I can't even give 1 star because I would not eat it. Supposed to be a rack and a half. 6 ribs and 6 bones with no meat. It looks like they have me someone's unfinished meal they wanted wrapped to go. When I called to complain the manager hung up on me. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to eat here. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE read more

Was very disappointed in the service I received last night. When I walked in was waiting a while to be seated, no one was there to greet us or the party behind us. Then someone who was sitting at the bar came to give us menus and said to sit anywhere. We finally sat and a waitress named Gabby came took our orders. I ordered a Steak salad no mushrooms sweet potato fries and the person I was with got a hot oil pizza. Pretty easy. Well waitress brought out the pizza and I waited and waited and waited, no salad no fries. I asked the waitress where my salad was she said she was going to check on it, never happened she then went to tables and started to take orders. I was getting frustrated and my friends pizza was now cold as she was waiting for me. After waiting for about 10 mins I went to the bar and explained to the bartender and she went to check and came out with my food. Not once did the waitress come to check on us. My salad was suppose to have tomatoes which it did not. I flagged down the waitress and asked her and she said she would bring some right out once again I waited and waited by that time my friends pizza was soggy and she said it didn't even taste that great. As I waiting I was eating the sweet potato fries and ate some of the salad but it was literally just lettuce, onion, Gorgonzola and steak, I wanted those tomatoes. I asked her yet again and she said she would get them then attended to other tables so I just started to eat my salad. I was finished had my salad plate empty at the end of the table then FINALLY a gentleman brought out a plate of tomatoes I told him I didn't need them and I finished my food and he replied "she just told me" I told him I asked her for them 20 minutes ago. Very disappointed I did speak to the bartender and leave some feedback not sure if it made its way to whoever but I appreciate her helping read more

Recently, I visited Vinny's for an outing with my mother, and we decided to enjoy some beers and wings. My mother is a fan of Guinness beer. We placed our order for beers, wings, and a pizza.. The experience was delightful; the wings were not only well-sauced but also flavorful. The pizza, although on the thinner side, was rich in taste and contributed to our enjoyable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for wings and beer! read more

The experience today was absolutely terrible. I asked the waitress if there was any form of meat in their penne alla vodka. I was told no. The food came and there was chicken. I sent it back and the staff told me that they prepared a new meal. They literally tried to pick the chicken out and give it back to me. I took a bite and noticed there was still chicken. I was also skeptical because the food came back too fast, that was my first red flag. I have been a vegetarian for 7+ years. This was a very bad experience. The manager did try to offer me a 3rd plate. I denied. There is no way I would be able to trust the kitchen again read more

I had a wonderful experience here! We dined on the restaurant side, which was very busy at the time, yet the service was excellent. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and helped us with everything we needed. She was extremely personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. The food was amazing...I had a burger, while my husband and daughter enjoyed the nachos and buffalo wings. For dessert, we tried the delicious cookie slice at Sarah's recommendation. We look forward to coming back! read more

Stopped in Saturday night and had a pretty disappointing experience. The bar wasn't busy at all, but the bartender acted like serving us was a huge inconvenience. No greeting, barely made eye contact, and was short and rude the whole time. It wasn't crowded, so there was no excuse for the attitude. Not expecting five-star service, but basic courtesy would've been nice. Won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

Vinny's is my favorite bar in Springdale. Perfect spot to grab a drink and watch the game. The wings are consistently delicious I highly recommend the general tso. The service is always phenomenal, friendly & professional, never have to wait for a drink even when the bar is packed Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Vinny's is a solid sports bar with a local crowd and honestly some of the best bar food I've had in a while. Went for the first time a Friday night - wasn't too hungry so I just got french onion soup and garlic parm fries. Soup was great and cheese was perfectly melty and broiled and the fries are thin and crispy. Hubs got a large order of wings ~15 and they were crispy, well sauced and only downside is they were a bit on the small side but still tasty. Went back again on Sunday - tried the Oktoberfest sampler platter: was pleasantly surprised by the delicious wursts (2 types), sauerkraut, & well done crispy potato pancakes that came with apple sauce and sour cream. Also tried the hot oil pizza - similar to Rikos & Colony - thin and crispy and actually a nice spice level and I love the stingers (hot pepper). The only thing that is always a little awk is waiting to be seated - if you're not going to the bar, there's a few minutes when you're standing in the doorway just waiting for anybody who works there to tell you if you can seat yourself or you should wait for somebody. Otherwise, Hubs and I are so glad to have found Vinny's. Will definitely continue to be in our rotation. read more

