I've eaten at Rad Radish three times so far, all for lunch. Twice I dined in, and once I ordered to go, and each time I chose something from their Salads & Bowls menu. I find their bowls and salads fresh, healthy, and filling, which makes this one of my favorite lunch options during the workweek. The Mezze Salad is a particularly good choice when you're hungry. One time I added chicken, falafel, and avocado, and another time I kept it simpler with just chicken. Both combinations worked well, although adding all three definitely made for a substantial lunch! I also tried the Kale Caesar Salad, which has the makings of another favorite, but unfortunately the dressing was much too salty for my taste that day. I'll probably try it again sometime to see if that was just a one-time thing. The dining area is open, bright, clean, and comfortable. It works equally well for lunch with colleagues or friends, or for sitting by yourself with a meal while reading or working on a laptop. Yes, I still continue to order food from here. It's just so delicious, easy, and convenient. On my last order of the breakfast scramble, there was barley any egg. Fortunately they gave me more veggies and squash to make up for it. The portion of potatoes were on the smaller side this time like half. Same with the ketchup- the container was 1/3 filled. I need more ketchup that that! The breakfast scramble hasn't been on the menu for 1+ months now. I hope they bring it back. The chopped salad is another one of my favorite salads here. I love the chilled soba noodles bowl. The September monthly Cubano burger wasn't on the menu when ordering on the tablet. Speaking of burgers, I am so happy they offer lettuce wrapped and gluten-free buns. For the kids cheeseburger, can you please offer a gluten free bun option? My friend suggested this place for dinner after I worked out. I was down since the options seemed light, and I'd never tried it before despite it being on my radar forever. My friend and I ordered separately, and she placed two orders at the in-store kiosk - one for dine-in and one for takeout for another friend. She placed the orders separately, so there were two distinct transactions, and she took two numbers. I didn't notice the numbers, so I just put my name into the kiosk I ordered from. A staff member stopped by our table and berated my friend for taking two numbers even though she was in the right because she placed two separate orders. Sure enough, when she went to pick up the to-go order, the second number was written on the bag. Third review. 1. The vegan pasta is comforting, rich with just a touch of heat. I absolutely love it. 2. The eggs...mushy and very sweet squash in eggs next to boiled potatoes? Ketchup with a dash of curry? Salad dressing so light you can't even tell it's present? I love eggs and this could have been one of the favorites. It was not a satisfying meal at all. 3. Chimichurri Burger- the combination of grilled onions, peppers, crunchy potato sticks is a truly amazing and creative combo. The bun? Several days old, dry - it tasted dry, dense and stale. Instead of absorbing the sauces and bringing everything together it did the very opposite. I had this saved in my bookmarks with "2025 best burgers in SF" and wound up getting the cold noodle salad instead! My partner wanted to try the pasta with tomato sauce and sausage and we matched both up with sparkling wine based drinks. Service was exceptionally quick and the pasta was piping hot. Both the pasta and the noodle salad had a really intense spicy kick to them but overall the flavours were just perfect and delicious. We cleared out both our dishes fast and were very happy with the food. The only (small) complaint is the pasta should come with bread or something similar to clean up all the extra sauce that gets left in the bowl when you're done eating! The sauce was so good and they are generous with the volume of it, we would have loved to leave a clean bowl and get all the delicious sauce out. I have been coming here regularly lately because I'm often in the area for jazz events. My friend and I are both vegan so this is absolutely one of our favorite eateries! Between the two of us, we've probably eaten everything on the menu. I was here for Earth Day for the BOGO impossible burgers as well. Plus, if you show them that you are an SF Vegan Society member, you can get a discount. I'm not sure how old the restaurant is, but they maintain it well and it is always busy. If you asked me last year if I wanted to return to Rad Radish, I would have respectfully declined. My first experience was underwhelming to the extreme, marked by a memorably dry, bland, and badly portioned poke bowl. I'm not even sure that's in the menu anymore, and thankfully, I was brave enough to give it a second chance, because the difference was night and day. From the food to the service, I couldn't have asked for anything more. The fact that you can get breakfast all day now is already a huge bonus, and that the options are fully stacked with a proper scramble and chilaquiles? Hell yeah, I knew what I wanted right away. The vegetable scramble, contrary to the evergreen photo featured, was smartly furnished with seasonal sections, including tender kabocha folded into the eggy mass, and a hearty kale and chicory blend with apples for the salad. Simple but flavorful, hearty but healthy, it was exactly what I was craving. Also, the potatoes are not to be overlooked; crispy outside, juicy inside, well seasoned, and served with a complex ketchup that had notes of curry, I couldn't get enough. I usually hate ketchup too, for the record. My friend got the chilaquiles which was a stunning mountain of food. Crowned by a fluffy omelette, loads of salsa and beans, there were tortilla chips for days, in the best way. Trust me, you will not leave hungry, even if you're generous enough to share. What I appreciate most about Rad Radish's menu is the solid representation of vegetable-forward dishes, including excellent salads, wraps, and apps like the cauliflower. They also have a thorough beverage menu--cocktails, mocktails, juices, coffee, and tea. And the icing on top (for me), usually one or two muffins available! As to their space, I personally like the self-seating and order from the QR code system. It allows you to do your own thing and take as little or as much time as you need. And because the space is so big, I'm not worried about finding a spot. Pro tip: they have a regularly changing seasonal menu and these items are always delicious. Keep an eye out! read more

I loved their mezze salad with neatballs, which came with a fresh bed of arugula, mint, and parsley, topped with pickled onions, cucumber, tomatoes, roasted red bell peppers, and quinoa. The vegan chick'n was quite convincing and had a lovely crispy outer crust that somehow survived our long bus ride to the Richmond. Overall, it was a very comforting dish. The fried chicken sandwich was okay. As someone who does eat real chicken, the texture of the vegan chicken isn't going to be the same and I expected that. I think battering and frying oyster mushrooms might give it a crunchier texture that I'm looking for. And the Caesar wrap was delicious! I know Caesar wraps are a thing now, and this is the second one I've had. So I can't compare it to the one from that popular place in Cow Hollow. But I thought it was so good that I even contemplated on getting it today when I only had one yesterday. The veggies are fresh, the amount of dressing is just right where it gently coats the lettuce. And the lettuce and kale are crunchy, as well as the croutons. I don't think it needed the chickpeas, which weren't very crunchy. I think offering roasted chickpeas on the side would've been better.
