It looked cooked inside, but it could not easily be cut with a knife or bit into, and it made a weird "rubbery" sound as I bit into it. I think this is not a cooking issue, but rather maybe the quality of the chicken breast? The pieces that were good were really good. The mixed cold appetizers were good, a nice size to share with 2-3 people, and the warm bread and butter is always a delight. I'm not sure if today was just a fluke due to the meat batch or if the cooking style has genuinely changed (it's been quite a few years since my last visit). Main courses consisted of Chicken Shish, marinated chicken grilled as kabobs served with 2 types of rice-husband LOVED it and this type of food is really not his jam but he was in heaven. Dessert consisted of their rice pudding which is a homerun and revani which worked together fabulously as it took some sweetness away from the revani. Unfortunate that either are individual at-cost appetizers (although looking at my receipt, I can infer that the first pita was included with the hummus as I was only charged for one and we had two). The staff were certainly nice, and considering it was a Saturday evening, the volume of patrons is worth appreciation. It wasn't rowdy, the music was nice, the ceiling fan blades passing over one of the ceiling lights drove me crazy a little bit, but it is a nice place.
