It was quite busy when we arrived on a late Sunday a.m. in January. Tables were filled and there was a line for ordering. We decided on a tomato cheddar soup and the Churn it Up sandwich with Havarti and provolone. We were told the wait would be 40 mins, giving us the option to wait it out or go elsewhere. We stuck it out and the food was at our table in less than 20 mins. The sandwiches were ooey gooey toasted cheesiness and paired perfectly with the creamy tomato soup. It came with a lighty dressed arugula salad. I had a freshly brewed ice tea and my dining partner got a Dr. Brown's soda. The breakfast rush was soon over but people were still coming in to eat and grab take out while we enjoyed our meals. They also offer beers and wines and hot chocolate. The entire place was very clean, including the restrooms, although I did not see any table wiping going on. Staff were smiling and polite. Plenty of parking in lot shared with other business.

From the moment you walk in, you're treated like a regular even if it's your first time. The staff was super friendly, and I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. It was made on a Brioche roll with a fried egg. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the egg or the sandwich overall. It was okay, probably a three-star kind of thing. Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.

This is such a better option. The place looked trendy inside. There was self serve coffee and many different types of bagels, I even seen a jalapeño one. The worker was super cool. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a roll with pepper jack cheese and a side of hash browns. It was ready quick. I also grabbed a drink and a carrot cake dessert. My sandwich tasted fresh, my hashbrowns were nice and hot. My carrot cake was soft and moist, I wasn't a fan of the sugar frosting, thought it be more cream cheese like. I wouldn't get that again. Next time Waze makes me cross over, I'd definitely stop here again.

When I opened it and took a bite, it was clearly stale. I politely brought it to the attention of a young staff member, who insisted it was fresh and actually told me I was the only customer who had ever complained about it. That response alone was disappointing, but what made it worse was asking to speak with the owner -- who refused to come speak with me directly. As a returning customer, that level of dismissiveness was genuinely disrespectful. I understand off days happen, but how you handle a concern says everything about your business. I hope management takes customer feedback more seriously in the future.

They have a fun burger selection, ranging from a classic bacon, lettuce, and tomato burger to the KC Burger, which I ordered. Mine came piled with an onion ring, jalapeño peppers, cheddar cheese, and Sweet Baby Ray's sauce on a toasted seeded roll. All burgers come with a small side of coleslaw, pickle chips, and your choice of fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings, which is a nice touch. The person I was with ordered the Chino Burger, loaded with bacon, fried onions, and plenty of fresh blue cheese. The food came out hot and tasty, and the burgers were definitely thick and filling. My only real complaint was that the burger could have used a little more seasoning, and I think it would have gone up another notch if it had been flame-broiled instead of seared. Overall, this is not a fancy place, but it is a solid spot for a quality meal. If you are in the area or just passing through, I would recommend checking it out.
