This is a review for their service department. My service rep is spot on and she managed to take care of all of my concerns. The individuals who have worked on my car, however needs some training. I came in to have a clutch replacement and nothing but dirty and oil stains on my interior. AC was left on... They did a system check and an update. I left there and not a day later, my radio and CD Player were having problems. Second time, (today June 10,2016) and my AC is on and cranked up to level 2. I took pictures of before and after. All they needed to do was look into my vehicles CD Player and radio, they did not need to turn on my AC nor leave it on. I will allow 1gallon difference seeing as there isn't any indication of when the number would turn. Therefore, I don't know what they were doing running my vehicle & waiting my gas! Approximately, 2 gallon difference! Time I spent there for my CD Player fix was from 12:41pm till approx. 2:30pm, sitting in the lobby. Both problems were fixed, both times I received oil stains and my AC was left on. Fail! Now, this part is for FORD. 2013 Ford Focus SE transmission clutch replacement after only 6 months of owning the vehicle!! According to online reviews, I'm expected to have the same issue again. Raceway Ford - Service department likes to leave my car running and enjoy my AC...whilst leaving oil stains. - Car Dealers Near Me - Riverside, California

I used to have a five star rating for this business but they have convinced me otherwise this past month. It started when I took my mustang gt to them for issues I was having with the transmission. They ended up installing a new 10 speed automatic transmission and Lucas kept me updated throughout the entire process. After I picked up my car the first time this is where the issues began. On the second day of having it I noticed it was leaking transmission fluid. I texted Lucas and he told me to take it in asap. I dropped it off and after they inspected it and cleaned it he said there was no leak that they found. When I got home I jacked up the car on my lift to take a look to see if it was cleaned and it was but I also noticed all they did was tighten the bolts more for the oil pan. Next day when I got home from work I noticed there was a new puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway. I gave them a call and Alan was the one to help me now. At first he seemed like a good guy but I was wrong. They had to "fix" this issue three more times. Every single time I would call Alan for an update he would say I tried calling you but you didn't answer or oh I'm sorry we have your number wrong. He would then supposedly fix my phone number while I was on the phone with him so it won't happen again. Unlucky for me I had to take back my car three more times so I called him more. Apparently this guy has a bad memory because he couldn't remember he already used these lines on me. I swear he sounded like a parakeet every time I would call for an update. The last time I called to tell him the issue is still happening he said they will send a tow truck and we scheduled it for the following morning. I had to call him in the afternoon and remind him. Now my car is done for what I'm hoping for is the final time. So with them having my car for over a month in total I thought I could probably get a discount on a set of rear tires for my mustang especially considering transmission fluid is highly flammable and my car was smoking like crazy all three times. So with that in mind I called Alan to see if I can get some type of discount and he says no. I ask if he can at least ask a manager and he said again no. I was just looking for a discount considering my car could have caught on fire and not being able to use my car for a month so I wasted a monthly payment on it. I will be reporting them to ford and the better business bureau. Looks like good customer service is rare these days. I now have to order the new mustang coming out from sunrise ford which is further from my house. Update : my car is leaking again. I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow read more

Recently, my wife and I were in the market to buy a new car. We had decided that we wanted to buy American to support the U.S. economy, especially during the pandemic. We considered multiple dealerships, and even spoke to some other salespeople, but we weren't satisfied with our interactions with them. Eventually, we were lucky enough to come across Raceway Ford in Riverside. I must say that the entire experience was surprisingly pleasant, from the time we set foot on the dealership showroom floor to the time we walked out with a pair of keys to our new car. Everyone we interacted in the dealership was friendly and professional. We had the pleasure of working with a gentleman by the name of John W. ( internet manager) who dedicated a significant amount of time to answering all our questions and acknowledging our concerns. We were so appreciative of his knowledge, helpfulness and patience that we sent him a "Thank You" email after we got home. All in all, I had an excellent experience with Raceway Ford and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in search of a new car. ----- Forwarded Message ----- Sent: Wednesday, December 9, 2020, 11:14:41 AM PST Subject: Thank you for the vehicle sale Hello John, You sure know your Ford. I just want to thank you for spending the time demonstrating the car of our choice, explaining its capabilities, giving me plenty of time to test drive and to appreciate the car, pushing through the sale process, then patiently going over all the gadgets in the car. It will take me a while to become familiar with the car, but I'm sure I will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you! read more

