This joint is nestled in the 16th shopping mall area by the movie theater, so good choice if you need to eat before/after the theater. My food was presented well and the server was extremely acommodating to me! Having a great server can really make decent things excellent! They have several tables outside in the front patio during nice weather and a Happy Hour Mon - Fri 3 to 5. Those hours are a bit tough, but I always feel happy hours are worth it if you can swing the days/times. My house margarita was well done and yes, I could taste the booze, yay! I saw several people going by with the large fruit fresca drinks traditional in Mexico (Auguas Frescas). Looks like they really do them right, here! Families with kids seemed to be loving it. The menu is a little messy, typos, and some of it is all over the place! Crepes, what?! They should get that in a bit more professional-looking and reading order. But, I enjoyed myself and would definitely take this spot over the loud, obnoxious Mexican joint across the street! Food is better here. Or the down the street where service kinda sucks.

Delicious mango margarita and frozen mangonada. Quesabirria tacos were excellent- so flavorful, cheesy, and complimented by the consomme Fish taco was also a hit- fresh fried fish, crema, mango salsa Highly recommend!

In the 16th Street Mall, I was craving tacos on Taco Tuesday. Yelp reviews sent me here. Taco Tuesday special at $12. (See pic) The beans were meh, as was the rice. They elevated each other. The strawberry horchata was bomb! The tacos are more mini than street tacos, but a good two bites. Service was attentive. Place was clean. I recommend it to the convention-goers. Locals, please find something better.

Went during happy hour and got chips and guacamole and a frozen watermelon margarita from the happy hour menu. The guacamole was ok but I think it needed a little more lime and salt. I like that they use real fruit in their margarita and you could taste how fresh it was. My only complaint is it wasn't strong enough tequila. The server suggested I get the frozen margarita because they add an extra shot so it doesn't get watered down quickly but i didn't taste or feel the extra shot. I wanted to compare it to a regular margarita but service was so slow after the crowd came and the server didn't get back to my table until after happy hour ended. They also have weekly specials. I came on Wednesday which is 2 for 1 Quesobirrias. The tacos themselves were really good. The meat was tender and tasty. The consumme was very oily and hard to enjoy with the quesobirrias. I usually like to eat my consumme after the tacos are gone but because it was way too oily, I didn't want to finish it. Overall, it was just ok. Some things were better than others and the server was friendly but I think he was overwhelmed and needed help because he was acting as a host, waiter, and food runner for every table.

Wow, so this is in the Denver Pavilions where Motomaki used to be and I and a colleague stopped in here on a whim, wow what a great place with a really good menu. The service is excellent and like I said the menu items are really well done, they have food for all food types and a large drink menu as well. The atmosphere is laid back, we didn't have any appetizers but I did order their Que Rico salad with grilled chicken and creamy cilantro dressing, one of the best salads I have had in a while, it had sliced almonds, spinach, arugula, apples, strawberries and few other delicious items that made the salad absolutely delicious. My colleague had a nacho dish and carne asada street tacos, overall great food and service and if you're looking for a good lunch this is it. Will definitely be going here again.

Don't sleep on the corn tortillas. They were some of the best I've ever had. Portion size was big and seriously... did I mention how good the tortillas were?

This was my first Denver eats stop and my discovery of Birria Ramen. Just go ahead and order it. It was very salty but it made sense for it to me. Service was great as well. I also ordered the green juice which was yummy and large! And, the shaved ice that i could've done without... it was the chunky ice texture instead of the fine texture that i enjoy. I'd come back!

This was such a fun restaurant. We stopped in for drinks and had a really good server. He kept the drinks coming and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks here are really good. My party also ordered tacos that they all enjoyed! The queso and chips were also really tasty

Very disappointing. First, most of the menu images say Happy Hour is 3:00-6:00. That's no longer true. It is now 3-5. The place was empty, yet the service was very slow. We planned dinner, but decided we would just have a margarita and go somewhere else for dinner. Not sure why so many positive reviews, that was not our experience. The margaritas were very good. I can't vouch for the food since we decided to go elsewhere.

Visiting from out of state. In 2-3 days this was the first place I went to with good food AND good drinks! I love cocktails and margaritas and they got them right! The food was delicious! You have to try the birria ramen! It was busy but our server was on it! The food, the ambiance, the service all gave very authentic Mexican vibes.

Where do o begin.. Food: Their menu has a great variety of food options, tacos, birria ramen, loaded fruit and burgers. Everything was really good, a bit on the pricey side but not too bad. Ambience: Very clean, lots of seating and great for bigger groups Service: Everyone was great, but they were really slow. There were only 3 other people and our group of 5 waited for 35min to get drinks and food. They also forgot one of our main dishes and an agua fresca. We had to go up to ask about them after about 15-20min

This is the Michelin restaurant that you go to if you like a more casual / less stuffy experience. Food: 4 Every dish that we ordered was delicious, but slightly on the heavy side without anything light/acidic to break it up. Perhaps it's because of what we chose to order though! Frijoles Puerco: This was a play on refried beans and chorizo. The chorizo has a little kick to it. The sourdough tortillas were delicious and served fresh and warm. Callo De Hacha Al Horno: The scallops were a flavor bomb served in a serrano ponzu and tomato butter. I'm unsure why the scallops were cut into smaller pieces instead of left whole... Enmoladas De Pollo: This was essentially chicken enchiladas cooked in mole so I was skeptical if I would find this dish worthwhile. They proved me wrong as this was one of the best dishes of the night. The mole was flavorful, not too heavy, and the chicken enchilada was so well cooked. Birria De Borrego: The lamb shank was cooked until it was fork tender. After taking it apart, wrap it in a fresh and warm tortilla with refried corn beans and salsa. The lamb was well cooked and made for a good balanced bite, but it did feel special. Service: 5 We set at the chef table and was able to watch as they finished and plated each dish. The chef was attentive without being overbearing/annoying and we had a good conversation with him. Food came out at a good pace. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is small and cozy. It didn't feel stifling or pretentious as other fine dining restaurants can sometimes feel. This would be perfect for a date or dinner with friends.

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it.
