This is a classic example of a big car dealership. I had a very bad experience trying to buy a new car here years ago, I'm not going to go into details as lots of things could have changed since 2001, but it does color my views of this place. Recently I did get my trucks brakes done here, and the only reason was a good coupon I had. Even then the experience was only barely tolerable... The staff are rude, and lie... lucky for me I'm not stupid when it comes to vehicle maintenance, so I know what I need and what I don't, and when mechanics are telling me the truth and when they are lying to my face. They really don't like being called on it. So it's unfortunately pretty standard stuff for a big dealership. If you are looking for good big dealership, then Fritz Ford in Riverside is much better, if you care looking for small town feel dealership, then Redlands Ford is a good bet. Both are close to Raceway, and both are so much better. read more

Horrible service experience. Took my 2012 Ford Fiesta for a problem with shifting into reverse. It would crunch every time. After waiting for over 3 hours, they came to tell me there was no problem. They said, "Make sure you stop first before you shift into reverse." No shit, Sherlock. Months passed and I decided to take my car to another dealership in Los Angeles. Within minutes, I was given a voucher for free food, a rental car, and they told me this is a known problem and will fix it immediately. Crazy. They worked on my car for a week to get it fixed. Raceway was just lazy! read more

WARNING to everyone this dealership has the most horrible credibility i purchased a car without being safety proof. The check engine turn on the next day. Took it for repair and they refuse to honor the contract agreement. They finally end up canceling the approved loan and talk crap to the bank to diminish my character so that I would not get approved. This has been the most horrible experience in my life. This dealership is dishonest and unethical they do not honor any contract nor honestly. In respond to this man (Gary) who continues to diminish my character. If you believe this is true why did you end up giving me the Car you guys know what you did and it was a dirty deal. Your dealer is back of book. If you keep diminish my character I will personally go in to proof their was no bounce checks. I will be in front of your dealer and start picketing if you continue to talk false accusations. You know what u did Gary you and Jose Rodriguez. read more

Terrible service!!! I went to look at a used car on Saturday and was told that they would be looking for a bank to finance me. It took them over 28 hours to call me back saying that I was approved. They had told me to come in on Monday morning so I could come get the car. When I waked in they said "Its a done deal. Now we're going to go look around and see which car you like. " umm excuse me? I thought I had already picked the car I liked? Then they tell me that the car I wanted was sold Sunday night. They wasted two days and then expect me to get a different car, I think not. Never recommending them to anyone! And if any manager decides that they want to comment on this to try to get me back. Don't bother. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They are shady and lie! Do not waste your time going here. **EDITED to respond to the comment left by Raceway Ford** Gary, Simple word of advice... Wash your vehicles. The vehicle I was looking at which I had previously viewed on your online website and wanted to see in person was filthy. The vehicle looked like it had not been washed in months. Very disappointing. Another vehicle I had seen online and was interested in no one knew where it was. After about 10mins of your sales people searching they had found it. Parked on the side of your dealership away from all other cars. I was told that It was being rented out to the mayor... or was it a lawyer...? I was told both by two different employees and that they did not have the keys to the vehicle but if i wanted to make a deal that night and pick up the keys the next day that they would do that. [Name Removed] wanted me to make a deal on your vehicle WITHOUT looking at the inside... WITHOUT test driving. You've got to be kidding me. Are you a car rental or a dealership? Do not have cars listed for sale if you are renting them out! Does not sound like your employees are being 100% truthful! Also, please make sure your employees are somewhat familiar with your prices posted online. It was annoying to hear your employee say the ticket price when I've clearly done my research online and it was 5 grand price difference. I have found and purchased another car elsewhere, thanks. read more

IF YOU OWN A FORD DO NOT GO HERE unless you want your time wasted... Horrible customer service, they do NOT care about their customers. I have a full time job and they dicked me around for a couples of days and didn't even look at my car when they said they would. Also told me nothing was wrong with my car when they didn't even check for anything I asked for... beyond pissed. read more

Purchased a car today at Raceway Ford. Eric Pryer, Internet Sales Manager treated us fairly, professionally and it was a pleasant experience. We went through the Costco Car Buying Program...I highly recommend it if you're a Costco member. Thanks Eric for helping my daughter get the car she wanted with all the bells and whistles!!! She's ecstatic!!! read more

First experience with the Service department was pretty terrible which made me seek out an alternate dealership. After not having one of my issues addressed at other dealership, I decided to give raceway another chance. Since I have pretty much pinpointed the cause, this time around I decided to print a TSB in hope of expediting the diagnosis and fix. The guy behind the desk didn't even bother looking at the paperwork I brought in with me since it was only a TSB and not recall. Seemed completely uninterested in having my car serviced. His "solution" did not work with my schedule and did not work with me to try and accommodate me. The waitress that took my morning order could have been of more help than the lump behind the desk. Baffles me how someone with that "helpfulness" still has a job in the service department. As much as I love my car I'm seriously considering getting out of my ford. Going to call customer service and see if they can point me in the direction of a dealership willing to do WARRANTY work on my mustang. read more

