Worst experience at a dealer and have never been treated so poorly. Upon entering the dealer, I noted that I was the only customer there. I walked around looking at cars and was approached by a salesman who asked if I was in a hurry to buy, I said no and I have time, so he said "look around" and walked away. He returned later to ask if I found something and I said yes, but it's used with 40k miles and 3k off the purchase price of a brand new one. He said "you should go buy a new one then" and walked away. Too bad, as they may have lost a sale. As I've purchased 5 cars there before, they certainly have lost a long-term customer Update to add service: I recently brought my truck in for warranty work and added tire rotation to the bill. I had to pick it up before work was completed because a part had to be ordered, which happens on occasion. I drop it back off a few weeks later when the part arrives and they told me the rotation was done on the 1st visit, which wasn't true. They said that they will do it that day, which was fine. I was in a hurry to pick up the truck and didn't check the tires until I got back to work. I noticed the front tires still had cupping and were crowned, so I checked my tire markings. Yes, I mark everything before I have it replaced or serviced. Anyway, the tires were in the same location they were in before the 1st visit! Nothing was done to them. I'm not sure what is going on there, but it appears as though customer service is failing on all levels. read more

I used to have a five star rating for this business but they have convinced me otherwise this past month. It started when I took my mustang gt to them for issues I was having with the transmission. They ended up installing a new 10 speed automatic transmission and Lucas kept me updated throughout the entire process. After I picked up my car the first time this is where the issues began. On the second day of having it I noticed it was leaking transmission fluid. I texted Lucas and he told me to take it in asap. I dropped it off and after they inspected it and cleaned it he said there was no leak that they found. When I got home I jacked up the car on my lift to take a look to see if it was cleaned and it was but I also noticed all they did was tighten the bolts more for the oil pan. Next day when I got home from work I noticed there was a new puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway. I gave them a call and Alan was the one to help me now. At first he seemed like a good guy but I was wrong. They had to "fix" this issue three more times. Every single time I would call Alan for an update he would say I tried calling you but you didn't answer or oh I'm sorry we have your number wrong. He would then supposedly fix my phone number while I was on the phone with him so it won't happen again. Unlucky for me I had to take back my car three more times so I called him more. Apparently this guy has a bad memory because he couldn't remember he already used these lines on me. I swear he sounded like a parakeet every time I would call for an update. The last time I called to tell him the issue is still happening he said they will send a tow truck and we scheduled it for the following morning. I had to call him in the afternoon and remind him. Now my car is done for what I'm hoping for is the final time. So with them having my car for over a month in total I thought I could probably get a discount on a set of rear tires for my mustang especially considering transmission fluid is highly flammable and my car was smoking like crazy all three times. So with that in mind I called Alan to see if I can get some type of discount and he says no. I ask if he can at least ask a manager and he said again no. I was just looking for a discount considering my car could have caught on fire and not being able to use my car for a month so I wasted a monthly payment on it. I will be reporting them to ford and the better business bureau. Looks like good customer service is rare these days. I now have to order the new mustang coming out from sunrise ford which is further from my house. read more

Went for an oil change, what a waste of 2 hours of my time and the guy that was supposed to work on my truck didn't even know I was there. These place don't care about customers, there was 5 of us there, 4 were there already when I got there, when I approached the counter, after 2 hours, guys said they were working on my truck already, I was looking at my truck parked outside. Terrible service! Took my Ford Explorer there for a 30K miles maintenance and for a couple of recalls requiring work done. Service writer was not interested in addressing the factory recalls, gave me wrong answers and was unwilling to even listen to my arguments. Judging by how bad my first experience with this dealership had started I decided to take my business elsewhere and that is what I did. Reporting this to management by messaging them via their website I have not received any response in more than two weeks. We buy a lot of cars and the experience at Raceway Ford was very good. