Every time I bring my car here for service they take forever. I made an appointment over a week ago to fix my rear defroster but still spent all day waiting for my car because they never ordered the part for my car. Completely unprofessional and really inconsiderate. I brought my car in at 8 and didn't get it back until 4 on a job I was quoted would take 3 hours. After I got the car back the rear windshield broke. After finally receiving my car a day and a half later, I have a functioning rear defroster. Last time I bring my car here. I suggest anywhere else for your car's servicing. read more

Apparently my ac issue was not something under warranty.. so I was and am annoyed and mad, just 6 months ago we paid $900 for ac repair and now another $500... we did not get done at Raceway, we will not ever go back there because they will not give us a ride home because we live more that 10 miles away. But Mark the service guy was very nice, and he took my anger really well... sorry Mark, I just dont ford service centers, or paying all kinds of money for an issue that probably should have been taken care of when you replaced the other ac parts. read more

I had a very good experience with Alan Leon, a Service Advisor at Raceway Ford. My Mustang had a lot of problems due to its age (2005) but thanks to Alan, I got all of the problems fixed in less than a week. Very efficient and fast service. The car runs like new now. It was a very pleasant experience. read more

The BEST car buying experience that I have ever had after buying personal cars for the past 28 YEARS. I have always done my homework before I buy a car so I am a well prepared buyer. Here is what I look for in a good dealership: 1.Professional staff that know their product and treat you with respect. 2.Salesperson that is upfront and doesn't make empty promises. 3. Competitive pricing along with regional market trends. 4. No Games or stall tactics. Upon walking into the show room I met Phil, he was very professional and knew his inventory. This saved me a lot of time. (PRIOR to heading to Raceway Ford I visited another dealer where I spent 30 minutes just waiting for the sales staff to find the keys to the vehicle that they could not find. And this is after I had e-mailed them 3 hours ahead of time that I was coming and what I was seeing.) Phil instantly knew the price, options, and service history of the vehicle that I wanted to see (which was impressive because they have a large inventory of cars), he also asked what I was looking for in case there was something else that might be of interest to me. After checking out the vehicle I gave him my registration to my trade in and my keys. While on the test drive my trade in was appraised. The vehicle was in great condition and I told him that I was interested. Some dealers use time to their advantage by letting you sit there for hours waiting for trade in value and price of the vehicle. Within 15 minutes of arriving from the test drive they gave me their best price, no wasting time playing games but straight forward and to the point. They were competitive on my trade in which I had previously had appraised by auto trader market places trade in offer. Within 5 minutes after that, they gave me their finance options which was also competitive with my bank. I met Fidel at the Finance office while they conducted final checks on the car that I chosen, which involved Phil and he made sure that the vehicle was to my satisfaction. Johnny in the service department spent time to explain what maintenance I will have to perform in the future. Overall the product was great and I am happy with the vehicle. Would I drive four hours again round trip to purchase a car from Raceway Ford, YES no doubt about it. The great staff from Sales, Finance, and Service Department were fantastic, and they worked together as a team to create a great car buying experience. My tip to anyone is to set up an appointment ahead of time, do your research on the vehicle that you are looking at, and KNOW what the market value of your trade in and the vehicle that you are looking at is. That will make your experience must better for you and the staff that is there to help you find what you are looking for. read more

Raceway Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Riverside, California

