This is a lovely spot especially if you're in the Westport area! The food is great and it's a big menu too!I had white wine with Caccio e Pepe which was excellent the pasta was homemade and fresh! The service was a lil slow but very kind and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu! The one knock I have on this place is the price. It's a lot. However I had a good time and the food was good!

This place just never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious. It's been a while since we have been here and it is just as good as when we dined the last time. This time we had the grilled calamari which was served over a red sauce, liked the calamari but not so much of a fan of the red sauce. For my entree I had the double cut pork chop and it was simply delicious. Cooked perfectly with roasted garlic and hot peppers served with broccoli. I definitely enjoyed this meal. I ordered a side of broccoli rabe which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Chicken Scarpariello. She loved it, it has a nice bite to it and the portion size was ridiculous. For dessert we had the flan; no joke this was the best flan I have had outside of my girlfriend's. Her flan is to die for but this flan was really good! Love this place and will definitely not take so long to revisit.

The food and service is excellent! A slight hiccup with my order, but the server corrected it within 10 minutes and comped a round of drinks!! If your looking for an Italian restaurant with that small little Italy ambience, head over and you won't be disappointed.

The chicken Parmesan is so good, probably the best I've ever had. My husband absolutely loves the food here and raved about his veal chop.

Had a great lunch at Zucca Gastrobar in Westport…read more We started with bread, then moved on to the crab cakes appetizer, made with jumbo lump crab and served over a jalapeño aioli with mixed greens. Fresh, light, and just the right amount of kick. The eggplant rollatini, filled with ricotta, mozzarella, parmigiano, spinach, and pomodoro sauce, was super comforting and packed with flavor. For mains, the homemade lasagna really delivered. House-made pasta layered with rich bolognese and creamy béchamel, topped with parmesan and fontina. It was hearty without feeling too heavy. Portions were generous, the food was consistently excellent, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Two spots were taken away to enable outdoor seating ENTRANCE - it is early so the bar tender quickly greeted us and took us to a table. Actually we are the only ones here. MENU - lots of categories and definitely gastro pub geared but other than the appetizers it's 100% an Italian offering The layout of the menu is like a restaurant ECCO in Trumbull. SERVICE - we came early so we got the pleasure of the bartender and the waitress serving us. Must have to do with the splits on tips LOL BATHROOM - very nice and very clean. There are two in the back that are both unisex, just so u know MUSIC - have to add a note here. The sound system features some older but popular songs but the spin is an unknown to me artist that makes her own spin on the songs. Pretty good but I'm no expert APPETIZERS - I tried the crab cakes as a comparison to other places. Their plate used lump crab with very light breading that was Great! I've had better sauces with crab cakes but the small greens that came with it were the bomb to say the least ENTREES - my wife had the gluten free pizza with the short rib toppings. Although a little overcooked it was very good. I had the chicken scarpillio that was excellent. What I enjoyed was that for the red hot peppers they infused the heat in the sauce with very few small shavings of red pepper for texture. The chicken was different as well with a crispy skin coating as opposed to cooked in the sauce. Mikey liked it! DESERT - didn't engulfed so let me know what u think LOL PRICE - if there is a rub this is it. For two people with a couple of drinks the damage was $134 and with a decent tip $162.

Nothing bad to say. Service excellent, Food impeccable. I decided not to have my goto, chicken marsala. My wife got the trout almondine. Perfectly cooked, melted in your mouth. And let us not forget the potatoes. Both of us couldn't stop taking about the potatoes. We sat down promptly at 5:30 and it was already packed. Almost every table was full. I'm not sure whether they were short staffed but service was only ok. Our server seemed to disappear for a long time. They took our drink orders and appetizers, which took a while to come out, probably half an hour. They were solid - the meatballs were soft and flavorful, the calamari was good. You could probably skip the baked clams - they were a bit chewy and gritty. The charcuterie board or whatever it's called was fine too. When we finally put our dinner orders in, we were already about an hour into sitting down. I had the "pollo rustico," which was pretty much just chicken scarpariello, which I love. It was very good here too, with big portions. Spicy, the chicken was a bit weird - seemed to be a few pieces instead of a breast. But cooked well. My wife had the eggplant, which was excellent. The food was good, it just took forever. By the time we left, we had been there two hours for apps and entrees. I like taking my time at restaurants, but it just felt like too long, especially with a kid.

Staff is very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Rizzutos is one of the few places (3 in my area) around Connecticut that does igloos for the winter and then canopy tents in the summer! This is great if you're looking for that added privacy and special touch to your dining experience. The inside is also lovely as you'll be able to dine by a wonderful fireplace that definitely feels amazing during these cold northeast winters. One recent addition that I think is amazing and what brought me in this last time is their seasonal four-course menus! For like $30 you get a four course meal! Such a great price for the experience. The portions are samplings so not TOO large portions but with the amount of courses you will get comfortably full.
