurance cover . They hadn't even reached out to the insurance company! Claiming they didn't have it on file . I needed my car to be done that day and I was beyond disappointed and frustrated . I took my business elsewhere and won't be back . So unprofessional. I am from out of town and started having issues with my car while driving to my parents house. They use Bud's and I dropped my car off with them. It ended up being a minor issue, but it required a part to be ordered. I didn't have time to wait for the part as I was supposed to leave for my vacation and needed my car. They found a temporary fix that allowed me to get my car back quickly so that I could leave for my trip. When I went to pay, they told me there was no charge as my parents were good customers. I had been having a rough few days and this act was amazingly kind and generous. I was initially going to have my own mechanic at home do the permanent fix , but I was so grateful for their kindness that I'm going bring my car back to them for the permanent fix even though it means me driving a longer distance. Called for hard to find larger set of tire on a random Saturday morning. They had the tires in house and ready for install 3 hours later. The techs were thorough and even made sure to take off their shop shirts before getting into my truck. To make sure not to get dirt and grime in my vehicle was something I have never seen before in all the shops I've been too. Robert and his crew saved me when my truck tire was reading low and after filling it at a local gas station, I could not get the sensor to turn off sending me in a panic thinking I had a slow leak. It was a Sunday and I am not from the area and I needed to haul my LQ gooseneck trailer fully loaded home 2 hours south. Robert and his team immediately addressed my concerns and filled my tires to the appropriate towing weight and reassured me it wasn't a leak just that I needed to fill my tires more and taught me the preferred tow psi for my tires. His team was so kind and supportive as I was clearly freaking out(I have had tire blowout on the highway before while hauling so I'm still traumatized from the experience). Robert was able to make me feel reassured and confident that my tires were good, sensors were working (he checked them) and I would be fine(he also has horse hauling experience so that made me feel even better). I went to go get a set of tires and a week later one of them pop. They didn't make sure to put enough air in the tires and that's what led for them to pop. The worker was rude blaming me for the tire pop and I explain to them how I didn't ran anything over but they still accused me, I would've said I ran something over if I did I'm not that naive to have to pay for another tire. On top of that they mentioned I have warranty but charged me for the tire and didn't explain why they charge me that amount. I would've like that they would not have charged cause I just had the tires a week and a half ago it should have been a courtesy of their company. read more

I have been buying new tires from this location since it opened many years ago. Shows how old I am! Guess I now see why the poor reviews recently. Went in this morning to have a tire patched. Guy that looked at it in the morning measured the tread and said they would do it but had a long wait. So made an appointment for late afternoon. Arrived and now they tell me they will not patch it as it is down to 2/32" in one small area and wanted to sell me new tires instead. I told him I understand, but the tire still has about 10,000 miles left on it the way I drive. I told him its just a patch, it will hold just fine whether the tire has 2/32 or 3/32 or 4/32" of tread left. Said he could not due to "policy". I told him you just lost a long term customer over your "policy" and my future new tire purchases would be from a new shop and left. read more

