I cohosted reunion dinner at this restaurant with friends from school and we enjoyed our dining experience. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about wines and the menu which we appreciated. I love that we had a chance to wine taste before picking the one that we wanted to go with the waitress brought out the different bottles and a change of wine glasses that she switched out after we used them. We were grateful that the music wasn't too loud so that we could hear each other. The wine we ordered paired deliciously with the red meat that I ordered. I had steak with truffle fries and look forward to coming back for espresso bar, and cocktails. I wish that the menu was more expensive but the ambience and views make up for it. read more

The Rose Room for espresso martinis is open Tuesday-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and I recommend getting there right at 5 because the room is tiny, and they fill up almost instantly. It doesn't look like they offer reservations for the Rose Room. I ordered the Velvet Tiramisu espresso martini. It was fine. Overall, the atmosphere is great but with how tiny this place is and the hype it's getting, it's a bit of a tourist trap. It's funny because the Rose Room seemed to be the most popular part of the restaurant but has the smallest dedicated space. The restaurant was dead when we went. We used RESY same day to book a reservation and we got seated by the window with a front row view of the Vessel. The interior is quite nice with crowns and flowers everywhere. After debating pre-fix or regular dinner, we opted to put together our own menu. Starting with the Brooklyn Burrata, it was soft and spreadable with the toasted bread provided to us. Our mains took a *very* long time to come. When it finally arrived, both were delicious (phew!). We chose the Wild Mushroom Risotto and Branzino. Risotto was creamy and a satisfying carb to go with the fish. The branzino was also tasty with a light licorice accent from the tarragon. It was not tough and the lemon oil paired well. We ordered a side of crispy brussels sprouts. The everything bagel chili crisp accentuated it all. For dessert, we went with the new item on the menu, strawberry rhubarb mousse cake. This was sweet and just the right amount tart and cake crumbles underneath. I'd come back for this. read more

The ambiance was ambiancing ya'll. Very romantic, perfect date night spot OR girls night out. The decorations are dreamy and I loved that. The pasta was a bit Al dente but still delicious. The seafood was not fishy- very fresh and tasty. The Ceasar salad was delicious and it was a great portion. My date didn't particularly care for his salad because of the duck liver. He usually loves anything duck but this night it just was not hitting. Dessert was yummy. That photo of the empty plate is after I devoured the pana cota. It was so refreshing and the apple and oatmeal cookie crumble made it delightful. My date had the sticky pudding and he absolutely loved it. The brownie crumble + pudding + ice cream was BUSSIN! We had a great time at this restaurant! We ordered our first round of drink with the burrata. I do wish they gave us more bread to go with the cheese since there was 3 of us and 4 pieces of bread. We ordered another round of drinks and by this point we realized we had been sitting and waiting for over an hour on our food. The waiter must have realized we realized and came Over to apologize. We were promised our food and sure enough another 15 mins went by. When the food did come out the manager came to apologize and they deducted the food from our bill. We were happily surprised. This is definitely a once in a lifetime restaurant for the views and that's if you get lucky enough to sit by the window. The food is good but not amazing. But the service is outstanding! read more

Came in for brunch, and were seated to windows overlooking the Vessel aka "beehive" . Queensyard is normally a bit pricey but does a 2 course prix fixe for $39. We opted for NY burrata and queensburger. The burrata was beautifully presented with gold leaf. The burger is normally $33 and burrata $27 so this was a good deal. We both asked for medium rare, and waited. Brunch service was busy and we had to wait for our burgers a bit longer than normal. My only complaint that they needed a good sprinkle of salt and pepper. Otherwise the patty was cooked right and was pink and juicy. The fries were thick cut and also cooked thick, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely worth bringing a date or out of town guests for a weekend treat for the eyes and stomachs read more

