Another Wilton eatery I've been to that I haven't really gotten around to reviewing, so I guess today was Press Burger's time because why not? This immediately caught my attention because this was the place that replaced Tom E Toes after it closed its doors back in 2020. Honestly, while I do miss Tom E Toes, I am glad this was the restaurant that took its place. It's basically your next step up from fast food, but the beef here has always been good whenever I've ordered from them. The people working there are always nice and will answer any questions I might have. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also a very convenient place for those who are spending their day here in Wilton.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My visits here have been almost exclusively while I was going to or from work. I usually pay quite a bit when I come here because I customize my meals, but that's part of the charm I've come to love about this place. It also helps that my customizations always make my meals from here extremely filling. For example, my burger today was a Build Your Own Golden Style Double (Golden Style meaning it is mustard grilled) with cheddar, bacon, cheese sauce, crunchy onions, chips, and BBQ Aioli, and my fries were Bacon Cheese Fries toasted in K-Town Sauce. May I just say that these were both yummy and satisfying! One thing I should note since I am looking at my receipt as I am writing this review, this is the first restaurant in the state that uses Zero Acre Farms Oil in 90% of its food prep and has been doing so for over 2 years (January 2024 was when they started this). I don't come often, but I will continue to come here as an option whenever the need arises for a good burger in Wilton. read more

Just here for work and decided I wanted a burger. So I stop here and got a Warrior (double) and small fries and a Drink. it was 28$...... I thought "maybe the burgers are big" bc everything is separate. The Burger alone was $16.99 so I got my food to go and once I opened everything I was in disbelief. The Burger is so f**** small I could eat it in one bite and I'm only 130 pound. It wasn't that great to be a $16 burger no wonder I see so many from up here and all these northern states complain about the coast of living it's ridiculous. where I'm from this meal would have been $8 and nothing more just wild how mf are getting robbed blind up here I pray for yall bc tf is wrong with yall read more

Shake Shack it is not, HOWEVER, I will go so far as to say their crinkle cut fries are better! And I could write a 1000 words on the dill aioli sauce. Put it on everything. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. Hands down, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant. My wife, daughter, and I drove out to Wilton after seeing photos of the burgers online, and I can honestly say the pictures did not disappoint. The food looked just as incredible in person as it did online, and it tasted even better. We had the Golden Burger, Warrior Burger, and the Chicago dog with fries. The Golden Burger was easily one of the best burgers I've had so far. The sauces they make in-house were outstanding and truly set everything apart. We also tried the banana pudding, which might honestly be better than Magnolia Bakery -- and that's coming from someone born and raised in New York who's been eating it since childhood. We also had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners, who was an absolute gentleman. You could immediately feel his passion for the restaurant, which is something I truly appreciate. Nice looking place in Wilton center. They have creative burgers and the fries are deceptively good. I came in for lunch and my order was ready quickly. I had the K-town burger which had pickled cucumbers and carrots plus a spicy aioli which was really good. The crunch from the veggies was a perfect compliment to the soft burger and bun. Plus the tang from the pickles and the spice from the aioli really upped the flavor quotient. It wasn't too spicy, but really well flavored. Need to come back and try some of their other burger options! read more

I actually think this place is overrated I found the burger to be well made as far as accoutrements , however, the meat itself had no flavor whatsoever. I had the house burger. I had fries with chili and while the fries were perfectly cooked, they also had no flavor whatsoever So it's not for me. It may be for others. I stopped for lunch at Press Burger in Wilton recently. Press Burger offers a variety of made to order & specialty burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, Coke fountain drinks (self serve), banana pudding and whoopie pies. Similar to a Chipotle, you place your order at the right side of the counter, your food is made behind the glass counter and pay register to the left end. For takeout, I ordered the Single House Burger ($7.99 plus tax) and the Chili Fries ($5.99 plus tax) which was prepared to order and bagged in about 5 minutes. The Single House Burger (on the smaller side) had a moist juicy grilled beef patty (slightly pink inside) topped with melted American cheese, tomato, green leaf lettuce and house sauce on a soft burger bun. The chili fries had golden fried crinkle cut fries topped with zesty chili meat sauce. Both items tasted pretty good! The staff was very friendly and address you by first name during the ordering and completion process. read more