I brought my car in September first for A.C repair paid over 1,600 for a new radiator and condenser. Only to return shortly after with the same problem. Brought the car back september Ninth was told I needed a new shrader valve, part was replaced. Only to return a third time , to them telling me they couldn't find the problem. Returned a fourth time to be told I needed a a.c liquid hose assembly, but they couldn't get the party had to wait days with no a.c and return a fifth time to get it installed , was charged for the repair. A.C Stopped working three days later As of October 5 service still has not been rendered and still do not have AC . I tried making a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. But they are not credited through them. Says a lot about the company And their standards for customer satisfaction.I will be returning for the six time for them to repair this issue. We just had our drive shaft and axle replaced next door and I drove car directly next door and left car overnight for alignment. On the receipt it has 3 pages of pictures of the tire tread... the wear of the tread .. the tire pressure coming in and what the tire pressure was when it was done. The report said it came in at 30psi and left at 35psi. They also said 2 tires needed replacing soon. I took my 5 year old daughter to pick up the car and it was extremely wobbly and jumpy. Something still wasn't right. I called Bud's tire back and they said bring it back tomorrow morning everything shows good on your visit except 2 tires need replacement in the future not immediately. So I took the car the next day to my local trusted tire shop. And they said 1 tire needed replacement because it was so over inflated it was basically an egg. They said it was about to have a blow out anytime!!! They replaced that tire with a used tire. They said it didn't need 2 tires replaced just 1. Then he said come look at the tire pressure it is registering... I was shocked !!! Driver said had 79psi !!!! They other 67 psi and 52 psi. The 4 tire- passenger front was replaced. My tire guy said 79 psi is CRAZY they don't even hold that much. He said either there gages are EXTREMELY off or no one checked them.., now I am not saying buds tires put the air in.. and it is my uncle's car but as a tire shop this is DANGEROUS and VERY SCARY!!! After leaving my tire shop I went straight to BUDS tires with my 5 page report/receipt. They said 79psi sounds a little much as tires don't hold that much.. and my tire company probably didn't use digital tire gauges.. YES they did - I stood next to him when he showed me... and because I didn't replace 2 tires.. the car is obviously going to pull slightly. He said he redid the alignment. I am skeptical about that because he screenshot the computer screen with results.. I didn't get a 5 page receipt... This IS A TIRE and Alignment shop... there is no way the tires shouldn't have been checked correctly. The tech said before the cars go on the alignment machine the machine checks the tire pressure.... THIS IS A LIE - those 5 page receipts are pre populated with tire pressure measurements. They add pictures but it's obvious they do not do the pressure gauges as a courtesy or at all... when I asked him upon leaving what do you have to say about the tire pressure readings upon arrival and leaving... he said he is not going to speak on that but he will say make sure my tread matches the other tires when I buy used because the tire I had replaced at my local tire shop has better tread than the others now... Had to replace the engine. They keep telling him " it will be next week", "next week" still on the rack as it had been for quite a long time. Well currently my radiator hose busted causing my car to overheat and ruin its engine. Bought a car at car max, 2019 Ram 1500 - nice truck but pulled to the right slightly when braking. Part of the due bill was to align the truck. CarMax contracts with Buds to do this. After waiting 2 hours it comes back and I hop in.... Oh my god, truck drove terrible. Pulled hard to the right at all times and the steering wheel was several inches turned to the left to drive straight. (See picture) they obviously did not test drive it. I personally took it back and explained the issue. Another 90 minutes later they gave it back again without test driving it. Service desk was super nice about it to their credit. But upon driving it, steering wheel is better but still not straight - and it was straight before the alignment. Pulls to the left now. Wheel shakes when driving. None of this was present prior to their terrible techs touching my new truck. It's so out of alignment that 5 days later the brand new tires I've only had on the truck 2 weeks are starting to cup on the outside edges. Completely unacceptable. I opted to not even go back, I'll take it somewhere competent to fix it. Run away from this shop. Do not trust them with your car. read more

He also matched a tire price with another tire store. They are a full service place so they just don't do tires. I would highly recommend this location of Bud Tires and to ask for Ismael. We are having our mount for the transmission replaced, they did the conversion of halogen lights to LED lights on our headlights, and possibly new brake pads. read more

Wow, shocked how poor service was after going to them for years. Went in yesterday for a tire leak, they suggested I'd have a shorter wait if I made an appointment for the next morning. No Problem. Went in for my morning appointment, was told it would be a 2 hours wait, same as the day before, as an employee came in 45 minutes late. But seeing I was angry, he told me they could probably do it sooner if I skip all the free services they offer. I said ok. Although the wait was just over an hour, and it required me paying for a new tire, I had other issues. I had a cup with me and went to make tea at the water dispenser, and after trying was told it didn't work and that "corporate" was being cheap and not fixing it. How about putting a broken sign on it? Then I thought id use the Keurig machine to heat water for my tea, until I noticed the water tank had green algae in it. When I left I told him he might want to clean it. His response was "we don't use it". I'll consider other places in the future! read more
