a margarita in a glass on a table
    Emily D.

Came here for a pre-Valentines day meal. This is a lovely little restaurant in downtown Wilton and about a 10-minute drive from the main street in Norwalk. I love sitting at bars, and I was shocked to realize they didn't have one at Aranci 67. Not a problem, a table right in front was perfect. They maybe have about 10 - 14 tables in total. Take note, if it's cold out, try to sit more towards the back since you will be right by the door in the front. The decor is charming, and it's a very intimate setting. Service was solid despite being busy, assuming the extra guests might have been due to the upcoming holiday. I loved my meal of chicken, roasted red peppers, in a lite cream sauce. Everything was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and experience here. I only wish I could return and sip another delightful martini.

Had to update as the best keeps getting better. In addition to still incredible food and caring authentic service the family has imported new tables made for centuries by world renowned artisans in Deruta, Italy. Now you quite literally feast on beautiful hand painted works of art. Fine dinning does not get any better than this.

There were 5 of us including two older adults, two middle age adults and one 11 year old. We were immediately impressed with the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. Sleek design, good layout, very nice. Immediately greeted by a server and an assistant to take drink orders, and identify their excellent lunch menu which you can choose a starter and entree for $25. Highlights included the Ceasar Salad and shaved Brussels Sprouts, as well as the Pear Salad and Branzino. Ironically, the two Pasta options, especially the CacioPepe were the only disappointing choices. All in all, a very pleasant experience, with a handful of standout dishes worth checking out. My uncle had the chicken Marsala which looked good but he said it was too salty. I probably would have loved it that dish bc I felt like mine needed salt. Hub had chicken parm which was average. I had the fettuccine in pink sauce with cantalini beans and lobster and it was ok bc it tasted a bit fishy. I was contemplating getting the bronzino and should have got that instead. My aunt had shrimp over capellini but it was swimming in the sauce. The artichoke salad was very good and my aunt enjoyed the pear salad. Overall it was pretty good and the portions were pretty big. I'd go back and get the salads and try the chicken Marsala or bronzino next time.

"A birthday dinner that actually felt like one."…read more Sienna Ristorante gets the balance right in a way most places don't. The space immediately stands out with a clean, modern feel that still feels warm, not staged or overly polished. It sets the tone before the food even hits the table. The meal itself followed through. The complimentary bread with oil was simple but done right, soft with a good crust and a clean, flavorful dip. We shared the wild mushroom arancini, and that was the first real standout. Crispy on the outside, rich on the inside, and the sauce was the kind you keep going back to without thinking. It carried the dish. For mains, I went with the wild mushroom pizza, which came out with a well balanced crust and just enough weight from the toppings without feeling heavy. The mushrooms were the focus and they delivered. The honeynut squash ravioli leaned more delicate, slightly sweet, and felt more composed than expected in a good way. Drinks held their own too. The Old Fashioned was clean and steady, while the lychee martini added something lighter and more refreshing to the table. They close the meal with biscotti and limoncello, which already would have been enough, but we added the tiramisu and that was the right call. It rounded everything out without feeling excessive, just a clean finish to a well paced dinner. Service matched the tone of the restaurant, attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt natural from start to finish. This is the kind of place that feels intentional. Not just good food, but a full experience that actually holds together. Easy to come back to, especially for something worth celebrating.

We sat down promptly at 5:30 and it was already packed. Almost every table was full. I'm not sure whether they were short staffed but service was only ok. Our server seemed to disappear for a long time. They took our drink orders and appetizers, which took a while to come out, probably half an hour. They were solid - the meatballs were soft and flavorful, the calamari was good. You could probably skip the baked clams - they were a bit chewy and gritty. The charcuterie board or whatever it's called was fine too. When we finally put our dinner orders in, we were already about an hour into sitting down. I had the "pollo rustico," which was pretty much just chicken scarpariello, which I love. It was very good here too, with big portions. Spicy, the chicken was a bit weird - seemed to be a few pieces instead of a breast. But cooked well. My wife had the eggplant, which was excellent. The food was good, it just took forever. By the time we left, we had been there two hours for apps and entrees. I like taking my time at restaurants, but it just felt like too long, especially with a kid.

Eventually they sat back down after the waiter said something. But they sat ON the table and couldn't sit still. Totally get that they're kids, but at some point management should have said something before we asked.. Anyway, that's not really the restaurants fault. It just made for an unpleasant experience for our party. Our server was friendly and attentive, Our food was good, portions were good: Everything tasted fresh. My only gripe is that it's very loud and I feel like management should ask parents to control kids that are ruining it for others.

We take a look at the menu and my daughters notice a soft-shell crab on the specials - for a mere $39.95 it came on a whole bed of wilted spinach. we order the clam oregata and a seafood risotto for ourselves. The clams and risotto were very good, but the crab was appalling, I wish I took a picture. It was a skimpy crab with literally maybe 2-3 teaspoons of meat in it, no exaggeration. The owners actually came over to ask how everything was, and when we told them about the crab and the fact that there wasn't any meat in it they just said "well, it's a whole crab" and walked away. I was really confused. I don't know whether they overcooked it (likely) or if it was caught too late, either way no apology whatsoever from them. m The shell had the consistency of hard shrimp skin, not something easy to chew like it should have been. One clam app, one risotto and the crab were $125 And I had to make my daughters dinner once I got home. I don't think I will be returning, there are plenty of better restaurants in the area.. what a shame.
