this place was nice! it's a small resturant and parking is pretty limited. the food was great! and our servers were very helpful when we requested for extra sauces. we ordered a chicken and cheese wrap, which contained buffalo sauce. it's not pictured, however, it is very heavy on the buffalo sauce! all of the food was great! they used the chili on the nachos which we did not mind! it was a pretty big serving for what we expected since it was under "little plates". the burger was slightly overcooked. we requested medium well but instead received well done. no complaints i would definitely come here again! read more

I've been coming here for two years and the quality has clearly declined. The Reuben is consistently disappointing--no rye bread, swapped sauerkraut for coleslaw, and they often forget the Russian dressing entirely. Other menu items have gone downhill too where ingredients are substituted with substitutes that aren't valid substitutes. Anyone else noticing this? This place used be a favorite of mine. Came for a bday party PARKING - they are in a little strip mall on route 7 in Wilton. A good amount of spots in the back if the front is full ENTRANCE - the main entrance is actually on the side of the building. We were greeted by a hostess who finally got us to the party table. But seemed very disengaging MENU - kind of a limited pub and grub list. Mostly burgers and sandwiches. There was a beer menu with many choices. Very eclectic with many options in a few categories. I'm not a beer expert but you'd like it if you were. APPETIZERS - the table tried the spring rolls which were very good. The nachos on the other hand were pretty bad. Chips over baked. The toppings were oily and also over heated in the oven. Entrees - the burgers were decent but nothing to write home about. Side orders of fries were quite good. Not greasy and crisp. Someone tried the fish and chips which were good but looked over cooked to me. SERVICE - our waiter was very nice but was dealing with many tables. After ordering it was a while b4 we saw him again. AMBIANCE - it really does look a little like an English pub. The kicker was the London red phone booth outside - a nice touch. DESSERT - it was a birthday so we had our own cake. TAKE HOME - I found it strange that you had to bag your own left overs. PRICE - pretty average for pub and grub fare. Most entrees were in the $16 range with $2 extra for gluten-free buns if you need. The appetizers were also in the $15 range so maybe a tad high but not a show stopper OVERALL - I find it an OK place but that's about it. Not sure why folks rate it higher. read more

We had a wonderful lunch here! I started with a delicious chicken tortilla soup that I loved! It was thick, rich and spicy, flavorful spice not hot spice. Just perfect! We also got a giant pretzel with cheese dipping sauces that was crunchy yet soft on the inside. Yum! For entrées, I ordered the southwestern chicken salad and my friends got A cheeseburger salad, and A ranch crunch wrap. my southwestern salad was really delicious with avocado and crunchy tortilla strips. The cheeseburger salad was tasty with a perfectly cooked burger on top and a nice thousand island dressing. The wrap was overstuffed and really tasty with crunchy chicken, tater tots and avocado. We came after a recommendation from a local hotel we were staying at. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic! I had the buffalo chicken (burrito), even though I'd call it more of a wrap. I've been craving a good buffalo chicken wrap and it was fantastic. I wish I took another to go actually. We also enjoyed the burger trio. It was PACKED for lunch on a Friday afternoon and that's telling you something. The acoustics aren't great, I felt bad that I had to ask the waiter to repeat himself a few times since I couldn't hear him but he was great. Saw this as we passed and had to stop. First impression: nice expensive beer menu but almost all bottled - oh boy oh boy. At least the house amber is a nice brew but it's not cheap. Not the best start: my friend ordered cheesecake and it came out WAY WAY before everyone's lunch. Umm, you realize you can hold that until the hot food is ready? "Don't worry your food will be right out" ... 10 minutes later, still nothing... Once the food all finally came out, it's delicious and filling. You get a lot for your money, and that includes plenty of meat and toppings. 3 cheers for not skimping. Very tasty buffalo mac. Great decor. Great T-shirts. It struck me that other than service timing being way off, including having to flag down random staff for refills and the check, this place is great. 5 stars ambiance. No deduction for food. Had fried chicken and waffles. Deep fried chicken was fine but waffles hard as rock. I suspect they were pre-made and warmed up. My wife had a Hail Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Chicken was over -cooked and lettuce was chopped into 1/8" squares( like food for a rabbit.) My friend had the veggie burger that literally fell apart in the bun. While the food is tasty and we visit frequently, our friends were in town and they had an unpleasant experience. The waitress was so rude to them. After being there only an hour she told them they must leave since there is a "waiting list". This unprofessional service made them feel they had overstayed their visit. Little Pub has great, casual, sandwiches and burgers. The food is very tasty and very filling. This was my first time here and very glad I came as I've been wanting to go for decades -- yes, decades -- since the original and only Pub's location on Route 7. For decades driving to the Danbury Mall, I'd ride by the original always wondering what was inside. I ordered (I think) a Reuben and Rachel sandwich, a meat eater's delight, a touch salty, and grilled with buttered bread. If you're caveman or cavewoman, this is the sandwich created just for you. It had corned beef, pastrami and I think bacon, coleslaw, cheese and dressing, so tasty. I think if you order any of the sandwiches, they all come grilled with buttered bread which is such a nice touch, way better than eating a sandwich straight. I love these kinds of places because I don't eat this fare all that often due to my own personal health, but this style of food is my favorite thing to eat. The interior is a traditional dark wood and no frills, pub atmosphere. The restaurant was pretty full when we got there and became more full as we were eating. Our waiter was pleasant if overworked. It seems like there were only two servers for the entire restaurant and both seemed a bit overstretched. I'm not a needy restaurant patron, it's just something I noticed. The hostess was friendly and welcoming and we were sat right away. I'm not sure if Little Pub takes reservations but if they don't, try to get there a little early. By the time we left, there was a small but mighty line. You can drive around the restaurant to find parking. The Little Pub is not what it used to be! What used to be warm, convivial, casual adult atmosphere, with good food and drinks, has turned into a crowded (shoe-horned in) loud place, with rushed service and overrun with children. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against children, but large, clamorous tables of 8 with kids under 5 doesn't make for a relaxed mood. Loud "club"/pop music makes conversation difficult and certainly doesn't suit what I'm guessing the Little Pub is going for. The point is that the music should strike a balance between ambiance and entertainment, adding to the experience and without dominating the room. The music + children dominate. This is just to say, the food isn't worth it. Very Meh. Small portions of cold fries & a luke warm burger. I doubt we will go back. Sadly, as we've enjoyed this restaurant a few times a year since its inception, but it's turned into a different kind of place that doesn't suit us anymore. read more

