Italian Sundae
Olivia J.

Went to Casa Me for my aunt's birthday a couple weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience. I have to admit, it has to be one of the best restaurants I've gone to in a while. Some of my relatives are kind of tough to impress (just being honest lol), so the fact that we all enjoyed our experience is saying a lot! Our waiter's name was JC. He was very attentive, patient, friendly, and even contributed to our conversations a little bit. My grandma didn't like how small the drinking glasses for water were, so he got her a bigger glass to drink out of! He was great! We sat outside at a big table-- it was pretty out there. They had a heater on just in case we got cold. I got the hummus Di cecci for the appetizer and I wasn't sure how it'd be, but it was phenomenal. The hummus was very flavorful, and had hazelnuts, sun dried tomatoes, and pesto on it. It was served with flatbread. I let others have some, of course, but I ate pretty much most of it. It was SO good. My brother got an appetizer with pear slices and ricotta on bread. He really liked it. Wasn't my kind of thing! We also got some grilled bread with olive oil from Sicily that was very good! For an entree, I got the Mafaldine di Limone. I loved it. Had a really nice lemony flavor with cheese in it and some capers. My brother and dad got the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese -- both of them really enjoyed it. I thought it tasted great too! My aunt and grandma both got the Filetto Di Branzino. They thought it was outstanding, even the way it was presented! My sister-in-law got the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (eggplant parm), which she loved! I totally forgot to take a pic of her dish! None of us had any complaints about our dinner! For dessert, we got 2 orders of the Cannoli Siciliani and an Italian Sundae. Everyone LOVED the sundae, and those that tried the cannolis enjoyed them as well. I love how the cannolis were served with pistachios and had a little bit of a zesty flavor-- wasn't expecting that! Overall, we had a really great experience at Casa Me -- I'm sure we'll be back! Highly recommend checking it out!

Elegant, warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had a reservation for 8 people and were seated right away. Our waiter Kevin, could not have been more attentive and profesional, great personalty, right there when we needed him. Got our drinks in record time. Our appetizers were delicious, I was afraid to spoil my appetite with so many, was not happening!! The Grilled bread with Sicilian Olive Oil is divine!! We started with a delicious Burrata, Hummus, Prosciutto di Parma, Carpaccio di Tunno, and Grilled Artichokes. Broccoli Rapa with Garlic.. Now for the main course; I had the Osso Bucco, falling of the bone on a bed of delicious risotto, Grilled Octopus , Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, short ribs ( special) Swordfish, Bufalotta Pizza, everyone was enjoying their main course. Tiramisu and Italian Sundae for desert. All in all it was a great evening with an amazing dining experience.

Casa Me makes it hard to go to other Italian restaurants especially for fresh Pasta. Appetizers are great as well. Meatballs are the real deal, the mushroom pizza app are delicious but the Fritto misto (calamari and shrimp) is exceptional. Light and crispy fresh seafood perfectly cooked.

Came across last one minute one day for lunch! The food was absolutely amazing! Our bartender gave us some amazing recommendations based on what we were craving. The bread is an absolute must try! All of their pasta is fresh and delicious and leaves you wanting more! The inside is chic and cozy. Can't wait to return and try more of the menu!

Our first visit on a great cool summer night. We sat outside it was great. Our apps were a margarita pizza, a green salad, and a burrata. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our mains - the Cacio e Pepe was very good. Creamy and peppery. The Polipo was great with fresh flavor and charred perfectly. The olive pesto worked well with it. We finished with there sundae which was also great. Our server was very nice and kept everything moving at a great pace.

My fiancé took Care for my birthday dinner and it was well worth it. The atmosphere the service was amazing. Wait time was not bad. Make sure you make reservations. The food was excellent. Extremely fresh had flavor and it was truly truly amazing. Very small inside, but it made the feeling and atmosphere intimate. Our waiter was extremely attentive and extremely helpful but definitely recommend this place 10 out of 10.

