Fast, efficient, and fairly priced service. The exhaust on my car must have hit something, which caused it to slightly bent and contact the frame. Eventually the rubber insulator (the hanger) broke and the exhaust was left hanging, and the car undriveable. I have fixed this issue on my own myself usually, but this time I just couldn't make the pins the insulator attaches to line up. I thought about using a mobile mechanic, but the place was recommended by the parts guy at the Ford dealer in Riverside, so I rigged the exhaust up so I could take it in. Incidentally, my fish dealer (pet fish lol) also recommended them. The shop put the car on the lift, took a look, found the problem and showed it to me in detail. They then fabricated a new exhaust pipe (small section) off the muffler over the rear axle and to the tailpipe, and the car was done in an hour. Now, not only does the exhaust hang nicely and evenly, but a very annoying rattle the car had in the rear (due to the old pipe hitting the frame) is gone now, and the car is driveable again. The price wasn't bad at all for the work they did. Service was friendly and I'm back on the road with this car. Great job! I'll use them again when I need exhaust work done. read more

Excellent customer service and very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend this shop.. thank you

I had my muffler replaced last year in November. Within that period of time I started to smell fuel fumes. I have discovered that the technician did not notice the fuel line was up against the muffler causing severe damage to fuel hose. During the course of time it melted the hoses and punctured a pin hole causing the fuel hose to leak. I would NOT recommend this place if the did a proper job to begin with. read more

You guys don't like black people huh? I brought in a complete exhaust system. 3" cat race style. Cost me $1,000 and I took my challenger here to have them do the work and one of the young Mexicans act like he didn't want to do it. Because it's a bad azz car and he doesn't have one so anyways these guys lied and said 2 hours and I sat at a restaurant nearby and they finished in one hour. No phone call. I didn't even get a chance to hear it plus the hung my complete system wrong. One side didn't match the other and its all because they are racist and dont like black folks. read more

I've taken 3 vehicles here over the past 5 years or so. They are affordable, do quality work and they are easy to deal with. I moved about 30 miles away and after getting frustrated with two other shops, I made the drive here to got my project completed same day. Made me wonder why I just didn't start here. read more

I brought my F-150 in to get a muffler, they let me stand there as they revved the engine to see which muffler I liked and let me browse through the exhaust tips, and it was reasonably priced I would go back again. read more

Took in a 2023 F-150 with rear exhaust. Had them relocate to side exit. Thought all was good as I have had a few vehicles done here. Turns out I ended up with one exhaust pipe with a kink and welds that look like bird crapped on my metal. read more

Thieves stole the Cat Converter on my '07 Tacoma last week. I called the good folks at Advance Muffler and they took care of me the same day, unlike the Toyota dealer that gave me 2-3 weeks turnaround at a much higher price. My truck was LOUD but I brought it in at 2 pm. It was ready by 5 pm, as they weren't too busy. 2 year warranty on 2 new cat converters. Lowest price of the 4 quotes I got in the area. While I hope you don't have the same misfortune as I did (get a Cat Cover to be safe!). If you do, come to Advance Muffler. These guys are the best.. thank you!! read more

Great service and price! Had a guy qoute me 950 to replace my catalytic converter on my 93 toyota. Alfonso qouted me 450. Glad i found a good shop read more

Failed my smog test. I was referred to the shop. One of the gentleman there did a free diagnostic and throughly explained to me that I needed my catalytic converter replaced. They gave me one of gave me a really great deal on the replacement cat. They finished working on my Car in les than 2 hours. I was honestly very impressed with my overall experience. They definitely earned a loyal customer! read more

I came in to have my car inspected because it would not PS smog due to a catalyst systems failure. Upon inspection they found the secondary cat on my car was an aftermarket part that was not approved for my car. Alfonso made some calls to the dealership and found the part needed is back ordered possibly for nine months. So he gave me solutions to the problem in order to get my car to pass smog. He was honest and helpful. Once I can get the issue resolved I will be going back to this shop to get the work done. The prices are fair and affordable. I truly thank you for your honesty, Alfonso! To me, that goes a long way and anytime someone needs to have their muffler repaired or replaced I will recommend you always! read more

