    margaritas

Had chips & guac, beef fajitas, and a variety of tacos -- all were delicious! The margaritas and tequila shot were a great touch. Service was friendly, and the place was quiet and very clean. Overall, really good food and a nice experience.

Second time I've been here. I wanted fish tacos and they were good, not great. The amount of fish was smaller than I'd have preferred. There was a lot of guac, tomato's and lettuce which overpowered the food.

Sweet Pepper Steak Quesadilla (includes chips and sauces)

Craving California tacos but visiting family in the area, found Taco Tequila on DoorDash and ordered on a whim. Oh what a delicious whim it was. The Sweet Pepper Steak Quesadilla had a decent amount of steak and fillings. The steak was slightly sweet and spicy, a good blend and nicely grilled. The portion was enough to split for leftovers. Carne Asada Taco was packed and worth the cost, but for me it was the Beef Birria that stole the show. Perfectly seasoned and the right amount of sauce. Certainly a bit messy, as you'd expect with Birria, but it made my taste buds dance in the best of ways. My only regret is I only ordered once during my visit, and I've been daydreaming on and off of the Birria. Until the next trip home!

Chips and guacamole were good. A bit under seasoned and no salt available.

Solid 3.5 stars. It's a bar with some tables as well as having a pickup/take out window. The chips are fresh and guac was good but needed salt, lime, and cilantro. The street corn was good, not the best I've ever had but still good. The fish taco was tasty. I enjoyed the slaw and it was a small slice of fried fish that was well seasoned. Absolutely nothing wrong, but it wasn't incredible either.

Had the carnitas nachos and quesadilla, the nachos were loaded awesome, quesadilla delicious. Fajitas had a lot of flavor, best fajitas I've had compared to other places great service , tasty margaritas. Also got the chorizo and potato taco, great! Pastor and sweet pepper steak also really tasty. Definitely recommend. Drove past it for years and I was missing out . Great vibes and staff!

My brother ordered these Beef Birria tacos online all the way from Cali for me after a long day. (best bro ever Ik ik lol) Also this was one of the only places that was open late night in CT and this place did not disappoint me. This taco was the wrap up that I needed that night. I loved how juicy and warm it was when it arrived at my door step. The Birria had some meat in it as well and they gave some limes and extra onions and cilantro on the side. I would order again for sure!!!

You know, I have been looking for a great place to get a burrito. Typically they are just rice and beans, and tend to be underwhelming. But at Taco Tequila, I was surprised. I went for lunch, and our waiter, also likely the owner, did a great job of explaning some of the menu and with some questions we had. I went with some wings (buffalo) and the burrito (against my better judgement). The wings were great. They were hot and cooked well, and flavored well. They may not have been the BEST wings I have had, but you wouldn't expect that at a place that specializes in tacos. The burrito was excellent, pastor with pineapple. It was large, with cheese, rice, beans, pico. The lunch special came with tortilla chips, and they laid out 4 sauces including sour cream on the table. The ranch option, green and red salsas were a nice addition to make the burrito even more amazing. It was a great burrito, and hit the spot. It was a nice option to have so close by, and I look forward to paying them another visit!

Came late on a Tuesday night for Taco Tuesday- Very lively atmosphere and fun restaurant. Cantina style restaurant/bar with a DJ playing music that night who added to the vibe. The staff was helpful and quick to serve. The food was delicious with all you can eat tacos for $25. Definitely plan on coming back as it's walking distance to my home.

Very highly recommended!!!! I have been here on a Tuesday evening for tacos. They have an all you can eat tacos and a margarita for 25$ pp. That is a sweat deal for sure!! They have great ambience and food. I'd definitely go back another time.

Super cute hole in the wall my coworkers and myself got take out from here. The nachos were the best out of the order. They had refried beans, guacamole, cheese, chicken, pico, and cilantro. The tacos were all good, we tried pork, fish, shrimp and beef. The fave taco was fish nice and crispy and airy. The salad bowl was super small and the meat was ice cold which made it hard to Eat. Parking is bad as it's on a Main Street but you can park On side street by Dairy Queen (don't park in Dairy Queen lot you will be towed) They do take credit card

This place is always reliable if you're looking to grab food quickly. It's always 10 minutes and the food is ready. At least that's been my experience. Birria ramen and tacos were A+ super delicious. The people working there are friendly and the inside looks nice.

Never tried this place until it was recommended to me twice within one weekend! The recommendations were much appreciated. Seems like there's more of a takeout part in one storefront and then a separate eat in restaurant right next door which is what I tried. Staff was extremely and friendly. Our waiter shared information about a taco Tuesday deal that they offer which I will be back for. I had the passion fruit margarita and my boyfriend had the strawberry margarita. Took some time to get, but both were great! Chicken fajitas are very flavorful and great portion. I do wish the meal came with more tortillas. The chicken/peppers ratio did not match the 4 mini tortillas. My boyfriend had the chicken burrito. Again, delicious! Both meals came out warm at best which was unfortunate, but we still cleaned our plates! Check this place out!

Got food poisoning from this place! Never going back again. Make sure they make your food fresh or you will get sick like I did.

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and really informative. They're happy to walk you through the menu and make recommendations based on what you like. It's also surprisingly vegetarian- and vegan-friendly, they offer vegan meats so you can swap them into a lot of the classic dishes, which is rare for a taqueria. The food is outstanding. Even the free chips and salsa they start you with are memorable: the chips are fresh and super crunchy, and the salsa has real depth of flavor, not just heat. The entrées are some of the best value around, the burritos are massive (one could easily feed two or three people), and for takeout, the quesadillas literally come in a pizza box, which tells you everything you need to know about portion size. Their appetizers, queso, and house-made hot sauce are all excellent and full of flavor, not just spice. Most times I've been, the service has been fast, even when they're busy. The interior is clean, colorful, and decorated with authentic touches, so it feels fun and relaxed whether you're dining in or just grabbing takeout. If you're searching for great Mexican food in Norwalk, big portions, vegetarian/vegan options, and friendly service, Rincon Taqueria is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend.

Here's something I…read moredidn't expect to find in CT - a good old-fashioned authentic-as-they-come Mexican bodega, complete with a tacqueria in the back where you can get some of the best tacos you'll find this side of Mexico City! So, it's like your usual Bodega - You order in the back (in Spanish. Otherwise they get flustered, and then go find someone who speaks English. Then again "dos Tacos al pastor" ), and pay in the front when you're all done. In between, you get wait for your tacos (or sopas, or plates, or whatever), and once you get them, load them up w/ whatever you need (lime and salsa for sure!) from the salsa bar, and then demolish the lot in a couple of quick bites! Do note, the orange salsa at the salsa bar is DOOM. Be warned. Then again, the radishes and limes help recover from DOOM. Anyhow, experiment if you can. The lengua and tripa are off the charts, as is, well, everything else. Do note though, the cuaritos and carnitas are pretty fried, so you'll need a lot of lime/radish/salsa to get it to the right place The bottom line though is that this place is legit. I've been looking for it since I left Chicago, and now I've found it - have fun!!!

When I entered, I was greeted warmly and ordered the Birria, Al Pastor, and Chorizo tacos. It took about fifteen minutes for my order to be ready. When I opened it, I was pleased to see the tacos were generously filled with meat and toppings. As I took my first bites of the Al Pastor and Chorizo tacos, I noticed the meat was a bit overcooked, almost burnt. Despite that, the tacos still had a lot of flavor, though the overcooking affected the texture. The Birria taco was decent but a little dry. The customer service was very friendly and attentive, which I truly appreciated. I might give their tacos another try in the future. For now, I'll rate my experience as 3 stars.
