Took my Ford Fusion into Raceway ford on the Feb 12 2018 for an overheating problem I received a letter in the mail from Ford motor company about this problem and a possible engine compartment fire my car was in there shop until the 28th of Feb 2018 they also did a tune up and a oil change when they brought my car out it was filthy they did ask me if I wanted my car washed I answered no because I had to return the car that I had rented from Hertz in Riverside because I had already paid for a rental car for 16 days and didn't want to pay for another day of rental would of been nice to have received a car from Raceway but wasn't even offered one after paying the money owed at Raceway Ford Mr Fernandez told me I would be getting a notification from Raceway if I would give them a good review well if there service was good they would of received a positive response oh also on my way home I noticed my airbag light was on my mistake never again read more

Service Review - Anything more than an oil change I would recommend you take it elsewhere. Worst experience ever. Had my vehicle towed in with a fluttering noise that ended up being a spark plug that blew out if it's hole. 10 days I'm still having to call for updates with promises they will call me back and never do. I wanted to come on and write a review because I have read all of the previous reviews and I would respectfully disagree. I for one agree that this dealership was previously under bad management and had massive room for improvement but I TRULY believe that the current general manager Gary Hertica is turning this dealership completely around. I have purchased plenty of cars in my life and never have I dealt with a GM who acted with complete regard for a purchasers well being, his professionalism sets a standard that all should follow. What I gathered from my experience is that he is doing his absolute best to turn this place around and make sure that his employees are following suit. The way Gary and his staff helped me NEVER happens this day in age. I cannot say "how" they helped me and my family due to privacy of the situation but they were life savers to say the least. I would recommend any of my friends or family to this dealership based on my experience. Simply put, I will be back! Lastly, for the reviewers commenting on dirty cars. There is construction going on directly outside the dealership on the freeway. To compare to Fritts Ford, etc is not entirely fair in my opinion. Fritts is surrounded by streets and other dealerships. If we are comparing apples to apples, the situation is not the same. When I purchased my mustang from Raceway, my salesman personally went back in his slacks and dress shoes after closing hours and washed my car (no questions asked) while paperwork was filled out. I went shopping here for a used diesel truck. I found what I wanted at a price I wanted. I came back the next day to start the paperwork process and test drive it again my friend jumped on the bed and noticed that it felt unbalanced, wavy, not how a truck bed should feel. I went inside started negotiating and inquired about the bed of the truck. I wanted to work in replacing the bed as part of the deal or discount the serious flaw with the truck. Conveniently the service dept. could not tell me the cost of replacing the bed, which if the service/mechanic/maintenance dept. could not tell me than I don't know who can?!?! It was ridiculous they were unwilling to negotiate a very serious problem with there product. Later on as the deal continued I asked if I could look it over maybe the bed was not as bad as it felt unfortunately it was worse there was dirt gravel and cement pieces under a plastic bed liner. They did not even sweep or clean underneath the bed liner because the debris leveled the bed liner. The truck is no longer in there lot I imagine some poor soul bought it without realizing the serious issue with the truck bed. I'm very disappointed with there service and sales dept. I have nothing good to say about this dealership and would not recommend any one I knew to shop for a vehicle there, it was a very shady experience. read more

I bought a new 2016 Mustang from the Raceway dealership in Riverside, CA. That was in Oct. of 2016. The end of Nov. I brought the Mustang into the service department with a problem I was having with the vehicle. Shifting from park to reverse and neural to drive, I was hearing a noise I referred as a clucking noise. Just to let you know I am a 67 y/o, with not the greatest hearing. Raceway had my vehicle in the service department for (4) days. At the end of the fourth day, they told me that they could not find the problem and checked with other similar Mustangs on there lot and found they too made the same noise shifting from park to reverse and neural to drive. When I arrived to retrieve my Mustang, from Raceway, I asked the service advisor if I could listen to the shifting from one of the Mustangs they used on there lot as a comparison. One of the sales representatives, shifted from park to reverse and neural to drive, a number of times and none of us heard any clucking noise. I finally brought my Mustang to another Ford dealer, Gosh Ford in Hemet. They found the problem; it was the Transmission output flange. Right from the start told me that the noise was not a standard shifting noise in the Mustangs, as Raceway tired to BS me. If I took Raceways word. I would be paying a hefty bill on repairs sometime in the future after the warranty ran out.... Either Raceway has incompetent technicians or they are scammers looking for a bigger payday. If I were you, stay far away from this service department. read more

