I enjoy quickly's boba, but I have always gone to the one at Rosemead. This time, I went to the one in Temple City. I walked in excited to drink boba, however, the worker with the bowl haircut and glasses was pretty rude and had no manners. We asked him how much a drink was and he responded very disrespectfully. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service. We understand how restaurant service is very stressful and difficult, but his manners were unnecessarily rude. read more

So Quickly is a chain, and a cheap one at that. So don't expect some fancy, handcrafted drink. but all quickly locations are not the same! They're all owned by different owners apparently. And each one has slightly different "special" food items. Haven't tried the food here, so I can't comment on that. Anyway, this is my favorite quickly! The SG one is the worst. And the one on live oak is somewhere in between. Ok, why I like this one: - boba is chewy and cooked well! Especially for a $2 drink. Some other quicklys have really soft, mushy boba which is not good. - the place is CLEAN, large, lots of ample seating, and wifi!! Can't say the same for many other quickly locations. I'm literally spoiled by this quickly because all other locations are normally dusty and old - when you say mild spice on the fries, it really is mild! At other quicklys, I get mild, and my mouth burns. Spicy fries are a must get, btw. If you can't handle spice, don't bother. Plain fries are not that special. - service is kinda crappy at all locations. But at least here, they speak English and can fake a smile. Finally a place that actually makes something extra spicy when asked! I ordered shrimp fried rice and fried tofu (extra spicy) and a mango peach slush and some tea that i gave my friend...forgot already picked randomly. The slush is pretty sweet but i like sweet so its good for me. If you dont like it too sweet i suggest you let them know first. The fried rice is fried rice..hard to mess that up. This is one of the higher quality Quickly's hands down! They actually use real tea leaves vs some of the other quickly's that still use powdered everything. And it's right next to my house?! Perfect. I called to order a delivery (note $20 minimum), but after several minutes of talking to a girl who could not figure out how to take a credit card over the phone, decided to just come in to pick up my order. I ordered the mocha boba, egg rolls, and the bbq rib plate. I got all items for $12 and change. Really surprised by the portion sizes and quality of the plate and egg rolls. I've been to a fair share of Quicklys back in the day and I was never impressed by the decor or the quality of food/drinks. All the Quicklys I've been to was run down and dirty. I had lost all hope for that franchise chain... until today. I'm pleasantly surprised by the nice ambiance of this little establishment. Their price points are very competitive with any boba place around the neighborhood and the quality of drinks is superb, especially when comparing to other quicklys. This franchisee has done it right. Whoever the owner of this unit is, (s)he should work for corporate in revitalizing the other stores. Today, my friend and I decided to find a boba place near us to study for AP and SAT tests. As this Quickly just opened I was super excited to try it and practically ran inside since it was 100 degrees today. Upon entering, the place was very clean and tidy. The waiter attended to us immediately and was courteous the whole time; even when we studied for two hours there. The reason I only gave three stars was busy the drinks were only mediocre. With the price I payed for a large drink with toppings, other places would have been cheaper and better. The breaking point for me was that the AC was either broken or turned off. I come here with my brothers on weekends to buy standard cheap drinks and to eat popcorn chicken. It's close to my house so I usually take a stroll with him and sit down and chat and catch up. I've been to other Quickly locations and this is by far the most decent one. It's clean and spacious enough for seating booths. The quality of the drinks are better and not loaded with sugar. There's also plenty of options for food and snacks. The service is quick and efficient. I got a large almond milk tea and taro smoothie. Both really good and you have an option of having real taro or powdered taro. Never had a real taro drink. I'd probably try it the next time though. read more

It's cheap, so we shouldn't really complain too much. Overall, a good experience. This is in addition to the milk tea being also about a dollar, but I didn't see this either. Still I guess the prices here are really inexpensive compared to a lot of places. Stopped in for a quick drink. Got the passion fruit slush with boba. Boba was alright. Slushes are good if you can drink it fast otherwise they melt too fast and just become juice. So I usually get their fruit teas but it was extra hot this particular day. Still it melted faster than I could drink it. Passion fruit flavor was very nice though. This quickly location was my go-to since it's closer to home. I always encounter cashiers here that have unwelcoming attitudes particularly the new cashier with a tattoo on her right clavicle. She's unprofessional, kept slamming stuff on the counter, and made us feel like she was pissed off at us for ordering and changing 1 item in our order. Like it's big hassle for her to get our orders when I'm already talking slowly so she could keep up while she punch it in the computer. In short, we felt unwelcomed with her gestures. Since then they've added a new size which seems like double the regular for $1.50 more which is worth it if you can drink it all or are willing to share it with a friend. Went in a couple days ago and ordered one item: green bean slush, no sugar. They were not busy but I still waited a long time then was handed something that looked like dirty water, no green beans and no flavor. If they were out of green beans, and I think that was the case, they should have told me and I would have ordered something else, but they'd rather "make a quick buck" and serve substandard food item than maintain the integrity of the business. There's a ton of specials, too. 99cents milk tea (and a few other drinks), add 50cents for a large. It's actually really good, especially for the price. Free drink with entree purchase from 11am-2:30pm. Spend $20+, get a free popcorn chicken entree or popcorn chicken appetizer. Stamp card. Once I had a potluck to go to and I bought 15 large milk teas to go and was able to also show up with an order of popcorn chicken as well for about $20. Ridiculously cool. :) I normally don't like Quickly--At all. This location is a stand out exception and I'd choose it over almost all other places.
