Empty charger port that they don't use to charge my car for two weeks of having it.

WARNING!!! ATTENTION!!! WARNING!!! ATTENTION!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! CAUTION!!! Do not buy a vehicle from this place. Save your money and yourself the headache. I promise you your experience will be one you regret. The service there is terrible. I had service done to my vehicle there and they literally tried to rip me off for a service that was free due to a recall. They tried to find a way to charge me $600. If I hadn't called the recall customer service line and asked them for help, they would've tried to keep my vehicle for a service I didn't cause. The tech named Chris was rude and made it seem like the money was coming directly out of his pocket. He wasn't helpful and made it seem like I just have to deal with whatever he did or I wouldn't get my car back. Corporate had to get involved and he gave them a hard time too. Telling me no manager was there and I wouldn't have to wait till over the weekend to speak with a manager after not giving the car for a full week. They held my car for 2 weeks for something that only takes a day to fix. Horrible communication and almost cost me my job. When I arrived to pick up my car it was dirty they didn't even have the courtesy to wash it and didn't even charge it up. The electric port/stall had no car parked in it. No one asked if I needed help or greeted me. I hadn't even introduce myself for them to know who I was to treat me the way they did. I was actually looking to purchase a new vehicle but I will drive somewhere else rather than give them my money. Absolutely ridiculous! I like ford but Raceway Ford needs to be put out of business karma will ruin this place. Trust me when I say you will regret buying here!

I was in the market for a used Ford Ranger and reached out to Raceway Ford to schedule a test drive. I spoke with David, one of the salesmen, and he was excellent. He was very responsive and informative, answering all my questions about the truck. During my first visit, I took the Ranger for a test drive and found it to be well-maintained. David did a great job explaining everything about the vehicle. I returned for a second test drive with my wife so she could also see and experience the truck. We decided to move forward with the purchase and picked it up the next day. Everything was ready when we arrived. David was great to talk to and not just about the truck, but other topics as well. I did a full inspection of the vehicle, from the engine to underneath the frame, and everything checked out. While I know David is a salesman, he came across as genuine and relatable. Everyone I interacted with at Raceway Ford was helpful and courteous. If I'm ever in the market for another truck, Raceway Ford will be my first stop. I highly recommend them.

A bit long but worth the read I went to start my 2016 Ford Edge and it would not start. After troubleshooting (I have rebuilt many cars, Trucks, and Harleys), I found a short in the wiring going to the Temp sensor for the coolant. Not something a gear head like me can replace because of the reprogramming needed. Towed it to Raceway Ford. Charged a $250 fee to troubleshoot. It used to be this would them be deducted from the cost of the repair if you did it with them. Not any longer. Not only that but they called later and wanted another $850 because the intake manifold had to be removed to inspect the temp sensor. After some back and forth it was reduced to $550, still way to high but I had no choice. Next day they called and told me the wire to the temp sensor had been chewed by some animal. They wanted $2,000 for the repair. I asked why it was so much and was told it requires 3 hours of repair. I also asked if that included the $550 for the "Inspection" and was told yes. I again had no choice so gave the go ahead. ONE hour later I got a call saying it was ready. Went to pick it up only to find the bill was $2600. He insisted that he told me $2600 on the phone. My Adult Daughter was in the car when I took the call and She assured me he said $2000. Again had to pay it. While this was going on I tried to register my truck for the year and could not because it had an emissions recall. It was just reprogramming so Raceway said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. When the Tech came out, and after 45 minutes he told me he could not get the computer to accept the Raceway License for the software needed from Ford. He had to go back and get it "figured out". 4 days later he returned and tried again. This time the scanner that interfaced with the car and computer did not work. Had to go back and change scanners. 5 days later he returned and was able to reprogram the truck. Problem solved right, not a chance. I still could not register the truck because Raceway had not entered the code that my truck produced when it was reprogramed. 2 days later the tech once again had to come out to get the code. It took 4 days after that before it showed up at the DMV. By then I had gone past the due date and they wanted to charge the late fee. After several emails and documentation, I was allowed to pay the regular fee. We have used Raceway exclusively for over 2 decades. Myself and my extended family have purchased 11 cars from them. The last one about a year and a half ago. This last week I had a Granddaughter turn "Sweet 16" and we gave her a car. It was a Mustang purchased from Ken Grody Ford. Great deal and amazing customer service. I hope the $2600 was worth the loss of a sale this last week and all the sales from here on. Not sure what happened there but post if you have had similar problems.

The first time I went to this location I had a much better experience than this. However, charging a patron for services you did not provide is very illegal and very sad. Word of advice for anyone getting service on your vehicle do small things like marking your tires with a marker or changing your filters with dirty filters to make sure they do their due diligence during their inspections. Went to this location for their works service package where they offer an oil change, filter check, tire rotation and balance, in addition to a battery check oil top off and other items. I was told on Saturdays they don't offer an appointment it is first come first serve. Which is different than every other for location I have been there. I showed up at 8:30 and I was there for almost 3 hours to get my car served. To wait that long you would think I would have got excellent service. They have a camera in the shop and I could watch them literally just sit with the hood open on the car and not see anyone actively looking at my vehicle. Mind you I mentioned to them I was going on a road trip so it was important my car was inspected. I knew everything was wrong when I went to check on my vehicle he was ready to charge me with no vehicle report in had. Every time you go to Ford, you get a vehicle report from who inspected you car. He did not have one first red flag. Second I ask hey any things to report on my vehicle. No nothing at all its in great condition. Second red flag. Last I ask for my inspection and he says they don't have one. He says he will email it to me. At this point including the fact that I was a able to watch the "service" they provided which was just an oil change and maybe a top off , I should have asked for a manager. Instead I spoke with him more to let him dig a bigger whole. And asked him more follow up questions based on my last check up. Needless to say I don't believe they did a tire change and I know for a fact they never looked at my filters or windshield wiper blades which I desperately needed. Word to the wise make sure you inspect your car and view it before you take it in so you have proof of missing service.

