Great, fast, and efficient! I brought my car in and Chris was great!! Highly recommend this local business for smogging your vehicle. Mine was a 2006 Mini Cooper, an oldie, but a goodie. read more

Drove over today at 12:30 and no one was there nor was there an indication they were at lunch. They didn't answer the phone and didn't have an answering machine to leave a message. I then called later in the day after 2:00 p.m. and once again, no answer. It's disappointing that there is no signage in the window to let people know what's going on. There were a couple of cars parked under the overhang that looked like they'd been collecting dust for months. Their license is valid through August 31, 2026. Are they still in business??? read more

Sign says open but no one is here. Lights are on inside. Does not answer phone. Disappointed as I planned to check out the near by consignment store and pick up soap at the refinery across the street. Glad I read the reviews as I won't bother with an appointment. read more

Great no drama oil change... price was fair, service was friendly. It was a little busy when I went (on a Tuesday mid-morning) but the line moved along quickly. It's nice that you can just stay in your car too. One improvement I would suggest (especially for new customers) would be to have signs telling you where to enter. read more

Tried twice to get a smog check and both times nobody was there. Like a dummy I waited 40 minutes each appointment but nobody ever showed to open up the business. Piss pour pretext for an establishment. read more

I walked into the office at 2:04 for a 2:00 smog test appointment and the guy told me he'd already started a smog test because I wasn't there at 2:00. When I mentioned I didn't have any paperwork, he said, "How do you expect me to do the test without permission?" I called him an a**hole and left. I stopped at a gas station that had a sign for smog test, pulled in and asked if they could schedule a test. He said he could get to it in a few minutes and that no paperwork was necessary. Napa Smog Test Only on Main Street should fire this guy. read more

Fast! Simple! An old style bench outside to sit on. I highly recommend. I showed up without an apt and they took me right away. It is good to know you can call and make an apt. Yes, I will return. read more

I had an appt for 9am. When I arrived at 8:45 the shop was not open. Their hours say they opened at 8am. However I waited until 9:15 for someone to get there and I called and no one answered. Very annoyed as I took time off work for this appt. read more

My husband and I bring all our cars here- in and out, super quick. No frills but that's ok.

Had an appointment at 2pm and was no more then 5 minutes late. They gave the appointment to a walk in and that was understandable. What I found frustrating was that they would not smog my car next - I'd have to wait for a no show or until 4pm. But was not told this until they he started smoging a person that came after me. So I wasted 30 minutes waiting, thinking I would be next. If they openly had a policy that if you are more then 5 minutes late late, you forfeit your appointment for the day that would be one thing, but that was never stated or advertised. The icing on the cake was the rude and dismissive behavior of the staff when asked why I wasn't next. I got my paperwork back and went to Quick Smog 5 minutes away the road. They were great, had a good flow of people coming and going and were finished in less the 15 minutes - faster then I was able to write this review. read more

Since my mechanic retired, I wasn't sure where to go for my Star certified smog check. Having read the reviews and how close it was to me, I stopped by Napa Smog, which had easy parking, and was nicely welcomed by a young fellow named Chris, who gave me an appt. for the next day. Within an hour I'd forgotten what time the appt. was for, so had to call and find out. I told him "Don't get old!", and he just laughed and said it's okay. Got there the next morning, sat outside on the bench because it was a beautiful day (there is a nice, clean waiting room inside) and 25 minutes later it was done! Chris was so friendly, easy to talk to, and very efficient. Oh, I also got a 15% discount, woo-hoo!! Very affordable for us seniors, for sure. Highly recommend this business. read more

This location is very expensive. I called Napa Smog to get a quote and make an appointment. After giving the gentleman the information on my vehicle he asked if I had a coupon and I that the website had two different amounts for cars. I was then told the coupon would be for $20.00 I asked what the price was for a smog check and was told $82.00 and the coupon will bring it to $62.00. read more

Posted Hours No appointment necessary Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Sat 8am-4pm came by last Saturday (01/27/18) at 3pm Napa Smog Test Only was CLOSED. No sign for reason. JUST CLOSED. As a business, you should go by your hours if you want loyal customers. We went to their competitors on Soscol who were OPEN great, and fast service! Got me in right away-DMV Registration due tomorrow! 25 minutes later, done! I really don't know why the idiot algorithm for yelp was sending me reviews for places in Vallejo when this was right around the corner and the service was so excellent! read more

Tried to use Napa savings card this morning. Arrived at 8 with two others in front of me but no employees in sight. Waited until 8:15 and left. Went to Quick Smog on Soscol and was done in 15 minutes, super fast and very polite husband wife team. Bonus have Yelp check in discount read more

Called and was able to get in right away. Great service. Easy. Boom done. Go to Napa smog for your smog needs!

