    Bierria quesadillas

One thing I will give the place credit for is that the bartenders were really nice, but when I came to the food it just was not worth it and it's super overpriced. I spent $21 + $3 for the avocados on the side (which they didn't even give me) for bierria quesadillas. They don't even cut them into slices. It didn't even look like a quesadilla I had to cut them myself. Another thing was the nonalcoholic beer was seven dollars, and it didn't even taste good. Where are we Los Angeles? This was all a complete steal.

Cute space with nice ambiance lighting. Quickly seated by friendly, efficient staff. Just had a quick app for supper. The shrimp ceviche bowl. Nice lime snap then spicy. I could handle it and I'm a baby. Def recommend.

Stopped in on Sunday @ 5pm and we were told the Happy Hour is every day until 6pm (at the bar). We sat at the bar and got tacos/tacodillas and margaritas. The bartenders were friendly and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were okay with food/drinks. The classic margarita was strong and delicious. I got the al pastor tacos. The tacos were so flavorful, big portion compared to other taco places ive been to. I definitely want to come back and try more on the menu!

Our first visit to Taco Guy did not disappoint! First off, I should say that the service is stellar. We had the pleasure of being served by the Taco Guy himself, who was so friendly and welcoming. We started with the frozen margarita, which was delicious with a kick. For our app, we enjoyed the Queso Fundito, which was great (the tortillas taste so fresh). For dinner, we had the chicken quesadillas and the fish tacos...great flavor and proportions. Definitely adding Taco Guy to my list of Norwalk favorites!

Don't let the silly name, or the picture of the taco truck fool you into thinking this is some dive taco truck or shop. In fact, this is what Mexican fine/fun dining should be. And don't get discouraged by the paper take-out menus either... (come on guys, you can step this up). The restaurant is warm and cozy inside with a great vibe. The staff are friendly, happy and attentive. The drinks are crafted with care and the food... forget it. I'm so glad I told my wife I was not going to stay home with her and eat take-out Bar Taco.... I left her... for this, and it was worth every moment. The Flautas De Papa Queso where quite surprising & unexpected from the ones I've had elsewhere. Amazing, I'll just leave it at that. The Suadero Taco ... not your Mom's Ortega to say the least. Short rib love is ready for you. The Sope, shrimp me more please. Thank goodness for boxes because I am definitely eating this tomorrow for lunch. This thing was absolutely scrumptious. It took all my willpower to stop eating so as not to make myself ill from overconsumption. The Pork Al Pastor Tlayuda... damn it, I don't have room to order it... but I can tell you this, the person next to me had it who'd never been here, he only stopped eating because he was clearly full, 90% gone and the rest went home. I mean, who can possible resist a coal-fired pizza oven concoction such as this? This is def my new go to for MX in this area. As far as just how awesome it is, the food alone is worth driving a good distance, the people who work hear are however the icing on the cake. Next time you want MX, and you aren't looking for the Americanized crap, do yourself a favor and come here. If you are disappointed, you are clearly a chain food lover... go back to Applebees... or Bar Taco.

My end pork belly taco and chicken wings. Apparently they sat in the kitchen and were not hot when served!!

Look, I'm going to give them 4 stars for the food! The portions are small and frankly overpriced in my opinion! The tacos are served with one simple tortilla, and did not appreciate serving my beer in glass, prefer bottle and glass. Will pour myself! The choices of beers were terrible, just Mexican mediocre beers. Perhaps for the youth, but on the high end for all mixed drinks.

Great service, phenomenal drinks, very creative. The sauce on the guacamole was amazing. Inside was cute too, nice to have indoor outdoor space.

Food and drinks are authentic. My older son said it was "the best taco"! Staff is great.

Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Beautiful bar, great beverage program, and attentive bartenders. Food looked and smelled amazing, will try on my next visit. I ordered the "carajillo", an alternative to the espresso martini.

They have a little outside patio and the windows open from inside so you can sit outside and still hear the music

We had to ask for a bigger table and was led towards the end. Very interesting menu, we had the pu'er tea, which is not very commonly offered in the Chinese restaurants in the area. Love the teapot presentation and overall the branding effort. We tried to order the soup dumpling but was told something wasn't working properly and it's going to take over an hour so next time. Got wontons in chili oil, love the flavor. The mushu pork, a little bit too sweet for me. And the beef chow fun, just can't go wrong with that, and the szichuan pot with cumin lamp. I think this more authentic Chinese but my husband felt the lamb was too oily. I requested to get the little cute cat cup for my daughter's lemonade order and they said yes, so it was a very cute touch. Very happy with the visit definitely a lot of potential we will be back.

Overall, loved my experience and can't wait to go back to try more menu items.

My friend works nearby, so she met up with me for some tapas and drinks during happy hour, since my keys were next door. I wasn't hungry, so I just sampled everything she ordered. She had fried calamari which was beautifully presented, the hanger steak with green chimichurri, Eggplant Tablao (fresh mozzarella, fried eggplant, and warm tomato ragu), and the warm goat cheese with marinara sauce and pesto crostini. (Portion was super small) oh yeah, we also had the paellera consisting of chorizo, chicken, pork, clams, mussels, shrimp. The bread with olive oil was a nice simple touch as well. For drinks, we had a margarita and a Manhattan. The Manhattan was amazing...the fresh orange zest really elevated the drink and infused it with a bright citrus aroma right away. Definitely recommend trying it! We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Luis. You can tell he truly takes pride in his craft and creating an experience for his guests. Popular menu items include birria tacos, octopus, shrimp ceviche, and steak chimichurri. My daughter and I visited here for her birthday, and we both love Latin cuisine. As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats immediately. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant felt cold inside as well. The staff tried to warm things up with space heaters, but they didn't quite do the trick. We ordered empanadas, birria tacos, hanger steak, and sweet plantains with crema and queso fresco. When the dishes arrived, they were lukewarm--a bit disappointing, considering how cold it was outside. The birria tacos were delicious, though again, they could have been hotter. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, but I would have liked it a bit crisper. The hanger steak was tender, and the Pico de Gallo was bursting with flavor, pairing perfectly with the steak. It was nicely seasoned and had a good-sized portion. The empanadas were tasty, with flavorful and plentiful meat. The plantains were extremely delicious. The crema and queso fresco helped bring the whole dish together beautifully. The customer service was friendly, but the food could have been hotter; still, the flavors and seasonings were spot-on.