Typical bar food. I had the vegetarian burger, no cheese, w/GF bun and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. While I will say the GF bun was probably one of the better ones I've had while eating at a pub type place, the vegetarian burger was a big moosh, like if everything had gone thru a processor and nothing left for me to chew on; it was tasteful but I'd like to have something a little more solid to act as a burger. My husband did say his pulled burger was very good. As for the service, our waitress was ok. At first she ignored us a bit when we arrived and left us unattended but afterwards she kept coming back to check on us frequently. Hands down, my favorite pub in CT. Why? To break it up and not be too long winded: - Service - consistently great @ all of the Little Pubs and especially the one I frequent in Wilton. The servers are present (meaning they aren't dialing in their interaction with the guests) and they are attentive. It makes a huge difference in the meal and drinks. Very solid staff and team conssitently. - Food - this is what I like about the Little Pub. It IS pub food. However they step it up a notch or two consistently. Fresh vegetables and ingredients, unique offerings such as the Moo Shoo pork tacos (fantastic by the way) and a very old school, British pub atmosphere. My favorite on the last visit was the Clam Chowder crock and the Moo Shoo tacos. I've had the burgers and they are consistently excellent. They also have some unique beers. I've never walked away from the Little Pub disappointed or hungry. My family loves going there and I tend to oblige them, even when it is busy. While not inexpensive, the excellent food and service definitely merits the price and I've never left without at least leaving a 20% tip. My only disappointment? I wish it was a little closer. Losing the Little Pub in Ridgefield, CT was a big loss (not in any way due to the Little Pubs management by the way). However we do drive the extra miles as the experience and food far outweighs any travel negative. It is a pub so it can be a little noisy inside. Don't let any of that stop you from going though. It is one of Connecticut's culinary gems and is a fun place that brings a slice of a solid British pub to New England. French Onion Soup ($8) - This was the one BIG miss of the evening. Though the melted cheese on top never disappoints, this soup tasted like a salt lick, with only mild undertones of onion. Get your seasoning in check! Entrees: Fish Tacos ($16) - Crispy fish, in large portions made these tacos a real bang for their buck. I've been driving past this Pub for now almost 12 years and never noticed it, and here comes the lockdown - Covid-19, and suddenly I get a craving for burgers as have not stopped outside the house for last 48 hours. Quick search on Yelp, and the Little pub pops up. I decided to order the Six napkins burgers, the one that comes with Gouda cheese. The order and pickup time was very effective, considering i ordered at 7:49 and they closed at 8pm. Burger was excellent, pretty large and juicy and the fries were very fresh as well. The helping overall was enough to have me stuffed with almost a quarter remaining for the next day. I hope this lock down ends soon, however whether it does or not, I would be visiting this place very soon. read more

Really great spot for pub style and American food. Been coming here for years and the food is always solid. The menu is pretty big and almost everyone can find something they want. The place has a nice lodge type atmosphere. Way better parking than the Cos cob location. Their delivery is good too although I wish they would stop piling super hot tater tots or fries on my sandwich - by the time it arrives the bread is a soggy mess. Cmon! read more

This was pretty run-of-the-mill fancier bar food. The servers were friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer is one of the more tastier things I've had in a while. Unfortunately, we had to get the sauce on the side because we were sharing with non-spicy eaters. Had the cauliflower been tossed in the buffalo sauce, this dish would've probably been over the top. The eggplant fries were fried well and they were tasty, but I didn't like the marinara dipping sauce. A little more innovation with that dipping sauce would've made all the difference in the world. The Ahi tuna salad with fried goat cheese looked delicious, however, I couldn't eat it and I had to send it back and trade for a chicken Caesar salad. Unfortunately, the description didn't say sesame crusted and I couldn't eat sesame then. The chicken, Caesar salad wasn't bad, but nothing special. I didn't try the burgers that the others ordered, so I can't really comment on those. However, they seemed happy with their burgers and fries. Little Pub might be the most overrated restaurant in Wilton. The food is pretty decent, but the service is mediocre and the ambience is kind of trash. I do not like this restaurant and think it is extremely overrated. Most of the time, when I go to a restaurant, I care more about the food, but as I said earlier, Little Pub has good food. It is more the ambience, which I usually ignore, that bothers me. Also, the food takes a long time to come out. If you don't care about how long the food takes and just want some decent food, you can go here. I normally would not recommend this, however. read more