Highly recommended by a friend, Bill Chamberlain. As we had just been just looking around. Contacted Erik Pryor and he set it up with Brandon (sales person). Arrived and was greeted by Brandon. We explained what we were looking at and what our plans were for what we were doing. He had 2 versions and he went and brought them to us. We went over both and decided to drive the white one. Did our drive and decided to purchase. Brandon gave us multiple ways to go. He made us feel comfortable and not pressured. After going over the options we agreed on the vehicle pricing and terms. We then sat down with the F&I person which also made us feel great. The whole experience of dealing with Brandon and fiance dept. went so we'll and smooth had made us happy with our decision to but at that moment instead of going elsewhere. Good morning California, I have a little story to tell you. I started out to buy a used ford truck on saturday morning. I March 15, 2014 and had an appointment at RACEWAY FORD in Riverside, CA. It was a beautiful RED 2010 ford sport trac Adrenaline model fully loaded "leather, Navigation, Sunroof etc. It had the very look I wanted and the comfort as well. My wife and I test drove the truck and we agreed to buy the truck and told the salesman Chad lets do the paper work. We were on our way inside the dealership to sign some papers and noticed that another salesman was rolling down the windows. I asked my salesman Chad what was going on. He replied that someone else had an appointment to drive the truck as well. I said wait a minute, I said I'm buying this truck and you are now showing the same truck to someone else. He said yes. I was pissed off to say the least as we drove approx. 100 miles round trip to purchase a truck and this is the type of professionalism we got. He asked me what about the other customer. I said tell the customer your sorry but the truck is sold to another customer. I said you are NOT going to play customers against customers because someone is going to loose and have his credit dinged. I made a few comments and then I told the salesman that I do not need to do business with a company like this and left the lot without what should have been my truck. QUESTION" Do you think this is right or wrong???? I emailed the Manager and he never responded to my email but the truck was pulled off the web site the same day My father worked for FORD in Dearborn, Michigan Glass & Transmission department. I have personally bought over 10 fords to date. I'm a true FORD FAN. But you know, with businesses like this representing FORD products I wonder what William C. Ford and his sister Elena Ford and of course the old man say about this. read more

Before coming here, I read all of the reviews on yelp and a few other websites. I have to admit I was really skeptical about going to Raceway Ford. But they had a vehicle I really wanted to look at, so I made an appointment. When i got there they had the vehicle out and ready to view. It looked just as clean as the pics online. So I took it for a test drive and I was sold. Eric was taking me through the whole process of haggling for a price for my trade in. I finally got an acceptable deal after a few back and forth negotiations. Then Angel walked me through the financing. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I love my Escape! read more

I bought a used car from Raceway Ford a few years ago. This was the first time I had every bought a car. At the time of the sale, we asked for a Car-Fax report on the car. At first, the sales guy and office manager made a big deal about Car-Fax being down and they couldn't give us the report. That was a deal breaker. We were about to leave, when miraculously, Car-Fax started working again and they gave us the report -- which was clean. After driving the car for awhile, it became obvious that the driver's side door was misaligned. I took the car to a different dealer where they told me the door was misaligned because the car had been in a accident at some point. I took the car to Raceway and asked them to either fix it or take back the car. They told me the car had never been in an accident and the door was misaligned because A FAT MAN MUST HAVE LEANED ON IT. Long story short, I ended up crying in the parking lot while the sales manager waited for me to leave. Fast forward a few years. I was recently purchasing insurance, and the insurance company pulled records on this car. Turns out, the car had been in a major accident that cost $17,000 and is still in subrogation. Why this did not show on the Car-Fax report, I have no idea. From the behavior of the sales people and the date of the accident, I am fairly positive the dealership must have been aware of what happened and went out of their way to keep potential buyers from knowing about it. UPDATE: I spoke with Angel Payan, Manager at Raceway Ford. He listened to my concerns and very respectfully offered to rewrite the contract. This was done at a cost to Raceway Ford. i then received a call from Gary Hertica, the General Manager. He reviewed my concerns with me and explained that he had authorized the rewrite of my contract. Now, they had my attention! This was a 180 degree turn-around. I called Saturday morning to review the terms of the new ageeement. I then got in the car and drove over 60 miles to sign the contract. I was there for 5-10 minutes!! Everything was taken care of. Hands down the best car buying experience yet. Our sales guy Chris Ancona was awesome. We live in San Diego so some might think it odd we drove all the way to Riverside Co to get a Ford. After an exhaustive search for a 2014 Ford Taurus Limited with low miles AND Ford Certified, I was only able to locate two within a 150 mile radius. One was actually in San Diego at Mossy Ford - but it wasn't certified. [As a side note, I will tell you that I would walk through a scorpion infested desert barefoot before ever dealing with Mossy Ford. However, they possibly had the car I wanted so I had to consider them. And true to Mossy and their ever consistent level of incompetence, they couldn't even find the car when I called to set up a time and it wasn't certified.] But I digress. That left us with Raceway Ford. I emailed Chris and said I was interested in the car but in no way, shape or form were we going to drive to Riverside for a car that wasn't absolutely pristine. In a short bit of time Chris emailed me a video of his happy smiling face showing us in close detail how clean the car was, the sticker, and describing the Ford Certification. I should also note that on an iPad Chris' head may have appeared disproportionately large so we were relieved when we met him in person to discover he was not, in fact, a bobblehead. My husband was very impressed by Chris' efforts to be thorough and attentive to detail. Long story even longer, we drove to Raceway Ford at 2:00 p.m. on 7/18 in the middle of a monsoon to look at the car. Within a short period of time, and after confirming the car was in fact just as mint as Chris explained, we entered a brief period of negotiation. And by negotiation I mean, I just glared at my husband and informed him I was going to go home with that car. It was a fair price and I think everyone was satisfied. Of course I would have loved to have paid a little less, and they probably would have liked a little more. We already had our financing do things moved smoothly. Angel was very thorough and explained all the warranties and other details completely. We did have to go back to correct a small typo and AJ were very thorough as well. We ended up with writer's cramp from signing all the docs one must sign to leave with a car. Truly Mark and I cannot say enough nice things about the crew at Raceway. My husband wants a truck pretty bad so I suspect we will be back at Raceway again! read more