Came back here a month ago looking for a used car... There was a noticeable customer service improvement as the staff came out and was willing to help and go on a test drive. Also, no paperwork was pushed and there was minimal sales pressure, plus for that! However, this review would've been bumped to 3 stars, but the selection is still pretty slim and the mark-up on the 'special' Mustangs are... well marked up.... I hate seeing stealership mark-up. read more

Found a used car I really liked online, as soon as I showed up they offered a test drive. They worked very hard to get me a good financing deal, but can't say the same for getting a better overall price of the car, I really had to push to get passed the monthly payments talk and to final sale price. Also, they gave me the car with a nearly empty tank saying they are not allowed to put gas in used cars. Additionally only got one key, kind of understandable for a used car, but would have been nice to throw a second key in as part of the deal. read more

Raceway Ford continues to be a place you can depend on. This last time it was for service and I was in and out in literally an hour. Went looking for a good used car with me son-in-law, Jared. He found some cars he liked on Raceway Ford's website so we went to check them out. After test driving several cars, Jared found the one he liked. He was able to work with Steve Overton to come up with a good price and a financial plan that fit my son-in-laws budget. All in all it was a good experience, it was nice to work with a dealership that really cares. Now if I could only work a deal to swap my 1965 classic Mustang in on that beautiful 2013 black Cobra Mustang sitting in the showroom , but that's for another day... I drive a 2013 CMax and the recalls have been non-stop the entire time. Good on Ford for keeping up with these things. I had two additional recalls and scheduled an appointment at Raceway for fixin'. Sarah Majors checked me in and immediately was crisp and together. One thing led to another and some issues arose around modules and software and they had to keep my car much longer than anticipated. Sarah was on it, communicating with me every step of the way, explaining the why and what of things to completion. Sarah was professional, patient, pleasant from beginning to end. And I was cranky right along with her. Raceway...you chose the right person for this job - for sure. Thanks Sarah and Raceway, John Harman read more

Im doing my review different and updating my experience as a move along to a possible purchase. So far I have worked with Rick and Martha (internet sales) who have been very helpful on my inquiry for a truck which they have advertised. They have not been pushy and have respected the fact that my visit may be later in the day. I will update as this moves along and after I take my test drive..... So far 5 stars Update: went in for a test drive and was helped by Manny. Super cool guy with no pressure and he answered all my questions. Still debating if I want the car, but overall, good so far!! Update: the deal I got was good, but not great. So I didn't get the car. However, Manny, Rick, and Martha were all fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Ford. read more

Worst experience at a dealer and have never been treated so poorly. Upon entering the dealer, I noted that I was the only customer there. I walked around looking at cars and was approached by a salesman who asked if I was in a hurry to buy, I said no and I have time, so he said "look around" and walked away. He returned later to ask if I found something and I said yes, but it's used with 40k miles and 3k off the purchase price of a brand new one. He said "you should go buy a new one then" and walked away. Too bad, as they may have lost a sale. As I've purchased 5 cars there before, they certainly have lost a long-term customer Update to add service: I recently brought my truck in for warranty work and added tire rotation to the bill. I had to pick it up before work was completed because a part had to be ordered, which happens on occasion. I drop it back off a few weeks later when the part arrives and they told me the rotation was done on the 1st visit, which wasn't true. They said that they will do it that day, which was fine. I was in a hurry to pick up the truck and didn't check the tires until I got back to work. I noticed the front tires still had cupping and were crowned, so I checked my tire markings. Yes, I mark everything before I have it replaced or serviced. Anyway, the tires were in the same location they were in before the 1st visit! Nothing was done to them. I'm not sure what is going on there, but it appears as though customer service is failing on all levels. read more

