Bait and switch. Advertised price on ford.com did not match the higher price there. The eventually agreed to honor it after I said legally they have to. Sales man Alfredo was rude from the start as the manger did not want to sell is at that price. Car was for my wife so she tried to do the negotiating but Alfredo made her fell less than worth of his time or maybe he has issue with women. He said put me first on the credit check as it will look better (she has better credit and makes more than me so he is wrong). He acted shocked when she said yes she has a job "wow you work?", how sexist to say that. I kept telling him to deal with her but instead he ignored her and kept asking me questions My wife asked a question he ignored her and when I repeated it he said "that is not what she asked" she said it was and he then said "that is not what she said" All she asked for was a copy of the certified used point inspection from Ford. Our plan was to buy her this 2018 and next weekend with my holiday bonus I was going to get a Raptor from them. Redlands Ford can have our business for both cars instead. Ignore this place as they use the air and switch tactic on price. As you can see by their other reviews their rude attitudes and behavior is a trend. read more

Came in yesterday for service on my husbands F-150, service advisor quotes me a price & tells me I must come back this am (today) because the part that I needed must be ordered and won't be there until mid-am....He says he's going to be off & tells me to go see Doug in the am. I say ok & tell him I'll be there early when they open as he explained it'll be an all day process. I arrive@7:15 am and pull into the service drive waiting for the only guy who is sitting at his desk looking at me to see when I'm going to get out my car to go inside...At this point I'm confused because usually the service advisors come out to your car greet you and then ask how they can help so after 10 minutes of me waiting for someone to greet me I get out of the car and approach the door to enter the building then he decides to get up out of his chair and say what do you need?? Wwwhhhaaattt??? I should've known it was going to be a bad experience right there but I explained to him that I needed service on my truck etc....He gives me the" i'm going to call parts Company and see if we even have it in stock" line along with " there will be a 15% up charge fee if we have to get it from another store" line!?!?!...My family and I have been working in dealerships forever and know that although it is true you have to check parts to make sure everything is in stock, you're supposed to do everything you can to make it easier for your guests to receive the products or services that your company offers not look for ways to reject the guest. He kept telling me every reason why he couldn't get done then he quoted me $200 more than I was quoted the night before by a different service advisor ???...when I brought it up to him then he started to backtrack and say he couldn't find anything in stock although I asked him to double check with the parts department he hesitated to call the parts department and then gave me the go it will be an extra 15% so by the time I finished speaking to him he was quoting me about $900 to get the driver side mirror fixed!!! Wow!!! That was an extreme mark up from the quote that I got earlier yesterday when the man said it would be about $515. I was very upset as I felt like he was taking advantage of me just because I was a woman or maybe he thought I was ignorant as to pricing or didn't do my research beforehand?! IDK but he was very dismissive and insulting. Being as though I was furious I googled the ford dealership in Redlands(Ken Grody Ford) ... WOW!!! What a difference from the second my call was answered it was a dignified honest conversation and I was treated like a guest not gum on the bottom of someone shoe! A gentleman named Chase answered the phone and he was so kind honest and truly wanted to help me needless to say 40 minutes later I was at his dealership being treated like gold. So please let me thank you Doug @racewayford for the terrible was you treated me (my children even asked me why he was dismissive) It's so sad that I even have to write this review but Doug you really should remember to be honest & treat the next guest like family!... after all it is on the building you work at as you enter the main gate!! read more