I just bought a 2021 Ford F-150 at Raceway Ford. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. They did their best to give me a good deal with a payment that worked well for me. My truck is awesome! My salesman was John Wachenheimer. He was very helpful and informative. He was also very patient and helped me to find the truck that was best for my lifestyle! I'll begin this by saying that I believe credit is due when and where it is due. In other words, I don't take this matter lightly. In this case, the Sales Department is lacking in several areas; I'll discuss further in a moment. I'll also add that a large part of this review is my personal reflection over the course of two encounters, regarding the purchase of a performance vehicle during the COVID-19 shutdown. Item#1: Laxidasicial attitudes - This is the first dealership where I've had to seek out a salesperson. The first day, I walked the lot for five to ten minutes then wandered inside to find everyone sitting at their desks. I grant you that this was at about 4:00 pm, two hours before close, but in my eyes, if I'm (literally) the only customer you have, that's enough time to get things rolling. The second day, I sat on the tailgate of my truck, waiting for someone to engage me. After a group of managers walked past, someone finally asked if I'd been helped. Item#2: When I indicated that I was a government employee, with a stable paycheck and willing to negotiate either a trade-in or cash-up-front, I was met with... shall we say, little more than a scoff? When I returned the next day, mentioning that I'd be willing to lease the vehicle, I audible HEARD the sales managers talking about me, saying, "Don't offer him that," and "No - That's the bottom line." Once again, I was the ONLY customer on the sales floor. Also, when it's quiet, the acoustics within the semicircular glass showroom is perfect to hear everything, if you're near the apex of the wall/windows (or corners). Item#3: Online inventory review from RacewayFord.com indicated that the particular stock number (20X***) I had selected was in already preselected by the manufacturer for $1500 "Ford Retail Credit Bonus Cash", $750 "Retail Customer Cash" and because I am a paramedic, $500" Ford Military Appreciation/First Responder Credit. None of this was offered during the sale negotiation, the first day. NONE OF IT! (It was not applicable the second day when we discussed a lease option.) I knew I would qualify for a generous APR on Ford Motor Credit, due to my credit history and verifiable income, but out-of-the-gate, I had already done my research and knew what the retail suggested price ($27,210.00) was going to be. When I was quoted (without a trade) at 31K, without a seconds hesitation to introduce the incentive program into the mix, I got the sneaking suspicion that they just didn't want to sell a car that day... Item#4: Directly by a door is the employee smoking area, which opens into the salesfloor. Two employees, one of whom was from parts, were taking their smoke breaks within the direct line-of-sight of the customer. I've no opinion on smoking, but perhaps for the brand imagery, this should be a concern for management. Perhaps a lot of this should be a concern for management. Item# 5: Maybe it was close to closing time - maybe it was just the back-office managers, but when the statement, "Looks like you're sleeping here tonight [salesman]," was introduced into the open conversation - my spidey senses got a little more intense. Sales staff are people - junior or not. I prefer not to support organizations who harass (jokingly or otherwise) their staff members. It's a matter of professionalism. Summary: I returned the next day, thinking that a good night's rest and some time to reflect would produce a better result. It didn't. Instead, I was passed off to another salesman, who openly asked me questions like, "How are you going to pay for the down payment today? Cash? Credit Card? Well, what TYPE of credit card?" (Does that matter? Liability is incurred between the cardholder and card-provider, not the individual merchant when it comes to credit cards. Call that strike one.) "It's gonna be a minute - they're having to rework some stuff." (Excuse me? I was already in the system and approved. There's nothing to rework with Ford Financial. Strike two.) And finally, when I stood up and told him to call me when he got the numbers, he asked, "Where are YOU going? I'm not going to call YOU." (Cool bro... don't call me. Strike three - I'm out.) This leads me to ask, why was I treated this way? Is it because I'm a single father? Perhaps it's because I'm a veteran, in my thirties, or worse, was this a racial matter? I can't help but think that all of this boils down to the fact that, because I walked in with a beat-up truck, my son, and wearing gym shorts, it was apparent to the sales staff that I don't, "look like I can afford" the vehicle I intended to buy. Raceway Ford, at this point, you have probably figured out who I am, and how to contact me. Don't! read more

My husband and I were shopping for a preowned vehicle in a thunderstorm last week...so we first shopped online from home. The website is really nice and let's you navigate around and pre qualify.. We then went over to the dealership. We were met by Dawn Smith who is the sweetest lady. We never were pressured into something we didn't want and never felt haggled. The whole experience was stress free. She had us in and out in our new car within 120 minutes and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Mark the GM and Dawn felt like friends when we left. I will always buy all my cars here and highly recommend Dawn if you want a very honest person to shop with. read more

I just bought my THIRD car from Raceway yesterday and there's a reason they're the only dealer that gets our business and that's just because they are the best! Very slow service! Add at least another 1 or 2 hours to the time they promise you to get your car serviced!

I have dealt with Raceway for many years even before when they were Campus Ford in Riverside. I have always been satisfied with their sales and service until now. I had my 2006 F-250 in for an intermittent engine shut off. They diagnosed fuel pump problem and said that was the problem. Not. Took it back in and they informed me that the PCM was bad and would fix it. Still it was not the problem. Then I got it back and the radiator blew less than 100 yards from the dealership. Temp did not register on the gage because of an electronic problem. Anyway after almost 7 months of being in their service department they found out that it was a wiring harness that was the problem all along. So all in all I was charged roughly around 7,000.00$. The repair for the wiring was quoted at 3,200$ and the radiator they said would be 1,300$ Wich I have no problem paying for. I really do disagree with having to pay for repairs and parts that did not solve the problem that I initially brought my vehicle in for especially when they said it would rectify the problem. I have spent a lot of money throughout the years with repairs on my other vehicles and even bought several vehicles from them, but after this they have lost my business. And yes I will still purchase more Ford vehicles. Just not at a dealership like this that just pushes parts to the customer until the problem is fixed. Oh yes, they did give me discounts on the repairs that didn't do the fix, but I still had to pay for those things that didn't work even with the discount. read more

