Called Chote's to tow a dead car to the dealership. They told me 1-2 hours to arrive, and they arrived in 1 hour. Their driver Jesse was professional and courteous, and what they quoted me for the tow what what I was charged at the end. What more could you ask for? Use these guys if you need a tow! read more

Driver went to lunch while delivering my vehicle. Dealership had been expecting him sooner. However, the vehicle arrived safely.

These guys were very friendly and professional and really helped during this stressful time. They were very easy to get in touch with and responsive as well as affordable! They called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way and when I told them my eta they were more than okay with waiting till I arrived. I'll absolutely recommend them and call them back for their services. read more

After me getting upset, she found my number and who was texting me, well, didn't give the " tech" very good info, SO, we are starting over. They did an incredible job. The owner, Mike, personally came to assist with the tow of my car because it was a somewhat complex and tricky tow. Super stand up dude and good person. Highly recommend! read more

Mike, the owner, is a stand-up individual. He had a quick response from the moment I called him for his towing services. Not only was he fast but went above and beyond, on his own, by helping look for my phone that I thought I dropped in the parking lot. If your need quick and professional towing Chote's towing is by far the best I have work with. 5 stars doesn't do his service justice. read more

Excellent response and action taken. The rep even showed me how to unlock my brake with a manual key:) the key fobs were useless!

I had a car that was a lemon and I just needed to get it towed quickly and this guy showed up really fast and he was really friendly and took care of a big nasty problem for me. I really loved the service and it was super easy to set up and fast. Excellent! read more

I'm having a crappy Monday morning.. Clutch mysteriously went out in truck and after limping it into work, Chote's was recommended to me by the repair shop I found. First off, dispatcher was super kind and patient. I was juggling two calls simultaneously, and the other one had me on hold for 20 minutes before magically picking while I was on phone with Chotes. I would not have blamed the dispatched if they just hung up on me, but they didn't. The dispatcher made sure I had all the information I needed before making a decision, wasn't high pressure, and listened to me babble about where my vehicles was parked within the lot. Zack, the tow truck driver, showed up shortly afterwards and was also very kind. I watched up load my truck up and despite it being an old beater truck. He was very detailed oriented, and took care to ensure my truck got on the flatbed safely, without rushing. Price is comparable to other tow services in my experience, but service is waaayy better. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Chotes customer service is top notch. I confused another company's truck with their company and they were VERY helpful in helping me straighten it all out. That's says a LOT about a company that could have just blown me off, but instead helped me. read more

They picked up my Ford F150 and took it to the dealership. There were no problems with the pick up or delivery. Plus they were $50 cheaper than a competitor. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Mike and his crew did everything in their power to make a horrible situation better. Instead of trying to find ways to fatten their pockets, they searched diligently for ways to ease my stress levels by improvising and coming up with options that were the most cost effective and efficient ways to get the job done. I had already been taken advantage of by the previous wrecker service I used to a job. After hearing this, he made it his mission to keep the cost down while producing the most effective result. I would re commend Chote's to anyone looking for a square deal from a wrecker service. read more

Fast and super reliable! Called and he was able to quote me a price before the tow (you prepay), and gave me a time estimate, which wasn't long at all. The whole process was smooth as butter, and the conversation during the ride was delightful. Nice man, would highly recommend this towing service to all my friends and family! read more

I had a clutch issue with my car last night. I called Chote's based off their yelp reviews. I've never had to get a vehicle towed so I wasn't sure what to expect. Incredible service. Got me out of a tough spot. If you need anything at all, Mike is the man to help you out.

I needed a tow from the most inconvenient and high traffic spot in Austin the day my car broke down. I was frazzled and quite stressed out when I reached out but from start to finish Chote's was absolutely kind, courteous and professional. Also hats off to the driver who had to endure that awful traffic to get to us (it really was the worst place to breakdown.) read more

Honest dudes. Helped get my ex's car towed and we're reliable, fast, and no bullshit.