My 2nd experience and this time the food was unfortunately disappointing. The good of the evening the aesthetic of the space and views, the Bartender was amazing and recommended perfect cocktail. We arrived early for reservation front desk was nice and helpful. We waited at the bar, they definitely forgot about us so we reminded them and then we were seated. The staff seemed very helpful and nice. The FOOD was just mid not that good but edible, the truffle fries was ok but very salty, lamb chops are usually my favorite and these just was not good but the brussle sprouts was actually the best part of the entire meal. There is just too many restaurants with great food for me to return back here. Hope their kitchen gets it together, overall the restaurant is too pretty for mid food. read more

Had a lovely group dinner on a Monday evening here. We made reservations in advance but were seating within 10 mins of arriving. The host was pleasant and walked us to the table. As we were seated in this beautiful restaurant, the waiters came promptly to take our drink orders. Which we really came for the Caymus wine since we love it and we definitely had plenty that evening. Next we ordered the Cesar Salad which was delicious and definitely can be shared by two people. For dinner we had the Lamb Chops and the Risotto , each dish was impeccable , from the way it was plated to the amazing aroma of flavors and freshness. I also recommend the Caymus Vineyards - Special Edition wine. Lastly we ended the night with dessert the Chocolate Mousse - it had caramel popcorn, salted caramel, and espresso ice cream. Let me just say this was amazing and a must try if you come to have dinner. We had a lovely experience here from the service, food and ambiance. When your shopping at Hudson yards you kinda need a drink break....Queensyard seemed like a great spot with a good view. Although it was rainy ! The bar was a big draw as it was located in the middle and I loved the seating all around. Seemed fully stocked with lots I'd never seen before. They have a great menu for cocktails, lots of wine and beer too. Interesting food menu too, but we didn't eat. I had a really good drink though, the Victoria cross, empress gin, my favorite, Mediterranean tonic, grapefruit juice, and lavender. Little spiced floral cocktail, certainly one of the prettiest! Delicious too. Rosè wine had a thumbs up too. Great bartenders, kinda goofy and fun! I like that the bar was separated from main dining area, but close by, nice layout. Been here several times for cocktails and also brunch. Returned last Sunday for brunch. The jumbo shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon benedict, queens burger and fries didn't disappoint. To be honest, I needed a quick bite to eat after an event at Hudson Yards. I never been to this restaurant though I pass it and the greenery in the front. It is available through payback apps like seated so i decided to try it for a change. I first tried sitting at the bar because I was solo and there were hooks underneath. However, it was much later than I discovered that they were outlets underneath the group seats near the bar so I decided to change seats. I had to close out my bar tab to move seats. Overall the setting is plush with a view of the currently closed Vessel near the windows. My new seat was very comfortable. They had individual restrooms with a group sink option outside. The restroom I had contained a beautiful dark blue paint throughout thought I did see a photo of the model twiggy that gave me slight surprise. I ordered grilled octopus from the starters and a side of French fries. Because they are London style, I shouldn't have been surprised that the fries were like chips (fish and chips). It wasn't bad but it is not my preferred fry type plus I would have rather paired it with malt vinegar than the spicy mayo they provided. The octopus was well plated and had flavor. Overall, I currently wouldn't go out of my way to go again. But if I am in the area, it would be a fine place to dine. read more

I've gone to Queensyard before on a date with my boyfriend and it was great from what I remember. The new rose room edition was interesting, I saw the espresso martinis on social media with glitter so i immediately wanted to try. Me and friend came after a NYFW show on a Friday night and we had no idea their hours.. apparently they close at 9 and we arrived at 9:25 and were told we could be sat but next time to arrive earlier. 9PM close in NYC on a Friday is absurd, but the bar in queensyard and the rose room was decently filled. We were sat and ordered our drinks & small bites. I ordered truffle fries and the waiter immediately stated "do you realize this is an $10 up charge for fresh truffle"? & it's kinda like I ordered it for a reason i don't know that sat with me the wrong way.. then when I received my food we were given rose shaped napkins that I hadn't put on my lap yet and then minutes later another person who worked there was like "you realize that's a napkin right". Our waiter couldn't care to be bothered I feel because we were sat late, he didn't even bring us water or check on us until we were done with our meal. The fries were salty and the espresso martinis were quite mediocre in my opinion. I suggest just getting drinks at the rose room & taking pictures here. read more