I just went there to buy a truck I was super exited about it and ready to buy not to waste anybody's time, I talked to the salesman (very nice gentleman) he showed me what I wanted to see and we walked in to run numbers I told him I wanted them to take care of the taxes he took me over to a lady in a counter I think her name was lisa or carol or something like that I stated what i wanted she agreed saying it was no problem when we go back to the salesman station he started writing numbers and I noticed he wrote down the number I had asked 3 minutes ago to wave , at that point I ask the obvious, Why do you add that if she just said not to add that to my price ? He replied this nonsense without consulting with her first " I think she made a mistake and she didn't know what she agreed to" I replied right away that I was very clear when I said what I wanted he said no we can't do it I grab my stuff and walked out, as I was walking out he called me back to go talk to her she said that she misheard ( I don't know how if the words I used clearly stated what I wanted) the she asked me about other deals that I told my salesman that other dealers gave me she got on the computer and mockingly started telling me that i should go back to the other dealership and get that deal not to let it go and that she works with numbers all day that she wasn't making much of this, I wanted really hard to tell her and I hope she reads this . I work in construction, numbers and fractions are my bread and butter, since I'm a gentleman and I have class I don't argue or mock people when things don't go my way I simply walk away and gladly take my business elsewhere . Used the quick lane. They constantly take calls while you wait standing in front of them. It gets a bit annoying. Calling in is difficult as well to reach the quick lane people. When it was done they didn't call, so I had to just show up hoping it was ready. The service was normal, not bad and not great. Of course there was a strong up sell, but all Car dealers are like that now so its expected. They washed the car at request, but didn't vacuum at all. Spent $400 for the works and rear brakes. They called me last minute for the up sell so I was stuck without my truck. read more

My husband and I were looking for a gas efficient car since he just started a new job with a long commute. We went into Raceway Ford excited to see the new C-Max hybrid since we've heard such great things about it's gas mileage. After a test drive, we loved the car and were really excited about all the features that came with it. (A sensor to open trunk with your foot-so cool!) We loved the C-Max we test drove but wanted it in a different color the dealership didn't have on the lot. No problem! Sam, our salesman, was able to locate the right color and bring it to Raceway Ford the next day! We were a little nervous breaking down the financials and getting approved for a loan since my husband was starting a new job and I'm working part time. But everyone we met with was so helpful. Paul especially put our minds at ease and helped us look at several different payment and down-payment scenarios. The staff was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions, especially about the APR and extended warranty. We were able to make the best financial choices for our family because they provided honest answers and truly wanted us to be comfortable. Sam even helped us connect to MyFordTouch and set Sync to my husband's phone. He explained the technology in the car very efficiently so we felt very comfortable driving away. We've had the car for a few days now and love it. When we got home from the dealership, we sat in the car for an hour and played with all the features! Worst experience ever! It took 2 weeks to change my oil and to fix a recall. They dented my door and removed my custom license plate frame, threw it away and put theirs on my car. They called me to pick up my car, had me sit for a hour just to tell me it was not ready and to come back another day. All my complaint fell on deaf ears. Never again! read more

Top Notch Customer Service!! We had previously visited quite a few Ford dealerships in the area and thought we would give Raceway a try since we had heard their advertisements but had never visited. Wow, we were so happy we stopped in!! We traded our old F-150 for a used F-150 back in August 2015. Our sales rep, Alfredo, was superb! A professional who truly showed an interest in listening to what our needs were both in a car and financially. He and his team, from sales manager to finance department (Angel), were great in assisting us and NOT making this a tug-of-war with payments, etc. We had such a great experience at Raceway Ford that when we were driving home that evening, my husband and I agreed when it came time to purchase another vehicle, we would return. Eight months later, we returned to trade in our Expedition and downsize. Alfredo was not in but we had the pleasure of working with Ryan Benham. Ryan knew his Fords. We went back and forth with a few different styles and each time, he would gently give us his input as to what car he felt would work best for my needs. It was a difficult decision as the Expedition had been with us for 13 yrs and downsizing wasn't really what I wanted but I knew it was the best choice for us to make. Three hours later, after a few test drives, we finally decided on a mid-size SUV. During this entire time, and it was late into the evening, Ryan never showed any sign of becoming impatient or wanting to "just hurry up and close the deal". At