Careful with this place. The tow truck drivers steal a lot of the cars in Moreno Valley and take them here throughout the night... also they have lots of people sleeping here at night and you can hear lots of "sexual boasts" when washing your car they also charged me more than they initially stated read more

Our catalytic converter was stolen off of my husband's Honda CRV. Alfonso quoted an extremely fair price to replace the "cat" including adding a plate to prevent the theft again. Then he charged, only $100, to also have a plate put on my Honda as well and the same day. When we asked Alfonso when he closes he replied, "when my customers cars are done!" Great service and reasonably priced! You don't see this kind of service and value often. I'm so happy my husband found Advanced Muffler in MoVal! read more

Came here to get my Jeep Wrangler worked on. I asked questions regarding exhaust/mufflers. The owner greeted me kindly and gave me a few ideas on what I should go with. He sampled me some sounds and I decided on one bad ass muffler. Was in an out within an hour! Professional people here and I would definitely come back to get more work done! read more

Brought my truck here for a new catalytic converter. They did tell me that my check engine light may come back on and will not pass smog, until the dealer can change the computer from open loop to close loop. I have been to three dealers so far and spent $300 diagnostic fees. They also had me call Catco which is the company that builds the catalytic converters. I was told the same thing from Catco. These converters should not be sold and installed on this specific vehicle. I am so frustrated no help from the manufacture or advance muffler. read more

I was in need of a new exhaust and decided to check this place out based on their good reviews. Upon arrival they had my car checked out and diagnosed within 10 minutes, they gave me a quote and had my car fixed in less than 20. I was overwhelmed with how amazing their prices were, I expected to pay much more and did not expect to still have the rest of my afternoon to spare. If you are looking for a place to trust your car to be serviced at, this is the one! read more

You be the judge. Take a look at the image: the nut was welded onto the bolt. Whether it was done intentionally or unintentionally, this was not what I had asked for. I can no longer remove the nut, since it is fused to the bolt. If I wish to get a new cat back exhaust in the future, I'll have to make a cut and get some new hardware. All I wanted was a crack in the exhaust to be welded up. Now, they've created more problems for me. I didn't notice this was done until a few weeks after the crack was welded up. I asked for a receipt once the job was completed. The attendant said that since it was just a simple patch up a receipt wouldn't be provided (which is against the law). Since I was forced to pay in cash ($20), I don't have proof of the transaction. A minimum requirement charge of $10 is permissible by law; however, $20 is not. Two laws broken and a nut was welded to the bolt. Save yourself the headache; go somewhere else. read more

Great turnaround, straightforward suggestions and clean professional work. They dialed in my catalytic converter for my Tacoma.

Called and got a quote over the phone and told them about a heat shield rattle, the man on the phone told me a price and that they could definitely find the noise. I went in and they got the truck up and talked different mufflers and made a choice and they were done in about 20 Mins or so. I love the sound my truck has now and the heat shield rattle is gone. I will definitely be coming back! Cheap prices for awesome work read more

Have gone here several times already. They do thorough work and they're not pricey. I highly recommend this place if you need exhaust work done. I'm very happy with the weld work and my exhaust. So let's start with the fact that I did my homework and checked every place from the high desert all the way to San Bernardino. When I say checked I mean I called each one and drive to a lot of them. Most of the other shops were very dirty and no one was in a rush to help you. The places that looked professional and clean cost twice as much and 10 times longer to complete. Now back to this shop, when I called the owner he quoted me a price over the phone and when I got there they pulled my challenger right in. Gave me other options and I went with the option that I already had in mind. The price was the same as he told me over the phone. They had me in and out in about 30 minuets or less. People on these reviews say the owner is rude, but I think he is professional and straight to business with a little since of humor. I think most of the bad reviews are young kids expecting for the owner to kiss there ass. Definitely will return with my Dodge Ram read more

Had dual exhaust installed on my Mercury grand marquis.. great service and excellent welds and workmanship.

