They were extremely well staffed and the entire team was friendly and attentive. We had the Baba Ganoush to start which was very tasty. For Cocktails, we each ordered a specialty drink. A GrapeVine Social and a Purple Minotaur. Both were very good to the taste, although we thought the glasses in which these are served were rather tiny for the $18/each that these drinks are priced at. Credit to the restaurant that when I mentioned this, they made an appropriate accommodation. My wife enjoyed the Lamb and Beef Kofta. I had the Swordfish which was sliced to a nice thick cut and cooked to a perfect tenderness with excellent flavors. As a side, we had the greek fries which I can highly recommend both for their taste and the generous portion. They did a wonderful job, especially given that they are new and I expect that they will continue to fine tune their new establishment by listening to customers. The prior restaurant in this space had the same issue. The outside seating and the bar has more vibe, but if you are seated past the bar, you will probably agree with me. I will absolutely give Lykos another shot, but as of today I am disappointed because Darien needs more great restaurants.

Our friends were seated at the bar so we joined them. It was quite a crowd and they had a DJ playing a wide variety of music. My friends had wine, and I got a mocktail. Service was good besides a minor snafu we had when it was time to close out but it was resolved relatively quickly.