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and customer service oriented. Our salesman was Juan. The manager was Eric. In the Parts Department, Chris helped us out and AJ in Finance was also very friendly. The entire process was very pleasant. Although I'm not a fan of the dealer mark up on the Mach e, every dealer is doing that so at least we had a good car buying experience. Horrible dealership!!! They broke my windshield during a simple oil change and refused to pay for it!!! They overcharged my mom for service too! $300 for a new battery!!! This is a classic example of a big car dealership. I had a very bad experience trying to buy a new car here years ago, I'm not going to go into details as lots of things could have changed since 2001, but it does color my views of this place. Recently I did get my trucks brakes done here, and the only reason was a good coupon I had. Even then the experience was only barely tolerable... The staff are rude, and lie... lucky for me I'm not stupid when it comes to vehicle maintenance, so I know what I need and what I don't, and when mechanics are telling me the truth and when they are lying to my face. They really don't like being called on it. So it's unfortunately pretty standard stuff for a big dealership. If you are looking for good big dealership, then Fritz Ford in Riverside is much better, if you care looking for small town feel dealership, then Redlands Ford is a good bet. Horrible service experience. Took my 2012 Ford Fiesta for a problem with shifting into reverse. It would crunch every time. After waiting for over 3 hours, they came to tell me there was no problem. They said, "Make sure you stop first before you shift into reverse." No shit, Sherlock. Months passed and I decided to take my car to another dealership in Los Angeles. Within minutes, I was given a voucher for free food, a rental car, and they told me this is a known problem and will fix it immediately. Crazy. They worked on my car for a week to get it fixed. Terrible service!!! I went to look at a used car on Saturday and was told that they would be looking for a bank to finance me. It took them over 28 hours to call me back saying that I was approved. They had told me to come in on Monday morning so I could come get the car. When I waked in they said "Its a done deal. Now we're going to go look around and see which car you like. " umm excuse me? I thought I had already picked the car I liked? Then they tell me that the car I wanted was sold Sunday night. They wasted two days and then expect me to get a different car, I think not. [Name Removed] wanted me to make a deal on your vehicle WITHOUT looking at the inside... WITHOUT test driving. You've got to be kidding me. Are you a car rental or a dealership? SAFETY & QUALITY ALERT: RACEWAY FORD I bought a Ford Explorer less than a year and a half ago, and I was excited to the the car that I have always wanted. I am a working mother and use my car to travel to locations and sometimes at night for business. I have been experiencing major quality defects with my vehicle. It makes me so sad because I have been a ford owner since I began driving. The weather stripping on my drivers side door and the rear are coming up when asked to fixed by service I was told out of warranty and the price tag was over $300 because I would have to replace it for the entire vehicle. The floor board carpeting pulls away from the panel exposing the padding fibers. The most severe safety issue in the short time I have owned this SUV is the door handle and the key lock component fall off the exterior driver door. The door will physically not close and forces me to try and attempt to put the components back on so I can safely operate the vehicle. I have been stranded leaving the work place parking lot while trying to fix so my door can close so I can attempt to close the door and get home to my family safely. The door paneling inside near the window is separating from the body of the door and it looks terrible. When reaching out to Raceway Ford to inquire about the quality issues of this vehicle for only one and a half years ownership and wanted to know what I can do to voice my concerns and that I have never had any vehicle throughout their life cycle ever present quality issues in such a short period time of ownership or this type of safety issue of the door not closing ever and that I needed help!!! I pleaded with service rep to help me with options to help me resolve and get at least the door fixed for safety. I was told by the service representative that it was out of warranty, and not to make threats about speaking up about the quality, he continued to say that they were too busy today, closed tomorrow and advised me to take my vehicle somewhere else and it was not their problem. Raceway Ford service did not attempt to assist me not even help to contact ford manufacturing about the quality nor did it care that I have been a Ford customer. Buy a different brand or go to a different dealership. DO NOT GO TO RACEWAY FORD! All I would want is to get the severe safety issues fixed I am not asking any more or any less. I have no choice but to pay out of pocket to fix these quality issues. I will never buy ford again. You lost a lifetime customer. read more

