I was referred to quality auto body from my dealership after I got into a small accident. I went there for detailing yesterday and they were super efficient and did a great job. The work they did was great and the customer service was awesome. They didn't try and charge me for little stuff I didn't need and were very upfront. Would absolutely recommend! read more

I've used Quality Body Shop twice. Both times they exceeded my expections. Price is very fair. Work is outstanding. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. read more

Quality Auto Body did a great job repairing my car. I was T-boned and had a good amount of damage. When I received my car it was in great condition. If I ever need work done I will definitely be using this shop again. read more

I haven't used QBS for work (yet) but I was rather impressed with what I saw online via BMW forum websites, their own website, and Yelp reviews so I gave them a call. Ricky was very friendly and professional over the phone. I decided to stop by and have him take a look at my car. He was very honest and straightforward. He also took the time to chat a bit about his business in a very non-sales way. I liked that he (and members of his staff) are BMW trained. I ultimately decided with him to not have anything done at this time (am I a bit anal about my car and what I needed was very minor) but I will give Ricky a call (god-forbid) I should ever need their service for anything more serious. read more

Stopped in to Quality after seeing the good reviews. I was lucky enough to meet Karen, the nice lady at the front desk. I told her I scraped up my truck in a parking lot and wanted to see if I could get someone to look at it, maybe buff it out if possible. Really did not know what was needed, just wanted that big black scrape off my beautiful white truck. Larry came out and looked at it, I told him I pulled a bonehead move and he replied "we specalize in bonehead moves". Larry is a cool dude. So in less that 1/2 hour the black mark was gone. Larry showed me that I scratched the paint a little and answerd my questions. All for what I consider an unbeliveably affordable price....What body shop drops everything for a walk in anyway?? Larry does!! This place is awesome! Cool people are....well....cool. read more

This place is top notch in customer service. I will never use anybody else to repair my car ever again. Ricki (one of the owners) saved me money and a headache. He personally handled working out some kinks with my auto insurance. Take your vehicle to Quality Body Shop. You will be happy you did! read more

Dealing with a family owned business makes all the difference! They took me as a walk-in and they were able to fix my bumper while I waited. And the price was more than fair. I'll be doing any future body work with these guys. They were recommended to me by my buddies at Friendly Car Care, who I trust. Great recommendation! read more

Phenomenal customer service from the time I walked in to the time my car was ready for pick up. Santiago and Tom quickly took photos and sent the estimate to their insurance. He assured me he would handle everything and kept his promise. I dropped off my car and they had someone waiting in the lobby to take me to Enterprise rentals. No real big inconveniences and my car looked better than it looked when I bought it. when I went to pick it up but Santiago and his crew did a fabulous job making my QX8O was showroom floor ready. They went above and beyond. I'd definitely recommend quality auto body to anyone and especially those with high standards. read more

Our teenage daughter totaled her first car after only 6 months driving. We decided to purchase her another car a few months later. 2 weeks after the purchase, she was backed into, crushing her fender. Needless to say she was devastated. That is when Quality Body shop came to the rescue. Tom and Buster were able to get us in quick and work with the insurance to ensure that our car was delivered to our expectations. Thank you so much for the great customer service! If you need a vehicle repaired, this is where you want to go. Awesome Job:) And our Teenager is happy again. read more

I recently took my 2006 Kia Sedona to Quality Body Shop with a badly damaged passenger door, fender, and suspension issues. Larry was able to assist me with excellent service, I had know worries when speaking with him. He was out to help us in every way including speaking with our lender thru a conference call.Superb customer service given and thanks to all others who were involved. Quality Body Shop gets a BRAVO ZULU! from this navy vet. Thanks read more

Great experience! Even though I only came in to get a small scratch buffed out Rick treated me like a valuable customer. The guys in the shop did a great job, and were straight forward about the amount of repair they could do without major body work. Very pleased with thier work and will be recommending them to friends and family. read more

They did an excellent and timely repair to our Ford F250. Santiago was very responsive and helpful during the process.

Great work. They're honest and professional. I'll take my car there in the future if I ever need body work done.

Larry and Ricky are PHENOMENAL human beings, not to mention car experts. They really provide such high quality services. They follow through on everything they say they will with respect for and joy toward the customer. I will never go to anyone else as long as I am in Austin!!!!! read more

These guys are great! I've been here before but this time they seemed to surpass their own high standards. The door they fixed is perfect, but the car was returned to me impeccably detailed. Even the engine was clean! They called to give me updates as the insurance got approved and also to let me know how the work was going. I will never use another auto body shop, and I recommend that you don't either. read more

I could not ask for better service, quality of work or excellent rates. I knew as soon as I talked with Santiago that my car was in good hands. Excellent all the way around! My car looks amazing! Great work, Santiago! Thank you so much! read more

Best body shop in town. Honest and trustworthy. Very reasonably priced. I have been taking my vehicles to Larry for over 20 years now and they have always presented excellent work at a fair price. Wouldn't take my business anywhere else. read more