Engine Check Light came on late Friday night. Had to slowly drive and drop my truck off at Raceway Ford. I called early on Saturday morning, and they had all ready started checking on the problem. They came to find something wrong with throttle body. Alan Leno called me at 9 AM with a reasonable estimate, and the part they had in stock. The work was complete by noon, and under the estimate received. Yup the got my 5 stars. They also found 2 recalls, and if I could leave my truck till Monday, they can take care of it. Otherwise make an appointment and it could be done in a few hours. Can not expect more that good kind service, final price under the expected, and getting this all done on a Saturday to boot. Yes I will be returning to see Alan to get the recalls complete on my next trip out with some spare time. Being treated kindly and taking care of my problem goes a long way. read more

Last week my wife and I were looking for a 2018 Ford F-150 Limited in white platinum. We spoke to the sales manager at Auto Nation Ford in Huntington Beach who told me the truck doesn't exist and tried to sell me a used truck on the lot. I had a similar experience with Ford of Orange and Tuttle Click Ford in Irvine. When I found the exact truck I was looking for at Raceway Ford, I reached out to them by email. Within three hours and 6 to 8 emails later, Steve Overton and Lisa Garcia gave me all of the offered incentives without a fuss or even asking. My wife and I were absolutely ecstatic with the friendliness and honest business practice that made this one of the two best car buying experiences I have ever encountered. I drove out there from Huntington Beach on Friday, and spent 1.5 hours completing the paper work while the vehicle was cleaned, detailed and fueled to full. I was home by 3:30 PM during holiday weekend traffic. Very grateful "Thank You" to Dawn, Steve, Lisa and Mark. I am particular and can be a pain in the butt because of it, but you guys were great. I give you authority to remove my personal info from my deal and show the transaction details to anyone. It's real and you were great. Check out my new truck. I love it. read more

2017 FRAUD REPORT: My idle was high on my F150, so I took it to Raceway Ford. Javier Fernandez was my service rep. After a $130 service fee he tells me that my PCM (Truck's Computer) needs to be replaced. The charge will be $1,300 for the part and $500 for the service, over $1800 plus tax. I didn't trust what he was telling me so I took my truck to... REDLANDS AUTO ELECTRIC. THEY FIXED MY TRUCK FOR $100. read more

The service department here is terrible!! They had my truck for 3 weeks and said they couldn't find the issue. They said they did a few test drives and called the ford tech line and were advised ford is aware of this issue but they can't resolve it because they don't know what the problem is. When they gave my truck back to me the document showed they didn't put any miles on it but looking at the intake form compared to the current miles on the truck there was a 700 mile discrepancy!!! Calling them to talk to a manager is like pulling teeth. I even left a voice mail for the GM do you think I got a call back from him (OF COURSE NOT)!! When the service manager finally called me back all he could say was I can't find the original intake form when I find it I'll call you back with an update as it may be an error with how it was put in the system. It's already been over a week and still no update!!! After picking up my truck I took it over to Fritts Ford guess what, they found the problem the same day I dropped it off. Ordered parts and I picked 2 days later. Sounds to me like Raceway Ford is just lazy!!!! I will never take my vehicle back to Raceway Ford!!!! read more