This is the worst place to shop for a car. Buyers be ware!!!! I'm not kidding. This dealership will lie, cheat, and take your money. They told me that I my first payment does not start for another 2 months and yet I get a bill in the mail 3 weeks later. The customer service SUCKS as well. They don't even bother to help you or give options. Please don't believe anything they say but if you do read all the documents that are presented because they will not tell you the hidden fees. If sounds to good to be true please rethink and go to another dealership. I don't want anyone to make the same mistake. Marcos and his supervisors are liars. Please anyone who reads this, take heed!!!! read more

I have a 2017 Ford Focus that had been having problems with the transmission "shuddering" when I accelerated. Since my car is still under warranty, I took it to Redlands Ford near my work. They had it all day and sent a shuttle to pick me up after work. They said they knew there was a problem, but it wasn't serious enough to fix and to let them know if it gets worse! I decided I would never take my car back there (or purchase a car from them either)! Since I live near Raceway Ford, I decided to get a second opinion. I'm really glad I did! Except for a minor glitch with their online service scheduling (I suggest calling in for service since their online service for some reason isn't tied in with the service center's schedule) my experience was as good as what we would all expect. They squeezed me into their schedule when I called to confirm my online appointment 2 days before I was to bring the car in. Jim Moore, the Service Advisor, updated me several times via text or phone to let me know what was going on with my car. They fixed it by replacing the clutch and it was covered under warranty. I got stuck in traffic trying to make it to the service department before they closed and they were accommodating when it looked like I couldn't make it, by leaving the paperwork and keys with the sales manager. Alfredo Cortez got my keys for me and helped me find where they left my vehicle. Best of all was driving home with a car that felt brand new again! My husband and I will definitely be using them again for any of our service needs and would seriously consider buying our next vehicle from them when we are in the market for a new car. I worked with Marcos in Internet Sales via email for a few days. I contacted Him with the Truck I wanted and the Price I wanted. Marcos was Great to work with. He never Pushed Me to come in to the Dealership to "Make the Deal" or anything. We came to an agreement by email after He found the exact Truck I was looking for. (I had also contacted several other Dealers and none of them could find the Truck I asked for)... When I finally did visit the Dealership He had all the paperwork ready. We took the Truck for a Drive and then He filled it with a FULL Tank of Gas and had it Detailed while I signed all the papers with the Finance Guy. I also have to say the Finance Guy was good to deal with as well. He offered an Extended Warranty but when I turned it down He did not try to push me into it like other dealers have... I have purchased both New and Used Vehicles from Multiple Dealers in the past. After this experience I will continue to come to Raceway Ford in the Future... Thank You... read more

Dont buy any ford that uses the Dual Clutch System! This is a terrible design and Ford knows it. Took my totally driveable 2012 focus in with a check engine light on. They did some three stooges stuff to my car and didnt fix it and when i went to pick it up they did something to my car it was was non driveable. They swore up and down they did nothing but i beg to differ! Any how almost six weeks later and $4300 out of my pocket my car is now working but feels exactly as it did when i took it in the first time when it was drive able ! I think the service dept is a complete rip off! Avoid this company at all means I'm sure not all ford dealers are as bad as these guys read more

DO NOT take your car here to get serviced! It took 2 weeks to get my oil changed, recall repairs done and my brakes fixed. After several unreturned phone calls and talks with supervisor (that went no where), I had to make 2 trips down there just to get a status. When I finally got my car back, I wasn't allowed to see the service order as now they email it to you (which I have not received) Driving off, I immediately noticed my brakes were not fixed. I drove straight home and I noticed 2 dents in my door, 1 is a bad crease (new car by the way). I'm disgusted. Do I trust that the recalls were fixed or that they even put oil in the car? Yeah, don't stress yourself out with these guys, take your car somewhere else. read more

