Phyllo feta

FYI their hours have not been updated anywhere (Yelp, Instagram, or website) - but they're open for lunch and dinner 7 days/week now. Food and service were both great. The octopus was stellar. Can't wait to go back.

BarVera was an excellent choice for our anniversary. We had a reservation at 7ish on a Friday and were seated immediately. We sat at a high top across from the bar and could observe the bar and staff service of the whole space. Every table appeared to get just the right amount of checkins, which is also what we experienced. The server didn't introduce himself but was very pleasant and asked us what order we wanted food to come in. We had the Octopus and baba ghanouj as starters. The octopus was perfectly tender and was topped with baked eggplant, a potato, and frisée lettuce. It's exactly what I'm looking for when I order octopus. The baba ghanouj was a perfect texture with pomegranate seeds on top and two fresh puts on the side. It was delightfully tart and the pita was clearly freshly cooked. Highly recommend both. For mains my husband had the lamb and I had the shish tawouk. The server checked before bringing out the mains and then it was just a few minutes. The lamb absolutely fell off the bone and we took about half home and it was great day two. While the chicken was flavorful and juicy, the toum on my dish was the . For dessert we had the crème brûlée and lemon olive oil cake. The crème brûlée was light and yummy. I would skip the olive oil cake if we went again. It was good in the middle but $$ for what it was. I had the lemonade cocktail and it was yummy. My husband had the pomade and really enjoyed it. Overall I'm very happy with the service and food. We'd definitely go again.

The trio small plate, with hot, fresh pita

Eating here feels like you're sitting in someone's home (in the best way possible). The service was great and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful. GET the lemon potatoes!!! The cocktails were also very good, and definitely well balanced. I will be going back here many, many times.

The main benefit of that being I didn't have to decide what I was having for lunch. This was the choice. I like mediterranean because it tends to be slightly healthier than some other options. This place is right up my alley because of the vegetarian leaning options on the menu, which is another benefit of this particular cuisine. Having said that, there were quite a few choices for me. They have bowls, salads, soup, sandwiches, platters, I mean, it's endless. I was planning on taco bell for dinner so had to compensate somewhat with lunch and decided to build a salad. I did greens, their mix of rice and lentils, cauliflower, cabbage, pickles, hummus, hot sauce. I am not a big fan of spring mix and I wonder if maybe something hot caused the greens to wilt but they were way too wilty for me. That was not particularly appetizing but everything else was really tasty. The hummus, especially, holy shit. I could eat that with a spoon. Two of my colleagues got the jersualem falafel sandwich and raved about it. I tried some of their fries and that seasoning is a game changer. I also got the garlic dip (to eat at home, later, don't worry). I couldn't tell you what that substance is and idk if I even want to know but it is whipped lusciousness. I am also genuinely curious to know how much garlic they put in there because it literally BURNS. No concern for vampires for quite a while. Very tasty, would definitely order again.

Naya offers a very good product with consistent flavor, which is why I keep coming back…read more Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short when it comes to operations. The biggest issue is online ordering and fulfillment. I almost always order online for convenience, but on most occasions my order is not prepared until I physically arrive and ask for an update. At that point, the convenience of ordering online completely disappears. You are honestly better off ordering in person. My most recent experience, which was today, really highlighted the problem. I placed my online order around 11:50 AM and did not receive my food until 12:50 PM. Another ongoing issue is the inconsistency with double protein orders. I have ordered often enough to notice that this is a recurring problem and something that clearly needs attention. I am sharing this mainly to bring awareness to others. If you are ordering online for pickup, be prepared for a gamble. If possible, just order when you arrive. For delivery orders, the drivers are not at fault. They are dealing with the same issue, where orders do not seem to be addressed until someone asks for an update.

I grabbed a NAYA Bowl with chicken shawarma, vermicelli rice, fresh veggies, toum, cucumber yogurt,…read moreand pita. Everything tasted super fresh and balanced; the chicken was juicy, and the mix of yogurt and garlic whip was great. The veggies were crisp, and the sumac onions added a nice tang. A couple of things didn't hit for me though, the "spicy" sauce barely had any heat, and the pita came cold and untoasted, which was a bummer. A warm, toasted pita would've made a big difference. Overall, the bowl was tasty and fresh, and I'd come back, but I hope they step up the spice and fix the pita next time.