I purchased an F150 in January, since I bought it it's been giving me problems, transmission, alarm, stereo and it looks like there's a problem with the suspension, I purchased this truck at FRITTS Ford Riverside, FRITTS checked it and said they found nothing wrong with it, I called the corporate office and they suggested for me to go to another Ford dealer for a second opinion and they sent me to Raceway Ford in Riverside, after they checked my F150 they kept my truck and they did a reset in the transmission and said that the front shocks started leaking, my truck has only 7,000 miles, the truck has spent longer in the dealer then what I've had it... Edwin Garcia from service told me that most likely it's that the manufacturer wouldn't want to change my shocks, because I've had that truck for so little time and it's too new for the manufacturer to approve the shock replacement and he told me he was gonna have the manager call the manufacturer and he called me back saying the same thing, that the manufacturer bad denied for them to replace my shocks, I called the manufacturer to ask them how their warranty works? And does my truck have to fall into pieces so that the warranty is able to be used? And manufacturer said that what Edwin Garcia told me was a lie, the manufacturer placed me on hold and called raceway ford and they denied everything that Edwin Garcia told me, they are big liars!!!.... Now manufacturer told me to go to another dealer and see if what raceway ford told me about my shocks, the transmission and other issues the truck has is true, I suggest for you to think about it twice before purchasing any Ford vehicles, because my experience is that the three different dealers the manufacturer has sent me to, the first thing they say is that I need to go to where I purchased the truck and where I purchased it they claim there's nothing wrong with my truck, also Edwin Garcia told me to not worry about the manufacturer not wanting to replace my shocks, that I still have many miles of warranty, to just keep driving it till my shocks get worse, I can't believe it!! This is my first experience with Ford, and I regret sooo much to have ever stepped foot at a Ford dealer. For my experience the new 10 speed transmission it's not reliable, even the truck a week after I had purchased it started with all the problems, at raceway Ford when I went to drop off the truck I kept hearing people complain about the issues they were having and all I would hear the Ford liars say was "oh how weird, we've never had that problem" liars!!! Don't trust this dealer with your services or warranties, the score in honesty, reliability and anything else is 0 for raceway Ford read more

I had a very good experience with Joshua Duguay and team! A few months earlier I had gone to Fritz Ford because I had bought my last Ford there and figured last time was an ok experience and I like to give repeat business when I can. We talked and due to the need to trade my upside down vehicle, we just were not able to make it work, they were low balling my trade so bad, I knew something was not right. So, after a few months I figured why not see what another Ford dealer would do with my trade, I really wanted the Fusion Energy, so I can car pool solo and plug in at home and work and save on the gas when fighting the 91 every day! I went online did the whole trade est on Fords web site and it came back $2-4K higher than what Fritz absolute best offer was last time I went in! The web site referred me to Raceway and I called and spoke to Josh, we agreed to meet the following day. I met with Josh and eventually his Sales Manager Jose Rodriguez, whom, told me he was going to work very hard to earn my business and get me a fair honest deal. Long story, short, we came very close, but not quite I figured it was a good time to go back to Fritz, so I planned to go back the next day, Easter was probably a slow car sales day and I figured it was not a bad day to see if they had the color I wanted. After a very bad experience with the Sales manager, he's the big guy that drives a Fusion, not wanting to sell me a car and telling me he didn't want to insult me with the best offer he can do. He even told me that Raceway was lying and they were not going to do anything better than he could do because they were a smaller dealer. Well, Monday morning I got a call from Josh, he said he was able to meet my terms and would have the paperwork ready when I was ready to stop by and he assured me that he and Ben had worked hard and was happy they could make it work. When I showed up, sure enough Angel in Finance had my paperwork ready and he even found something that improved my lease verses what i was told on the phone! Not what I was expecting, I figured there was going to "a catch" somewhere during the deal, but, instead it got better! Man, Good Job guys! I will be back. And the Fusion Energy, LOVING IT! read more

Terrible service! Took my Ford Explorer there for a 30K miles maintenance and for a couple of recalls requiring work done. Service writer was not interested in addressing the factory recalls, gave me wrong answers and was unwilling to even listen to my arguments. Judging by how bad my first experience with this dealership had started I decided to take my business elsewhere and that is what I did. Reporting this to management by messaging them via their website I have not received any response in more than two weeks. This business is not customer oriented in my opinion and I encourage new potential customers to consider other Ford dealerships in the Riverside, Ca area. read more

We buy a lot of cars and the experience at Raceway Ford was very good. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and customer service oriented. Our salesman was Juan. The manager was Eric. In the Parts Department, Chris helped us out and AJ in Finance was also very friendly. The entire process was very pleasant. SAFETY & QUALITY ALERT: RACEWAY FORD I bought a Ford Explorer less than a year and a half ago, and I was excited to the the car that I have always wanted. I am a working mother and use my car to travel to locations and sometimes at night for business. I have been experiencing major quality defects with my vehicle. It makes me so sad because I have been a ford owner since I began driving. The weather stripping on my drivers side door and the rear are coming up when asked to fixed by service I was told out of warranty and the price tag was over $300 because I would have to replace it for the entire vehicle. The floor board carpeting pulls away from the panel exposing the padding fibers. The most severe safety issue in the short time I have owned this SUV is the door handle and the key lock component fall off the exterior driver door. The door will physically not close and forces me to try and attempt to put the components back on so I can safely operate the vehicle. I have been stranded leaving the work place parking lot while trying to fix so my door can close so I can attempt to close the door and get home to my family safely. The door paneling inside near the window is separating from the body of the door and it looks terrible. When reaching out to Raceway Ford to inquire about the quality issues of this vehicle for only one and a half years ownership and wanted to know what I can do to voice my concerns and that I have never had any vehicle throughout their life cycle ever present quality issues in such a short period time of ownership or this type of safety issue of the door not closing ever and that I needed help!!! I pleaded with service rep to help me with options to help me resolve and get at least the door fixed for safety. I was told by the service representative that it was out of warranty, and not to make threats about speaking up about the quality, he continued to say that they were too busy today, closed tomorrow and advised me to take my vehicle somewhere else and it was not their problem. Raceway Ford service did not attempt to assist me not even help to contact ford manufacturing about the quality nor did it care that I have been a Ford customer. Buy a different brand or go to a different dealership. DO NOT GO TO RACEWAY FORD! All I would want is to get the severe safety issues fixed I am not asking any more or any less. I have no choice but to pay out of pocket to fix these quality issues. I will never buy ford again. You lost a lifetime customer. read more