Took my car here for ONLY an oil change. They had "fixed" the recalled door handle on my car during that time without telling me. I was okay with it because I thought they were doing me a favor. I had to drive to texas from California. When I drove back home with my dog in the back seat, the door flew open in the highway and my dog almost fell out, she got scared and jumped in the front seat on my lap and we almost crashed. I finally was safe with my dog in the middle of nowhere at a rest area. My dog was too scared to get into the car. The door that this place "fixed" wouldn't close due to the handle wouldn't shut. By this time I'm sure anyone would have a high heart rate and low patience. I tried to call the front desk and the lady was scared for me which I appreciated her for that. The financially guy in that department couldn't care what happened. I told him I could've died with my dog and he stated "I don't care." Not sure if it was the heat of the moment, but that was unacceptable to me. I was left out there by myself with no help. He wanted to tow my car and leave me there basically....like I said in the middle of nowhere...real helpful Ford! Being alone with a scared dog and all of my stuff in the middle of nowhere at a rest area with a phone that was low battery and barely any service connection just sounds like a bad movie waiting to be made... the guy ends up hanging up on me with no regards to my safety. I took my shoe laces out of all of my shoes and tied my back doors together. I couldn't lock my car so I had to drive straight home with hundreds of miles left to go. I went back to texas and went to this other Ford place with not a good feeling of hope that my door will be fixed. The people at Northside Ford were nice and upset with the way this place took 'care' of me. I'm glad my dog and I did not die on the highway and I'm blessed we made it back home, but with NO HELP from Ford. I can only be happy with Northside Ford here in Texas, but I will never ever get a Ford again or tell someone they should get a Ford. True event. No lies. Go somewhere else please to ensure you're getting what you pay for. read more

I have been to the dealership service department a few times for my tires, one in particular, and they always got me back on the road in a timely fashion. This time, however, they went above and beyond and replaced things for me and took great care of me. When it wasn't ready in time for a Dr appt they gave me a rental so I could get there on time. I have Nothing but great things to say about Raceway Ford and all its departments, including Quick lane. I love this Dealership so much that I took my mother in to buy her first car in more than 40 years and she loves it also. I brought my vehicle in to be serviced. I needed an oil change, tire alignment, and a part replaced. I made an appointment to have all of this work done. I was told by Mark, that it would only take a couple of hours for the inspection to be completed and the oil change and alignment to be completed. I decided to wait at the place as it would only be a couple of hours. I was there at 9am which is the time of my appointment. I was waiting patiently as the time went by. It was now going on 1pm and I asked what was going on. I was informed that everyone was going on lunch and my car would be worked on later. I decided to get a ride back home. This ride was not provided by the dealership and no courtesy vehicle was given. I received a call around 4pm informing me that my car was ready. When I arrived back to the dealership, I was told that none of the work that I needed done was completed. The oil change was not done, the alignment was not completed, and the part was not replaced. The service department had my car all day and completed nothing. They informed me that the faulty part on my vehicle was indeed faulty. They wasted my time. My whole day went down the drain. I already knew that the part was faulty, that is why I brought it in to be serviced. They reset my check engine light without doing any work on the part that needed to be replaced and told me to drive it around and bring it back when the light comes on. How unsafe is that? I would not recommend this service department to anyone. They will keep your vehicle all day regardless of your appointment time and promises made by the staff. They will put a bandaid on the problem and tell you to continue to drive your car. read more