THEE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Let me start off by saying that I've been in the car business for over 20 year and know how the auto industry works. I've had the pleasure of working for top notch dealerships where they treat people with respect and honesty. This place certainly does not operate with either one of these qualities. Here is a list of the shameful behavior and experience I had while at Raceway Ford. 1) LIED ABOUT THE SELLING PRICE AND TERMS! 2) STAFF STOLE MY DAUGHTERS SMART PHONE (we pinged the phone to someone's house later that night. The phone magically appeared back at the dealership the next day.) 3) SALESMAN DIDN'T STICK AROUND TO DELIVER MY NEW PURCHASE AFTER I WAS DONE SIGNING CONTRACT! 4) I WAS GIVEN ME ONLY 1 KEY AND WAS TOLD I COULD BUY THE SECOND ONE. 5) PAID OFF MY TRADE-IN ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER AND WAS HUNG UP ON WHEN I INQUIRED WHY IT TOOK SO LONG. Needless to say I will never go back to this dealership again and much less ever refer my friends or family here! Whoever owns this dealership should be ashamed and think about re-staffing with better quality people! In conclusion if the GM/OWNER care at all about this review and/or the reputation of their store they should do something with this feedback. read more

Couldn't be more unhappy with the repair work on my F150, had to return vehicle and waste yet another day of my time so repairs could be re-fixed properly. They really need a quality control person to verify their repair work! Doubt I will ever return to this dealership. Next review 07/03/18 I had installed a backup camera on my truck and had the viewing screen attached to the front window by means of a suction cup mount supplied with the camera. While my truck was at Raceway Ford getting repaired some moron glued the suction cup hold to my window. Cool! But when the weather got hot the glue melted and the screen holding device , now ruined by the glue fell off leaving a stick mess on my windshield and screen holder. Thanks Raceway Ford, now I have to buy a new camera and have it installed. Great customer service, like I said I won't be back! read more

If i could give the dealership zero ratings i would. My husband and i went in to purchase a new vehicle, we had a down payment of 1000$ and a trade in worth 15,000$ the sales clerk Rick was very unresponsive to any questions s we had and refused to work with us in any way. Obviously when you purchase a car all parties try to wheel and deal, they were price gouging us to the fullest extent. All they saw from us was $$ signs and had zero interest in being honest. Even management didn't want to work a deal. Ended up going to Fairview Ford where we got exactly what we wanted, 3000$ more for our trade in, and the hospitality was impeccable. Don't waste your gas on raceway. read more

The driveshaft on my 2016 Ford Transit 250 broke September 27, 2021 there was already a recall for it. It took until January 21, 2022 for my van to get fixed they told me it was good as new. When i drove it i noticed it made a loud engine noise that it didn't make before the recall was done. I took it back right away and was told that they would call me when the mechanic was free because they were too busy. They never called back so i decided to just drive there and tell them to fix it. They told me they would look at it and let me know what's wrong with it when the mechanic looks at it. They called me the next day and told me it was the exhaust manifold and it had nothing to do with the recall even though it didn't sound like that before. They said it would be 750 to fix and that i would have to pay. They said they had the part and would have it fixed by the next day. Then the next day they said oh no we said the parts would be here in about 7 days. I called and complained and they said oh the parts just got here this morning we'll have it fixed by tomorrow. They called and said they fixed the exhaust manifold and then they that the catalytic converter was also making noise and that they needed to fix that too. I have waited now half a year to get my van back. I still haven't received my van. read more