My goal after moving to NYC is to curate a solid NYC happy hour list! Queensyard was one of the first HH spots I've checked out. First off, their HH signature cocktails are solid. Had the Purple Rain cocktail and it was an ode to the late Queen Elizabeth. Felt interesting to drink her face but it was soo cool to create such a cocktail. Also loved the avocado smash with sweet potato chips appetizer! Ambiance is so nice too because you have a great view of the Hudson Yard Vessel if you sit close by the windows! I like the ambiance and the chairs. The restaurant feels shiny and new, and the chairs are well-upholstered and wide enough, with enough cushion. We were seated in the corner, with a great view of the Vessel and surrounding buildings. Very nice. The food is not the strong point of the restaurant, but it's okay. We all went with the prix fixe. The best options on the prix fixe required upcharges, which reduced the value benefit, taking the three course meal from $65 to $85+ depending on options. I really liked the Wagyu Carpaccio appetizer (Wagyu, fried capers, cured egg yolk, pickled shallots, togarashi). I found the salmon to be okay, though my Dad wasn't too thrilled with the filet mignon. My Panna Cotta was unimpressive. The banana sticky toffee pudding seems the way to go. Drink menu is satisfactory recipe-wise, but expensive, as each is over $20. The gender neutral restrooms are nice. You get a huge room all to yourself. Ended up going with the dinner prix fixe which ended up being great. Started with the Caesar and smashed avocado with sweet potato chips, both were delicious. I had the everything bagel salmon and my wife had the cacio Pepe bucatini. We split the Brussels sprouts. For dessert the banana nut toffee pudding was excellent. Had a glass of Caymus each. After reading a ton of reviews, I feel that we knew exactly what to order because we chose well. The drink was smooth and tasty and fun to look at. The burger was amazingly delicious, perfectly cooked, and its fries were my favorite! The grilled octopus was super tasty and cooked well. And the dessert, which we can't remember what it was, was so good! Not too sweet but full of flavor and the coconut sorbet was the best! As for the restaurant itself, it has a fun, spring vibe with its flowers, and has great views of the water and buildings outside. Service was okay ... I think our server had too many tables and was doing his best with a balancing act. I came here on a Friday night with a reservation for 6:30 and was able to be seated earlier. It is based on first come forst serve for where you'd be seated though. We did want a window seat but that wasn't available as they didn't know when each table would leave. Regardless, the servers were really attentive, though at one point several servers kept coming around asking if we were finished with our meal. The ambiance is quite ideal for a date night. Lights are also dimmed to become more romantic as the sun sets. They offer a prefixe menu along with a la carte. We opted for a la carte. We ordered the grilled octopus to start, the salmon and ribeye as the mains and a side of brussel sprouts. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and easy to eat. It wasn't chewy or anything and had the right amount of seasoning. The brussel sprouts were also nice and right amount of charr. The salmon was also cooked nicely, although the skin had a tad bit too much salt. The ribeye, we ordered medium, and it was just right, not overdone. Amazing food - poor service! This would have been a hands down 5 - as the food, ambiance and location are all amazing but my gosh - the service is really, really bad!! But food is so, so good !! I have seen multiple people try and flag down help for orders, checks etc. We received our appetizers pretty quickly but no one cleared them so when our food came - they had to flag down help to clear our table and get silverware. We were ready to order dessert and coffee - but after sitting here with no service for over 30 minutes,we are giving up and going to ask for your check if anyone ever comes by! And sadly there are multiple tables just in the same boat! Finally a busser helped as we never saw our waitress again. Food however is amazing ! We had the Burrata ( delicious ) , nibbles which is pickles, curried nuts and warm olives; and baba ghanoush - they were all really great! For main courses we had truffle risotto which was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten; kids enjoyed fish and chips with very authentic English peas and a burger ; and my husband had a full English breakfast. Food all amazing but have clue on dessert - looked good but as waitress was MIA we had to give up on it.