I have been coming here on and off for 10 years. Best place in Stamford for Sunday football. Great atmosphere and food. Attentive staff. A must try sports bar in the area. read more

Vinny's is a local bar with a full menu. The bar is a bit of a dive with cast of characters and the decor in the dining room is full of tchotchkes and tired, but sometimes that's all we need. I've gone to Vinny's for 15 years and keep returning because the food is consistently good. I've had their burgers, wings, pizza, chicken tenders. The pizza is a bar pie and is great. The wings are on the smaller side but are always crispy and flavorful. The Guinness always hits just right. read more

Vinny's Backyard Restaurant - Small order of "Vinny's Famous" wings. Nice and crispy. - Sports Bars Near Me - Stamford, Connecticut

Vinny's? You had one of the best burgers in town but now after 2 more times ordering it I am very disappointed! Tastes and looks like a thawed out frozen burger you would buy in the freezer section of the grocery store. Never again. At least the fries are still good! read more

Went in and ordered take out, wings, and a bacon cheeseburger. We stayed and waited for the food, which took a little longer than it should have, considering the small number of people. The order came out, and assuming it was correct, we headed home. I live less than half a mile from their location. When we opened the order, the burger was room temperature at best, and the wings were incorrect. We called and explained our disappointment with our experience, only to be told the order was correct and basically enjoy our evening. We used to enjoy going there but that is over. read more

We have always gone to Vinny's the food is decent. The manager is extremely bias or racist. my husband and I sat at the bar for almost 3 hours, had appetizer, a meal and dessert and he refused to give my husband more than 4 drinks and said that it's their policy. the bartender had already made the drink. When we arrived at the bar there was a man with his 7 year old child at the bar how is that allowed ? they have lost a customer of many years, we will just go to Amore or This old place. read more

I ordered boneless wings and the waitress didn't speak English and served me bone in wings when I asked for boneless wings. My party said that I ordered correctly and she just didn't speak English. I will never be there again due to their service. On top of everything, the wait time for my food when she messed it up took longer than expected, my whole party was finished eating and then my other meal came out. They banned me for speaking my opinion on how I was treated. read more

Best wings in Stamford. Great service and perfect dive bar vibe. Definitely a hidden gem

Great food and service however they charge for every soda and seltzer. Which is why we will not be going back. With a family of 4 usually 8 drinks per meal at 2 bucks a pop adds up. And knowing the cost of a fountain soda is Pennies really is a deal breaker. Hey Bonnie stop charging per soda. Duh read more

A neighborhood sports bar/eatery that serves standard American bar menu items (Sandwiches, burgers, pizza, wings, etc.). Wings are on the smaller side but sauces are flavorful and selection will appeal to most. The pizza crust is super thin (almost wafer like). Other menu offerings are fine but nothing too notable. Fair prices and good selection of beers on tap. Their bottle selection is quite generic though. Bar employees are quite pleasant and attentive. Food is average but establishment delivers on price and hospitality. It's a comfortable place but definitely male dominated (bar scene). read more

The bar is where it's at for the older dudes. Seemed like a sausage fest for middle aged men and the occasional tag along wife. The drinks are good though. The food is standard, and the tacos aren't that special. The salad pizza was good, and I hear great things about their wings (which smelled fantastic) although I've never had them. It shares a parking lot since it's in a strip mall, so you can always find a space, you just might have to walk a bit when it's crowded. read more

Decided to give this place a try since it was recommended to me for the thin pizza. Definitely has a local feel, which I liked. The wings were on the smaller side but flavorful. Decided to try the French dip and the penne alla vodka pizza. Pizza was decent, French dip was amazing! Only negatives are the service is super slow and that they charge for refills for every soda, idk seems kind of cheap to me. Other drinks I can understand but soda....not to mention we had to ask so many different servers for refills on drinks, our waitress hardly came back yet they were able to keep track of soda refills. I would go back but hope that next time we have a better experience in terms of service. read more

Their wings and Burgers are my favorites. Service is usually very good. It's one of favorite places to eat and meet up with friends.

