I suspected my Ford needed a new battery. It is very difficult to change as it's in the trunk under all the trim that needs to be removed. I called the closet Ford service center and was told they could look at it in 10 days. I know business is challenged with labor and supply chain issues, but 10 days to look at a battery? Recently, my wife and I were in the market to buy a new car. We had decided that we wanted to buy American to support the U.S. economy, especially during the pandemic. We considered multiple dealerships, and even spoke to some other salespeople, but we weren't satisfied with our interactions with them. Eventually, we were lucky enough to come across Raceway Ford in Riverside. I must say that the entire experience was surprisingly pleasant, from the time we set foot on the dealership showroom floor to the time we walked out with a pair of keys to our new car. Everyone we interacted in the dealership was friendly and professional. We had the pleasure of working with a gentleman by the name of John W. ( internet manager) who dedicated a significant amount of time to answering all our questions and acknowledging our concerns. My husband and i went in to purchase a new vehicle, we had a down payment of 1000$ and a trade in worth 15,000$ the sales clerk Rick was very unresponsive to any questions s we had and refused to work with us in any way. Obviously when you purchase a car all parties try to wheel and deal, they were price gouging us to the fullest extent. All they saw from us was $$ signs and had zero interest in being honest. I've had the pleasure of working for top notch dealerships where they treat people with respect and honesty. This place certainly does not operate with either one of these qualities. This is a review for their service department. My service rep is spot on and she managed to take care of all of my concerns. The individuals who have worked on my car, however needs some training. I came in to have a clutch replacement and nothing but dirty and oil stains on my interior. AC was left on... They did a system check and an update. I left there and not a day later, my radio and CD Player were having problems. Second time, (today June 10,2016) and my AC is on and cranked up to level 2. I took pictures of before and after. All they needed to do was look into my vehicles CD Player and radio, they did not need to turn on my AC nor leave it on. I will allow 1gallon difference seeing as there isn't any indication of when the number would turn. Therefore, I don't know what they were doing running my vehicle & waiting my gas! Approximately, 2 gallon difference! Time I spent there for my CD Player fix was from 12:41pm till approx. 2:30pm, sitting in the lobby. Both problems were fixed, both times I received oil stains and my AC was left on. Fail! Now, this part is for FORD. 2013 Ford Focus SE transmission clutch replacement after only 6 months of owning the vehicle!! According to online reviews, I'm expected to have the same issue again. Couldn't be more unhappy with the repair work on my F150, had to return vehicle and waste yet another day of my time so repairs could be re-fixed properly. They really need a quality control person to verify their repair work! Doubt I will ever return to this dealership. Next review 07/03/18 I had installed a backup camera on my truck and had the viewing screen attached to the front window by means of a suction cup mount supplied with the camera. While my truck was at Raceway Ford getting repaired some moron glued the suction cup hold to my window. Cool! But when the weather got hot the glue melted and the screen holding device , now ruined by the glue fell off leaving a stick mess on my windshield and screen holder. The driveshaft on my 2016 Ford Transit 250 broke September 27, 2021 there was already a recall for it. It took until January 21, 2022 for my van to get fixed they told me it was good as new. When i drove it i noticed it made a loud engine noise that it didn't make before the recall was done. I took it back right away and was told that they would call me when the mechanic was free because they were too busy. They never called back so i decided to just drive there and tell them to fix it. They told me they would look at it and let me know what's wrong with it when the mechanic looks at it. They called me the next day and told me it was the exhaust manifold and it had nothing to do with the recall even though it didn't sound like that before. They said it would be 750 to fix and that i would have to pay. They said they had the part and would have it fixed by the next day. Then the next day they said oh no we said the parts would be here in about 7 days. I called and complained and they said oh the parts just got here this morning we'll have it fixed by tomorrow. They called and said they fixed the exhaust manifold and then they that the catalytic converter was also making noise and that they needed to fix that too. I have waited now half a year to get my van back. I still haven't received my van. read more

