I was in the market for a used Ford Ranger and reached out to Raceway Ford to schedule a test drive. I spoke with David, one of the salesmen, and he was excellent. He was very responsive and informative, answering all my questions about the truck. During my first visit, I took the Ranger for a test drive and found it to be well-maintained. David did a great job explaining everything about the vehicle. I returned for a second test drive with my wife so she could also see and experience the truck. We decided to move forward with the purchase and picked it up the next day. Everything was ready when we arrived. David was great to talk to and not just about the truck, but other topics as well. I did a full inspection of the vehicle, from the engine to underneath the frame, and everything checked out. While I know David is a salesman, he came across as genuine and relatable. Everyone I interacted with at Raceway Ford was helpful and courteous. If I'm ever in the market for another truck, Raceway Ford will be my first stop. I highly recommend them.

gBroken Temp sensor wire

A bit long but worth the read I went to start my 2016 Ford Edge and it would not start. After troubleshooting (I have rebuilt many cars, Trucks, and Harleys), I found a short in the wiring going to the Temp sensor for the coolant. Not something a gear head like me can replace because of the reprogramming needed. Towed it to Raceway Ford. Charged a $250 fee to troubleshoot. It used to be this would them be deducted from the cost of the repair if you did it with them. Not any longer. Not only that but they called later and wanted another $850 because the intake manifold had to be removed to inspect the temp sensor. After some back and forth it was reduced to $550, still way to high but I had no choice. Next day they called and told me the wire to the temp sensor had been chewed by some animal. They wanted $2,000 for the repair. I asked why it was so much and was told it requires 3 hours of repair. I also asked if that included the $550 for the "Inspection" and was told yes. I again had no choice so gave the go ahead. ONE hour later I got a call saying it was ready. Went to pick it up only to find the bill was $2600. He insisted that he told me $2600 on the phone. My Adult Daughter was in the car when I took the call and She assured me he said $2000. Again had to pay it. While this was going on I tried to register my truck for the year and could not because it had an emissions recall. It was just reprogramming so Raceway said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. When the Tech came out, and after 45 minutes he told me he could not get the computer to accept the Raceway License for the software needed from Ford. He had to go back and get it "figured out". 4 days later he returned and tried again. This time the scanner that interfaced with the car and computer did not work. Had to go back and change scanners. 5 days later he returned and was able to reprogram the truck. Problem solved right, not a chance. I still could not register the truck because Raceway had not entered the code that my truck produced when it was reprogramed. 2 days later the tech once again had to come out to get the code. It took 4 days after that before it showed up at the DMV. By then I had gone past the due date and they wanted to charge the late fee. After several emails and documentation, I was allowed to pay the regular fee. We have used Raceway exclusively for over 2 decades. Myself and my extended family have purchased 11 cars from them. The last one about a year and a half ago. This last week I had a Granddaughter turn "Sweet 16" and we gave her a car. It was a Mustang purchased from Ken Grody Ford. Great deal and amazing customer service. I hope the $2600 was worth the loss of a sale this last week and all the sales from here on. Not sure what happened there but post if you have had similar problems.

Highly recommended by a friend, Bill Chamberlain. As we had just been just looking around. Contacted Erik Pryor and he set it up with Brandon (sales person). Arrived and was greeted by Brandon. We explained what we were looking at and what our plans were for what we were doing. He had 2 versions and he went and brought them to us. We went over both and decided to drive the white one. Did our drive and decided to purchase. Brandon gave us multiple ways to go. He made us feel comfortable and not pressured. After going over the options we agreed on the vehicle pricing and terms. We then sat down with the F&I person which also made us feel great. The whole experience of dealing with Brandon and fiance dept. went so we'll and smooth had made us happy with our decision to but at that moment instead of going elsewhere. Also, we arrived with our credit paperwork from Altura Bank, 4.99 interest rate ( our credit score is 875... only to be told they were quoted a higher rate-so, they chose BofA at the rate of 7.7%.... Hmmmm.. bait and switch... we gave them quite a chunk of change as a down payment. I then returned to my credit union "Altura" who confirmed , they definitely had lowered rates... Buyer beware... we are retired law enforcement and will post on our retirement social media account ref this incident as well... Also, another minus 10 stars for not monitoring social media and reaching out to us... DO BETTER RACEWAY FORD!!!!