I'm not happy at all with this dealership. I have a 2014 and it's had 2 transmission clutches put in by them. I was told by the boss lady there that "when they fix it they fix it" well she's fooling her self as I'm now in need of my 3rd transmission clutch and I will not return to raceway for the service to be done. I have reported this dealer ship to corporate and also trying to lemon law my car now. They are no help they just continue to fix my car with the same defective parts and it's just a reoccurring problem. My actual sales guy who sold me the car contacted me and told me he walked out and told me some horror stories about the dealership. They only want the sale to make there dealership look better. The sales department at this place is pretty standard, about what you would expect from a dealership. But that's where good things end. I bought a 2015 fusion and it has 24k miles on it and my seat motor and sunvisor clip broke already, not a big deal because it's still under warranty. Well I take it to raceway ford and they tell me the repairs will over 1000 dollars and they need the car for a few days and the bus stop is out front......oh and by the way the said my warranty didn't cover any of this. Naturally I was enraged so I called a Fitts Ford. They told me to come drop the car of with them and it's all covered under warranty and they even offered me a ride home. I purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang with 10k miles in February of this year and went in to take my car in for an oil change and advised them that it drifts a little to the right and asked them to look at it. I figured it the alignment needed to be corrected. To my surprise all the tires need to be replaced. I have put around 7k miles on it since I purchased it. I asked the service dept to ask the sales manager at the dealership if there is anything they can do since I just purchased it and they worked out an "offer" which really didn't save me much money. So I go in to speak to the manager and he pretty much blamed me for the tires and said there was nothing else he could do. The after purchased experience is terrible. If you purchased a car new or used please look at everything, including tires. Also, when they showed me the car fax it showed it in for service and when I asked they told me it was just an oil change. It turns out it also had to be aligned then. Two alignments in such a short about of time. And I'm left with the cost. Doesn't seem fair. I wasn't asking for the tires to be free but the price offered wasn't a good deal for my situation. read more

I have had the WORST experience with the freakin service dept!!! Bought a used car in April and noticed the car jerking. Took it in and was told I need a clutch in a 2015 Fiesta! Service Rep. says a few days. I call back after a week and told 6-8 wks! Ok, at 6 wks I call and ask if my part had arrived. They say if nobody called you probably not, but checked any way only to find out the part was in! Take my sat in and was told they needed to keep it overnight cause they had to remove the transmission to replace the clutch. When the car us ready they say we'll send a shuttle to pick you up and bring you to the dealership. An hour later....no shuttle. I call and ask what happened, cause I had another appointment. They say oh, the shuttle driver went to pick up someone else. "sorry bout that." Today, my husband goes to get car and stops at the store. Car won't go into REVERSE!!!! If you try to call you get a voicemail that says leave a message and they'll call back but they NEVER CALL YOU BACK!!! Wishing I would've never bought the car now. read more

Took my 2014 Focus in for three problems on a recent Friday. The passenger airbag light or airbag is possibly defective, the transmission stutters horribly and frequently, the usb doesn't consistently work and the alarm doesn't always work properly. I dropped my car off at 6:45AM. I eventually called at around 2-2:30 for an update since I hadn't heard from anyone. The service guy stated the passenger seat had a stain from something being spilled on it and this could be why the airbag light wasn't working properly. I said yes, a pie dropped in the seat and I cleaned it, however my car was having the airbag light issue for a month or two before that. He said they would need to contact Ford to see if it could be a defect. Seriously? Shouldn't your product, especially an airbag sensor, be able to with stand the seat being cleaned? Secondly, why are you having to call Ford to figure this out? It's a brand new car and I shouldn't be having any issues with it. So, once we got passed the airbag issue and he said he couldn't do anything until he talked to Ford on Monday I moved on to the transmission issue. He said they never got a chance to look at it because there was only one transmission tech. They also never looked into the usb issue. And I would have to take my car back to Sunrise Ford for the alarm. So basically this place had my car from 7AM-5PM and looked at a stain on the passenger front seat. So after all this I decided to take my car to Sunrise Ford because I still need the alarm fixed and I don't have a day to waste with my car sitting in a shop with no work being done. read more