Dropped off our VW Passat 2 days ago, and picked it up this afternoon. I'm SO happy with the work that they did. The cost was three times less than two other quotes from nearby competitors. One place said they'd have to replace the trunk and quoted close to $3000. Another place said they couldn't repair it. I paid around $600 and you can't see that there was ever a dent. Someone had backed into the trunk leaving a pretty large dent on the trunk and an edge of the trunk was smashed in which made it more challenging to repair. Also, the car was cleaned up inside and out when we picked it up, and I believe they must have polished it too because it looks like a shiny new car!! I highly recommend this business and if we're unfortunate enough to need more body work (with two teens driving now chances are favorable) then I will take my cars back to them. Also they give a life time guarantee on their work! read more

Quality Auto Body - Body Shops Near Me - Austin, Texas

I had some work done at this shop to the hood and fender of my car. It took forever, four weeks! After receiving the car back I noticed that it had not been painted around the edges of the fender. I should have taken notice to how things were being handled because then I would not have brought my car in this last time and been treated so rudely. Once Ricky decided that he had lost me as a customer he made no attempt to have any customer service at all, in fact told me that I should have done the work myself if I wanted it done faster. What used to be a great shop is now worthless and has lost all integrity and character as well as workmanship. Don't use this shop, you will regret it. read more

I have used Quality several times since the 80s, fortunately only once for collision repair. I am a car guy, and have owned several modern and vintage BMWs and Porsches, and wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. I just had them repair some rust damage on my old 911. Rickie and Larry were both candid in their assessment, and cautioned me against spending more money than I should on the car. I was able to visit and watch as Robert repaired the rust with new metal. My car was also a bit of a patchwork of old and older paint that didn't quite match at some seams, and without painting the whole car, they were able to match the color perfectly and make it beautiful. It might take a little longer than one of the fast-food style collision centers, but for me the results speak for themselves. Thanks guys, and while I hope I don't need your services very often, I sure am glad you are here! read more

Great, fast service. When I say fast, I mean fast. I have an 2013 F-150 that had damage to the fender flare and the sides were all scratched up and they got me in and out in 20 minutes. Not to mention, they're great people. Don't waste your time and money anywhere else. Make Quality your first stop read more

I have an eight year Corvette that has been babied and garage kept since new. Unfortunately I ran over an object in the road that damaged the carbon fiber fender and fiberglass driver door. I took the car to Quality Body shop expecting the usual headaches of putting the car in someone else's hands for a few days. The car was finished on time, the job was flawless and my car returned in absolute pristine condition. The shop staff and the owner were exceptional to deal with. If the need ever arises again, I will certainly return. read more

I wrecked my brand new (new to me anyway) Explorer and they made it look better than when I took it in! They kept me posted on the progress without me having to call them! Also, one tire was completely demolished and they managed to include it in the estimate so all I had to pay was the deductible. These guys are the new owners of Quality Body Shop and as someone else has said - they blew it out of the park! I am very happy and I wish them great success! read more

YES !!! This is the place to have your vehicle fixed. I had my car fixed here after hitting some big road debris on I-35. Santiago in the office is excellent. He is respectful, sincere, honest, and a good communicator. Santiago didn't BS me about how long it would take, he was upfront from the beginning even with things that I didn't want to hear. ( I'll take someone being straight with me over someone who makes commitments they can't meet any day.) Additionally and this is the big part for me. I felt like I was important to Quality Auto Body. They cared about my repair, my schedule, and seemed to work actively for my best interest in regards to expense. Finally, the quality of the repair is excellent. The care looks great, paint matches perfectly, no orange peel, it looks better than new !! Oh, also they cleaned my car spotless and gave me a ride when I dropped off the car, so I didn't have to get a ride! Ya, these guys ROCK !! read more

I had a fantastic experience with Quality. My car was broken into (smashed window and bent larger window frame piece) at a shopping center... less than 24 hours after picking it up from the mechanic. Money was an issue, but I still wanted my new-to-me car to look good. When I asked about used parts, Larry located one in great shape and I was on my way. Looks good as new. I really appreciate Larry going the extra mile to help me figure out my options. Great family run business. Thanks Quality! read more

This place was awesome! I had a few deep scratches from a small wreck that I needed fixed on my 2005 Range Rover and they went above and beyond! When I went in to get the estimate I waited a whole 5 minutes (while playing with the CUTEST little office french bulldog) before they got that done for me. Quick, efficient, and less than I expected! When I was ready to bring my car in I dropped it off next day, no long wait for an appointment. It took them three days to fix everything and she was ready to go! I had some way more minor scratches on the other side of my car that I wasn't ready to fix yet since an insurance company was paying for my main reason for coming to Quality. Without me even asking or bringing them up they cleaned them up for me so they are way less noticeable! They also cleaned out the inside of my car which desperately needed it! Santiago was my main point person there and he was great. I couldn't be happier with the experience, definitely recommend! read more