I suspected my Ford needed a new battery. It is very difficult to change as it's in the trunk under all the trim that needs to be removed. I called the closet Ford service center and was told they could look at it in 10 days. I know business is challenged with labor and supply chain issues, but 10 days to look at a battery? I called Raceway Ford; they got me in the next day, tested it, verified the battery was bad, and had it replaced before noon. Thank you! We operate a company who sets up closures on state highways for construction projects. It's no surprise that our trucks must maintain a top notch level of performance for the fast paced line of work we do. After many disappointments with other dealership locations we got lucky and found Dan, over at Raceway Ford who manages the Fleet department and has a team of knowledgeable mechanics who pay attention to detail, work at a speedy rate with no sacrifice to quality which makes their service unparalleled. Dan sets the standard high on what managing his department and customer service in general should be. Regardless of how busy they are he always greets everyone with courtesy and makes me personally feel like family. In emergency situations he will do what it takes to get our trucks back up and running. Thank you Raceway Ford for putting individuals with a great work ethic and leadership skills just like Dan. read more

If you don't know anything about financing or vehicles I would HIGHLY ADVISE YOU BRING PEOPLE WITH YOU WHO DO. I luckily received a fair deal on my truck but it was only because it was either they gave me a better price on the truck or honor the price they gave me and confirmed via email text and voicemail from the dealer which would have been about 10,000 dollars difference in the purchase of the vehicle. even after this, the truck I bought was exactly what I was looking for and worth the trouble. This dealership and every single person who I interacted with aside from the mechanics were always at a loss and unsure what whats going on. cause after taking the truck home I found out that on top of about 5 other issues they sold me the truck without a proper key. I bought this truck in March of last year. I am still trying to get them to clear the title on my truck before I have to seek legal aid. Cause apparently the clean title truck they sold me has reported structural damage on the CARFAX. YES, THIS IS ANOTHER ATTEMPT at me getting someone from this dealership to correct this mistake. Literally not even asking for anything but for them just to submit the information they have to clear the truck's title. read more

Raceway Ford made my 2017 Ford F-150 purchase the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. Troy, Lisa, Ismael and everyone else that I came into contact in the dealer were very nice and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about their vehicles as well as very polite. They answered all questions and didn't make me feel dumb for asking them. I would definitely go back and buy another vehicle from them and recommend that anyone that is in the market for a new or used vehicle check with them first! Thanks everyone at Raceway! I would highly recommend Raceway Ford, they Truly Made My Valentine's Day. My husband and I went to Raceway Ford on February 13th, it was late into the evening and we met Dawn, who we instantly liked. She never tried to push us into any car or truck, she actually showed us every car or truck we were interested in. When she had to leave she passed us on to Anthony which we also instantly liked. They were very friendly, Professional, Helpful, and if for any reason they didn't know an answer to our questions they found one for us. They never rushed us. We left that night promising to return the next day 2/14/18. That morning we received calls from them nicely asking if we were coming in so they could help us. We did go back after much internet searches, but realized Raceway Ford had the best customer service and prices. After much searching I bought a 2018 Ruby Red Mustang, and because of such good service we decided to buy my husband a 2014 Black Silverado 1500. As we went from Anthony helping us through getting approvals, we met his manager Lisa she got our approvals and got us wonderful deals. Then we were turned over to the Best Financial Manager named Brian he helped get all our paperwork finished. I would recommend my team that helped us get our dream cars, they made it an outstanding experience. Remember to use Dawn, Anthony, Lisa, and Brian, they should be able to help you drive off with your own Dream Car or Truck. Go to Raceway Ford Today. read more

Lisa and Sterling were phenomenal. I could not ask for a better buying experience. So happy with my new flex!

