Super fun time with friends!!
Melissa P.

Amazingly beautiful cool atmosphere. Very good drinks, loved the smoked old fashion and Jell-O shots. My favorite dish was the scallops risotto...yum!!!The Baos were delicious, specifically the Braised Pork Belly and Korean Fried Chicken. Lamb shank Korma...wow!!Service was efficient and extremely pleasant. Overall our party had an exceptional time and plan to go back soon.

Love this place!! My go to spot in DFW for a fun evening and/or gathering with friends or a corporate company dinner. Been here a handful of times and always in awe with this venue , simply breathtaking!! Definitely a hidden gem in DFW , as the pacific rim cuisine is delicious and the decor is immaculate down to every detail. The drinks are simply amazing , with a wide array of cocktails. My favorite dish is the scallop risotto, simply the best risotto I have had ever , and I've had many around the world . Violet impress is an amazing cocktail, make sure they add the butterfly to it . For dessert the crème brûlée or the chocolate torte dessert are to die for . The service is great , the hostess has always been polite , greeted me, sat my party quick. Trust me , go, bring your friends , and have an unforgettable experience!!

Ok, so this was our 1st time coming here.. And we decided to celebrate our Boo Neko's Birthday here.. And man, oh man, we had a ball.. While I was waiting for my party to arrive, my server Joelynn was giving me great vibes and energy.. I was Undecisable with my drink option, and Joelynn provided me with options of her choice.. and surprised me with the most delicious drink.. Calling it the Jalapeno Bee Sting. We're definitely coming back!!! Highly recommend

Roasted Miso Seabass

The food was so good. I had the Roasted Miso Seabass and it was delicious!! The drinks were good but a bit in the pricey side. Our Server, Tammy was really on it! I loved the board of knives. She explained which ones we should choose based on our meals. I thought that was very cool. The ambiance was cool too. I want to go back for dinner and a show! I loved the tray of Jell-O shots. I'd never seen them served like that before, super cute idea... wish we could've kept the little doggie bank, LOL. I also had, no pictured, a Gamma Ray and it was soooo good. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Went for valentines dinner and sadly disappointed with overall experience. Reservations were for 7:30. With valet overrun had to self park for $20 since there was a concert that night next door. When arrived there was a line outside that lasted 25 min. Once it took additional time to check in. Wasn't sat until 8:10. Entree didn't arrive until 9:25. Couldn't eat until 9:30 since no utensils or plates were provided. Also never received a water glass and wife's water was never refilled for duration at table. Also seated in one of farthest tables in back. Easier to see band on monitor then on stage. Second drink took 25 minutes to receive. Several people around us decided to just order from the bar. Band was good but took 3 breaks since arriving for 10-15 minutes. Very annoying to sit there several times with no food, drink or music. Would have walked out several times but prepaid. Only positive was the food was decent and seasoned but steak luke warm. Never offered dessert on Valentine's Day. Grateful we received food when we did as there were surrounding couples that were sat near when we were and still hadn't received food before we fled. Overall understaffed and poorly mismanaged especially upon entry using a paper seating system which was a huge bottleneck. Too little servers and runners who were witnessed several times meandering around looking for the tables to deliver food and drink. Pretty embarrassing overall and for the price will never return.

Dansungsa - korean fried chicken

What a cool spot! My partner and I were looking for a good late night spot and Dansungsa checked…read moreoff all the boxes! It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. I'll say the standout was the bulgogi and lemon pepper wings. Also, the fries were stellar! Needless to say we'll definitely be back!

I stopped by another Korean spot first, but they told me a solo diner had to wait. After 10…read moreminutes, I said "forget it" and wandered into this place instead. When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.

If I could I would totally gate-keep this place! But the…read morefood is just too good not to share! The staff was very lovely, everyone greeted you as you entered and as you left. Regardless of race, they greet you in their language, "anhyonghasaeo" which gives it more of an authentic vibe. The menu is hung above the cashier in both Korean and English language. We came during lunch hour today and they were pretty busy, though we didn't even have to wait long for the food. I grabbed a tray of their gimbal (spicy w/ anchovies) laid out in the front, I loved that it came with pickled radish and a wasabi sauce. It was everything I was craving! For only $7 there were like 10 rolls in there! As for the main entrees, I ordered the spicy pork ribs, which was so good and tender, falling off the bone! I also ordered the seafood pancake, it wasn't as crispy as other places I've tried but it was full of flavor and full of seafood! I'd take this seafood pancake over Maht gaek's any day! I also ordered the soontofu soup combo with stir fried pork. Each entree came with a side of purple rice and plenty of side dishes. Their kimchi was especially good. You can tell it's made in house, it was very fresh and delicious. Overall everything was so good, that I have no complaints about the food. I would honestly come back tomorrow

Cute clean little place! We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. They have tables and private…read morerooms that you can choose to eat at. You order first at the counter then wait for the buzzer for your food. We ordered the soybean paste stew with mackerel. Our friend ordered the marinated meat with kimchi stew. Both were delicious but I think I preferred the marinated meat! There were lots of yummy banchan as well. My favorite were the marinated vegetables. The owner was super nice and friendly. Lots of parking available in this little plaza. Worth a try if you're in the area.
