This place has gone down hill so fast. I used to love the food, but this place no longer cares about its customers. My last few orders from here through Uber Eats have been wrong, and are often missing items. The last 3 order I have received had only bowls that were only half way filled with food which is a complete rip-off (in the begining they filled the whole bowl). You pay $20 for a bowl with literally a cup of food. They drag there feet on every take out order too. I have given them several chances to get better, but I give up. I will never go back to this place to place again because of the poor customer experience. read more

place was filthy and prices have gone to the roof and beyond over 18 for steak feta pocket The server did not know how to make it tossing stuff in it from cheat sheet then he did wrap it properly and stuff fell out. Maybe this is the type of place you have to order in person because the online ordering here is always a HUGE PROBLEM. Either the employees have no clue what or how to fulfill your order or the food you ordered doesn't make it into the bag / get the wrong food items. Tonight I ordered a bowl with tzatziki, and I got hummus. Huge NO NO. Other times I've ordered the 3$ sides and have been told that's "not how we do it" , yes you get a side but you also have additional options on online ordering to pay 3+ dollars for other sides. Why are they always arguing ? I'm sick of not getting what I pay for or getting the completely wrong order by the time I get home. I can't really even check the bowls in the car before driving home because they slap the receipt funny enough with the ingredients you ordered right on the lid so I can't see. This is so extremely frustrating read more

This was my first meal after being discharged from the hospital for a week for pregnancy loss related complications. I hadn't really eaten all week. We have never been here and it was like 20 minutes away I honestly don't know what made me think of it! I was nervous to be out in the real world after such a traumatizing week! I WISH I COULD REMEMBER HER NAME! 10/26 late lunch. But the woman working the counter she was just so nice and friendly and explained everything so well, we went step by step through all the options and she was so patient with me and my husband and gave lots of Great Recommendations. She's just a really great employee and if only she knew, her kindness went really far that day. Even the man working the register just couldn't have been any nicer! You have great staff here at this location, cherish that! my "make my own" bowl was amazing and had a ton of flavor and the chicken option was perfect for me and I got a variety of sauces and loved my bowl!! I had enough for leftovers but my husband loved his so much he finished his all. He has the spicy version of the chicken which he really enjoyed. The lemonade options were really fun and fresh! I got the seasonal apple pineapple mint and I wish it wasn't seasonal. We are coming back very soon!!! read more

On Tuesday, June 3rd at 8 PM, I asked the employee wearing a yellow headscarf for a build-your-own bowl and requested saffron rice as the base. She informed me there would be a wait, which I was perfectly fine with. However, after a few minutes, she told me they wouldn't be restocking the rice. Since my friends had already ordered, I was left sitting and watching them eat. Later, after using the restroom, I saw the saffron rice being restocked. I was confused and disappointed, as I had made it clear I didn't mind waiting. It felt misleading, and I'm not sure why I was told otherwise. I've been a regular customer at Cava, but this experience has left a sour taste. I've never encountered service like this here before, and unfortunately, I'll be taking my business to Naya. read more

After an unsuccessful shopping bout at a designer thrift shop next door, I was starving and excited to eat Israeli food particularly falafel. Sadly, the doughy balls that Cava passes off at falafel have more in common to a Dunkin Doughnut hole. Chewy and doughy with no chick pea taste and certainly not the crunchy fried texture that is the trademark of a true falafel. Sad. Must go elsewhere for my falafel fix. Otherwise the middle eastern sauces were tasty on the greens and the rice. read more

Placed an online order here tonight and when we got home they had not packed our whole order and had made almost everything else incorrectly. Had to drive back to get them to correct it, got attitude from the woman making the salads not to mention they ran out of avocado but still left the up charge on the bill. Lentils on the salad were uncooked and overall a very sloppy experience. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! The ingredients here are just about as fresh as you can find, and delicious too! It opened fairly recently so I hope the decor and atmosphere improves with some updates, but fairly straightforward as is. The staff is pretty good too. The customization of the bowls is the selling point, and with the awesome options they have, it's tough to go wrong. read more

