Sometimes you just need to get the job done and this quick smog check was done just as the name suggests. It's not a sexy experience. The office and waiting area could really use an overhaul. The good news is my car passed with certificate sent to DMV right away and they have a convenient location. read more

Went for a smog this morning made an appointment on line . Wonderful business was quick and efficient. The worker Amed was friendly. They also do dmv services like you can get your sticker right away, you can transfer titles, etc. price was less then the smog I use to go to. Highly recommend!! read more

Quick Smog was truly quick and was just what I needed during the holiday season! I went to their website and printed out a coupon for $44.95 Smog Check (standard smog check) and Mike took care of it all with a very short wait so I just watched the sports news they had on thier flat screen and my car was ready with no issues after only a few minutes. Fastest smog service I have ever had in 30 years! Nice people and Warriors fans! Their shop is inset off of Soscol just past the smoke shop in the brown buildings and accross from the car stereo shop, with plenty of parking. They have two drive in bays and can do test smog service also and know thier cars as we had an in depth discussion about a pre OBD Ford I had that was having a hard time passing smog. read more

Free WiFi (Quick Smog 2 with password napasmogcheck2). It's not fancy and they're pretty busy on weekends. I really like this place... ...even the yappy little dog! [grin] Seriously, though, as smog check places go, this one's about as good as it gets. We stumbled onto it not long after it opened. We had a coupon for another place, but the smog guy at that place was gone for the afternoon when we went there; and this place accepted that other guy's coupon. That, alone, made us fans. But, even better, the service was both terrific, and fast. The guy doing the check was really nice, explained things, liked to talk to people... it was great. And so we've been going there ever since. Wouldn't go anywhere else, in fact. It's very small, and usually not too busy (though as more and more people discover it, and write good reviews in places like this, that'll obviously change). This most recent time we went was the first time, ever, that we had to wait. We had time, in fact, to go eat and still be back when they told us to return. Everyone's really friendly, though. The service remains good. The price is right. Heck, what's not to like. This last time we went, they had obviously changed some things... primarily in the customer/waiting area. It's no longer as easy as it used to be to just sort of mozy into the garage area and stand around and watch (insurance reasons, I'm sure). That said, one is still close enough, and can watch over the lower-half of the closed dutch door (the upper half is usually always opened). It's... I dunno... interesting, I guess, to watch both the owner and his wife checking the car (and how they do it; and the computer screen and stuff),while the dog sits over on the sofa across the room, watching intently and occasionally whining for mommy; and sometimes the son is walking around playing games on his iPhone. The place just has a nice, family sort of feel to it. They're VERY friendly, and... I dunno... one just sorta' feels good going there and giving 'em the business. Heck, the place even has free WIFI. Who woulda' thunk it! And the DMV paperwork capability... NICE. Of course, Napa's DMV is rarely terribly busy, so even if this place didn't handle the DMV part of things for you, it wouldn't be THAT much of a problem to just go to the DMV. Still, though, it's a nice convenience to just do it there... well worth the nominal fee. I dunno... I just really like this place. What can I say. One could not go wrong making this one's normal, routine place to go for smog checks. We should all go out of our way to patronize such businesses (over the ones which clearly couldn't care less)! This business cares, and does a good job. You should definitely make it your regular smog check place. read more

The name of the place says it all! I walked in with no appointment made with about 2 people ahead of me. I was in and out of the place in about 20-25 minutes. The only complaint is that it can be hard to find. Make sure you get the right directions as there isn't a big sign to see the place. Other than my only complaint, I thought that the staff was friendly, the price was inexpensive (print the coupon from their website to save a little more), and the smog test was really quick.
