Great spot, one of our go-to's for a nice dinner date. We went again recently and had an excellent time. Good service - though I do find it a little weird that you have to put in the whole order at once. The food is the standout. Always get the dips - the spicy feta in particular is stellar, as are the hummus and other dips. The pita is excellent as well - always feels like I need to order another. We got the steak bao buns, and they were great. Juicy and flavorful, I just wanted more. And I got the brisket special, which was also fantastic - very good flavor, and the veggies it came with were great too. Skipped dessert unfortunately since we were stuffed, but had a great time, as usual.

Yikes. Ok I get it - it's beautiful and the ambiance is through the roof but at what cost? I'm all for spending my hard earned money on a fantastic dining experience but unfortunately Esh fell short. Most of the entrées were just "ok" and the 30 something dollar burger came with raw bread. And not just mine - two others had the same issue at our table of 9. Lost my appetite after that. The good: they validate your parking. Shareable apps are flavorful and cocktails are creative and taste great. And again, it is super nice inside. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again but if I did return, I would stick to everything except the main dinner plates.

I won't lie I was skeptical, I was proven wrong! Everything we had was outstandingly amazing! If i could give more than 5 stars I would! Our waitress Mel was the absolute best! She gave us great recommendations and all of the food we tried was great!!! This place has a NYC vibe! Can't wait to go back!

You wouldn't even know this place is there. There's a parking garage right adjacent to the restaurant and your ticket can be validated. Such a cute vibe inside. The employees are all so kind including the owner who I've often seen come out and interact with the customers. The food is so delicious. Just try it all!!! This was gifted to us and we've done back to celebrate anniversaries birthdays and more.

Very tasty dips and flat bread. Good beer. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Shishito peppers were delightful. Bad buns were ok.

Well damn. I would say one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. When you look at the price of it it makes you wonder can it really be that good? Yes it is. It's amazing. First off they give you a lot. It's like two burger in one. The use of the pita bread that's baked fresh and toasted on site In the fire makes all the difference. You can taste the sesame seeds bursting with flavor. At the bottom a layer of grilled onions and the beef was just so juicy and hot. The potatoe cubes were great and I like that they gave a tub of ketchup. Dare I say the best burger I have ever tasted? Esh you had me at burger. Everything else was great as well. A bit pricey but you get what you paid for. 5 stars all around.

I really enjoyed my experience here for my birthday. I made a reservation and we arrived and were seated on time. The restaurant has a really nice earthy and modern vibe. Service was good although it appeared a little shorter staff our server did really well with his section. The food was so good, fresh, authentic. The bread was soft fresh and yummy I could eat tons of it. Cocktails were unique and strong. I look forward to returning here to try other dishes.

After about six months of trying to get a reservation on a weekend, pay dirt ! Granted it was on a Sunday, but nonetheless. Also a perfect opportunity for a belated Mother's Day dinner. The space is massive. Huge bar, high ceilings, 4 rest rooms, giant open kitchen and plenty of seating. We were seated near the kitchen, which was a bit loud for my mother. Our server, Nicole, was down to earth, helpful, and patient when it came to navigating the large menu. We started with Meze Dips (3) & Flatbread. Definitely enough for a table of four, but they should bring 2 pieces of bread. We asked for another piece and it eventually came; a little late and an extra $10.00. The Crispy Duck Wings were ok. More Asian in flavor and not at all crispy. The Moroccan Cigar was a tad gamey and greasy, but sauce on side helped with the taste. Lamb Pot Pie was great. The whole presentation and filling was delicious. Halibut was over cooked, arid, and a bit on the small side. Black Angus Ribeye Steak came on a sizzle plate in 5 square chunks. For $60.00, we thought we'd see the whole cut. Grandmas Biscuit Cake was fantastic, but took a long time to arrive. One glass of wine, 3 sodas (at $8.00 a piece), and the food ran us $435.00 with tip. A little high in my opinion. But maybe that's what Fairfield CT has become. The menu is a bit pretentious. Scottish Salmon "Baklava"/North African Style/Nazareth Style ?!?! Pot Pie a la Jesus. Some descriptions need to be re-written or re-worded. Bad grammar. We also found a few typos. Menu covers should be ordered for an upscale restaurant like this. Rather than passing around dirty, grease stained wrinkled pieces of paper. They do validate parking, so don't be worried about entering the parking garage next door.