Race Way Ford wasn't the first dealer on our list but our last due to selection of explorers. Well after visiting 4 other Ford dealers and being lied to about stock in hand and vehicle on lot. We did Visit Raceway Ford in the afternoon because they did have what we were looking for and it was on there lot, I was greeted right away test drove explorer and loved it. So my 80 year old parents with excellent credit came in to buy a used truck, it took at least an hour for the bank to approve which of course they did. So all they were waiting for is to sign the contract and 3 hours later they are still waiting and finally are leaving without the truck. Customer service is awful here. I guess they are not really interested in moving cars. The funny thing is they let them walk out with an oh well attitude. Ok next day they went back and Marcos was very helpful and the loan was done and they gave them a extra year extended warranty. It was a stressful situation but they did handle it for us after all. Ok, so I just want to give you a heads up that this may be long. Two years ago I filed for bankruptcy and when May 2015, came around I decided to try and get a different vehicle as my current one (2011 Chevy Aveo) was going bad on me, also because I began receiving auto loan offers which helped encouraged me. I shopped to get an idea and after visiting a couple of dealers I became distraught because the moment they say my credit score it was basically a waste of time we would both agree to not even attempt finance even with the pre-offers I had in hand. Then I received a reply from RACEWAY FORD. I informed them of my current situation and they asked that I give it one more shot. I went there and they asked me why I was looking at "used" when I could go for "new". I was shocked because they were the first to be so enthusiastic with me. Other dealers were like "you need to understand and work with us", whereas Ford was "WE want to work for YOU!" I will not lie, was there all day but they made it happen. They got me approved with Capital One at that time since C.O. tends to take Post Bankruptcy and obviously the APR rate was a scary 17.98% on a 72 month lease with $1000 down, but I desperately needed this and I figured I technically could afford it for right now until my credit moves up. Needless to say I did walk out of there happy. Fast forward to now July 2015. My credit has jumped by slightly over 100 points, it was A LOT of work, but I did it! I began considering to refinance my Ford Focus until my mother mentioned "Why don't you try to trade it in and get the Fusion, it was what you REALLY wanted, right?!" She was right, so I began window shopping again. I went online and spoke with a Customer Service Rep. and they connected me with Josh Duguay. Josh got in touch with me roughly an hour later. I didn't get back to him for at least 2 days due to just being busy. We eventually spoke I told him what I wanted and he said that he would have it ready for our appointment. Then a friend of mine suggested Volks Wagon so I decided to check them out. I visited VW in Moreno Valley off Moreno Beach Drive. It was last year all over again! They pulled up my credit report and came back with a sad face. I immediately left as I felt I was not going to get the help I wanted. I emailed Josh Duguay that day and said that I would be canceling our appointment since my credit is severely different than from where I thought it was and because of that I wasn't sure that I wouldn't get what I wanted. He replied almost instantly and asked for at least a chance since I am already part of the "Ford Family", call it corny, but I appreciated that he had put it that way. So I agreed to stick with my appointment. The following day when I got to Raceway Ford located in Riverside off Sycamore Canyon Drive, Josh was ready and waiting. He immediately took me to look at a Ford Fusion Hybrid which was my top choice, but I felt it would be out of my price range and it turned out I was right. I was ready to leave, but right then the Sales Manager Mark Borsack stepped in and said he was positive he could get me into a new 2015 Ford Fusion (non-hybrid of course which was my second choice) under the terms I had set. I went in there and told them I could give $1000 down tops and refuse to pay any more than what I was paying for my current vehicle. I was there for about 4 hours, Josh and the team had kept my mother, children and I entertained. The finance team over the phone was attempting to ask for more money at $600 a month! I wasn't having that and neither was Mark. He worked his way up to the top and the 4 hours there was so worth it! I walked out with a WAY better deal than I thought I would have received. They got my payments to be close to what I was currently paying which was under $500 with an extended warranty and other little bonuses, took me away from Capital One and brought me back to Ford Auto Finance, FINALLY, they even shorten my payoff term! That I wasn't expecting, only because my credit is not the best. It is average, but it took a lot to get my credit to average and Mark Borsack saw that. Just bought a brand new Ford Focus 2016 from here. I was dreading going to the dealership because I knew I was going to be there most of the day, which I was but Rick, Mark, and Brian made it a pretty fun and exciting day for me. I went in expecting to get a used car but they were able to get me into a brand new car at a really low interest rate and really low monthly payments. I felt comfortable the entire time and not like I was being pushed into anything. This was my first purchase without my dad being there and the guys took really good care of me. This review is for the service department. Over the past couple of years we have brought our work trucks here for service and each time they can never diagnose the problem, they tell us they will call us with a status they never call so we have to call them. Then we are told it will be done by the end of the day and after no call, our trucks end up there for 4-5 days. The final straw was my son took his car in for a noise. Again they told him they would call with an update. 4 days later they never heard the sound and were unable to diagnose the problem and we had to pay $125 for the "diagnostic"! The kicker is the second my son backed up in the parking lot at Raceway the sound was so loud and obvious so my son went back so they could hear it and they told him that they were too busy to help him! Terrible service and terrible customer service!! read more

Do not! I repeat! Do not take your car here for service, unless you have the patience and dont mind with a negative result. They lie and they do not know what they are doing. If I was able to give a negative star it would be-100%. I waited 2 months for parts to be ordered, only because Mark the person who answered the phone said that it would take at least 6 weeks for parts to be ordered and delivered. I Never received a call, or update, I had to call them to get a update, after 7 weeks hoping that they would call me. To make a long story short the service manager Al apologize and said that he would make this right. He said drop off your car and we will have it back to you on Friday. So i dropped off my car, on wed morning. I called to see what time I could pick up my vehicle today, Mark said "its not ready". He said We will provide you with a rental, and i will call you when you can pick it up. Never received a call, again I had to call them, to find out what was happening, with a outcome of no car rental, and a too bad, you can pick up your car in sales tomorrow morning, Per mark. So after 2 months of waiting for parts and 3 days of thinking that my car was being worked on. I got nothing but a bad taste for Raceway Ford! What happen to making it right Al? read more

We went looking for a car and Sanji helped us. He was so sweet, caring and listened to what we wanted in a car. He picked us up in the golf cart and drove us around to every vehicle we wanted to see, (it was hot outside!) on our test drives he was very informative but not pushy. We left not buying a car yet, wanted to sleep on it, and he gave us his card but didn't seem angry or pushy. Prices were pretty reasonable too! read more

My concern is that I had to bring my 2021 Silverado back to the dealership for the exact same transmission-related issue after the initial repair. That raises questions about whether the root cause was fully diagnosed and corrected the first time. The day I took it I had the print of the codes of what was wrong with the truck it match to the ones given to me at the dealership Since the problem happen again and I took with me the codes of the past and most recent ones after picking up the truck. I understand the dealership cannot control GM's goodwill decisions, but customers also expect repairs to resolve the problem. Having to return for the same issue is frustrating, especially considering the downtime and inconvenience. I hope the dealership and GM will continue working with customers experiencing repeat transmission concerns, particularly when similar issues have been reported on these vehicles. My goal in leaving my review was to share my experience honestly so others understand what I went through.