this point, comes Mark Borsack, the sales manager, who graciously introduced himself and helped to make the trade and purchase a smooth one. Mark was very helpful and stood by us making sure that everything was running smoothly during this long evening. He continually checked in on us and kindly gave us a nice gift of gratitude for our purchases. Next step was financing and Brian, the financial manager, was awesome. By this time, it was pretty late and I can honestly say that we all were tired. However, you would have never known it by this terrific team of men who hung on. Brian took his time explaining each and every document, taking the time to make sure that we understood every paper that was being signed. He was quite the patient gentlemen. During this time, Mark B. had my new Ford Escape washed and vacuumed. The young man who cleaned my car, I didn't catch his name, b did a FABULOUS job. I made sure to thank this young man and make Mark B. aware of the excellent job he had done. As a side note, Ryan did contact me a week later to check and see how the car was working out for us and if we had any further question. Yes, some might say it was a sales call, but I tend to believe it was a caring phone call from a salesman that wanted to make sure he had completed his job to the best of his ability At Raceway Ford, you can just feel the care that was shown by Alfredo, Mark B., Ryan B., Brian and the young man. It didn't seem like we were at a car dealership because in all honesty, the treatment received, the care taken in listening to what we wanted, the involvement in really being interested in the customer went WAY BEYOND what I call customer service. I am giving 3 star rating to Raceway ford body shape service. Initially I gave them a 5 star rating when they installed my upper lower grill to my mustang. I now had them install some roush side splitters to the sides and rear. There are 2 reasons why they loss a star. One was the price was more then estimated. The second reason was questionable. You know how when you leave your daughter at a baby-sitter when you get her back and you noticed that changed about your child in a bad way? That's feeling I had with my car. My car mile per gallon reading was at 18 mpg when I left. When I got her back there was a drastic change of 15 mpg. It made me wonder what did the mechanics did to tamper with my car. I don't have proof of malicious intent but it makes me a little suspicious if they were trying to purposely break my car which would force me to use their service. Other then that they did a great job installing the side splitters but I don't think I am going to come back there again. Even if nothing really did happen, I didn't have that peace of mind when I left. Its really upsetting after I gave their body shop a stellar review. read more

I took my car to this place and my bad experience started right away. I was dealing with service Rep Mark and he's the worst guy ever to deal with. I was told my car would cost $950 but he wouldn't explain how he was coming to that conclusion! This place is very unethical, sketchy and most of all very expensive! Try to stay away if you can! I have a 2008 Shelby GT 500 which began losing power & flashing a power safe mode warning which no one could fix. My personal mechanic told me I needed to take it to a dealer & Raceway was the only one who told me bring it in & they'd start working on it. Turned out the onboard computer was fried & Ford doesn't make the part anymore. They scoured the country & found a place which could rebuild the unit & followed its progress until its return & installation . They also provided me with rental car for as reasonable a price as available anywhere.. yeah, it took a long time but they did everything they could & then some to get that car back on the road. I even noticed that they repaired some upholstery which was coming apart. Just because. Wow. Thanks to Amanda in the rental unit & Alan in service. Don't bother looking at other dealerships! Drive on over to Raceway Ford and be amazed for yourself with the great customer service and awesome deals they offer. My husband and I were looking for a pre-certified used Ford Explorer (2013 - 2014). We visited the Riverside Auto Center and CarMax on several occasions....but no luck finding a vehicle that met our needs nor a sales man who knew much. Everything turned around - for the better - when we visited Raceway Ford on Sycamore Canyon in Riverside and met Fidel Hinojosa, Auto Sales & Leasing. During the test drive (we test drove 2 different 2013 used Explorer models), not only did he explain every feature & accessory, he made us stop, get out of the vehicle and inspect it from bumper to bumper before we returned to the dealer lot. He looked as hard as we did to find any flaws or damage. We never felt any pressure to make an immediate decision to "buy right now". His primary and only concern was that "the car met every one of our expectations" and that he provided "superior customer