Morden classy restaurant for group dinner. Food is very good and price is also reasonable. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I ordered grilled octopus and seafood black squid ink pasta. Both very good. Especially pasta was cooked al dente and very fresh Two downside. 1. Crazy noisy and if you want a relaxed cozy dinner with good conversation, this is not a place. We need to scream when talk and i could not hear 30% of my friend's story. 2. Service was not very fast. We waited 25 min -30 min or more from appetizers and had to ask where our pastas were. Overall not bad.

charged $2.00 per drink for olives for a MARTINI

The food was fine, good, I've been several times before but will not go back. Two of my daughters and I went to dinner last night and we all ordered a martini. The martinis were $15, which is absolutely fine. BUT they charged me an extra $2.00 per drink for olives. I would have happily paid $17 for the drinks instead of $15, but the fact that they charged me an extra $2.00 for olives was just tacky and unacceptable. I won't be back. The restaurant was basically empty, I can only assume that they are hurting for business if they have to upcharge for olives in a martini. Tarry Lodge was my family's favorite restaurant in Westport. I wanted to love Zucca but it's just not very good. Our waiter was nice, but there is an older waiter there who was rude to me when I walked in. Just really bad experience for food that is fine at best. Won't be back.

Cheesecake & Cookie skillet

My friend & I had a really great 1st experience here for dinner. We got a couple cocktails, shared the mozzarella sticks & an order of the Chicken Milanese. She got the cookie skillet & I had the cheesecake for dessert. The service, ambiance, food & drinks were all outstanding. I will definitely be back, as there are many things on the menu that i'd love to try. I do agree with other yelpers who mentioned that there is something for everyone here.

My friend and I came here and we ordered calamari that was ok had better but we ordered lobster Benedict thst was amazing but the price said 19.95 but the bill said 29.95. I will go back

If the after of my pasta didn't show you how good this place was I don't know what will lol! Food was delicious, did not wait long for it to arrive. Flavor spot on. Service was great, constantly (but not annoyingly) checking in on us. Restaurant is elegant

Came for a friend's birthday. Restaurant and parking lot are fairly small, but there was street parking close by. Our booth was cozy and perfect for our party. The cocktails were fun and the waiter used a bubble wand for the drinks, which was a nice touch. The arancini was tasty and a good appetizer. Rigatoni vodka was decent. Prices were fair and staff were friendly and attentive.

Zucca is a great newer Italian place in Westport. My friends and I came here on Wednesday night where they have the prefixed menu for $29, and it was great. I had a very fun drink that was served with a bubble on top. For my appetizer I had the arrancini, which was so savory. My main dish was the vodka rigatoni and it was just as good. The pasta was very fresh and the sauce was perfect. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside, and a place I would very much love to visit again.

Talk about last minute birthday decisions! So last year on my birthday I had a friend order…read moretakeout and we had it at their house. This year for my 35th, I was on my own for dinner this time around. That being said, I think I found a winner here to celebrate my 35th birthday. Say hello to Lazy Sister, located in the heart of South Norwalk where the restaurant scene comes alive! Because I was a single coming in, I was seated right away, no reservation needed. They were even kind enough to place my bag in the atrium so that I wouldn't have it in the way. I was seated at a table set for two, but it's a good thing I guess that I came on my own. First thing I notice upon coming in is that it is a very classy restaurant, not your typical dim sum joint. It's also not a big space, but that's fine by me. Honestly, this would make a great date night spot for anyone going out on a date. Funny enough, I was actually suggested this place by my friend the night I went to Jacob's Pickles. For reasons I am about to get to, I am glad I decided not to come here until a later date. So why would I say that? Well, because tonight, my order consisted of two Junmai Genshu "Little Sumo" sakes as well as the Salt & Pepper Calamari, a medium level Dry Fry Style Szechuan Chicken, and then the Fortune Cookie Soft Serve for dessert. Not only did I pay more here, but I also got more inebriated here than I did at Jacob's Pickles. But it's my birthday, so tonight it's not in my contract to care. You only live once, and I am already in like the middle of my life, so it all evens out, right? Speaking of the food, everything I ate was immaculate! The calamari was seasoned perfectly, vegetables were cooked and crisp, the spice from that Szechuan didn't overpower. It was more like a pleasant tingle, especially when mixed with water or sake. Everything was done just right. And that soft serve cooled me down in just the right way. Delicious and well worth finishing off the night! And while there were other drinks that definitely looked good, I couldn't say no to sake. That's like THE ultimate celebratory drink far as I'm concerned, and it was awesome! If you were wondering about the service, these people are quite friendly. They help you through anything you might need. While I waited a while to tell them, I did eventually tell my waitress it was birthday while I was on dessert. Cool enough, we are both Tauri! I love it when I get to talk to another Taurus! :) The bill was also why I am glad I waited for another occasion to come here. Because I decided to splurge, the affair was about $100 once tip was factored in. It was well worth it, and tonight's outing will definitely make for a fun story to tell. But 34 was a hard year. I deserve to let loose every now and then, and hopefully 35 will be a happier age. All in all, a great restaurant and well worth the money to come here.

We started off with the chili oil dumplings which were super flavorful! For entrees we got the Mongolian beef and the shrimp fried rice. Fried rice was my favorite -- didn't need any soy sauce or duck sauce bc it had enough flavor on its own. For drinks I got the lychee drink which was on the sweeter side for my personal taste. Overall, loved my experience and can't wait to go back to try more menu items.

Hands down one of my fav. Kawa Ni in Westport. I recently went there for late lunch. Its the kind…read moreof atmosphere that feels trendy without trying too hard. Ive been there for dinner time as well, it's lively, loud in a good way, and immediately feels like somewhere you could stay for hours. I ordered the miso ramen, and it was honestly one of the most satisfying bowls of ramen I've had in Connecticut. The broth was the star of the dish its deep, rich, savory, and layered with that perfect balance of umami and subtle sweetness from the miso and a bit nitty form the sesame seeds. The noodles had the perfect texture: chewy, springy, and able to hold onto the broth beautifully. Nothing was overcooked or mushy . What impressed me most was how balanced the ramen was. Some ramen spots go overboard with salt or spice, but this bowl felt refined. Rich but not greasy. Flavorful but not overpowering. You could tell there was actual technique behind it. The portion size was also generous enough to leave completely full without feeling uncomfortable afterward. The service matched the food perfectly and so freaking sweet. I have trying to rec this all my coworkers

The decor is a lovely authentic izakaya with the wood paneling and everything. It's a beautiful homage to Japanese culture. Ok now menu. Lunch there is great but recommend going for the dinner menu over anything to have more options! The addictive cabbage is just as it says, addicting. It's acidic, savory and has the perfect crunch to it. The crab Rangoons are sooo good. They give you plenty of sauce and you can tell it's the good crab. The cold sesame noodles are perfect! A little bit of heat, a bunch of flavor. I'm drooling just thinking about it! The chili dumplings were good but a little too spicy for me! We also really enjoyed the kimchi carbonara and personally, I'm a sucker for udon noodles! And now the star of the show for me and something I've ordered three times now! The crab fried rice! The crab is so tender and buttery, like it actually melts in your mouth. And the pork belly chunks in it, also tender and delicious. I like dream of this dish every week! And the great thing is you can order the half size during dinner so you can try other things too! This spot is in my top 5 for 2026 so far! Please go try them asap!