They worked very hard to get me a good financing deal, but can't say the same for getting a better overall price of the car, I really had to push to get passed the monthly payments talk and to final sale price. Also, they gave me the car with a nearly empty tank saying they are not allowed to put gas in used cars. Additionally only got one key, kind of understandable for a used car, but would have been nice to throw a second key in as part of the deal. read more

I have purchased 3 vehicles from raceway. I'm not happy with their service department at . I took in my Ford Edge for a recall and asked them to fix my tire sensor problem. They had my car all day and then told me they didn't have the part for my tire sensor to come back and they were going to charge me for the tire sensor even though I have a extended warranty bumper to bumper. So now I have my new truck with 14,000 miles on it throwing a code miss fire in cylinder. They have had it over a week no replacement vehicle for us not sure when it will be fixed. Oh they did give my husband a lift ride home that's more than I got . And come to find out on my edge that I took in for recall and tire sensor replacement they did have my part but an error was made in their inventory. so if you need repairs on your vehicle I advice you to go to another dealer. A few months earlier I had gone to Fritz Ford because I had bought my last Ford there and figured last time was an ok experience and I like to give repeat business when I can. We talked and due to the need to trade my upside down vehicle, we just were not able to make it work, they were low balling my trade so bad, I knew something was not right. So, after a few months I figured why not see what another Ford dealer would do with my trade, I really wanted the Fusion Energy, so I can car pool solo and plug in at home and work and save on the gas when fighting the 91 every day! I went online did the whole trade est on Fords web site and it came back $2-4K higher than what Fritz absolute best offer was last time I went in! The web site referred me to Raceway and I called and spoke to Josh, we agreed to meet the following day. I met with Josh and eventually his Sales Manager Jose Rodriguez, whom, told me he was going to work very hard to earn my business and get me a fair honest deal. Long story, short, we came very close, but not quite I figured it was a good time to go back to Fritz, so I planned to go back the next day, Easter was probably a slow car sales day and I figured it was not a bad day to see if they had the color I wanted. After a very bad experience with the Sales manager, he's the big guy that drives a Fusion, not wanting to sell me a car and telling me he didn't want to insult me with the best offer he can do. He even told me that Raceway was lying and they were not going to do anything better than he could do because they were a smaller dealer. Well, Monday morning I got a call from Josh, he said he was able to meet my terms and would have the paperwork ready when I was ready to stop by and he assured me that he and Ben had worked hard and was happy they could make it work. When I showed up, sure enough Angel in Finance had my paperwork ready and he even found something that improved my lease verses what i was told on the phone! I have purchased two vehicles from this location. The actual sales process is fine. I dealt with Steve Overton my first go around back in 2016, who was awesome! When I went back a few weeks ago, I asked for Steve who was not there, totally fine, I got Jarod Guyumjian, a great guy who had just started working there. I ended up buying a 2019 Ford Ecosport on a Sunday just about 3 weeks ago. Low and behold, I get home with my new vehicle and notice I did not receive an owners manual. That Monday, I received a call from Steve, asking how my experience was the day before since he was not there to help me. I thought that was amazing, I told Steve that I did not get the owners manual, he assured me that he would tell Jarod. Moments later I got a call from Jarod, he confirmed that he remembered not seeing the owners manual in the car, and assured me he would order one and give me a call once they got it. Now about a month later, I still don't have the owners manual. I have to call over and over again. Jarod is never around when I call, so I get transferred to someone else who has no idea what's going on, but they assure me they will order the manual and that I will get a call when it's ready to be picked up. Days go by with no call. I have asked for Mark (sales manager) and have gotten no response. I did have a light go on last weekend and did not know what it meant, would have been nice to have the owners manual in my glove compartment. This does come off as bitching just about an Owners Manuel when google exists but having to reach out again and again for something that should have been in my brand new car is utterly ridiculous. read more