My wife had to drive up to Napa to get our son's car smogged. When she got to Napa Smog Test Only, they were "out to lunch." When someone finally came back, he refused to perform the smog test, saying he was too busy--even though there was only one other customer. Then she the car wouldn't start and he not only refused to help her get it started HE MADE HER PUSH THE CAR OUT OF THE WAY WHILE HE SAT THERE AND WATCHED. Totally serious. This business clearly doesn't want customers, so don't bother to go there. read more

Totally rude behavior and unprofessional appearance at front desk. Tattoos and wearing colors? I don't need that. There are better places just as inexpensive in Napa. If I could give 0 stars I would but yelp requires 1 star minimum to post. read more

Says it's open till 4pm in Saturday's. I just sat in there for 30 minutes and no one came out. I even called the number to see if someone would come out to answer and no one did. Not going back there again! The smog check on Soscol got It done before I finished typing this review. read more

Chris was professional and helpful. I recommend calling prior to heading in to determine wait time. I recommend this place. He finished the car ahead of me and promptly got to work. Thanks Chris! read more

Very quick and easy. Dropped my car off and was told it'll take about 25 minutes. Received a phone call about 25-30 minutes later saying test is done and passed. Came in to pay and pick up and was told results were already sent electronically to DMV. About $55 (with coupon) and maybe 2-3 minutes total actually at shop and I was all done. read more

I'd normally recommend this place to anyone as they are fast and efficient, however, I made an appointment for 1pm and when I pulled in they had a sign saying they were out to lunch. 25 mins went by and no one came. Off to another garage. read more

I had an appointment for 11:30. i stated that I was there for my 11:30 appointment when I gave the guy my paperwork for the appointment. After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes I finally asked why they had serviced two customers after I came in. The young fellow said " if you're going to be a pain, we won't do it at all.". I was dumbstruck. I have my own business and am very mindful of the difficulties of scheduling and dealing with the public. I asked for my paperwork and left. Then he gave me somene else's paperwork. This employee has done significant harm to this business and should be removed. 'I'll never go back , which is a shame. I've gone there for years and like the location. read more

I had a good experience here. Very friendly front of desk and I definitely got the feeling of integrity. My car unfortunately did not pass, they offered me a 75 percent discount to bring it back to have it rechecked. I had the issue solved and passed and got my registration. As a wonan I often dread these chores but this was pain free! :) read more

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean facility. Definitely recommending this place for smogs.

Over priced. Charged 90 for basic smog. Tries to use smart phone coupon lady at counter said I couldn't use after I signed consent form. I hadn't even paid or received services yet. Went to Quick smog. In an out 10 minutes an coat only 45 bucks with online coupon. read more

First time visiting because DMV said I must use a Star Certified station. I've seen this place before because it is across the street from a favorite restaurant (Pasta Prego). I got a $20 off credit without asking and my car was done in slightly under 30 minutes (in and out). Professional and fast. read more

Its walk-ins only, first come first serve so it could go either way. I went at a busy time in the late morning/early afternoon knowing I had to get it done that day. There was a few people ahead of me when I got there so I dropped off my car and walked downtown for coffee and lunch. It's the perfect location, located on main street just a few blocks from Starbucks. The receptionist was very sweet and personable which made up for the wait time. I liked that she took my phone number along with my paperwork to call me if I wasn't back by the time my car was finished. The wait time wasn't too bad even with three cars ahead of me and I was out of there in an hour and a half. I was able to go straight to the DMV and use the automated booth to get my tags printed right away. The only reason I didn't give full stars is the price. I've gotten my smog done for way less than $70 elsewhere (not in Napa). read more

I showed up with no appointment towards end of day, the gentleman was very friendly...I was in and out in 15 minutes, I definitely recommend this place read more

I tried to get my test done here this morning. I arrived a few minutes before 8:00. I waited until 8:15. No one had shown up and the business was still closed. I'll take my car somewhere that is open when they say they will be. read more

When I arrived I was told it would take 45 minutes for my car to be ready- One hour later I returned and my car had not yet been started. When I asked, I was told it would be another 45 minutes. A woman, seated when I first arrived an hour ago, said she had been waiting 90 minutes and her car was only just put on the machine. Thanking the gentleman behind the desk, I asked for my keys and paperwork, saying I would go elsewhere. As I was leaving, the desk person yelled out at me, "You're a f***ing b***ch," and the other worker in the garage yelled, "What a c*nt." This was shocking and unacceptable. Do NOT give this place your business. read more

I just had my van smogged here and I wanted to recommend them! The manager, Gonzalo, was friendly and was able to help me as soon as I walked in. Had a nice little spot to sit and wait as well. Great place! read more

For every smog that I've done on my vehicle I've come to this place but never again. Yes they do have discounts but the hours aren't consistent I came on a weekday at 10am and no one is here. absolute worst services Ever!!! a gentleman named Marco seems professional and polite, however the few times i stopped there the "other" gentleman attempted to "Not" help me. wow talk about being treated so unprofessional and disrespectful, unpleasant i cant believe he actually still works there with the way he treats people, i have talked to several other people that have gone there and same thing! too bad a local business in town is represented by a jerk! read more

I came in for a smog test on Saturday and was helped by Jerry. He was friendly, had one car working when I arrived, and then did my car. Called today to get a smog. Was told that the smog would take about 20-25 mins and that it is first come first serve. Also my boyfriends car (that was going to be smogged) has an exhaust leak so the gentleman that was on the phone with me said that it would fail the smog but if it did we would still have to pay for smog without certificate and also since it's an older car that the state has put together an amount to me fixed because some suing of an oil company. We did not end up going there or anywhere to a smog but we will be going there when we do get the exhaust leak there. I did see on some comments that they were rude and disrespected customers but I didn't feel that way I actually felt like they understood where I was coming from and didn't just want my money. Also a BIG PLUS is that I called and there was no answer and I didn't think that was a good sign but as soon as I hung up. I got a call right back from them. And they were able to tell me the price and also that that's the grand total and that we should get the parts fixed before getting a smog!! read more