Chote's did a great job making sure our low to the ground car didn't scrape on the concrete. Love it when you find a company like this that respects other people's property! Thanks for doing such a great job! read more

Great tow company to work with. When I was broke down the shop recommended this service. When I called, Joe said he could do it but would be a couple hours (he was stuck down South). He said he would call around and find someone to help. Thirty minutes later another tow driver showed up (Zack) and was able to get me to the shop quickly. I rode with Zack. He was friendly and we had some good conversation. The charge was to the shop and was reasonable. I would highly recommend calling these guys if you find yourself stranded. read more

AMAZING tow service and such a great company to work with! Not only are the owners willing to go out of their way to help their customers, but they also are a family-owned business with the mindset that they "want to make sure they get everyone home safely." I was in a terrible car accident and was needing my vehicle to be towed two hours away from Austin to College Station, Texas. I called them on a Friday and I was absolutely amazed that Ray was kindly willing to personally tow my vehicle for me ON A SUNDAY!!! The amount of care for their customers and willingness to go above and beyond to help me when I was in desperate need meant the world to me and I will always HIGHLY recommend choosing this tow service in Austin and surrounding areas! 10/10 recommend!!! read more

I'm pretty familiar with tow services as I own a classic car which gets plenty of mechanical issues and now I'm only going to use Chote's from now on due to their fast, friendly service and competitive pricing. Today I needed to get my old VW bus to the shop and I got prompt attention by calling Chote's. Mike took great care of my car and was a good guy to chat with while the car was getting setup on the flatbed. Folks if you need a tow then these are the people to talk to! read more

Chote's Towing Service - My VW bus - Towing Near Me

Today was my first tow truck experience. I called, a nice lady named Carmen answered and patiently took down source and destination addresses. Her husband Greg also works there so it seems like a nice family business. A tow truck came pretty fast; there is a warning call about five minutes before it arrives. It was quite fun and educational. Dave was nice about letting me take photos, answering questions, and letting customers ride with them. The task was done patiently, calmly, and smoothly under the hot July sun. Dave was friendly, thorough, organized, and skilled at maneuvering large vehicles through narrow spaces. I used to have this impression that tow truck drivers like to extort customers but left with a favorable impression after seeing how much care, time, and patience is required when moving cars. The price actually seemed fair after that even though it's still a lot compared to general things. I would call Chote's Wrecker Service again. They take cash, checks, credit cards, etc... which was awesome since I only had $11 in cash and none of my ATM cards would work that afternoon. read more

Needed a last minute tow for a non-running vehicle that was kind of a pain to get to and Chote's came to the rescue! I've been really screwed by Aviles & Gabe and have resorted to towing my own stuff with a u-haul ever since that incident, but I was in a jam and I can't be more thankful that I was told about these folks! Everything I deal with is usually lowered, or rare which for some reason is a problem for most people, but not Chote's. The drivers are above and beyond professional, as well as honest and helpful. They respected and treated our vehicle as if they were loading their mothers car. Hands down, if you're in the Austin or surrounding area, this is who you call! read more

I needed to move my 1965 Mustang from a rental house to a new house. The car was a roller without an engine or brakes. I've been towed a couple of times by these guys and the rest of my family has as well. They are a 24 hour service which is a lifesaver. The last time I needed a tow, the guy fought traffic all the way up to Round Rock to come get me and even though he was in a hurry to get to a call that needed clearing up on the highway, he was still patient and careful with my car. He asked me what was wrong with it when he arrived, not in a "you stupid woman driver" way but just to make sure there was nothing to impede his ability to haul it up onto the back of his truck (it was a radiator that I had busted wide open so it was entirely my fault). He knew exactly where the garage was that I wanted it taken to when I described the place even though I was worried he wouldn't know where it was since I didn't know the address off the top of my head. I also like the fact the couple of times they've towed me they used a truck that loads the car entirely up on the bed so it rides along sitting in place instead of being dragged backwards with the front wheels on the ground. It probably doesn't make much difference whether its dragged or carried but being carried up on the bed just looks like a much more comfortable position for a car to ride along in. I keep them on speed dial and definitely recommend them as the first people to call when you need towing. I don't know what a standard rate for a tow is but $60 seemed reasonable to me perhaps mainly because I was so grateful to them for fighting rush hour traffic to come to the rescue. read more