Quaint and cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown Westport. Beautiful bar in the center of the space, with a bistro feel from the tables surrounding it. Service was friendly and attentive. Great menu options for both drinks and food. The prosciutto tasted really fresh, and the bread was great. The pasta also tasted homemade and had great flavor. The pasta dishes were a bit small, but left me full. A good spot to check out!

Food rivals that of top high end Italian restaurants in Manhattan. Over the top flavorful- the lemon pasta, margarita pizza, truffle fries were all yummy. Came with two young kids in high chairs and Catherine Z was very kind to them. Justin saw my son had scrapped his knee and gave him a bandaid. You just don't expect that kind of observational skills and service at a restaurant. Would definitely stop by again when in Westport!!!

Had a great unexpected lunch here today. We were going to eat at our favorite spot, The Spotted Horse, but decided to walk around and see if we could find another place to switch things up. We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant, sitting at a weird angle on the property adjacent to several high end home stores. I had spaghetti with a marinara sauce and Buratta, that was so well prepared and perfectly cooked I'd say it was the best plate of pasta I've had in a decade. It was al dente, and had a deep flavor that the sauce just couldn't cover up. The creaminess of the Buratta and light topping of cheese made this dish a new favorite. My husband had mussels and fries that were to die for. They needed nothing. The fire toasted bread and rosemary sprig, added a slight flavor, accompanied by a delicious olive dipping oil. It was a light lunch, reasonably priced with an upscale modern vibe. I suggest you make reservations or you might not get seated. We stopped in right at noon, and they had a few tables, but they quickly filled up. By the time we left at 12:45 the restaurant was full. We will be back to have cocktails as they are known for their inventive mixology and specialize in Negronis of all types! Service was excellent, our host, and servers were friendly helpful and really have a passion for the food and how things are made.

There was street parking when we got there but they also have valet and some self parking in the back. As we walked in, the ladies at the host stand were so warm and inviting. They were also the cutest ever. They encouraged us to sit out on the patio versus the bar so we headed upstairs. Our waitress came over with menus and it went downhill from there. She was so inattentive that we had to ask the other waiter for things we needed. He was engaging, checked on us and we even chatted about his Jordanian heritage and my trip there back in December. Our actual waitress, however, checked on the table next to us 6 times (yes I counted) in between her checking on us. Even when I ordered a mocktail, I guess they didn't have the one I wanted so she brought me an entirely different drink without asking me. Then got upset when I didn't want it. The absolute audacity. As far as the food, we got the crab cake, lamb, whipped mashed potatoes and the bread. The food was good but the bread took it to another level. It should have been complimentary though but that's neither here nor there. Overall, loved the experience but wish we had another waitress. She didn't even acknowledge my friend's birthday. Sigh.

Other than that, I'd definitely dine here again!

On the other side of the dinning room is a full bar that has a nice vibe to it as well. There is a big patio (this is where we sat) and tables on the closed off street. Great outdoor space. As for the food, it was alright. I had the Ahi Tuna Bowl. Flavor wise it was pretty good. The tuna was good and fresh and the avocado was perfectly ripe. It came with so much (almost too much) shaved carrot and radish on the top. I felt like I had to eat through all of that to even get to the tuna, rice, and avocado. The sushi rice that is on the bottom of the bowl was very soggy and almost mushy. Servers were nice. Had to ask for the check after a long wait once our food plates were cleared from the table, maybe 20 minutes.

The décor is elegant, and the beautifully lit bottle display behind the bar really stands out. We sat in the main dining room and could easily hold a conversation. We started with the grilled polpo and ahi tuna tartare -- both excellent. I ordered the T-bone medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The table also had filet mignon, mezzi rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp, and pappardelle bolognese. Sides of Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic-honey glaze and baked spinach au gratin complemented everything nicely. The chocolate soufflé was a sweet finish. Portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. Bathrooms were very clean, though the entryway floor was a bit slippery. Overall, I'd absolutely return and recommend it for a special night out.

They are an extremely busy location so I understand the hustle. I was happy to see they brought back the traditional table-side ordering after a period of having customers place orders exclusively through their phones.