service". The reason for 2 stars is that their Quicklane Guys and Quicklane service is awesome. Otherwise, the sales / finance departments are un-energetic, uninformed, and not very helpful. I have lived in the area near Raceway Ford for over 13 years. I am a Diehard Ford owner. I have owned fords for going on 25 years. My kids own Ford vehicles. I have purchased one Ford from this dealership. I badly needed a car and we had just lost our house to foreclosure. My credit sucked. A few weeks later, another dealership said that I overpaid for the Focus and to come to them next time and they would treat me right. Now on to Raceways service department. I now own a 2013 Ford Fusion with 65K miles. I drive 90 miles a day. I took it in to Raceway for service because it was the closest to my house. The tranny was slipping and did not want to drive it, too far. The service technician stated that they would try to look at it that day and give me a call that afternoon, with an update. I waited all day and received a call that afternoon. The service tech said they were not able to get to it but, it would be the first car they look at the next day. The next afternoon they called and said that they couldn't look at it because they couldn't verify if I had an extended warranty. They asked for $800 to perform a 6 to 7 hour diagnostic check on it that would require another day at the shop. I insisted that I had an extended warranty. Thewy called agin a couple hours later and said that ford may or may not honor the warranty but, that they ordered the parts and a new tranny. But, they still did not know what was wrong with my vehicle. I dropped the car off on tuesday. It is now Saturday. I did not receive a call from them on Friday. Even after I called them 5 times and left many messages. I am fed up with these guys. I did not receive a call from them Saturday either. Deerborn will be getting a few calls from me on Monday. I will get to the bottom of this. Raceway will fix my car, give me a free rental car, and warrant their work for 6 months, and I won't pay them a dime, before this is done. I'm about ready to go see a Toyota Dealer. read more

I bought my new Focus st on 10/3. When I bought he car it had a chip on the hood. I told my salesman it wanted it fixed, he said no problem. The next day I received a call from Ginger at the body shop, she was really polite and helpful. I told her I would come by Friday morning so she check out the chip. On Friday morning she greeted me with a smile saw my hood and no problem drop the car off Monday and it will be fixed in 2-3 days. I drop the car off Monday afternoon and I get a call Wednesday at lunch time that my car is finished. I go back to raceway and my car is waiting for me. The hood looks great I must say I was impressed. No papaerwork no time wasted. I walk in see ginger she gives me my key walks me out to my car and gives a smile goodbye. Great job read more

We were buying a used F150; had an agreed on signed contract; had the finance completed and approved; had the vehicle detailed and waiting; had the check written; was told 2 minutes tops to complete transaction. Then the manager came out with a new contract for $1100 more and said "I made a mistake, this is what you will have to pay". We were crushed, felt hurt, used and disrespected. They certainly did NOT live up to their motto- "OUR PRIORITY IS TO EXCEED OUR GUEST'S EXPECTATION BY CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT OF RESPECT AND TRUST, AND TO BUILD LASTING RELATIONSHIPS". Nope. Not at all. We eventually left with a sick and empty feeling without the truck we thought we had purchased. No attempt to bring us back. In fact, we eventually called and offered to split the difference. No contact by management at all. No attempt to make things right or rectify their mistake. We had a company truck sent to raceway ford's body shop and has it been an extremely slow process. I was told two different dates that came and past. They don't update you when they're not going to be finished on time and it takes hours to get updates when you call and ask. I would not recommend them for body work or the service work. I just bought a 2012 Ford Flex here and I love it. We actually went twice. The first time we went the salesman left us sitting at the table for a really long time so we walked out. After that they kept calling us making really good offers until eventually we got what we wanted. Taking the fact that they are a car dealership into consideration and you usually get that uneasy feeling, I think they did good and the salesman was new to car sales. One of the main things I hate about getting my vehicles serviced is to constantly have to badger service writers to give me an update as to the status of my vehicle. I had my 2006 F350 Super-duty serviced at Raceway Ford and it never got fixed but the last charge of 3800.00 dollars was the final straw. Here is what happened I took it in with this complaint (white smoke from the exhaust and