Was staying a hotel next door in the middle of July. There weren't that many food options nearby. Scoped out the menu before hand and saw that they had a turkey burger. I haven't had one in a while. This was a good choice. The turkey burger was juicy and a good portion. And it was hot, so you can tell it was cooked fresh. i also chose to upgrade my side to curly fries. The first time we visited Boss Burger was last summer. The AC must have been stressed that day because it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant. That colored the experience and we were not impressed. It took us another 8 months to return, but I'm glad we did. The ambience here, with the small dining area, self serve drinks, TV sports, and tight tables is not the greatest frankly, but the service is friendly and the sirloin burgers and assorted fries are truly exceptional. Meals come with a side of either fries, grilled veggies, or side side. I prefer the veggies or the salad. Also, you can upgrade to onion rings (among others) that I highly recommend. Their menu is highly customizable, which is ideal for picky eaters like me. Online ordering is super easy, and the food is always prepared within the assigned amount of time (updates are sent via text) They do have a few tables inside, maybe four, and a few outside, but there's no heaters, so it would be quite chilly this time of year. The parking lot can get tight, and their Google maps location is slightly off, so you could turn in too quickly or easily miss it. Got their signature burger, don't remember the exact name. It's solid, not my favorite burger but I don't have any complaints. The fries are acceptable, they're all crinkle-cut, I got seasoned fries with the burger which are a bit too salty for me, and a side of parmesan truffle which are better but not the best. Next time I'd just get curly fries I think. It's a little pricey for what it is, but the burger is quite large and they didn't skimp on the fries. When I'm back working in the office I'd like to try more of the menu, hopefully it's still open by then. read more