Dirty engine filter vs clean filter

The first time I went to this location I had a much better experience than this. However, charging a patron for services you did not provide is very illegal and very sad. Word of advice for anyone getting service on your vehicle do small things like marking your tires with a marker or changing your filters with dirty filters to make sure they do their due diligence during their inspections. Went to this location for their works service package where they offer an oil change, filter check, tire rotation and balance, in addition to a battery check oil top off and other items. I was told on Saturdays they don't offer an appointment it is first come first serve. Which is different than every other for location I have been there. I showed up at 8:30 and I was there for almost 3 hours to get my car served. To wait that long you would think I would have got excellent service. They have a camera in the shop and I could watch them literally just sit with the hood open on the car and not see anyone actively looking at my vehicle. Mind you I mentioned to them I was going on a road trip so it was important my car was inspected. I knew everything was wrong when I went to check on my vehicle he was ready to charge me with no vehicle report in had. Every time you go to Ford, you get a vehicle report from who inspected you car. He did not have one first red flag. Second I ask hey any things to report on my vehicle. No nothing at all its in great condition. Second red flag. Last I ask for my inspection and he says they don't have one. He says he will email it to me. At this point including the fact that I was a able to watch the "service" they provided which was just an oil change and maybe a top off , I should have asked for a manager. Instead I spoke with him more to let him dig a bigger whole. And asked him more follow up questions based on my last check up. Needless to say I don't believe they did a tire change and I know for a fact they never looked at my filters or windshield wiper blades which I desperately needed. Word to the wise make sure you inspect your car and view it before you take it in so you have proof of missing service.

Gavin and Lisa did an exceptional job to get me more than what I asked for. Great service, great price, great truck. Thank you.

The work was done above and beyond what was needed based on the warranty and ready by noon for pick up. My vehicle is driving great. Dealerships can get a bad rep when it comes to servicing your car, but after my experience at this location, I am very pleased.

He never got back to me. I had to text him for an update and this man named Jason responded. He was so passive aggressive with his responses , I didn't even bother to move forward with any sale. He didn't care to assist/direct me to something that may be better fit. He had nothing but flat responses. He claimed to be a manager, I can't imagine a person like that as a manager, he ran me out. Ultimately, the short experience I had with this dealership was bad enough. As I shop for a new vehicle, I was able to meet and speak with other salesman from other locations and they were way more helpful.

Our son asked us to meet him at Riverside Toyota to help purchase his first car, a used Corolla. After a long wait and two other salesmen, we were finally assigned to Emilio. We test drove the car and agreed to discuss terms. Before running credit, the sales manager offered a 12.99% interest rate, which was extremely high. We explained another dealership had already offered a much lower rate at 6%. They agreed to match the 6% with approved credit but snuck in a $5,000 car alarm that appeared only in tiny print. We demanded the alarm be removed and agreed to let them run a credit check at 6%. They then requested pay stubs, bank statements, proof of insurance, and W2s, which we found unusual. While credit was being run, my husband went to the restroom. During that time, Emilio motioned our son into a back office without explanation. When my son did not return, we went looking for him and discovered they were having him sign paperwork he believed was for the credit check, not a purchase contract. No explanation to what he was signing, and he was not told he was signing final documents. Temporary tags had already been printed. No final terms had been agreed to or presented to us after the credit check. They completely took advantage of our son's lack of experience. The finance person later claimed they had secured 4.99% financing, but refused to show paperwork, and would not show what had been added. We asked three separate times to see the paperwork and were refused each time. The price of the car did not go down, yet the payment stayed exactly the same as what we had discussed at the higher 6% rate. We clearly stated that we were no longer buying the car due to this and that the deal was not binding since the vehicle never left the dealership. We asked that all paperwork be shredded and our information removed from their system. They hesitated and continued to pressure us to finish the deal, even after we asked to speak to a manager. We had to firmly and repeatedly demand that all paperwork be shredded and all information removed. Clearly, making money is more important than customer satisfaction at this dealership.

Days later was told the car was wrecked in transport. Farass said they would refund the $1k and rewind the deal/paperwork. 10 days later no refund. Contacted Arar in finance who said Farass never told him about the refund or deal rewind. Asked me for my credit card info to refund the $1k. Send me a dealership "receipt" showing he refunded the $1k. Checked my credit card and see an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for $1k. Arar says the dealership "receipt" says refund so it is a refund not a charge. I showed Arar the proof of the CHARGE, not refund. and Arar insisted it is actually a refund because his dealership paperwork says so and told me to file any legal complaint i want to. Bottom line, i have no new car, and they now have $2k that belongs to me. insisting they don't have any money of mine. BEWARE!!!! FRAUD!!! 4/28/26 RESPONSE TO RICHARD: I did speak with you about this situation BEFORE i posted about my experience. I explained to you the double negative on my account. You insisted I couldn't see my statement correctly? Then you left the call.