I have purchased 3 vehicles from raceway. I'm not happy with their service department at . I took in my Ford Edge for a recall and asked them to fix my tire sensor problem. They had my car all day and then told me they didn't have the part for my tire sensor to come back and they were going to charge me for the tire sensor even though I have a extended warranty bumper to bumper. So now I have my new truck with 14,000 miles on it throwing a code miss fire in cylinder. They have had it over a week no replacement vehicle for us not sure when it will be fixed. Oh they did give my husband a lift ride home that's more than I got . And come to find out on my edge that I took in for recall and tire sensor replacement they did have my part but an error was made in their inventory. so if you need repairs on your vehicle I advice you to go to another dealer. I used to have a five star rating for this business but they have convinced me otherwise this past month. It started when I took my mustang gt to them for issues I was having with the transmission. They ended up installing a new 10 speed automatic transmission and Lucas kept me updated throughout the entire process. After I picked up my car the first time this is where the issues began. On the second day of having it I noticed it was leaking transmission fluid. I texted Lucas and he told me to take it in asap. I dropped it off and after they inspected it and cleaned it he said there was no leak that they found. When I got home I jacked up the car on my lift to take a look to see if it was cleaned and it was but I also noticed all they did was tighten the bolts more for the oil pan. Next day when I got home from work I noticed there was a new puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway. I gave them a call and Alan was the one to help me now. At first he seemed like a good guy but I was wrong. They had to "fix" this issue three more times. Every single time I would call Alan for an update he would say I tried calling you but you didn't answer or oh I'm sorry we have your number wrong. He would then supposedly fix my phone number while I was on the phone with him so it won't happen again. Unlucky for me I had to take back my car three more times so I called him more. Apparently this guy has a bad memory because he couldn't remember he already used these lines on me. I swear he sounded like a parakeet every time I would call for an update. The last time I called to tell him the issue is still happening he said they will send a tow truck and we scheduled it for the following morning. I had to call him in the afternoon and remind him. Now my car is done for what I'm hoping for is the final time. So with them having my car for over a month in total I thought I could probably get a discount on a set of rear tires for my mustang especially considering transmission fluid is highly flammable and my car was smoking like crazy all three times. So with that in mind I called Alan to see if I can get some type of discount and he says no. I ask if he can at least ask a manager and he said again no. I was just looking for a discount considering my car could have caught on fire and not being able to use my car for a month so I wasted a monthly payment on it. I will be reporting them to ford and the better business bureau. Looks like good customer service is rare these days. I now have to order the new mustang coming out from sunrise ford which is further from my house. read more

I have purchased two vehicles from this location. The actual sales process is fine. I dealt with Steve Overton my first go around back in 2016, who was awesome! When I went back a few weeks ago, I asked for Steve who was not there, totally fine, I got Jarod Guyumjian, a great guy who had just started working there. I ended up buying a 2019 Ford Ecosport on a Sunday just about 3 weeks ago. Low and behold, I get home with my new vehicle and notice I did not receive an owners manual. That Monday, I received a call from Steve, asking how my experience was the day before since he was not there to help me. I thought that was amazing, I told Steve that I did not get the owners manual, he assured me that he would tell Jarod. Moments later I got a call from Jarod, he confirmed that he remembered not seeing the owners manual in the car, and assured me he would order one and give me a call once they got it. Now about a month later, I still don't have the owners manual. I have to call over and over again. Jarod is never around when I call, so I get transferred to someone else who has no idea what's going on, but they assure me they will order the manual and that I will get a call when it's ready to be picked up. Days go by with no call. I have asked for Mark (sales manager) and have gotten no response. I did have a light go on last weekend and did not know what it meant, would have been nice to have the owners manual in my glove compartment. This does come off as bitching just about an Owners Manuel when google exists but having to reach out again and again for something that should have been in my brand new car is utterly ridiculous. read more
