What an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend you make reservations because the inside dining room is very small and you May have a long wait if you don't make a reservation. For starters we had the fig and prosciutto appetizers. It was so good, highly recommend. For our entrees i had the veal chop served with mixed veggies. I absolutely loved my dish, the chop was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the chicken scarpariello served with polenta. Our meals were so good, we totally loved our experience. I love that the desserts are all on the same plate so you get to see them all before you choose. Drinks/ bottles of wine are VERY reasonable. A bottle of whispering angel for $40 yes please! The space feels dated, our table was very wobbly, the bathroom is in the dining room, if I was sitting at that table, where you almost bumped into another diner when opening the door I wouldn't have been happy. We each had an entree, they were good, but I feel lacking some flavor. Tbh e owner told me the vodka ravioli with shrimp is her favorite, and I liked the ravioli, the shrimp were chewy. Husband and I went for lunch. It's a little place near the highway. The charm is all there. There really isn't a view of the water, at least not that I'm aware of. The food makes up for it though. What a sweet spot. We had the fried calamari; it was perfect, best I've had in a long time. I also had the pasta with asparagus. It was delicious. Husband had pasta LaNonna. Husband said it was an 8 1/2 out of ten. It was a rigatoni dish. The waiter was a family member and he was a sweetheart. Tutti's is an amazing gem of an Italian restaurant. Located off exit 17 on I95, on Riverside Ave, in front of the Black Duck. The restaurant has a very warm and cozy feel. In the summer there is outside seating. Maria the owner was so friendly. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and the food was fantastic! I had the Risotto Pescatore, in white sauce, it was like a taste of heaven. The sauce was delicious which brought out the tasty of the risotto. My husband and best friend had the linguini clams & mussels in a clam sauce and the pasta was incredible; made on-site, it was the freshest pasta I can remember having in CT! And my best friend had the lobster ravioli in vodka sauce, I cannot recall a better, lighter vodka sauce! This was a surprise for my husband and Maria closed the curtains so that when we walked by he couldn't see our friends seated waiting for us. The atmosphere is wonderful. We felt relaxed and at home. I cannot praise this place enough. It is a wonderful place for any special occasion, or just for a delicious night out for Italian food. Old time family-run Italian restaurant and a Saugatuck institution for decades. Food is great! Service is excellent, owner is engaged with the diners, and the ambiance is fun. One negative for us however, as first time visitors was that we were seated at a small table next to the front door. Every time someone entered or exited (frequent traffic), the door slammed so loudly and actually shook our table every time! I was tempted to ask the owner-hostess to reseat us, but the restaurant was full so we put up with it, as annoying and distributive it was for our dining experience. A surprise favorite was the Amalfi Salad - a bruschetta with a cucumber instead of bread as the base, refreshing and surprisingly filling. It's our new go to lunch idea! The fried mozzarella is nothing like what you'll get at a dive bar, delicious cheese with a golden crust. Tutti's is the perfect place for a cozy date night or to catch up with a good friend. Its decor is centered around on old-work charm, and its main focus is the quality of the food and service. I loved my chicken piccata and had my side of penne with marinara to taste their delicious sauce as well (I asked for extra sauce, based on personal preference). Portion sizes for everything were quite large, and the food quality was evident. Parking here can be challenging since it shares the lot with the train station. Your GPS might throw you a bit off, and if you are like me (directionally-challenged), you might miss the parking lot on your first attempt. Right now, during the winter of COVID, the dining room seemed slow, but take out orders were non-stop. read more

Finally made it to Tutti's, we have passed by so many times and heard it was delish. We walked in on a Wednesday after work, with our stroller, 4 year old daughter and 1 year son. Sat inside for the AC and had a wonderful dining experience. My wife ordered the gluten-free Quattro Stagioni pizza, the kids had a meatball each, I had the Chilean sea bass mare-chiaro, aka in a marinara tomato sauce over grilled vegetables. Two refreshing glasses of Gavi white wine. The subtle Italian music playing in the background was a nice touch. We'll be back, Grazie! read more