Having to call multiple dealership's parts department this morning for parts seemed to be an impossible task this morning. I cannot fathom the amount of lazy people that aren't willing to put any extra effort into helping a customer with parts. I mean it's only their jobs to do so right?? Having called Hemborg, Sunrise, and Fritts I thought to myself how can this be? But failure is never an option for me. Determined to find a dealership with hard working people finally paid off. I called Raceway Ford and met Chris Vogt their parts Guru. He took the time to gather the list of parts that seemed impossible for other people to get. He also crossed referenced my parts list just to make sure that he had me squared away. That's what I call attention to detail. Being an Army veteran I can appreciate the hard work and this man's dedication to his work. Raceway is around 20 miles away from where I live, but for service like this I'll drive there often from now on. The other dealerships need to take note of how customer service pays off when I'm paying over $1,400 in parts. Hard workers like Chris get the job done in one call. Needless to say it was pretty sad that the other Ford Dealerships couldn't measure up to customer service that counts. I'd like to thank Chris and his team at Raceway Ford for this pleasure of an experience and I'll definitely be coming back. Check out Raceway Ford for all your parts and needs. This dealership has done very little to help me. My catalytic converter went out on my 2015 Ford F2 50 and I was only a month and a half out of my warranty for my five year or my 100,000 mile. I was under 100,000 warranty by 6000 miles. I called Ford directly and they filed the claim To see if they could help me out because these vehicles should standby they're built Ford tough motto, and not go out right over the five year marker. Ford told me to follow up with Raceway Ford. I spoke to Dan, the service manager there and he wanted to know about my customer Loyalty, which I only had a few services there on my truck but I Also specified that I had bought my wife's Ford explore And we get her oil changes and all of her service done at Fritts Ford, so we do have a relationship and loyalty to Frits ford. I went over a week and the service manager Dan said they would either contact me or forward directly would contact me. It has been over two weeks now and I still haven't got a response so I called Ford directly and they told me that they already resolved the issue with Raceway Ford . I called Raceway Ford and they didn't know anything about it. Took my wife's F150 to Raceway Ford for service. They gave it back to me with a screw in the side wall of the brand new rear driver side tire. Truck sat in my driveway for 5 weeks before going straight onto a flatbed and straight to Raceway Ford. Neither myself, nor the tow truck driver noticed a huge screw sticking out of the side of the tire while we had our hands all over it getting it up on the truck because it simply wasn't there at the time. Told me they weren't willing to do anything about it even if it did occur on their watch. Not the most moral polices or attitudes in play at this dealership... I was always apprehensive about looking for a vehicle at a dealer. You always expect to go in with all defenses up, ready to haggle. I had to trade in a Toyota yaris and I didn't think I would get much for it because dealers are notorious for not wanting to give you a fair amount for your vehicle. That was not the case at Raceway Ford. I scheduled a meeting with Clifford Arthur and he had all three vehicles we were interested in waiting out front to test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars and was interested in our family's needs with a newborn. He was dealing with another customer at the same time as us, but was able to give both guests ample attention and we never felt like we were waiting for long. The financing was incredible. There were so many discounts and credits with Raceway that even though I was upsidedown on my trade in, it was completely negated. Thank you Shanna!! shanna, shanna, shanna..... (chanting) I would like to thank Shanna, Shanna works at the Raceway ford parts department. when i approach the parts department Shanna asked me if she can helped me with anything. I told her that i was looking for a Fuel line sensor for my 2005 F350 truck yeaaa. i love this truck lol. I also mentioned that i was not having any luck in finding this part! shanna began to work on her computer looking up my truck model year, and Vin# and thought me all these technical questions about my truck in a very well professional manner. I remember Shanna kept telling me, don't worry i will find that part! i had to go back to work from lunch and left my Cell# with her. I saw the commitment and the confidence in her. I left the dealer feeling real good because of her commitment, confidence, and her professionalism. Than i get a message from Shanna and what i remember is that first three words lol " I FOUND IT" literally those three words broke a smile from ear to the other ear. honestly i was really stressing because i had like a week if not less to fix the check engine light which the Fuel sensor was causing to renew the registration for the truck. So i can't say these words enough, Shanna pulled through for me and for that Shanna and Raceway Ford has earned my business. Going forward i will be taking my truck to RACEWAY Ford for all my Maintenance BTW this truck was my father's truck he passed away last year and i inherited the truck so yeah i am gonna take good care of it. Do not get serviced at this location! I towed my Ford Focus to this site on July 25 because it kept shutting off while driving. I was told it wouldn't be looked at until the 26th because their techs were busy. I understood and left it there. On the 26th I was told it had been fixed so I paid and picked it up. On the 28th, my car shut off again meaning the issue had never been fixed. Since it was after the service department closed, I waited until the 29th to tow my car there. I was again told my car wouldn't be looked at until August 1 and that I was going to be charged for another diagnostic despite the issue never being fixed. It is now August 25 and I still don't have my car back. Whenever I would call, I would get vague answers and extended times on when my car would be fixed. I figured I was purposely being treated like an annoying woman and asked a male family member to call for me. Lo and behold he was able to get more information in one day than I did in weeks. They admitted to calling an 800 number to figure out what the issue was. They have replaced 3 parts at this point and still don't know if it will fix anything. On August 23, I was told the last part needed had came in and a tech was going to install it. I called later that day twice for an update and got a voicemail both times. Yesterday I received a call saying the exact same thing but this time that the tech wouldn't be able to work on my car until today August 25. Despite feeling like my car should be priority for how long it's been in their shop, I have tried to be patient but at this point I'm incredibly frustrated. I need my property back and I'm disappointed at the level of unprofessionalism. They can't even guarantee me that this new part will fix my car! This review is specifically for the service dept. I had a check engine light come on in my 2018 Mustang GT and reached out to Jim to get it addressed. Jim asked me a few questions including whether the car is acting "normal" and I told him that it is and there's nothing unusual going on besides the light itself. He, then, gave me the soonest available appointment date which was only 2 days away (I was honestly thinking I'd be looking at 2 weeks because that's what the dealer by my house always told me with my previous car). I told him it works for me and I would bring the vehicle in early morning. I got there exactly at opening time and, again, spoke with Jim who had me sign the usual paperwork and asked me if I needed a ride anywhere. I told him I wanted to wait to see what it is so I stuck around. I got a call an hour and 15 minutes later (the dealer by my house normally took twice as long just to do an oil change on my old Focus ST) and Jim told me the car was ready. What a nice surprise! Best part, after they reprogrammed the ECU/PCM the transmission feels much smoother shifting. If I'm in the area again, this dealership is definitely going to be my go-to place for service read more