This place is visually stunning, with an open kitchen and high ceilings. The restaurant is dimly lit, but pleasingly so. The hostess sat us right away and our server introduced himself. He immediately informed us of the specials of the day and pointed out some recent menu changes which included some new cocktails. He was an excellent server. We opted to start with the 3 dips (hummus, babaganoush, and tzatziki) and the Esh flatbread ($25). A few olives are served along with this. The bread was warm, fresh and so flavorful. While the dips were all good, the hummus was out of this world fantastic; it was creamy and had a little bit of a kick to it. We then had the Moroccan cigars,( 2 cigars for $19) with harrisa dipping sauce and the whole roasted cauliflower. The cigars had a nice taste and crunch and the dipping sauce was excellent. The cauliflower ($18 )was good, but just a tad bland and not sure I completely cared for the smokiness. They only offered 2 types of beer and had no iced tea. The cocktails were pricey. The menu is certainly unique and interesting, however there were no offerings we found for the Main Deal (entrees) that tickled our fancy and they were all quite expensive. There were some Start and Shares that I would like to try along with the lahmajoun flatbread. The entire establishment and the restrooms were very clean and well kept. Parking is in parking garage or if a few other unmarked spaces outside of the garage. I would certainly return for the lovely ambiance and that flatbread and hummus, but most likely not the place I would choose for drinks or a main course.

Baba ghanoush and half eaten flat bread

The food was excellent. Baba ghanoush, flat bread, and the ribeye baos were all great. The halibut entree was really good. The lamb pot pie was probably the best thing we had. Great flavors. Everything cooked really well. Good size portions. Good service. Great ambience. Despite all of these positives, it is still tough to justify how expensive everything is. And their menu is a bit sneaky. It makes it look as though flatbread is included with the dips but it is a $9 charge. Also, be sure to specify that you want tap water, if you don't want to be charged for sparkling or still water.

This contemporary, intimate, Middle Eastern/Mediterranean inspired restaurant is a mouthful of flavor. Recommendation is to pick a few starter plates and share so you can maximize the menu options! The portions are worth the price. I tried the Baba ghanoush, Labneh, Spicy feta, Flatbread, Black angus ribeye shwarma bao buns, Lavender martini 2.0 and Watermelon mojito. Every bite was a perfect mixture of spices with fresh wood fired ingredients. The staff was professional and food came out hot and quick. Make sure to ask for parking validation at the hostess stand. I'll be back for sure!

After much convincing, and finally being in the neighborhood we made our way to Esh. A highly rated place amongst our Foodie friends we were excited to finally pop in. Bottom line if I could give it 3.5 star that's where I'd land. So I was hoping to be blown out of the water and while things were good I've eaten at many other five star Mediterranean restaurants. We actually happen to pop in for happy hour, so maybe the limited menu influenced our experience but we had most of the appetizers they offer and some cocktails. I love their Mediterranean inspired cocktails but most were too sweet or too sour for me unfortunately. But they were pretty however I'm not paying for pretty. Overall, the food was about a four out of five stars, particularly great were the falafels. I wish it was served with tzatziki instead of the tahini. The dips and bread were by far the best! I wasn't crazy about the zucchini cake, and the Moroccan cigar was OK. We were going to order a main dish, but got full just from the appetizers. If we do return, maybe we'll go order some mains and see if that improves our food experience. For dessert we had to knafeh.. It was pretty good compared to others that I've had. It was served with a lavender ice cream, which was good but a bit intense. I think this could easily be served with some sort of vanilla derivative. The bar staff, hosts and overall ambience were top-notch, so it's definitely worth just coming in to experience the vibe.
