Went there last Nighy and the waitstaff I would give a 10. They were top notch! The food was not so great. The penne seemed to be warmed over and the sausage had seen its better days. Deserts? Worst crème brûlée I've ever had Ambiance was terrific. The fireplace was a nice touchOn a really cold night ! Typical Westport prices meaning mediocre food for a big price! Hadn't been there since it opened and it might be awhile till I return. read more

I needed my son's help with some heavy items at Walmart, so he came with me. He ate at Panera while I shopped. He cannot stop talking about what a pleasant experience it was. The food was good. He loves the broccolli cheddar soup and he had 1/2 sandwich. There were real dishes and silverware. The employees were so nice and helpful. He had a nice relaxing lunch while I shopped. read more

We do a fair amount of road trips but like healthy quick food options so Panera is our go to spot. We will even drive five minutes off the road for one...typically we get the Pick 2 option- Asian chicken salad, broccoli cheddar soup, or wild rice soup and Mediterranean veggie sandwich. Also like the chicken frontega and the chili. My favorite is when I've earned a reward and get a cookie or something else free, unexpected treat and always welcome. read more

Nice staff, usually pretty helpful. But some times, the person isn't trained in all of the things they offer and that makes it difficult to try new items. Their bakery items are usually taste pretty fresh, but their coffee isn't too good though. I have the coffee subscription that I got for free, unfortunately still not worth it though. I have the Apple Card which is where I got the coffee subscription from and every time you purchase Panera Bread you get 3% cash back, which is nice though. It helps offset but they are pretty price for what you get. Sizes are pretty small and quality sometimes can be an issue. I have cold soups, overly toasted bread, undercooked food items, burnt coffee or coffee with a cup full of coffee grounds, etc. I do love their Vanilla Cinnamon Roll, Broccoli Cheddar Soup and when their Mac and Cheese isn't watery like soup and their roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT. They have a shared parking lot with Walmart, Quodba, a few other businesses. It's hard for me to always recommend them, but if you in the area and have never been I would recommend trying them. It can't hurt. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Norwalk, Connecticut

Portions are getting smaller and smaller and food quality is awful. I paid 14 dollars for something I'd say was half of the plate. When I asked for help, people from the kitchen said that that was the portion. I used to have that exact plate everywhere, that's why I know it was not the same. Also, when you ask for the big soup, they give you less, it's more convenient to buy the small cup of soup because it's pretty much the same amount. In addition, salad quality is not the best. Very disappointing. read more

Tasty lunch, friendly order staff. Portion size was very small. Ie. bowl of soup was less than half full. Dining room Tables were all soiled from previous customers. Finally found a clean table. read more

Such a great spot after doing some shopping at Walmart next door. Food is fresh and takes very few waiting time to make. Cashiers are always helpful and upscale well because I'm always getting a dessert with their suggestions. I wish your strawberry lemonade slushy drink came in a larger size. I buy two because one is never enough. read more

I visit this place at least 5 times a week for my free coffee since I have a coffee subscription. I prefer the light roast to the dark roast and I have more than made up for the cost of subscription. If you drink at least one cup of coffee and day and you prefer buying your coffee rather than making it, this subscription is definitely worth it. I do wish this panera location had a drive thru. We also grabbed some food here a couple of times. Their sandwiches are not my favorite - I think the bread is too chewy. Their salads are amazing and the portion size is huge. Their soups are decent. I wish their service was a bit faster, I feel like I am waiting in line even to get a cup for my free coffee. If they had a self service line for people with subscriptions so we could just scan and go instead of waiting in line, that would make my mornings so much better read more

I'm not a huge fan of Panera in general, but this one seems worst than most. The employees seem friendly enough, but I've gotten breakfast sandwiches twice now that have gave me some serious stomach issues afterwards. Lunch Sandwiches are kind of taxed for what you get as well. Do yourself a favor and go around the corner to the Dilly Duck shop. Similar priced sandwiches but quality is in a whole nother league. read more