We were greeted by Alex, who listened to exactly what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction without any pressure. It didn't take long before we found the perfect Santa Fe Calligraphy with the exact exterior color and interior we wanted. Alex invited us into his office, where we spent about 45 minutes with him and "Big B" reviewing the available options. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, and, to our surprise, Alex never even asked for our phone number or email address. That alone spoke volumes. After returning from vacation, we visited several other dealerships. Most immediately asked to see the quote Alex had given us and simply said, "We'll beat it by $500." That approach told us they weren't interested in earning our business--they just wanted to undercut someone else's work. Despite asking not to be contacted, we also received repeated follow-up calls from other dealerships. To make matters worse, several were quoting us 2025 models even though we had specifically requested pricing on a 2026. At that point, we knew Alex was our guy. When we reached back out after our vacation, the conversation picked up right where it left off--friendly, professional, and completely pressure-free. We worked out a fair deal with a simple handshake, and we felt confident moving forward. My 2024 Prologue is the first Honda I have owned and I have not been happy at all. Spreen Honda totally corrupted my opinion of dealerships and multiple issues with this vehicle has severely tarnished Honda's image. This vehicle, unbeknownst to me at the time, was really a GMC vehicle that Honda placed their name on. There are two open recalls on the truck. My vehicle has been in and out of the Spreen dealership more than 10 times in less than a year - axle clicking, front bumper coming off, display console blackouts, rear camera blackout, vehicle not updating, HondaLink app not connecting to the car, etc. Spreen service counselors are the worst liars ever. Service have told me that parts were not available for any of the recall and the issues with the axle could not be addressed until Honda authorized the replacement. Spreen needs to be investigated by the State of California!! After the poor service at Spreen multiple times, I decided to make an appointment with Riverside Honda. Mr. Brady was my assigned service counselor. Mr. Brady assured me that my vehicle would get a thorough inspection and all issues found will be addressed. As it turned out my concerns of safety were confirmed when the technician discovered that BOTH axles (left & right) were bad, clicking when making turns at low speed, and needed to be replaced. The vehicle is NOT two years old yet and there warranty repairs needed...?!?!? Mr. Brady ordered the axle parts and had them installed under the warranty. He also got the display recall repaired. Mr. Brady kept in contact with me the entire day whenever my vehicle was left in his care. Again, Mr. Brady has saved the face of Honda. However, I certainly believe I got a LEMON from Spreen Honda. If anyone has had the same issues and found a Lemon attorney to handle, please let me know.

I don't want to elaborate too much detail since this review is for Riverside Nissan. So, as you can see, I basically made my rounds all over town to find the best place to buy or lease my car. Riverside Nissan is completely different from others. First, the price they quoted online (using their website) with all the discounts is legit and they honored it. I'm super happy! But take note that my credit score is outstanding, above 800, so your credit score may be a factor on your actual quote. People with bad credit usually pay more because they have a higher risk profile or higher default rate. However, not sure if this dealership enforces this common business practice or not. Just be aware about it if your credit is poor or below average. The majority of my transactions were professionally handled by Lisbet. She needs to work a tiny (very tiny) bit more on her communication or follow-up, but overall, she was excellent, friendly, and fast. She pretty much took care of everything: delivering the car to my place, paperwork, deal making, and driving my trade-in back to Riverside. Buying a new car from a dealership is something I always absolutely dread. I hate dealing with salesmen who are always asking personal questions trying to size you up. I hate dealing with finance people who always have something to sell you and look at you like you're an idot when you say no (alarms, lojack, extra insurance, extended warranties, etc). Its all very, very tiring to me because by the time I walk onto a dealer lot, I know exactly what I want, I know exactly what I should pay, and I don't want to play the games that a typical dealership plays. So I was skeptical once again when it came time to purchase a new F350 which I needed to order to get exactly the way I wanted it. I contacted Raceway Ford via email to get a quote and Jacob responded back with all the information I requested. I had contacted other dealers and they either gave incomplete information or insisted on calling me which I wasn't interested in...I wanted to do as much as possible via email. I had many, many questions before ordering and Jacob was patient and very quick to respond each and every time with exactly the information I had requested. I was very impressed (and I'm hard to impress). Got the truck ordered and then needed to change an item due to a misunderstanding that I had (my fault). Jacob again was patient and extremely helpful in figuring out what we needed to do and was always just a quick email away anytime I had a question or wanted an update. When the truck came in, it was perfect, largely due to Jacob's persistence and follow-through. Took the family in to look it over and test drive it and then did the paperwork. We used the Costco auto program so the price was already set and was lower than anything I could have negotiated (and lower than all the sites I researched such as truecar.com, kbb.com, and edmunds.com). They had a play area in the showroom, so the kids played while my wife and I took turns signing paperwork (sitting in comfy chairs by the play area). They even had popcorn for the kids. When it was time to go to the finance department, we were in a small room, but thankfully this didn't take long. The finance guy tried to sell us GAP insurance and an extended warranty, but he wasn't overly pushy or annoying about it. All in all, it was a terrific experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. The combination of Jacob being an outstanding salesperson and using the Costco auto program made this purchase very unlike any I've had in the past. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to visit Raceway Ford and ask for Jacob. He's the best! read more

