They did not have a separate countertop to make gluten-free sandwiches safely. Instead, they used a rag to try to wipe off any crumbs in the main area, but it was pretty ineffective. We left because it was just so unsafe to be able to eat there for anyone who cannot have gluten.

I've only ever been to JM's in this location, but honestly, I'm glad I switched to this from Subway several years back! Subs are WAY better here! I would say over the years, the quality has averaged to a 4 out of 5. That's because while these sandwiches are good, they're something you would get if you want something quick. I will say however that alongside Starbucks, this is the closest fast food place we have to me giving it the full 5 stars. If you'd like to order what I would get, grab the #26, take out the tomatoes, but then add extra bacon and extra cheese and put it on the Rosemary Parmesan bread. After that, grab up some Miss Vickie's Smokehouse BBQ chips and get yourself a Mountain Dew or a Gatorade and have yourself a time. Hits the spot every time!

As a Middle Eastern food lover, I was blown away by their shawarma platter, salads, and everything else on the menu it was all top-notch. I visited New York a month ago and then headed to Connecticut. While there, I searched for the best restaurants and found this fast-food spot. I absolutely loved it! The way they received customers and the level of hospitality was outstanding. The people there were amazing. For me great customer service makes the whole experience and they nailed it. Now, let's talk about the food it tasted incredible. They told me they also serve biryani and haleem and as a huge haleem fan, I had to try it. I'll never forget that taste! I even asked to meet the chef and they introduced me to Chef Bala. He made an unforgettable haleem that truly tasted like the original Hyderabadi Nizami haleem. I asked him how he made it and he told me he's from Hyderabad and does this work with passion not just for money. You could really feel that in the food. The prices were surprisingly affordable but the food was high-end. The quality, the people, the taste everything was superb. Honestly, this was one of my best experiences in years. I'm definitely coming back again, at least for the haleem! Their biryani was also incredibly flavorful it felt like I was eating back home in Hyderabad, India. You guys are number one! Please maintain the same quality and standards you're well on your way to being the best in North America. I was in Norwalk, Connecticut for three days and I wholeheartedly enjoyed your food. The gyros, salads with egg, chicken sandwiches, wings, falafel you name it, you gave 100%! I love the food and service. They also have lamb and beef gyros, though I didn't try the beef since I don't eat it. Thank you for an unforgettable experience keep doing what you're doing!

FOOD POISONING!!!…read more This is a follow up to my previous review of this location. My mom and I decided to give it another try and see if they had improved their cleanliness. We visited the Danbury Rd location on Friday evening (March 21, 2025) around 5pm. My mom ordered a bowl with pork and I had a bowl with chicken. The chicken didn't taste quite the same, but I didn't think much of it. By Saturday afternoon I was belching a lot (which is not something I do) and I felt weak. By 11pm, I had to run to the toilet. It was a horrible night full of explosive &%#% and projectile vomitting -which I had never experienced before. I'll spare Yelp the gory details, but it lasted 3 days. This location was still dirty on the tables and other areas I had mentioned in my last review, but the kitchen looked ok. -I guess not. Yesterday I read an article listing the 3 dirtiest fast food restaurants in the country: Taco Bell, Burger King, and CHIPOTLE! It'll be a long time before I go there again. Beware.

It was quite busy when we arrived on a late Sunday a.m. in January. Tables were filled and there was a line for ordering. We decided on a tomato cheddar soup and the Churn it Up sandwich with Havarti and provolone. We were told the wait would be 40 mins, giving us the option to wait it out or go elsewhere. We stuck it out and the food was at our table in less than 20 mins. The sandwiches were ooey gooey toasted cheesiness and paired perfectly with the creamy tomato soup. It came with a lighty dressed arugula salad. I had a freshly brewed ice tea and my dining partner got a Dr. Brown's soda. The breakfast rush was soon over but people were still coming in to eat and grab take out while we enjoyed our meals. They also offer beers and wines and hot chocolate. The entire place was very clean, including the restrooms, although I did not see any table wiping going on. Staff were smiling and polite. Plenty of parking in lot shared with other business.

This immediately caught my attention because this was the place that replaced Tom E Toes after it closed its doors back in 2020. Honestly, while I do miss Tom E Toes, I am glad this was the restaurant that took its place. It's basically your next step up from fast food, but the beef here has always been good whenever I've ordered from them. The people working there are always nice and will answer any questions I might have. It's also a very convenient place for those who are spending their day here in Wilton. My visits here have been almost exclusively while I was going to or from work. I usually pay quite a bit when I come here because I customize my meals, but that's part of the charm I've come to love about this place. It also helps that my customizations always make my meals from here extremely filling. For example, my burger today was a Build Your Own Golden Style Double (Golden Style meaning it is mustard grilled) with cheddar, bacon, cheese sauce, crunchy onions, chips, and BBQ Aioli, and my fries were Bacon Cheese Fries toasted in K-Town Sauce. May I just say that these were both yummy and satisfying! One thing I should note since I am looking at my receipt as I am writing this review, this is the first restaurant in the state that uses Zero Acre Farms Oil in 90% of its food prep and has been doing so for over 2 years (January 2024 was when they started this). Well the mistake I made was not realizing there were different variations. The sandwich I got was not the honey mustard version but a basic spicy recipe. As for flavor it was spicy for the sake of being spicy, no balance compared to Popeyes. It did have good crunch the chicken itself was moist. You actually saw and tasted the lettuce and tomatoes. For a store that was empty it seemed to take a while for my order to arrive. Another downside I found it difficult to understand the person behind the counter so that could have added to not knowing the sandwich I wanted was not what I ordered. The store itself was clean and inviting.