I bought my first Ford last year and took it to Raceway for its first service since it's closest to my house. Unfortunately there were a series of events that led to the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I took my car in for a 60k service and to look into a leak I noticed in my driveway. I took the car in at 11:30 AM and was told I would be contacted as soon as they figured out what was wrong. At 5PM I called my service advisor Ron and he didn't know what was going on and asked if I could call him back in 10 minutes so he could get clarification. The dealership closes at 6 sonic called back and he wasn't at his desk I called again and he said the service tech was gone for the day and he would have to wait for the next day for answers but I did have a leak (duh). So I went in and paid 270 for my service and he said he would call me the next day to let me know and I waited. At 4:30 the next day I get a customer service call asking how my service was and I told the girl "terrible I will need to contact the service manager" in which she replied "OK I will let him know to expect your call" and hung up. My service guy then called 30 minutes later with no answers asking me to bring it back so they can get more info in the problem to see if Ford would complete the fix because my warranty expired 2k miles ago. I regretfully agreed and took it in again and they had it for most of the day and he said he would have to wait for a response so I took my car back and waited for his call. He called me the next afternoon around 3 to say Ford wouldn't cover it and I needed to pay 508 (a discounted rate) to fix it. I agreed to come in a few days later and he hung up. He called me 15 minutes later to tell me I couldn't bring the car in that I had to make an appointment in 2 weeks because they are busy. I hung up with him and talked to Glen the service manager who just told me that they are understaffed and don't have enough people to deal with my issue and that they have vehicles that have been there for over a month. I suppose that's supposed to make me feel better. He didn't really address the issue and he gave me no reason to come back. He basically seemed to have made up his mind that he didn't care. Other places I have been to have tried to bring me back and make up for the bad service experience and he didn't even offer to discount my service. I already paid almost 300 and have to pay an additional 508 for a leak and 200 for brakes. Why would anyone take their car back after all that to give business to a company that obviously doesn't care. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. The manager didn't care about making things right no one has. read more

No courtesy call was given. Came back a couple days later for a second chance the sales man was not willing to work the price and told the only option I had was to pay the ticket price plus tax and fees. I am very dissapointed in the service that i have received here over the years. My most recent experience was with the SERVICE DEPT. They will NOT make good on the errors that THEY make. One of the mechanics from FRITTS FORD, took a look at my car and said that the part that was previously installed was not installed correctly. (defective installation) I spoke to the supervisor Glenn Morris and advised of all this and his response was " we will take a look but you are still responsible for the repair" I have ran across this kind of service, OVER AND OVER again... I hear that there is a new GM he is out of the office this week. I will be contactly him next week to see if he can be of any assistance. Based on the level of unprofessionalism that I experienced with two Raceway Ford employees today, I would not do business here and I would not recommend this business to anyone I know. My contact with these employees was over the phone; I have not ever been to this business in person. These employees, Internet Director, Chris Senior, and Internet Sales Rep, Nicholas were both exceptionally discourteous and demonstrated a complete disregard for effective business relationships in the community. I contacted Raceway Ford today, after Nicholas called my phone number once yesterday and 3 times today, attempting to contact someone unknown to me. In spite of my recorded voicemail greeting clearly stating my name alone, and leaving no indication that the number is shared with anyone else, Nicholas left 3 voicemail messages in a 6-hour period today, for a potential prospect, who might be looking for a Ford SUV. A detailed complaint letter about this incident has been sent to the General Manager of this car dealership. It is my hope that Raceway Ford's General Manager, Paul Cole, will talk with his employees and ask Nicholas to use common sense when making prospecting or follow-up phone calls, and also require that alleged supervisor, Chris Senior, demonstrate courtesy and emotional intelligence, when handling a complaint from anyone contacting the dealership, particularly those contacts made in response to repeated unsolicited phone calls from employees at the dealership. read more

I really wasn't 'looking' for a used car. I saw some information online that got me interested in a Ford Transit. I did a search and found a used one at Raceway Ford at an excellent price with decent mileage. I called and talked to Marcus. He did whatever it took to get me into that van, but I never felt pressured to buy it. They gave me a great price on the van and created a very satisfied customer. They fixed a major issue (the a/c) before they sold it to me and didn't just do a temporary fix-it to get the van off their lot. Even in the finance office, the finance officer was finding me ways to save more money. I would highly recommend Raceway Ford to others who are looking to buy a used or new car. Customer service is not good. Took car in for a new water pump Friday afternoon. Said they were busy because of the heat and I thought okay. I should hear something on Monday. They were open for service on Saturday also. I didn't hear anything on Monday so I called Tuesday afternoon to talk to my service rep and he was busy with other customers. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me that it was noted in their system that they called me and are waiting for a decision from me on the cost. I told him that I never received a call and that was why I am calling now, Tuesday afternoon. So I authorized the repair and asked when I could pick up the car. He said with this afternoons, Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Everything is good. I receive a call Wednesday afternoon that my car is ready. Went in around 3:30 Wednesday (today) to pick car up and there were 4 service reps, no one had customers in front of them except the one rep that helped me. So I asked the service rep that wasn't with a customer, " Hey I just need to pick up my car and pay for it. I received a call that it was ready." He tile me I had to wait for my service rep that helped me. And, there was one more customer in front of me. I JUST WANT TO PAY FOR MY CAR AND LEAVE!!! No, I have to wait for everyone else's issues with their cars before I can just pay for my car and leave. It turned out that there were some special pricing I was given so that was why he had to do it but if they hair had a cashier, I would not have had to wait for the other two customers with their issues before he could have fixed mine. It is probably me, but I was just frustrated. And to wait 4 FULL days to replace a water pump is ridiculous. read more