I like Panera Bread. This is a great location. Food: Fresh and Delicious. i ordered the sandiwch and panini. Service: Workers were friendly and nice. They were very helpful. Went in for a breakfast and seen some of their signs in the large sandwiches and specials they had the breakfast sandwich was horrible. I asked for an egg, bacon and cheese on a roll or bread whatever they had available. It was so small. I couldn't believe it cost me almost $14 and it was scrambled eggs couldn't find the bacon and didn't have the cheese on it, never go back and help people are walking around. Couldn't find anybody except for 1 girl trying to do everything. She was very nice and specifically wrote down what I wanted, but the shift seem to have a little bit of an attitude when I asked him about my sandwich the photos they show you in the front of the store are blown up, so don't think you're getting a big sandwich, my puppy could eat that will not return to that location. read more

Staff couldn't be better. Food is like all paneras. One issue at all paneras is I don't think they clean toilets more than once a week. Always mold and pink ring in bowl. read more

I have no idea why reviews here are that bad. I have been to this location so many times, and always got the best service, delicious delicious coffee and price that I would expect to be lower. I even sometime stopped here just to get coffee to go and move on. I take their coffee over so many coffee places. Love the concept, the way they plate the food. It all makes a good clean presentation and make you feel you are eating at a clean restaurant. read more

Love the free wifi with a little soup and salad plus unsweetened ice tea but the Panera in Norwalk dirty and smells weird. They are very busy at 1pm lunch but they Take one of the 5 people at the register and clean a table. Wanted to hang out and work this afternoon but may need Togo to Starbucks instead. Ok it's been many months but trying them again because it's closest location for me but it hasn't improved. I'm reducing my review from 3 stars to 2 because the manager doesn't seem to care that service is slow and unfriendly and tables are filthy. I guess because they get the benefit of Walmart traffic they don't have to live up to the standards of other Panera's in the chain. If you want Panera in this area go to Westport Ave or the Stamford one. read more

I love Panera's soup, and typically have no issues with their service or food. However, I just picked up an order that I placed on their app, and this is what I got. I paid $6 for this cup of vegetable soup and a hunk of bread. Really, Panera? This is worth paying $6 for? When I order this in store I think I get double the amount. What gives, Panera? read more

Hey you know Panera is Panera, there's no use in reviewing. What I want you all to know, however, is with their ginormous bread selection, they have NO gluten free selections. Isn't that crazy? read more

They have great chicken sandwiches. The pick up option is great and the staff appears to take good precautions. Will be back soon.

Panera has been our go-to over the past year. Lately; as prices have risen it's been one of the few reasonably priced reasonably healthy options. Boston Market would be another. I've tried many options from their menu, but there's truly only one true dud - the flatbreads. Normally, they excel at carbs. However, the dough on these flatbreads is kind of tough. I wouldn't recommend them. What I would recommend is the Autumn Squash Soup. It's fantastic! Perfectly creamy and sweet but not too sweet. In the summer, the seasonal strawberry salad with poppyseed dressing is wonderful. I wait all year for it. I also really like the Smokehouse BBQ sandwich and my husband likes the Mac and Cheese sandwich. Sounds odd, but he really likes it. I frequently get the Greek Salad. As a lover of all things sour, this is right up my alley. However, I can see this not being everyone's cup of tea. It's really acidic! I'm personally not a big fan of their mac and cheese. It's a bit overcooked and mushy. If you like green juices, try their Green Passion Smoothie. It's surprisingly good and unique. In the bakery section, my favorite is the orange cranberry muffin. While pregnant, I was obsessed with them. However, they weren't always available. My poor husband had to drive to Panera or call daily to see if they had any. It was out of stock pretty often. Overall, I love Panera. Particularly, I love the pick two option and I like that you can upgrade or downgrade the soup size as part of the pick 2. read more