I'll begin this by saying that I believe credit is due when and where it is due. In other words, I don't take this matter lightly. In this case, the Sales Department is lacking in several areas; I'll discuss further in a moment. I'll also add that a large part of this review is my personal reflection over the course of two encounters, regarding the purchase of a performance vehicle during the COVID-19 shutdown. Item#1: Laxidasicial attitudes - This is the first dealership where I've had to seek out a salesperson. The first day, I walked the lot for five to ten minutes then wandered inside to find everyone sitting at their desks. I grant you that this was at about 4:00 pm, two hours before close, but in my eyes, if I'm (literally) the only customer you have, that's enough time to get things rolling. The second day, I sat on the tailgate of my truck, waiting for someone to engage me. After a group of managers walked past, someone finally asked if I'd been helped. Item#2: When I indicated that I was a government employee, with a stable paycheck and willing to negotiate either a trade-in or cash-up-front, I was met with... shall we say, little more than a scoff? When I returned the next day, mentioning that I'd be willing to lease the vehicle, I audible HEARD the sales managers talking about me, saying, "Don't offer him that," and "No - That's the bottom line." Once again, I was the ONLY customer on the sales floor. Also, when it's quiet, the acoustics within the semicircular glass showroom is perfect to hear everything, if you're near the apex of the wall/windows (or corners). Item#3: Online inventory review from RacewayFord.com indicated that the particular stock number (20X***) I had selected was in already preselected by the manufacturer for $1500 "Ford Retail Credit Bonus Cash", $750 "Retail Customer Cash" and because I am a paramedic, $500" Ford Military Appreciation/First Responder Credit. None of this was offered during the sale negotiation, the first day. NONE OF IT! (It was not applicable the second day when we discussed a lease option.) I knew I would qualify for a generous APR on Ford Motor Credit, due to my credit history and verifiable income, but out-of-the-gate, I had already done my research and knew what the retail suggested price ($27,210.00) was going to be. When I was quoted (without a trade) at 31K, without a seconds hesitation to introduce the incentive program into the mix, I got the sneaking suspicion that they just didn't want to sell a car that day... Item#4: Directly by a door is the employee smoking area, which opens into the salesfloor. Two employees, one of whom was from parts, were taking their smoke breaks within the direct line-of-sight of the customer. I've no opinion on smoking, but perhaps for the brand imagery, this should be a concern for management. Perhaps a lot of this should be a concern for management. Item# 5: Maybe it was close to closing time - maybe it was just the back-office managers, but when the statement, "Looks like you're sleeping here tonight [salesman]," was introduced into the open conversation - my spidey senses got a little more intense. Sales staff are people - junior or not. I prefer not to support organizations who harass (jokingly or otherwise) their staff members. It's a matter of professionalism. Summary: I returned the next day, thinking that a good night's rest and some time to reflect would produce a better result. It didn't. Instead, I was passed off to another salesman, who openly asked me questions like, "How are you going to pay for the down payment today? Cash? Credit Card? Well, what TYPE of credit card?" (Does that matter? Liability is incurred between the cardholder and card-provider, not the individual merchant when it comes to credit cards. Call that strike one.) "It's gonna be a minute - they're having to rework some stuff." (Excuse me? I was already in the system and approved. There's nothing to rework with Ford Financial. Strike two.) And finally, when I stood up and told him to call me when he got the numbers, he asked, "Where are YOU going? I'm not going to call YOU." (Cool bro... don't call me. Strike three - I'm out.) This leads me to ask, why was I treated this way? Is it because I'm a single father? Perhaps it's because I'm a veteran, in my thirties, or worse, was this a racial matter? I can't help but think that all of this boils down to the fact that, because I walked in with a beat-up truck, my son, and wearing gym shorts, it was apparent to the sales staff that I don't, "look like I can afford" the vehicle I intended to buy.
