Naya offers a very good product with consistent flavor, which is why I keep coming back. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short when it comes to operations. The biggest issue is online ordering and fulfillment. I almost always order online for convenience, but on most occasions my order is not prepared until I physically arrive and ask for an update. At that point, the convenience of ordering online completely disappears. You are honestly better off ordering in person. My most recent experience, which was today, really highlighted the problem. I placed my online order around 11:50 AM and did not receive my food until 12:50 PM. Another ongoing issue is the inconsistency with double protein orders. I have ordered often enough to notice that this is a recurring problem and something that clearly needs attention. I am sharing this mainly to bring awareness to others. If you are ordering online for pickup, be prepared for a gamble. If possible, just order when you arrive. For delivery orders, the drivers are not at fault. They are dealing with the same issue, where orders do not seem to be addressed until someone asks for an update. read more

This has to be the worst food locations I've ever been to. A new location just opened up in Stamford. I would go to that one instead. The last two times I've been here I've had to wait 30+ minutes for my food. This time I ordered ahead and got here 25 minutes later, the place was empty, and they still didn't start on my food. The other Nayas are not like this at all. I'd actually be embarrassed if I were a manager here or store operator. Naya is a great food spot, one of my favorites, but this location lets me down EVERY SINGLE TIME! Please fix this place for everyone in the community. I grabbed a NAYA Bowl with chicken shawarma, vermicelli rice, fresh veggies, toum, cucumber yogurt, and pita. Everything tasted super fresh and balanced; the chicken was juicy, and the mix of yogurt and garlic whip was great. The veggies were crisp, and the sumac onions added a nice tang. A couple of things didn't hit for me though, the "spicy" sauce barely had any heat, and the pita came cold and untoasted, which was a bummer. A warm, toasted pita would've made a big difference. Overall, the bowl was tasty and fresh, and I'd come back, but I hope they step up the spice and fix the pita next time. read more

We had our first Naya experience this weekend! We loved the plentiful topping options. We opted for salad bowls and the rice bowls to be able to try more of the sauces. The wraps looked awesome, so now that we have narrowed down which sauces we liked best (the red sauce, hummus, and garlic sauce) we would go back for the wrap! The only challenge we had when ordering was that we wish that the ingredients were labeled on the glass, so we knew what exactly we were looking at. The space is bright and inviting. Great place we places pick up order for the office and very much enjoyed it. The restaurant is like a chipotle styled Lebanese cuisine. You can pick a salad, a bowl or a pita and choose all of the items you want added. The food was very fresh and the staff was super helpful. I got a bowl with brown rice and chicken and added tons of sides to it. Not only did it taste amazing but it was very filling. I was recently introduced to NAYA and I am in love! So far I've already ordered twice in one week. I can see this place in my weekly rotation of takeout options! To start the place is really clean and the decor is modern. The staff was really nice. The food portion were excellent and full of flavor. My favorite part is that you get to choose exactly what you put on your bowl (this was our choice). Great little spot for a nice lunch or even quick dinner. Very bright and earthy! Staff were helpful when choosing from the array of toppings and sauces. We went for a light dinner and loved every minute of it. I opted for the bowl with kofta and my other half opted for the wrap with the beef shawarma. Both were delectable and we would definitely go back again. We tried some of the hot appetizers, all were perfectly cooked and warm. Worst service I have ever received. Placed a pick up order an hour in advance. They did not start it until I got there. Then I was told they were too busy and and 80$ order wasn't a priority when busy (they had 2 customers). THEN after screwing up one of the bowls the manager told me I was wrong and made a mistake that they ONLY make what's on the receipt before looking at it and realizing he was wrong. As someone who orders takeout often, any place I can walk into and leave with food within a few minutes is already starting off on a good note. I order a chicken shawarma bowl with rice and greens. I added an assortment of toppings like hummus, tzatziki, and pickles! The food definitely looked promising but I thought much of it lacked much flavor. The chicken shawarma was on the drier side. Pretty let down but very nice workers - an extra star for that- as that sure can't be easy waiting on the Darien types I encountered while in there~ I discovered Naya back in the city when there was only one location over 14 years ago. It was delicious back then. I know they have opened other locations over the years and unfortunately when this happens, the quality seems to slip. The vermicelli rice used to be delicious -- this one tasted like mush. The chicken was too dry. I went at opening time - 11:20 but the chicken and rice tasted not so fresh. The tomatoes - given it's winter- were not red at all or even ripened. On the bright side, still a delicious hummus! read more

This restaurant was hopping! I got the beef kibbe and a Naya roll on wheat with beef shawarma and tahini sauce. The food was fine if a little dry and the portion sizes were conservative. The service was fast and efficient despite the crowd. The space is gorgeous. There is local art on display and a promotion for children. I was completely blown away by the freshness of all the ingredients and the overall taste of everything. This place is tucked away in the Darien commons with ample parking. Service is fantastic and there is plenty of inside dining. My only problem is that it's about an hour drive from my home. If it were closer I'd probably be there once a week! read more

I used to go to their NYC branches all the time when I worked in the city. I always loved their fresh wraps, particularly the whipped garlic sauce. Needless to say, now that I work from home in Westchester, I was thrilled to learn that a branch opened up in Western Connecticut. In terms of service and ambiance, this place is a very typical NYC lunch place, where you name the kind of meal you want (bowl, wrap, salad), your protein, and you get to add all the sauces and toppings you like. I made the mistake on my most recent visit of overloading my wrap so that it was quite messy and heavy when I brought it home. Next time, I will add fewer toppings, but the garlic whip sauce will definitely still be there! This particular branch is located in a brand new shopping center near Stamford and somewhat removed from Darien proper. I would recommend Naya to anyone in the area. read more

My qualm is with the portions: my container was literally a quarter full, literally 50%.of the bottom of the container was showing. You're basically fast food, don't be skimpy. I wish they didnt use canola oil/ seed oils. For a restaurant striving to be a healthy Mediterranean option, they should cook their foods in EVOO. No true Mediterranean food would be cooked with canola oil. Please Naya!!! Fix this!! Get rid of the canola/ toxic "vegetable" oil and use EVOO instead.