If you don't know anything about financing or vehicles I would HIGHLY ADVISE YOU BRING PEOPLE WITH YOU WHO DO. I luckily received a fair deal on my truck but it was only because it was either they gave me a better price on the truck or honor the price they gave me and confirmed via email text and voicemail from the dealer which would have been about 10,000 dollars difference in the purchase of the vehicle. even after this, the truck I bought was exactly what I was looking for and worth the trouble. This dealership and every single person who I interacted with aside from the mechanics were always at a loss and unsure what whats going on. cause after taking the truck home I found out that on top of about 5 other issues they sold me the truck without a proper key. I bought this truck in March of last year. I am still trying to get them to clear the title on my truck before I have to seek legal aid. Cause apparently the clean title truck they sold me has reported structural damage on the CARFAX. YES, THIS IS ANOTHER ATTEMPT at me getting someone from this dealership to correct this mistake. My husband and I went to Raceway Ford on February 13th, it was late into the evening and we met Dawn, who we instantly liked. She never tried to push us into any car or truck, she actually showed us every car or truck we were interested in. When she had to leave she passed us on to Anthony which we also instantly liked. They were very friendly, Professional, Helpful, and if for any reason they didn't know an answer to our questions they found one for us. They never rushed us. We left that night promising to return the next day 2/14/18. That morning we received calls from them nicely asking if we were coming in so they could help us. We did go back after much internet searches, but realized Raceway Ford had the best customer service and prices. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If I could give a negative star I would. I took my brand new mustang to this dealer to get the check engine light checked out and they fixed the "wrong issue" or should I say they fixed the spark plugs that were not even the initial problem. The initial problem was a blown head gasket, which is quite different and a bigger issue than easily changing a couple spark plugs. The check engine light came back on a day later. They refused to give me a rental car the first time. When I called back to tell them the check engine light came back on they made me wait for another appointment. Then getting the rental car at this point was a fight. They had my car for a week and when they returned my car back to me they enabled a alarm that was deactivated when I purchased my car. They then preceded to give me an excuse as to why the alarm was activated. The car does not go into into gear without the passcode to the alarm. So without my service advisor notifying me that they enabled the alarm I had to then learn the hard way as to why my car was not going into gear, go back inside and ask for the passcode THAT WAS NEVER GIVEN TO ME BY THE DEALER I BOUGHT MY CAR FROM. A week later the alarm will not turn on so I am unable to put my car into gear. So after I was stranded and late for work, about 5 hours later they decided to give me a call back. May I remind you my car would not go into any gear, without the alarm being on I could not move my vehicle. After speaking to them on the phone they told me that this is a "common issue" they get when they work on cars purchased at sunrise ford. If they knew that the alarm would shut off a week later (or wouldn't) he should've communicated that with me. But instead of warning me that it is a "common issue" they proceeded to let me deal with the problem on my own. Then they expected me to get a tow to my primary dealer to fix the problem THEY CREATED. My problem doesn't lie with the weeks they took to fix my car, the issues they gave me with the rental vehicle, but with the poor costumers service they gave me as to fixing the issue they created. In conclusion, after paying out of pocket to get my car towed. SUNRISE FORD fixed the issue in less than a day. My best advice would be to go elsewhere because they will do nothing except create more problems for your vehicle. This review isn't to blame anyone directly as to why I didn't target names but to share my experience. read more

Bought my explorer in 2015. Had several warranty issues which they took care of but as soon as the warranty expired had more issues that they won't help out with . Thought Ford was supposed to be tough. The black trim on the driver side of the windshield flew off on the freeway, bought the replacement and they wanted 150 to install it when apparently is wasn't installed right to begin with. Had a battery fail under warranty and they replaced it. Failed again a year past their one year guarantee and they wanted nothing to do with it. Bad service and not a dealer that wants to back up their product. Try a different dealership. read more

