Great find!! Super close to the promenade and easy access to street parking. Very quick response time and very personable. My sisters and I were quickly accommodated, I got the ombré dipping powder acrylics, my sister got a simple mani, and the other one got a gel acrylic. It was definitely a fun girls day out. The total cost was $99-$48 for ombré, $37 for gel, and $14 for the mani. As for for form of payment, they preferred Venmo, Zelle, or cash--I am not sure if they take credit/debit cards or ApplePay. Lena worked on my ombré nails and I highly recommend her! She is very detailed oriented on the nail colors and ombré technique and easy to talk to--I requested to have the nails cut a bit shorter and she happily obliged without making any smart or snide remarks which I really appreciate. I definitely will be coming back! Something to note on COVID-19 , They are operating outside the salon on the sidewalk and had 2 nail techs working inside abiding social distance regulations. communicated a time to come in to have a full set on myself and a pedicure on someone else, we came in and it was busy so we were asked to come back an hour later when they told us they would be able to take us both, so we did, but still waited 30 mins. So i ended up not getting the full set done because i didn't have time anymore, had a dinner reservation that it was getting too close to. i told the man that was gonna do my nails when he finally came back to the table, "im not going to get the full set anymore, i no longer can make it work. thank you though" then the man and the old lady that work here were super rude about me not being able to do my service. they rolled their eyes at me then started talking (i couldn't understand, it was in a different language) and shooting me dirty looks while i waited for the person i came with to get their pedicure. they didn't ask any questions or apologize for being extremely late but instantly treated me poorly! so rude and terrible treatment. do not recommend this salon, they do not know how to fulfill a service. save your money for a better establishment, that actually cares about you and your time. jeez. read more

Don't come here if you want to get gaslit by a mentally unstable business owner. This used to be my go to spot until the last 3 times I've gone to get a service....I have left unhappy due to a couple different reasons, and todays experience being the cherry on top. Brace yourself. The last two times I went, I called ahead of time (which I always do) to make an appointment, yet Leena still has me wait 20 or so minutes to be seen. I don't say anything because I get it, things happen. I'm too nice apparently. One of the times she completely forgets I requested to have my fill done with her and had to be seen by someone else who did NOT know how to do nails all all. I had to ask Leena to fix them after I had already been there for 40 mins because they looked like a child had attempted acrylic. My whole experience was 2 hours. During that experience LEENA had another appointment waiting to get a pedicure, but to our surprise, does not know time management and had no one to serve her at her requested appointment. The customer became a little upset and asked Leena how much longer it'd be after having to wait 20 minutes. Leena told the customer another 10 or 15 mins, the customer stood up for herself saying this kept happening and Leena started YELLING at the customer in the most narcissistic way basically not validating her feeling on being upset having to wait after she had an appointment, when it was clearly leenas fault. It was the most UNCOMFORTABLE experience for me in that moment and seeing the way Leena speaks to her clients was baffling to me. I told myself after that service I would not be coming back. UNTIL... two of my nails broke not even a week after my new fill. I call ahead of time like i always do, even called when i was running late. When i got there Leena said the broken nails were my fault and she will have to charge me. I told her my side of the story on how easily they broke by simply pulling up my pants and opening my purse. I didn't even realize it happened until after. She immediately got defensive and started YELLING at me. Telling me I was calling her stupid and that she's been doing nails for 10 years, that I couldn't come in here being rude to her and calling her stupid. This went on for awhile as i sat there in the chair SHOCKED what was happening. I literally froze because I did not know how to respond or what to do. I almost got up and walked out, which I should have done. I tried to tell her I wasn't being rude, I was just telling her how they broke. During her ego powered rant, she goes on to say over and over "NO ONE DOES NAILS LIKE ME. YOU WONT FIND ANYONE WHO DOES NAILS LIKE ME." I cannot make this up. Then went on saying I needed to calm down over and over. (I was extremely calm) sitting there dumbfounded. Then she went on to say how rude it was i was late. This is when i stood up for myself... given the last two times she was late to seat me yet I didn't say anything because...THINGS HAPPEN. It felt abusive the way she was speaking to me, as a regular who comes every 3 weeks and spends a buttload of money and then experience a full on mental breakdown from her. It was so bizarre. She even told me to pull up my phone records because she didn't believe me when I told her how long it's been since getting my fill. Like what?? I ended up getting my nails fixed, and immediately her tone changed back to the sweet Leena I've gotten to know since going there. I told her this would be the last time I'm coming here because of my experience, she snapped and said "that's fine i don't need you." Pick your nail place wisely ladies. I had a horrible & frustrating time @ Queen Nails in Long Beach! I went in for a fill/pedicure. The older woman that did my pedicure was horrible & unreasonable and threw a hissy fit! Not only did she place on the wrong color but she just wanted to place the color I had chosen ON TOP of the WRONG color she had placed already! Nicely, I told her to please remove the WRONG color and then placed my chosen color. All of a sudden she wanted to take a "break" or use the "bathroom" like the owners tried to bullshit me with. I had to wait extra for the woman owner to fix my toenails color. Her husband did my fill. I have 2 nails that have already fallen off!! I addressed the woman doing my pedicure and the man owner told me "she's taking a break, or in the bathroom" when all this time she was just in the break room talking shit and doing nothing! Unless you get your nails done by the owner, don't go! The owners dismiss clients and will make you wait! Most importantly, their tools were not sterilized and DISGUSTING! Especially after removing foot callus and then using the same tool on another client!! I'd rather pay more and get better service! Unless you want fungus on your nails!! read more
