Their classic margarita never disappoints (with Tajín on the rim, of course), and the tacos are consistently flavorful and fresh. I almost always start with the plantains and chips with guacamole, which make the perfect shareable appetizer. There's truly something for everyone, even for those who wouldn't typically gravitate towards Mexican-inspired cuisine. That said, the service has become a bit hit-or-miss in recent visits. They are an extremely busy location so I understand the hustle. I was happy to see they brought back the traditional table-side ordering after a period of having customers place orders exclusively through their phones. The current hybrid approach is a much better. You get the more personal and professional experience of ordering with a server, while still having the option to pay or place additional orders through your phone if needed. Despite a few service inconsistencies, I'll definitely be back for another margarita and taco night soon!

Unfortunately, today's visit was the final straw, and we've decided we won't be coming back. Since changing the name from Studio Cafe to Tailored Home Cafe (located inside the interior design shop), something seems to have changed--perhaps new ownership or management. The portions are noticeably smaller, the food quality isn't what it used to be, and it's hard to justify paying Westport prices for an experience that no longer matches the cost. It's disappointing because this used to be one of our favorite spots, and we've visited well over 20 times over the years. I genuinely hope they can get back to what made them so successful in the first place, because we'd love to see them return to the quality that kept us coming back for so long.