Worst service ever. I came in with my friends and sat at the bar. The bartender saw us sit down and walk away all mad. It wasn't even late like they weren't closing it was the afternoon. After like 10 minutes of waiting another bartender came and said sorry she is having a bad day. And gave us the worst service ever. Clearly they didn't want us there for some reason and it was very strange. read more

Was in a great mood after an amazing Mets game, so was looking for a "sports bar" to swing through on the way home. Sadly, Bobby V's is closed on Sundays! What a buzzkill. This may have been the douchey-est place I've ever been to. I'd rather go to Applebee's (and I have an irrational distain for Applebee's.) read more

Went to Vinny's tonight. On my previous visit, great service, great wings, great drinks. Tonight though, different server. Got there fairly early. Ordered 1 drink. Forty minutes later, asked for check. Server had never "checked" to see if we wanted anything else - even though she was repeatedly waiting on other patrons around the bar. When I asked her why she had not come back to us, immediately said she was busy and I was being rude. Repeated I was being rude twice. I did not leave a gratuity. read more

Farewell, Vinnies. We won't be coming back. We've gone there over the years however your recent price gouging is highly distasteful. 11.00 for 4 dried out overcooked chicken tenders, 6 bucks for a small cup of cole slaw, and 18 for a french dip. A couple of sodas (which you don't refill for free as per your snotty waitstaff with attitude when we asked) and we spent 52.00 bucks (with tip) for a disappointing nothing. See ya! Time to find another neighborhood place or cook this at home, and i know at this bad experience, we can do much better ourselves. No reason to do this at Vinnies. read more

I was charged $15 for a take out order of 5 chicken tenders and received No fries or sauces. When ordering pizza to go they are not half as good as they are when in sitting down. If you ask for something that changes the order slightly (ie. "well done") they do not fulfill the request. I do like what this place has to offer as I've been going there for years but the inconsistency is maddening. read more

I went here couple of times and it was very good but I went back again on Sunday night with my girlfriend and my friends and I really had a good time, the stuff and food was on point and what made me write this review is the manager and the bartender being very kind and friendly they stopped many times by the table asking if everything was okay and if we were having a good time!!! Thank you!! We will be back again. read more

The wife pulled this spot up from the road and we decided to give it a try. Stopped here for a bite to eat on the way to Cape Cod. When you think of the name you expect the restaurant to be on the side of the road in somebody's backyard. Boy were we suprised to find it in a strip mall of a shopping center. It was a dive bar that was very dark inside. We ordered a plate of wings and 2 hamburgers, along with 2 beers. The service was very quick and the wings were delicious. The burgers were nothing special. We did get great service around noon on a Saturday and the price was good for what we ordered. I recommend the wings as they bring the right amount of flavor and heat. read more

The one and only reason I have been here then (or in the future) was bcz of the pizza. It's good. Its thin. It's good. The bar has a following of local blue collar guys watching sports .....but family's eat on the restaurant side. Private parking. read more

We visited for the first time at the recommendation of a friend and bartender. We were told " best wings in Stamford ", and friendly neighborhood bar. Sadly, this was far from the case. The staff basically ignored us but we took a chance and ordered their signature Buffalo wings. They were very small, very lightly sauced and just barely a snack. I also tried their Sauvignon Blanc and the hubby a draft beer. Well, I'm not sure if the wine was bad, old or what but it was NOT good. It took three different requests to get two waters w lemon and when the pretty blonde bartender finally gave it, no lemon. After our food arrived, we had to again ask for silverware and tobasco even though we ordered and asked for it initially. She didn't check on us until we we're almost finished and the bar/restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, I can't recommend based on the disappointing wings and wine and of course the even worse service. I still tipped 20%, because we were once in the food industry and hoped it was simply an off day. Really disappointed. read more