When I got there a middle aged hispanic sales person told me that was normal, sales never answers the phone. We then looked at the car I was interested in, they had it on their lot, but they lost the keys. They told me they were looking for them for the last 3 or 4 days, but couldn't find keys to the vehicle, but they could have keys made the next day, If I wanted to come back tomorrow. Racewayford.com was selling the car an MSRP of $28,295. When I got to Raceway ford, they said the car was $28,795. I asked the salesmen why the price was $500 more and he got upset and said, "That's the price of the car." So I again asked why It was more than online and he replied, "Either buy the car or bye." Then before I could say anything he got up from his desk and walked away from us. That car is still on their website for $28,295 to this day. Raceway Ford gives car salesmen a bad name and that says a lot. What really blew my mind is that we were the only customers in the showroom, so when the middle aged hispanic sales person walked away from us he just went to chit chat with another employee and shoot the S, doing nothing but wasting time. read more

I have come here for years for most regular maintenance and have bought all of my vehicles parts here. I normally avoid going to the service department because I have only received good service once there, but I like the Quick Lane and always go there. Long story short, I was quoted $500 for labor, including a $85 part by Quick Lane. My dad called another dealership and was quoted only 2 hours of labor for this issue. My dad then asked Raceway why they are changing so much in labor causing Raceway to drop the price down to $300. After obviously being taken advantage of, my dad decided he would do the work himself. It literally took my dad 5 MINUTES to replace to module. He pulled my seat down, lifted a panel, unplugged the old module, and plugged in the new one. Clearly I should have only been quoted for an hour of labor. I will never come to this dealership again; I would rather take a 20-30 minute drive to another Ford dealership. I recommend anyone having serious vehicle issues to do their due diligence so they are not taken advantage of. read more

I purchased an F150 in January, since I bought it it's been giving me problems, transmission, alarm, stereo and it looks like there's a problem with the suspension, I purchased this truck at FRITTS Ford Riverside, FRITTS checked it and said they found nothing wrong with it, I called the corporate office and they suggested for me to go to another Ford dealer for a second opinion and they sent me to Raceway Ford in Riverside, after they checked my F150 they kept my truck and they did a reset in the transmission and said that the front shocks started leaking, my truck has only 7,000 miles, the truck has spent longer in the dealer then what I've had it... Edwin Garcia from service told me that most likely it's that the manufacturer wouldn't want to change my shocks, because I've had that truck for so little time and it's too new for the manufacturer to approve the shock replacement and he told me he was gonna have the manager call the manufacturer and he called me back saying the same thing, that the manufacturer bad denied for them to replace my shocks, I called the manufacturer to ask them how their warranty works? And does my truck have to fall into pieces so that the warranty is able to be used? And manufacturer said that what Edwin Garcia told me was a lie, the manufacturer placed me on hold and called raceway ford and they denied everything that Edwin Garcia told me, they are big liars!!!.... Now manufacturer told me to go to another dealer and see if what raceway ford told me about my shocks, the transmission and other issues the truck has is true, I suggest for you to think about it twice before purchasing any Ford vehicles, because my experience is that the three different dealers the manufacturer has sent me to, the first thing they say is that I need to go to where I purchased the truck and where I purchased it they claim there's nothing wrong with my truck, also Edwin Garcia told me to not worry about the manufacturer not wanting to replace my shocks, that I still have many miles of warranty, to just keep driving it till my shocks get worse, I can't believe it!! This is my first experience with Ford, and I regret sooo much to have ever stepped foot at a Ford dealer. First experience with the Service department was pretty terrible which made me seek out an alternate dealership. After not having one of my issues addressed at other dealership, I decided to give raceway another chance. Since I have pretty much pinpointed the cause, this time around I decided to print a TSB in hope of expediting the diagnosis and fix. The guy behind the desk didn't even bother looking at the paperwork I brought in with me since it was only a TSB and not recall. Seemed completely uninterested in having my car serviced. His "solution" did not work with my schedule and did not work with me to try and accommodate me. The waitress that took my morning order could have been of more help than the lump behind the desk. Baffles me how someone with that "helpfulness" still has a job in the service department. As much as I love my car I'm seriously considering getting out of my ford. Going to call customer service and see if they can point me in the direction of a dealership willing to do WARRANTY work on my mustang. read more