My car was "keyed" leaving a prominent scratch across three panels of my 2003 dark blue Lexus LS430, a car I recently purchased after looking for six months. I had in hand from another shop an estimate requiring repainting of the three panels, but was skeptical they had the skill to match the complex Lexus paint. I found Quality after an Internet search and being from old Austin I was attracted to their history and independence. Rickie Thompison approached the problem with interest and business-like craftsmanship and removed 95% of the scratch for 1/30th of the cost of the first estimate, knowing he could have sold me on repainting all three panels. I recommend them unequivocally. Weston M. Binford, Jr read more

In a word...WOW! I brought my brand new Jeep (read 2000 miles) to Rickie after paint damage was caused by a shop I had a little work done by. They referred me to Quality Body Shop and assured me that they are not some shoddy shop. Being thoroughly outraged after seeing the damage, I went home and looked up Quality Body Shop online since I was too upset to call Rickie that night. After seeing their website, seeing their smiling, trusting faces and all of the beautiful, expensive cars they work on I was able to call Rickie. I mentioned the shop that referred me and Rickie right away made me feel that I was in good hands. I brought my Jeep by the next day and almost cried when Rickie assessed the damage and told me what it would take to restore her. He said the last thing he wants to do to a new car is paint it. I dropped her off and the next day I picked her up...showroom quality!! I am absolutely amazed at how perfect she looks. From the first phone call to the moment Rickie handed me her keys when she was fixed, the experience was fantastic. I felt so cared for by the entire staff. Saul is the mastermind that brought my Jeep back to beautiful! I was so happy when I picked her up today that Rickie got a hug. I hate to ramble on, but my point is...if you ever need body work done you should most definitely take your car here. Not only do they do amazing work they are so wonderfully nice! Thank you so much Quality Body shop!! read more

Quality did a seamless job with my VW Touareg: paint, bumper and window regulator. I was dealing with an insurance claim and all that, but those guys managed to help me get everything sorted out. Payments were easily handled and the car looked great. I highly recommend. read more

Honest, quick evaluation of the small scrape on my car. They gave me two options: total fix or paint touch-up. The paint touch-up took roughly five minutes, and I was on my way. Highly recommend this shop! read more

Always great service !!! Got some body work done here last year and not only was it completed early but ended up being $200 less then the quoted price. I have also gone back to get some minor scratches removed and other minor work done which they performed for free !! Love this place... Got hit in a parking lot so decided to take my car to Calibar Collision on S.Lamar bc it was close to my house... I couldn't even been seen to get an estimate...even though I left work early to get there... they told me to come back the next day... so I did...took forever to get the estimate, and when I did, they couldn't even get my car in for repair for a week.... Awful... So my father told me to go to Quality Body Shop. He had taken his cars and my car in the past there for repair. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I just walked in... said hi to the guys, they went out and did an estimate... printed it out, i left my car that day.. picked it up on that Friday. Easy breezy... no nickle and diming, no bull... these guys are honest and knowledgeable... Showed me what needed to be done...my car looked gorgeous. I love these guys. Such great customer service. My dad has taken his porsche here, my BMW, my moms mercedes... They really know how to take care of luxury vehicles. read more

Dear Larry (and all of Q.B.S.) I have become so accustomed to poor customer service in everyday life, that it truly has to be outstanding service for me to take the time to spotlight a company for a job well done. But after the "magic" you performed on my car last week, I just have to praise you once again. I drove into your place at 4 pm on a weds to get a second estimate at the request of the person who caused the damage to my car. The first estimate I got was 1300 dollars to replace my rear bumper. When you looked at the damage, you said it could possibly be more. But forget the cost the cost of repair. Since my car is Australian built, it would be difficult to locate a replacement bumper in the states. Defeated, I remember telling you that I thought it might be possible that the dent in my bumper could be pounded out with a mallet. Out of nowhere, you said you could do it for 50 bucks. It was almost like a Vegas bet. So....I put my 50 bucks down and gave you the keys. I had absolutely no hopes of you even coming CLOSE to like new condition, but had nothing to lose. After spending 20 minutes in the waiting room, I was called to the shop to see my car. I still recall the first words out of my mouth when i saw my car....."YOU are a magician!" It was almost as if nothing ever happened. Oh.....there was a couple of tiny scratches, but you hid them quite nicely with some touch up paint. So, in less time and less cost of a good meal at a fancy restaurant, you made my car look brand new again. I really don't know what to tell you I am the happiest with. The fact that you took me as a walk in customer off the street......or the fact that you repaired in less than an hour......or the fact that you practically repaired it for free in my eyes. The only sad note in this letter is that the lady who hit me never compensated me for the damages she caused. But, the service I received from you more than made up for the damages she caused. Its comforting to know that good, honest, and quality people like you still exist in this day and age. You saved me from a lot of lost time and heartache. Thanks again for fixing "Hogan". Its happy motoring once again. Sincerely, Gary W. read more
