My fiancé and I were looking a quick bite. Upon entering the host placed our name in a waitlist. Our wait time was about 15 mins. Our server was Chance and he was attentive. We ordered a coke and a sampler. Everything in the sampler was good except the egg roll it had an aftertaste. Overall the experience was great especially having the jungle themes

Had a reservation for 16 and they crammed us into a table that was 4 seats shorts and squeezed in extra chair. So we sat...shoulder to shoulder. Food was tasty tho.

I already knew Rainforest Cafe would be overpriced, but since it was my daughter's birthday we bit the bullet. Our waiter was also preoccupied with making drinks for the bar, he tried to do a good job at least. So, I ordered the Blue Mountain Caprese sandwich, of which the lemon grilled chicken was actually good! I just thought the bread was too hard and ended up taking it off the (what I think was) French bread and eating the chicken/tomato/mozerella by itself. Also, the Cole slaw that came with the sandwich tasted and smelled old, I took one bite and stopped for fear of getting sick. The fries were good while they were warm; however, they turned too hard once I took them to go indicated they had already been reheated. I ended up tossing them. My husband ordered the Python chicken pasta, his pasta sauce was BLAND! But the chicken was abundantly flavorful though. And my childrens' meals were good! The mini burgers were great, dry but tasted good at least. All in all, $80 for a family of 4 wasn't worth it. We didn't order dessert and only had one coke with everyone else drinking water. It really is overpriced for the quality, as one would assume for a mall novelty restaurant. I would probably just recommend drinks and dessert, after already eating a meal elsewhere.

Rainforest Café - Grapevine Fun for kids and kids at heart! Expect to pay $30+ per person. Food isn't great. As the name of this place, you do feel like you're inside a rainforest. Staff were good, not great. Our waiter came by once to take our order and once to bring check. Food was decent but way overpriced. House salad was bare minimum and wilted. Soup was very small and cold. Anaconda Pasta wasn't too much to write home about. The menu option is very limited. The décor was decent, as well, but everything in here is 1990's original. Some of the animatronics were too scary for 2025. The rainforest sounds you'd expect to hear are also limited. The thunder and lightning effects are also outdated. The music was loud and wasn't fun to talk loudly to hear each other. They need to revamp this location and for the money they're charging, redecorate and update their '90's animals. If you're coming here, it's a once in the blue moon type of visit. Be sure to bring lots of money as food is overpriced. Between two people we paid $60.

Rainforest is a great resource to take your kids to We went with the majority of our family about 10 The problem with this is the table we sat at was minimal view of the actual rainforest animals etc so make sure we don't sit by the aquarium We had as an appetizer the Korean chicken wrap excellent and healthy My son and I ordered Cajun ribeye w shrimp and veggies Spouse had the combo fajitas For desert the lava cake which never disappoints

It's a super cute experience if wanting to dine with children. The food is average but good and the service was fantastic

The food was decent, and the ambiance was outstanding, but the service left much to be desired--slow and understaffed. It's baffling that a place like this hasn't implemented an online payment system like Chili's or Chuy's. I had to wait a frustrating 30 minutes just to settle my bill, even though there were no issues with it--just a long wait. The food also took a long time to come out. They could take notes on efficiency from Chick-fil-A and digital convenience from Chili's. I shared my concerns with the manager, George, but the conversation was entirely unproductive--just a series of excuses. I won't be returning. One of the rare places I've rated one star--would've given zero if that were an option.

    Bathroom

My daughter and I visited this location during spring break 2026. It was busy as expected, however the service was mediocre, our waiter told us he was ready to go home as he took our drink order, pure chaos in there. The women's bathroom was deplorable, even children who walked in commented to n how nasty it was, Im talking 5-7 yr old kids. I was so disgusted and felt I might catch something second hand had I used it. Prices are way too high to be given the service and appearance we experienced. Please do better, I wont be back.

It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday evening. The interior is very dark, designed to resemble a forest. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of urine when you first walk in. Honestly, we would have left if we'd been seated near that odor. Thankfully, it improved as we moved further inside. The service was extremely slow. When our server finally came over, he seemed distracted and zoned out while we were placing our order. The food itself was dry and completely lacking in flavor. For the price, it was disappointing and felt like a poor value. I definitely would not recommend this place. We only went for the kids, and even then, my son didn't enjoy the meal.

While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

Don't put vague descriptions in print if your staff can't break them down when the guest asks questions. On a side note, I know for a fact that this company requires all their managers to be clean shaven. Yet, I saw a cook/chef with a fairly thick, quasi-biker beard working the line in an open kitchen in clear view of guests. Kind of ironic. I'd rather the dude making my food be clean shaven for obvious reasons. Unlikely that I return.

My boulevardier was spot on, and then I shared a smoked Old Fashioned with my friend that was just... exquisite. Smooth, balanced, and a little dramatic in the best way. Food held its own. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chopped chicken salad was fresh and satisfying, and my friend's Reuben got a lot of love from her side of the table. And then came dessert. We shared the Whiskey Cake with praline ice cream, and let's just say, it lives up to the name. Decadent, rich, and absolutely worth it. Service was really good. Attentive without hovering, and thoughtful in those small ways that stand out. At one point, our server split the Old Fashioned for us without us even asking. That kind of anticipation earns points.