I am a huge Panera fan and have been to many locations but this exceeds absolutely all of them! The main person working was so kind and professional, patiently answered all of my questions, and let us order even though they were about to close. The food was hot and tasty! Thank you!!! read more

The young lady behind the counter greeted us by saying "yo what's good". She then took our order with an attitude. The gentleman calling out names and serving the food was very nice and did a great job. Food was as expected. Disappointed in the amount of messy tables and messy floors. Disappointed in the rude cashier. read more

Just got back from Panera Bread. As they were preparing the order, they forgot to put the chips in the bag. The associate was wiping down the counter and my husband said you forgot my chips so she threw them at him. Wait? You don't THROW food at people. After he said something to her the manager comes over and told him to keep his voice down and said he can have my husband banned from the store. How about you teach your employees better customer service. Let's see what Niren Chaudhary has to say about his employees throwing food! read more

I've been going to this Panera for a while and it's a great operation. The staff is consistent which builds a sense of community. The food is terrific and always fresh. Though not cheap, the ingredients are fresh and healthy. It seems a satellite office for so many. A place for seniors to get out and combat loneliness. Lots of young people getting coffee. Management seems to set a friendly tone. I think they do a huge catering business. read more

With the closing of Dalton's Deli I've been trying to find a place to get a decent bagel, and this is not it. I can live with the limited choices however when I order a toasted bagel with butter you expect that an not two toasted bagel halfs floating around at the bottom of a big bag with some packets of butter! You would expect that a place wit bread in the name would know how to prepare a bagel. Well my quest for a good bagel pace continues; I'm open to suggestions. read more

This has to be the worst Panera I have ever been to and I should have know this when I entered on a Sunday morning at 10 am and there was no line and only a few others in the place. My son wanted a cinnamon crunch bagel and they appeared quite burnt and when I asked the cashier if they were burnt she said yes but the inside was still good. The whole point of that bagel is the outside of it. I ordered an egg souffle and it was very salty and dry. I waited 5 minutes for my iced latte to be made and then had to have my iced latte made over because it was not made correctly the 1st time. Definitely won't be back again read more

I might be biased, because I like Panera. I always find it fresh, healthy, and they have a tasty zero calorie iced tea. This particular location seems to never be crowded - I never have to wait, and I am in and out within 5-10 minutes with my lunch. Everyone is friendly, and the restaurant is kept clean (granted, easier, since they are not busy). Unlike many Paneras, here they remind me what the 'specials' are I have on my card so I don't miss out on my free coffee or bakery treat. Definitely a good lunch spot. And, they have free Wi-Fi which can make for a working outside of the office lunch. read more

I'm not usually a fan of Panera food, but this seems to be a popular place and looks well managed. My girlfriend really enjoyed her meal.

Panera setup is as usual but decided to go in to try the broth bowl. With advertisement of Asian soup I was super interested. I got it, it's interesting and I may get it again if the price was A LOT-lower. At about $9 I can make ramen and put chicken and spinach in it for more than half the price. read more

This is likely the worst Panera I have been to. My family goes to Panera almost everywhere we travel due to the consistency of the food and service. This Panera has horrible parking, horrible service and let's face it, not that clean. For an affluent town like Wilton this Panera is underwhelming. read more

I visit this panera bread outlet almost everyday. Firstly, the good. Cashiers and servers are more often than not, very friendly, and make me feel welcomed. They always remember to remind me of the free stuff I get with my panera card. And when I can't decide on a sandwich they will give me a good low-calorie suggestion. And they always give me 2 dinner rolls when I ask for it! Now, the bad. When I order for take out, 2 out of 3 times, I got a different soup than what I had ordered, that was really unfortunate as I would usually look for low calorie soups and that really screwed up my diet for the day and I would usually discover too late as I would be home already and not wanting to return to get it fixed. So bottom line is, do not order take out!!! This outlet is always rather empty so stay for your meal and take the time to unwind and relax. read more