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If I could give a negative star I would. I took my brand new mustang to this dealer to get the check engine light checked out and they fixed the "wrong issue" or should I say they fixed the spark plugs that were not even the initial problem. The initial problem was a blown head gasket, which is quite different and a bigger issue than easily changing a couple spark plugs. The check engine light came back on a day later. They refused to give me a rental car the first time. When I called back to tell them the check engine light came back on they made me wait for another appointment. Then getting the rental car at this point was a fight. They had my car for a week and when they returned my car back to me they enabled a alarm that was deactivated when I purchased my car. They then preceded to give me an excuse as to why the alarm was activated. The car does not go into into gear without the passcode to the alarm. So without my service advisor notifying me that they enabled the alarm I had to then learn the hard way as to why my car was not going into gear, go back inside and ask for the passcode THAT WAS NEVER GIVEN TO ME BY THE DEALER I BOUGHT MY CAR FROM. A week later the alarm will not turn on so I am unable to put my car into gear. So after I was stranded and late for work, about 5 hours later they decided to give me a call back. May I remind you my car would not go into any gear, without the alarm being on I could not move my vehicle. After speaking to them on the phone they told me that this is a "common issue" they get when they work on cars purchased at sunrise ford. If they knew that the alarm would shut off a week later (or wouldn't) he should've communicated that with me. But instead of warning me that it is a "common issue" they proceeded to let me deal with the problem on my own. Then they expected me to get a tow to my primary dealer to fix the problem THEY CREATED. My problem doesn't lie with the weeks they took to fix my car, the issues they gave me with the rental vehicle, but with the poor costumers service they gave me as to fixing the issue they created. In conclusion, after paying out of pocket to get my car towed. SUNRISE FORD fixed the issue in less than a day. My best advice would be to go elsewhere because they will do nothing except create more problems for your vehicle. This review isn't to blame anyone directly as to why I didn't target names but to share my experience. read more

Bought my explorer in 2015. Had several warranty issues which they took care of but as soon as the warranty expired had more issues that they won't help out with . Thought Ford was supposed to be tough. The black trim on the driver side of the windshield flew off on the freeway, bought the replacement and they wanted 150 to install it when apparently is wasn't installed right to begin with. Had a battery fail under warranty and they replaced it. Failed again a year past their one year guarantee and they wanted nothing to do with it. Bad service and not a dealer that wants to back up their product. Try a different dealership. read more

I called multiple times to set up an appointment to buy a new car, no one ever answers the phone or returns calls. When I got there a middle aged hispanic sales person told me that was normal, sales never answers the phone. We then looked at the car I was interested in, they had it on their lot, but they lost the keys. They told me they were looking for them for the last 3 or 4 days, but couldn't find keys to the vehicle, but they could have keys made the next day, If I wanted to come back tomorrow. Racewayford.com was selling the car an MSRP of $28,295. When I got to Raceway ford, they said the car was $28,795. I asked the salesmen why the price was $500 more and he got upset and said, "That's the price of the car." So I again asked why It was more than online and he replied, "Either buy the car or bye." Then before I could say anything he got up from his desk and walked away from us. That car is still on their website for $28,295 to this day. Raceway Ford gives car salesmen a bad name and that says a lot. What really blew my mind is that we were the only customers in the showroom, so when the middle aged hispanic sales person walked away from us he just went to chit chat with another employee and shoot the S, doing nothing but wasting time. read more

Wanted to express my appreciation to Darin and Chris in the parts department. Ordered a bed liner for my new F-150 from the online Ford Parts site. The website indicated the price was an installed price, which was an error. The price was for the parts only. I have come here for years for most regular maintenance and have bought all of my vehicles parts here. I normally avoid going to the service department because I have only received good service once there, but I like the Quick Lane and always go there. Long story short, I was quoted $500 for labor, including a $85 part by Quick Lane. My dad called another dealership and was quoted only 2 hours of labor for this issue. My dad then asked Raceway why they are changing so much in labor causing Raceway to drop the price down to $300. After obviously being taken advantage of, my dad decided he would do the work himself. It literally took my dad 5 MINUTES to replace to module. He pulled my seat down, lifted a panel, unplugged the old module, and plugged in the new one. Clearly I should have only been quoted for an hour of labor. I will never come to this dealership again; I would rather take a 20-30 minute drive to another Ford dealership. I recommend anyone having serious vehicle issues to do their due diligence so they are not taken advantage of. read more