fluids leaking from the muffler), they diagnosed it had a bad turbo I objected because the truck made good boost but they insisted it was bad, after working with the warranty people ( took a month ) they installed the turbo and gave it back on Thursday, it leaked more fluid Thursday night onto my driveway so I had the truck towed to another ford dealer in Riverside and they diagnosed a bad oil cooler which damaged the EGR cooler and sent coolant thru the new turbo installed by Raceway. I had to pay 2 deductibles for the same issue and now I have to pay to have the new turbo removed and cleaned because of the coolant. But at least the truck will be fixed correctly. Raceway should never work on a diesel truck in my opinion. The bad thing for me is that Mike McFarland ( Quick-lane ) has been doing all my services on 5 of my cars for the last couple of years with minimal issues, but I will not give Raceway any more of my money. This is for Steve Overton Raceway Ford Internet Dept. This guy is great, knows how to take care of a client and knows his vehicles as well as great customer relations. I only deal with Steve at Raceway in fact this is 3rd purchase from him. Also when I send a friend or family member to Steve I have no worries about the deal as i know Steve will take good care of them. He's also a fun guy to talk to and agrees the new 2017 Raptor is awesome as do I. So when you need a new or used vehicle especially a Ford see my buddy Steve he will take great care of you. Steve also has a large inventory of new & used vehicles to choose from including hard to find models which I saw on my visit including Focus RS, Shelby GT 350, Shelby F150 and Raptor's.. Also service dept does a good job too I especially like the Quick Lane as unlike other dealerships at Raceway it really is quick for basic maintenance (ex: oil change, tire rotation) usually I wait no longer then 45-60 mins for a Works Package with oil change, tire rotation, brake/battery inspection as well as car wash & additional courtesy inspections, 30 mins if only oil filter change. My daughter took her Fiesta in for warranty work, the transmission shutters and shifts erratically. This is a very well know issue and Ford has extended coverage due to the multiple problems. Martin in the service department confirmed it shutters and shifts erratically, then proceeded to explain it was not quite in the repair parameters. He charged her $130 and sent it out just as it was, with the confirmed issues. When i asked how we would know when it would be within the parameters he said "no way to know" i guess just keep paying $130 until it finally makes it. Since we have already done the transmission auto clutches three times with the mileage now at 55k, (twice at Sunrise and once at Citrus, no problems, highly recommend them) we probably have a good idea when they are bad. Martin was not interested in advocating for his customer, he just wanted his $130 and for us to go away. I will be reaching out to Ford directly myself, i will update this review accordingly. My advice would be to avoid this Ford service center, customers seem to be more of a nuisance than benefit. read more

I am a big fan of Raceway Ford. As a ford buyer and owner I use the services of Raceway for all of my needs. My daughter wanted an SUV and had been researching the Ford Edge. She had looked at some Ford Edge vehicles at various Ford dealers for familiarity. I suggested that we go to Raceway since they are my usual Ford dealer. She found a vehicle she really liked at Raceway and the negotiations began. Our sales person was John Wachenheimer. John was honest and an excellent person to deal with. Typically I do not like car sales people, but John was not the typical sales guy who is there to push a person into a deal no matter what. John was knowledgeable about the vehicle we looked at and allowed us the time so that I could assist my daughter with making an important and expensive decision and did not pressure us. I had seen a preowned Explorer online that I fell in love with! Convinced hubby to go in so we could give it a try and I'm glad we did. So initially we were helped by Edwin and he was great, very helpful and friendly! Unfortunately we didn't make a deal because we didn't get a great deal given our low credit score. The next day my husband spoke to one of the managers, Lisa and she was beyond helpful! Got us an amazing deal, gave us a great rebate and cut our interest rate by half! Went in to close the deal and she had Alfredo help us out. He was very helpful, friendly and honest. Very sad to see the new Quick Lane, Ford dealerships have figured out a way to outsource their oil changes. If anyone responds to this I have one question. Are all of the oil changers at Quick Lane certified ford technicians that have all access to the same Technical Service Bulletins and tools as the Ford dealership mechanics do? If no I might as well take my car to Jiffy Lube. And that's what the Quick lane feels like to me. read more