I had my first visit at Raceway Ford today for an oil change, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at an auto service center--which is not something I say lightly about car maintenance. Before even going in, I called ahead to get a quote and confirm that I could bring my truck there since I didn't purchase it from their dealership. Right away, they were incredibly helpful, informative, and--most importantly--transparent. They reassured me that I could service my vehicle there or at any certified dealer of my choice, which I really appreciated. I decided to go with them, and I am SO glad I did. Thomas helped me, and I cannot say enough good things about him--seriously, 10/10, beyond exceptional. From the moment I got there, he was kind, welcoming, and just had the best energy. But what really stood out is that he didn't just "do his job"--he actually cared. Not only did he take care of what I came in for, but he also educated me on things I should have been told when I originally purchased my truck. He walked me through everything step-by-step, gave me helpful resources, and made sure I fully understood my options. What stood out even more was his attitude. He is kind, patient, and genuinely wants to help people. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He never once made me feel pressured or overwhelmed, which is something I've experienced at other places. Instead of pushing unnecessary add-ons or surprising you with costs at the end, they are upfront, honest, and give you options. Extremely refreshing when it comes down to these places. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but I went in on a Saturday and they only accept walk-ins, so that definitely played a part. They even offer rides if you live within a certain distance, which is such a thoughtful touch. The facility itself was clean, organized, and not chaotic at all. There was another team member there as well who was just as kind and welcoming. Overall, I am beyond impressed. Experiences like this are hard to come by, and it really makes a difference when a business prioritizes honesty, respect, and quality service. The driveshaft on my 2016 Ford Transit 250 broke September 27, 2021 there was already a recall for it. It took until January 21, 2022 for my van to get fixed they told me it was good as new. When i drove it i noticed it made a loud engine noise that it didn't make before the recall was done. I took it back right away and was told that they would call me when the mechanic was free because they were too busy. They never called back so i decided to just drive there and tell them to fix it. They told me they would look at it and let me know what's wrong with it when the mechanic looks at it. They called me the next day and told me it was the exhaust manifold and it had nothing to do with the recall even though it didn't sound like that before. They said it would be 750 to fix and that i would have to pay. They said they had the part and would have it fixed by the next day. Then the next day they said oh no we said the parts would be here in about 7 days. I called and complained and they said oh the parts just got here this morning we'll have it fixed by tomorrow. They called and said they fixed the exhaust manifold and then they that the catalytic converter was also making noise and that they needed to fix that too. I have waited now half a year to get my van back. I still haven't received my van. read more

Just wanna say that this place is awesome. I've bought my car here and was extremely happy with my purchase since last year. However, I found a problem with my car last week (some weird noise, coming from the front left suspension of my 2011 Explorer), I took it in on a Monday and I got a call within 2 and a half days later with the news that my car was ready for pick up. They even offer to shuttle us from home to the dealer. It worked out perfectly!! Just wanna thank Jessie from the service department. He really went out of his way to make us feel attended. He called and notified us of any updates and he had an answer for every question we threw at him. The whole staff was very pleasant and professional. NOW, THAT'S WHAT I CALL GOOD SERVICE! in my opinion, we need more business like this around the Inland Empire!. I was at the Mercedes dealer a month ago and my car took more than a week to get back (now that was stress full). I just wanted to drop you a short note and let you know what a pleasure it was dealing with the staff at Raceway. I had sent an internet response late Monday night to a vehicle I saw on line. Rick got back to me the next day and through the internet sent me a price. I sent back where I needed to be and Lisa got back to me within the hour with a quote that worked. I came down on Wednesday morning and meet with Lisa who really seemed concern to get me into the right vehicle. After some discussion about my needs Lisa said that she had something that she thought would work better for me really close to where I needed to be and I was truly blessed with the vehicle that she had. Lisa sent all the paper work over and had a meeting she had to go to. A factory AC line was found routed incorrect so I took in my Saleen F150 truck to get fixed under warranty. The line is stressed and ready to break. The service manager and advisor both claimed someone did this to the vehicle. They claim Ford docent do these mistakes, ok. They tried to say Saleen could have done it when car was modified, but they don't touch the AC on these cars at all. Then they said when the supercharger was installed it could have happened, again no AC lines are touched when superchargers are installed. Finally they said the line needs to break for them to warranty it. I mean how much harder are you gonna try to come up with stories to not do the work? This is a 100k vehicle with only has 2k miles still under warranty. They told me I can call Ford corp, or take to another dealership to try and repair that way. Wow!! This is my local dealership, we might as well not have a local Ford dealership with this type of service. You guys should be embarrassed of yourself. This caliber special edition truck shouldn't be ignored. I can only image what you guys say to the smaller guys. read more

A few weeks ago, I went in to get the computer chip in my car key (2001 Ford Mustang) replaced because I needed it for work. My brother had the spare but this seemed like the only way to get the car running before I had work again in 2 days. Initially, they had told me that it would take 2 days and cost $175. This would have been fine. Three days later, I walked 4 miles to the dealership expecting to have a working car, but they couldn't fix the problem. They told me that they would have to replace the transmitter in the car (that links up with the one in my keys) and make me completely new set of two keys. This was another $200 on top of the original quote. This whole situation would have already left me a little upset, but to make things worse, somehow it took them almost 2 weeks for a "2 day" fix. The last nail in the coffin that warranted this post: my old key still works so I was charged $175 extra for something I didn't need. Terrible service. I lost $175 on top of the time and money I lost because Raceway made me miss work. read more

