If I could give this shop a zero star I would, I was given inaccurate information from the beginning. I made the mistake of allowing them a chance to rectify their miscommunication one to many times. At the end of their tear down I was told that it was beyond the extreme and everything needed to be replaced. Ohhh and to continue their mistakes they were off on the price of the extreme case senecio by over $1800 which now puts the total over $6000 on the rebuild. Also was told I needed to replace the CPU because they felt it would need to be replaced. Even though initially, they told me they would replace the tranny and if for some reason the computer wasn't working, then they would have to replace it. Another thing that changed about me. Obviously I would not move forward with a shop that I cannot trust so I found a shop that's been in business twice as long as they have for half the price. Once I made the arrangements to get it picked up, they slammed me with a bill of over 1400 bucks! I had a dude from the back come out and try to over talk me on how "I was the wrong one" I've never seen this guy in my life so obviously I ask him how he knew when he's never spoken to me. His reply I know every conversation that takes place here. His over talking attempt end that conversation! Don't talk to customers like their kids. Oh and did I mention I drove my truck in never had any clicking, cracking, breaking snapping noises ever. The tranny was simply starting to slip If you work hard for your money this place is a NO go! We got referred over to these people, so we took a chance. Dropped off our car, got a call back telling us what was wrong with it and price, we agreed. Got a call back the next day to tell us our car was ready for pick up. We picked it up, drove it 2 lights down and it gave out. We took it back to them and they told us they only fixed the lesser of the problem. Also that it would be an additional $987 dollars to fix, on top of the $900 we had already paid to "fix" the problem because they had already ran their diagnostics. Michelle, had the worst attitude when we picked up our car. Kept ranting on about how she didn't try to sell us a whole transmission BUT still wanted to charge us another $987 to "fix" the rest of the issue. All in all, consumers be ware of this place. As I am also a technician, I approached Michelle with exactly what I wanted, even providing trouble codes from my last vehicle scan. Initially, she provided me a bit of resistance, which I expected - most customers don't come with my level of background. Once we established a plan of action about my truck, she set Danny to work on it. My vehicle was a drop-service, and one of probably 14 on the lot. Within 24-hours, the replacement solenoids were in, tested, and the vehicle was ready to be returned to service. Places like these, specialty service shops and the like, are dying - and it's the automotive industry's collective effort that has lead to this development. If you have an older vehicle, keep it. This is a great place to bring your car! My transmission overheated when I was towing a small trailer. The tow truck dropped my van off at My Tran E. The next morning I called in and spoke with Michelle, who was very friendly and helpful. Once they got my keys they quickly found that nothing was really wrong, just that it had overheated. They recommended a simple drain and refill since the fluid smelled burned. They applied the original diagnostic charge to my total bill so it ended up cheaper than I thought. They fit me in and got the work done in short order. I felt like they were honest, not trying to rip me off and they did it in a friendly manner in a reasonable timeframe. Great work. Took my truck here for a transmission problem. Dropped it off on a Wed afternoon had it finished on a Friday. Great communication. Every other shop I have tried I had to continually call them but not here they were in constant communication with me. They went out of their way to make sure it was done quickly so I can get back to work. The price was a little higher than I expected but I guess having it done so quickly makes up for it. The transmission seems to drive great as of yet, although I only really drove it home so far. All in all pretty good experience and they all seem to be very knowledgable. read more

Worst place I've ever been to. Put my car back together wrong all my splash gaurds got ripped off one of the screws from my spash gaurd went through my tire and poped my car and I was all the way out in LA. An hour drive with a spare on the front end. On top of that they said they would fix my tire so I gave it to them at 11am and the shop closes at 6:00 so I gave them 8 hours to replace ONE tire an on top of that! They didn't even get me my tire back that day and we're closed the next two days after so that's 4 fucking days I had to go with a spare on the front of my car you know how fucking dangerous that is!?!? I could have replaced it my self with in an hour of me showing it to them. Fucking bullshit ass company id never do business there again. Over charge the fuck out of you for nothing. read more

Don't take your car here unless you have money to burn! Paid almost $2,000 to have a clutch replaced and transmission work done on my son's car in May 2015. The clutch went out again in less than 10 months, took it back because there was a warranty; surprise, surprise according to them it's not a problem with the clutch! Really? Then why the fuck did the clutch go out? If I want to pay another $1,400 in parts they can fix the damned car - again! Obviously their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on! If I could give 0 stars I would. This place sucks big time!!! read more

I ended up taking my Dodge minivan to Michelle and Danny because I tried doing a transmission solenoid replacement on my own... By the way the most experience I have is changing tires as far as mechanics go LOL.. I gave them a call and explained my dilemma. had the van towed and picked up the next day for only a few hundred dollars for them to re-install the part that I put in wrong .. I'm sure Michelle knew I was pretty vulnerable since she knew my wife was going to be without transportation for a day or so..LOL and could have charged me probably double and I would have smiled while giving it to her.
