SPICY CRISPY CHICKEN
Poetuh V.

The service was very technology driven, no worries about that. Just takes me a second to figure it out sometimes. The spicy chicken sandwich was phenomenal, perfect combination in between two buns. The restaurant atmosphere was very calm and clean. Great place to grab a bite. Side note: be prepared to eat some great vegan food

The thinnest, saddest sourdough bread slice

Third review. 1. The vegan pasta is comforting, rich with just a touch of heat. I absolutely love it. 2. The eggs...mushy and very sweet squash in eggs next to boiled potatoes? Ketchup with a dash of curry? Salad dressing so light you can't even tell it's present? I love eggs and this could have been one of the favorites. It was not a satisfying meal at all. 3. Chimichurri Burger- the combination of grilled onions, peppers, crunchy potato sticks is a truly amazing and creative combo. The bun? Several days old, dry - it tasted dry, dense and stale. Instead of absorbing the sauces and bringing everything together it did the very opposite. I was going to try their French toast and decided to make it at home instead - fresh challah or brioche with vanilla bean, cinnamon, pinch of salt and splash of heavy cream mixed in with eggs + maple syrup and fresh berries. It will take more effort than just ordering it at a restaurant but I'm not taking anymore risks.

Neatball Masala

Inviting from the jump. Spacious, comfortable seating invited me to seat myself and scan the QR. The menu looks wonderful! I knew I wanted some kind of vegan bowl that would be delicious and satisfying. I chose the Neatball Masala. Supergrains held up steamed kale, pickled carrot shavings and soy tzatziki that was bright and tangy. A few sprigs of fresh cilantro made this dish pop. Neatballs made from mushrooms and nuts held up well to the coconut masala. I paid for adding on some falafel balls on top and this made for a super satisfying and delicious meal!

ORECCHIETTE & SPICY SAUSAGE ARRABBIATA

I have been coming here regularly lately because I'm often in the area for jazz events. My friend and I are both vegan so this is absolutely one of our favorite eateries! Between the two of us, we've probably eaten everything on the menu. I was here for Earth Day for the BOGO impossible burgers as well. Plus, if you show them that you are an SF Vegan Society member, you can get a discount. I'm not sure how old the restaurant is, but they maintain it well and it is always busy. They have mastered the various self-ordering methods as well. With the staff always smiling and helpful, it's no wonder people keep coming back! And of course, the food tastes awesome!

AVOCADO TOAST
Jasmine M.

Ordering involves a kiosk! We ordered an avocado toast, Vietnamese latte, and a golden latte. Took about 13 min to get ready and it wasn't super busy. The greens have a perfect amount of dressing where you get a taste of it in each bite without it being overwhelming. The onions are a perfect compliment to the toast. Would definitely order again :) Their Vietnamese coffee tastes strong! Not too sweet but that's totally fine. Inside is pretty quiet (quiet conversations). I don't think there was music playing but it totally plays into the calm vibes it's giving off. I will say it's on the pricey side, but worth it if you're in a rush and need something tasty! 8/10 their avocado toast is sooo delicious! I will admit, I do come in to work here since they have a lot of tables, charging ports, and great vibes.

CHIA PUDDING
Monina T.

I absolutely love Rad-Radish! Ordering from this restaurant is always a treat. Their hummus is my absolute favorite--so flavorful and delicious. It's perfectly paired with fresh vegetables, and you can add a side of pita if you like. My second favorite, which I hope they never remove from the menu, is the Chia pudding--truly the lightest, most irresistible dessert ever! I enjoy both takeout and dine-in, and every serving size is just right. The service is friendly and consistent, making each visit enjoyable. The cozy ambiance resembles a bustling coffee shop, lively and welcoming with a diverse crowd. If you're craving a light yet satisfying meal, this spot is a must-visit!

caesar salad "CHICKEN" CAESAR WRAP
Linda Y.

Really pleasantly surprised by how much I like Rad Radish! I am not vegetarian/vegan at all but the flavors here are so good. I love the kale caesar salad with falafel added in -- super flavorful with a good crunch, and the falafel is nice and juicy. The "chicken" caesar wrap was also very yummy (surprisingly kind of spicy to me. The restaurant is a perfect blend of casual yet trendy, and there's always plentiful seating. You order at a kiosk and the inside ambiance is very comfortable. Love it!

SPICY CRISPY CHICKEN with fries
Shivangi K.

Sit-down spot for casual bites! Delicious vegan alternatives -- I went with the spicy crispy "chicken" sandwich. Loved the flavors & crisp of the patty. Fries were yummy, but stood out mostly bc of the ketchup! Ordering is via table QR code or self-ordering kiosk! Easy, convenient & still get the same sit-down experience.

Zoe G.

I really enjoy the fries here all three sauces are great. The inside is beautiful and it's a great spot for vegans and non vegans alike. I'm a little sad they got rid of the meatballs but I can always eat their fries.

Great tasting vegan food easily ordered on QR code and paid upon order. Then a friendly server will offer water and our Neatball Masala bowl, Mezze salad came later, after I received my blueberry mint probiotic soda, which was refreshing and tart! Casual yet classy atmosphere with regulars, Rad is great!

Lunch treat Healthy or fast food path? Neatball Masala Blueberry oat muffin Coffee milkshake Mix of "healthy" and not. Dessert treat Very busy at 1pm Sunday afternoon which I expected. Pretty nice interior with varied seating capacity. Three ways to order, easy QR ordering with my pre-existing Toast account at table destination. Easy menu navigation and ordering. Expected SF pricing. Noticed self served water and to go boxes well after seating and lucky it was visible to me. The poor one young server was working harder than others. That's why I hate giving tip before service. Milkshake came a bit after food which came quickly. They group all drinks for multiple tables in one server trip. Masala was enjoyable with the contrast of flavors. Not large but filling. Would probably order again but much more of the menu to try for this first time. Tasty muffin but not many blueberries. Milkshake was good and dense. Overall an enjoyable lunch.

Rad radish has really grown on me. Not that I didn't like it when they first opened, but I think I dismissed it as just being a limited version of Wildseed. But not so! Rad Radish's menu is really great irrespective of its connection to Wildseed. And their space in Hayes Valley is a lot closer/convenient for me, not to mention just a nice environment overall. What I appreciate most about Rad Radish's menu is the solid representation of vegetable-forward dishes, including excellent salads, wraps, and apps like the cauliflower. They also have a thorough beverage menu--cocktails, mocktails, juices, coffee, and tea. And the icing on top (for me), usually one or two muffins available! As to their space, I personally like the self-seating and order from the QR code system. It allows you to do your own thing and take as little or as much time as you need. And because the space is so big, I'm not worried about finding a spot. Pro tip: they have a regularly changing seasonal menu and these items are always delicious. Keep an eye out!

Lavender Latte
Rabia I.

It did not disappoint. The veggie burger was flavorful and satisfying, and the lavender latte was so good -- smooth, unique, and not overpowering. The whole vibe is cozy, fresh, and welcoming. Definitely becoming one of my favorite spots to keep coming back to. Burger was so good I didn't even get a pic!

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

I wouldn't call it spicy at all. The omelette felt small for the price and there wasn't much filling inside. It came with a side of potatoes that were really good. They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