Of the many car buying experiences I've had over the years, this one was easily the best. For the absolute best sales experience, talk to Brian Sayre the Internet Manager. I contacted him as a pre-approved buyer and told him what I was looking for. After a few quick emails back and forth, including trade-in info, we agreed on pricing, trade-in value and scheduled a time to meet. On my way to the appointment, he had the car prepped and washed so it would be ready for delivery when I arrived. Upon arrival we inspected the new car, drove it and completed the necessary paperwork. Needless to say, he's a man of his word, the price we agreed to was the price I paid. No bait and switch, no gimmicks, no add-ons and no pressure. I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour! There are a lot of Ford Dealerships in Southern California and I drove almost two hours to do business with this one. I recently bought a 2012 F350 Form Raceway Ford. I did a lot of shopping around and was in contact with over ten Ford dealers. I had heard that there had been problems with this dealership in the past but they are now under new management. I dealt with sales rep Steve Overton and he was great from the start. I started off by telling him, like I had all the other dealerships, that I didn't need to be sold on a truck and that I knew exactly what I was looking for. He never tried to sell my something that I didn't want and found the truck that I wanted. The other dealers that would return a call or email, wanted to sell me something that they had on the lot and had things on it that I didn't want and not what I needed. Steve gave me the best price right up front, beating the other dealers "best price" by thousands of dollars. Save yourself the time and energy of playing the salesman's games. I went in for a nail repair in a hurry and they scratched my whole rim on the tire machine. I waited one week for them to send the rim to a CNC shop to remanufacture the rim to fix it so I had to be on a spare tire for a whole week. When it arrived the color was not matching my rims which are OEM. I thought I'd have to be on a spare for even longer but that wasn't case. The ball was dropped but it wasn't completely on them but their rim partner who works on their rims. There was two colors Acura had on that rim for that year he just simply dropped off the wrong one so later that day it was fixed. I bought a new set of tires while we were at it since they were worn and they got the new rim on after a week or a little longer and I got some complimentary services done I was looking to soon, I feel for having to go through the troubles that were caused . Raceway Ford in Riverside Service Department has got to have gone through extensive training on how to lie their brains out all while kissing ass at the same time. Oh, that noise is supposed to be there, Maam. We couldn't duplicate that rattle in the 10 hours we have had your car in for repair. We fixed the problem, it was this (on the opposite side of the car) and it the original problem was not fixed. Maam, really, your vehicle is supposed to sound like that. This is a normal rattle. 20,000 miles and it never made these sounds, noises, rattles. HELLO. I AM NOT STUPID. I am NOT a feminist but they are turning me into a wildly offended pissed off and frustrated woman because they are treating me like I KNOW NOTHING. I recently leased my 3rd vehicle. I had never done business at Raceway Ford but I am glad I did. I emailed them ahead of time exactly the vehicle I needed. The entire transaction was negotiated and done via email. It was painless and the best car buying (leasing) experience I have ever had. Lisa and Steve were the BEST. They were quick to reply and had great followup. Once in the dealership Steve completed the process. Came in on his day off to take care of me. He was polite and professional. I had a few things to take care of in service as part of a "due bill" and Mark in the service department was just as helpful. I would recommend Raceway Ford and a Ford Fusion Energi (my 3rd one) to anyone that is looking to buy or lease a vehicle. read more

Well I have no idea how or why "Richard L" had a bad experience at Raceway Ford...I LOVE this dealership and these people. I purchased a used car there in August and got a GREAT deal on the price and worked with the most AWESOME people from my salesman Cornell to the sales manager Barnaby. Then 25 days later I began to have a problem with the transmission and even though I was over the mileage limit for the 30 day dealer warranty they covered my $200 deductable on my 2 yr warranty they gave me with the purchase AND gave me a FREE rental car to drive for 6 days while they were waiting for parts from Ford to fix it. Eric and his crew in the Body Shop do absolute wonders to a vehicle and its restoration. I had a run-in with a vengeful ex-wife who damaged my front end on my Chrysler 300C. My insurance and the deductible weren't the best of friends, but Eric took the time to listen to my issue, and give me a quote that was hands down better than any estimator I've seen. He took my baby away and when I came back today to get it, it came back absolutely amazing. Raceway's body shop did amazing work and my co-workers all agree that the black metallic blend and everything else was top notch. Highly recommend Raceway Ford and their crew. I bought a 2008 MustangGT from them and returned to buy a 5.0 MustangGT in May of this year. Go to the Internet Department and ask for Jerry or Rheanna. I saved thousands and they are no hassle. They searched and found a 2012 when I couldn't get one anywhere else because of high demand, but I still got it at invoice. The nearest car I wanted was in another state. These are honest people. I can't speak for retail sales. The service department is slow but they do top notch work and the body shop repaired an accident on my 2008 for the best price I could fine - and did an amazing job. The price I got ($28,000) was $3,000 below the best offer I got! read more

My financial situation is only fair, hit hard when the economy took a dive a few years ago. I purchased my F150 new at RF back in 06. I really needed a small car because fueling up an F150 is just expensive. I was going for a new Focus, but with my situation, the numbers were a bit more than I wanted to deal with. But they got me into a sweet, 2012 focus with low miles, and I'm really happy. Dealt with Erik online, and Ronny was the sales person that I worked with at the dealer. Had no problems with them, nice people to deal with. So, my experience with RF was fine, I'd purchase from them again. Thank you and the car is awesome. read more