I am a regular at Cava... today disgusted me. Dirty portions. Dirty bowls. Dirty pants. Nothing clean about our experience today. They gave us portion sizes for a five year old who doesn't eat. Five bites in and i'm done. They are supposed to give three dips.. they only gave us one. When we asked for more she roller her eyes. Clean but small space, great bright interior. Food is always consistent and fast during non busy hours. Cava has always been a great go to spot. My go to is always the chicken with splendid greens, saffron rice, crazy feta, hummus, tzatziki, whatever toppings you prefer, always get the pita crisps though! Originally,…read moreI had my sights set on an El Salvadoran joint over on Fort Point, but that was essentially a cash only place, so I continued on to see what else was available. After a fair bit more walking, I walked by this place, a Greek restaurant that was in the same plaza that used to have a Five Guys there. Initially I walked a slight bit further to see if there wasn't anything else, but it didn't take me long to circle back around and head over here. Customer service was fine. It was my first visit here, so they walked me through how to order, and yes they do have menus you can take if you decide to come back in the future. I did however want to take a pic of their wall menus for Yelp because that's what I do as a Yelper. They kind of said it right away as I took my pictures, which leads me to think they have a slight bit of trouble trusting the process. That said, I won't knock them too much for it because I knew they meant well with it. I do however want to point out one comparison that one of the employees mentioned here: that their ordering system was like Chipotle. Now, I know some people swear by Chipotle and would likely die on that hill, but I have been to Chipotle enough times that I really wish she didn't say that. It undersells this restaurant to a point that putting this on the same level as Chipotle is a disservice to Truly Greek. Why? Because unlike them, this place is actually cleaned after, and the bathroom is cleaner and actually encourages good hygiene. Qdoba would be a far fairer comparison if that employee really wanted to name a fast food establishment to compare this to. If you choose to eat-in, be careful where you sit. They had a chair keeping the door open, so I spent my meal feeling the cold wind blowing on my face. Seriously, are they trying to turn me into Frosty the Snowman in late May? But if you're willing to brave it or choose another seat, the chairs are made of wood with bamboo cushioning. Honestly, the chairs weren't bad to sit on. The food was good. Not perfect, but good. I first tried had the Greek Fries. The fry itself has a light crunch, but it's also a bit limpish if that makes sense. The feta cheese do bring it to a higher level and makes the fries pretty good to eat. The one thing I did notice as ate these fries was that the vinegar that went into the dish stood out more than the rest of the dish, and I can't be sure if that's a good thing or not. It really depends on how much you like vinegar, but yes, the vinegar was quite prominent here. As for what I built, I had a pita with tzatziki, lamb, red pepper, feta, red onion, and cucumber as well as a second sauce I don't quite remember. It was another sauce that was whitish in color. Gyros in general are a tad difficult for me to get through, but this was a good gyro and I wouldn't mind having this one again. If half-stars were a thing, I'd give this a 3.5, but I rounded up to a 4 here. Other than the windy air coming in, this was an overall good visit. Oh, interesting fact, the boss came in while I was in the middle of my meal. I didn't talk to him, but it looks as though he brings his family here every now and then. I mostly ignored these interactions because the only thing relevant as far as I'm concerned was me and my food. So yeah, there ya go!

Their falafel is the real deal: crispy, fresh, full of flavor, and most importantly... not dry or crumbly. It's officially my new "best falafel ever." The food in general tastes super fresh and clean, and as a vegetarian, I love that I can build a bowl that actually has real protein and doesn't rely on bland filler. Also, I'm a sauce person -- and their dressings/sauces are unreal. Everything just tastes bright and dialed-in. The space deserves a shout too: the location is clean, neat, organized, and has this light, fresh vibe that makes it feel genuinely pleasant to be in (which isn't always true for fast-casual). But the biggest reason this visit went from "great" to "above and beyond" was the staff. I want to personally shout out Marlin and Nina. Marlin had amazing energy, was happy to share recommendations, and you could tell he genuinely cares about the food. Nina was cooking and gave me falafel fresh out of the oven -- she was friendly, informative, and clearly proud of what they're making. Both of them were super knowledgeable about the menu and the brand, and it shows. Marlin and Nina deserve employee of the month (or a raise). I'll be back -- and I'm bringing people with me.