We were very happy with our meal at Press Burger! Definitely some of the highest quality food from a fast casual restaurant around. We tried each of the hot dogs that were offered on the menu: beef, chicken, and The Farmer's Dog, which is actually a smoked carrot! I was very impressed by the flavor and texture, and thought this was a great option to have on the menu for vegan/vegetarian eaters. Looking for a good burger in wilton? You have found it! We tried the grass fed single and double burgers freshly made to order the way we wanted. Soooo good! They also have hotdogs, chicken, fries, grilled cheese, and salads with lots of different toppings. Also milkshakes and fountain drinks. There are vegetarian/vegan options. Got delivery from here for dinner last week. We were surprised at how well the burgers traveled - no soggy buns or greasy juice puddles. The burgers came in a unique paper wrapping that definitely contributed to how well they arrived. The fries were still crispy too. Will definitely order from here again, I can see this being our go to for delivery burgers. We enjoyed Press Burger in Wilton where we ate recently. My husband had one of the specialty burgers (the warrior burger) and I had the veggie burger where I added a variety of toppings. The burgers were delicious and made of high quality ingredients. These are not fast food burgers but they are small. We spent $50 on 2 burgers (one of which was a veggie burger), 2 orders of French fries and 2 fountain sodas. It seems expensive to me. The service was a bit indifferent and impersonal. Though we told the person taking our order that it was our first time, he didn't care or try to help us. We will go back because of the quality but not because of the price or service. read more

As someone who literally just had their new Nashville hot chicken sandwich, I had to express how incredible it is. Even before this absolutely deleclible sandwich was available, me and my family often went to this incredible local burger joint for a quick and reasonably priced lunch/dinner. Not fancy by any means, (with below comfortable seating and none of the two tables indoors) but a very well made burger. However, as a huge fan of fried chicken in all its forms I had to try the new chicken sandwich when it became available a few months ago. At this point in press burgers young history they were experimenting quite a bit with their burgers. And part of this experimentation came with some underwhelming seating and a really nice k-town burger to satisfy the needs of the spice loving customer. So little by little there were several changes to this so far pretty solid sandwich. Until of course a few weeks ago when in a way I did not understand, improved the quality of this incredible sandwich ten fold. And believe me, this sandwich and all its variants will blow your Socks off as what is without a doubt the best fried chicken sandwhich in the entirety of Connecticut. Must try! Wilton and nearby towns are oversaturated with burger places. Press cannot be compared to the rest. I haven't had a burger or chicken sandwich from anywhere else since they've opened. They're on another level. Anytime we need a quick meal, we go for Press. I love all of their burgers and chicken sandwiches (both grilled and fried). You can customize or pick from the menu. The hot dogs are good too. Love the milkshakes! We always get the canned yuzu drink. The one thing I don't care for are the fries. My husband loves them. Personal preference - I prefer crunchy shoestring fries and these are crinkle cut. Anytime we've been here, service has been above and beyond. They have ample seating and parking. Finally Great Burgers in Wilton. The ambiance was nice, very modern, and covered head to toe in glossy tile. I will say the service is interesting, as there appear to be baby-faced freshmen high schoolers working the grills and registers. Which to be fair is what McDonald's would do starting out, so props to them I guess. It was great food, but I ordered a double patty, and I'm pretty sure they gave my order to the guy in front of me (The arrogant man came in after me, but I let him go ahead of me since it was my first time. He gave me a condescending comment of "They're just burgers" as I was just trying to figure out their specialty burger menu). Which I think was caused by the telephone Chipotle-Subway-style way of making their burgers. The woman reassured me it was a double, and she wasn't a high schooler, so I took her word for it. My burger still looked like just one patty, though I was too hungry to care. Good milkshake too, paired well with the salty crisp fries. Great food, not worth eating in, as service is nothing special. Price is super expensive for a burger place. Dislike paying as they ask for a service tip, which always makes me feel uncomfortable.
