I had another car repair shop tell me that I needed to get my fuel injectors cleaned. It was going to cost me $200. However, when I called around to other shops to get a different price quote, DK automotive was the only one to be honest and tell me all I really needed to do was buy a good fuel injector cleaner. I had issues where smoke came out of my ac units in my car and smoke came out of my hood. I took it here and he charged me around $730 for different parts + labor. Got my car back about 3 weeks late just for it to begin smoking again the next day. Turns out ANOTHER mechanic from facebook market realized it was a headgasket and I replaced the engine. Problem was fixed and never had an issue again. DK sucks and i would never recommend him to another person. Charges too much to not even know what he's doing. Save yourself a headache and find a real mechanic. This guy claimed he'd have my car looked at and fixed in a week. I understand the warranty for the part is under your name so you don't want anyone else to install it; So why can't you just give me my 900$ back so I can buy it elsewhere & get it done? I found DK on Yelp last year and was happy with the service. Some things that really stand out for me (we've been there 2-3 times now) are Keith's awesome communication. He's always prompt, and no hidden fees. He sends you an estimate electronically so everyone's on the same page. Another thing that is really great is that he never does repairs that aren't necessary. We wanted to have a catalytic converter cover put on our car, and he told us our model didn't need it. He could have easily just done the unnecessary work and overcharged us. Finally, his prices are reasonable, and he does a GREAT job. We just had 4-5 things done on our Prius this last time, and I'm certain the dealership would have cost me several thousand dollars for what Keith did for $750. I recently had to have my transmission replaced again. Had my car towed to DK. Unfortunately my car sat there for 6 months, all while I was dealing with Keith. Who started out to be a decent human but then towards the latter part became difficult to pin down when I was going to get my car fixed. Just recently he had his phone number changed and had already taken another payment for the additional transmission the second one that I had gotten there and I thought I was going to lose that money. And that was $2,000 that I was franticing and all I had was an email address that I had used before so I sent the email and thank goodness Douglas Duncan who's the other owner of this company answered me right away and he took care of the payment that I made and reimbursed me in full. It's been an absolute pleasure working with him.. Because this would have been the third transmission that I've had put in this car I've decided to just salvage it and not put any more money into it. Great shop! I had a power window malfunctioning and used glass suction cups to keep it up. I just wanted it fixed asap so I took my car to DK since they had a fair price for immediate repair. In the middle of the repair, one of the car's handle wires was bad and ended up breaking. They let me know and only charged me for the part, not extra for the work. I had a quote at Toyota for a timing chain tensioner gasket but Keith quoted me half of what Toyota wanted to charge. I first reached out to Keith on Yelp, and he was very responsive. Firstly I called him up to ask if I could have my car towed to him and he said yeah no problem and gave me a time frame. I get my car towed to the shop and there is already another customer waiting with a tow truck. Turns out the owner wasn't even at the shop yet even though he gave us that time frame. Had to wait around for 30 minutes for him to arrive and open up. Not really a big deal but a bit unprofessional. Next, what took him almost 3 weeks to diagnose, took the dealer a day. This isn't because he was trying to figure it out for those three weeks. It was because he kept working on other cars that came in after mine. I get that you're a one man shop (I think) but that's not cool. People's livelihoods depend on their cars and this was unacceptable. I have only been living in Moreno Valley for two months, and since I am new to the area, I searched on Yelp for a mechanic shop for an oil change and alignment for my Lil 2015 honda civic. Keith from DK Automotive reached out hella fast with a reasonable price! I knew I had to get some other work done before buying new tires so I decided to ask how much to fix my shocks with the oil change and alignment and Keith worked with me on a reasonable price to get that fixed for mi lil carrito. It was an all-day job, and they even gave me a ride back home so I wouldn't have to pay for a Lyft! Honestly, if you are looking for a solid shop where they make you feel welcome, respond to texts (because I am an introvert and dread phone calls), and both mechanics are easy on the eyes... Go here! I sent out a general request to have my AC looked at after it died on me recently. Keith responded pretty quickly and was willing to do exactly what I requested without trying to upsell me on any additional diagnostic tests. I dropped the car off with him on a Saturday, and he determined I needed something specific. He was able to get it done very fast, and I got my car back on Wednesday. Keith did a great job on my bmw very knowledgeable and easy to work with don't be afraid of taking your bmw or Mercedes to him.

I needed to fix my power window, allowed yelp to send my problem to multiple shops, and DK was the fastest to respond with a quote. It was within range of other shops that quoted me but since they were new I gave them the business. I made an appointment (this is important, make an appointment thier doors might be closed) they let me know the job would take 2 hours from the time they received the part. They did not disappoint, very reliable and fixed my window within time and let me know right away it was ready, most shops say it will take a few hours and never call you back until the end of day, I am very busy so this was important to me. Once I got there the handle wire was worn out and had snapped, it is and older 2005 honda so it is not within reason that might happen. They said if I come back they can fix it, I asked how much and they let me know they would only charge me for the part to put it in, again most shops would have charged me the extra service charge. I will be giving them my business going forward as well as letting anyone know who is searching for a reliable auto service shop. They are new and I support small business anytime I can. Great place. ( Late review). He fixed my daughters air conditioner quick!! when it was hotter than hell outside. Didn't replace parts that didn't need to be placed. And we got the car back the next afternoon. Other places were trying to charge for things she didn't need. He was upfront. As a woman, I felt like a I was NOT getting taking advantage of.