I took my 2002 Toyota Camry to MossToyota in Moreno Valley. They quoted me a price of $4,100 to replace the catalytic converter and the entire exhaust system. I was also told that they could not get the parts for two months. I went to Advance Muffler and spoke with Alex and Junior and they were just amazing. He told me exactly what was going on and what I needed to do. They replace my catalytic converter and filters for $2,100. I would recommend this place in a minute. Exceptional service. They explained everything and kept me up-to-date. Not only that, the parts were delivered the same day. There are honest people still out there. Thank you Alex and Junior for amazing service!! read more

What a refreshing visit. Extremely polite and professional staff. We took our daughter and her new pickup there for a new exhaust. They let us hear 5 different types of mufflers on her truck so that she could pick the one that sounded the way she wanted. She decided and they quickly welded it on and we were on our way! We paid exactly what they quoted over the phone and are very happy! read more

I forgot to do a review for this place about 3 years ago, I took my suburban here for catalytic converter. It was fixed promptly and right. The owner and staff are very professional. I highly recommend this place for their professionalism, reliability and fair price. read more

My car was broken but advance Muffler ppl Alex was determined the problem and fixed it up quickly.

Was told this was the spot. Had an old cat and ample exhausted fumes. Clear damage to the Cat. They replaced it and said I was running rich. Went to 2 mechanics after who said otherwise. Still smells and not much of a change at all. Next I'll probably have the work they did looked at to see what exactly is going on. Essentially zero improvement. read more

Came here to fix the "leak" in my exhaust that I had made prior to the new AB1824. The driveway to the lift was a bit steep for my car as I had lowered it, but the service was quick and easy. I pulled in, they checked it, and then quoted me $30 for the cutting off of said segment of pipe and welding in a new pipe. Other places have quoted me $35-85 which is an outrageous price range for a simple fix especially for a student like myself. As soon as I agreed to the said price, they estimated the job to be done in 10 mins and 2 secs. I was able to stand there to watch them do the job and was really amazed at their speed and efficiency of time. Little under 10 mins, and the job was done and I was on my way back home! Will come back when I need to install a new resonator and downpipe! **NOTE: I came in on a weekday morning at 10am, so there was no wait time and called in beforehand. read more

I had an intake and exhaust installed on my car here. They have amazing deals and the owner is a very nice guy. I didn't speak much to the employees but they seemed to know what they were doing, which was appreciable. I don't think you can beat their prices for the services they provide. Based on the strength of Yelp and Google reviews, I decided to give Advance a call for an exhaust modification on my Yukon. I called just after they opened to set up an appointment, but as advertised I was told I can come by whenever I was ready and to drive into the first empty bay I saw. Over the phone, Marcos gave me a quick rundown of everything they have in stock and any (if necessary) custom piping they can do. I showed up at noon and rolled right in to the first empty bay like we discussed. Met with Marcos and I went a little further discussing what I was looking for, and he presented me several options that were in the neighborhood of what I had in mind. For muffler swaps, they allow you to listen to different units before they hook it up to ensure you're satisfied. I chose a Borla unit that gave me the tone I was looking for out of my 6.2, and Marcos even suggested an alternate (same brand) muffler that carried the same sound which saved me a little cash. I was in and out in less than one hour and a great new growl from my truck. These guys are the real deal; the work is quick but done just as good, if not better, than some of the shops in Orange County where I've had previous vehicles worked on. The employees are down-to-earth and the prices are the most reasonable I've seen in the area. I'm satisfied so far, and will certainly 1) refer my friends/family/neighbors and 2) return for myself in the future. Thank you, Advance Muffler! read more

Buyer beware!!!! These guys are slick. I recently got a second catalytic converter here. Both times after the technician cut away the old one, purposely slammed them to the ground to breaking up the inside components and then bringing them to let you inspect the damage. Which of course now will indeed need to be replaced due to their actions. Never going back to deal with Alex the smooth talker, and pricier than most..... read more
