Chorizo Quesadilla and Chips

Love this place. The food is amazing, you start off with freshly made tortillas and a green and red salsa. I ordered a chorizo quesadilla and loved it. The drinks are awesome, I got a spicy tequila drink, which was made with Don Julio and was spicy, amazing! Tres Leches cake was incredible. Service was attentive and responsive, they make sure you have a good experience. Great place for a night of good food, good drink in a casual atmosphere.

Wow!! We dined here tonight and had a great experience. It's no surprise Tequila Revolucion is recommended on yelp, by foodie content creators, and local word of mouth. Their complimentary chips and salsa (red and green tomatillo) were fantastic. They have an array of margaritas on their drink menu. I loved their special: enchiladas con pollo y mole, served with rice and beans and finely chopped fresh pico de Gallo. WOW. They have a waiter who is from a small town outside of Oaxaca. His mother and other ladies make the Mole paste for Mercado Benito Juarez, which is the main market. Tequila Revolucion gets the paste delivered via courier. Totally authentic, warm, velvety, rich and chocolatey sauce. Unreal We also enjoyed the veggie quesadillas. Their menu also includes fajitas, burritos, elote (corn), soups, churros and tres leches Great dinner spot for families and friends. Super friendly and knowledgeable employees!

I always drove past Tequila Revolucion when going down the Post Road and wondered how it was, so we finally stopped in and were not disappointed! The food came to the table so quickly that we were in and out in under an hour without feeling rushed, which is always super important to me! The food was all so delicious, and I really enjoyed the street corn wings which I thought was so unique. My fiancé said the margarita was fantastic, and we were very happy with our meal here. The heated patio was so cozy and warm even on a chilly night!

What a fun and inviting indoor/outdoor restaurant! They have a few tables inside, a heated covered bar and patio seating and well as complete outdoor seating available during the summer. The staff was extremely energetic, attentive and kind throughout the entire meal even though it was busy for Valentine's Day. The margaritas were perfectly balanced and flavored. Chips and two different salsas came complimentary and right away which was awesome. We ordered a steak quesadilla and steak and chicken fajitas for meal dish. The steak was very tender and well seasoned. The chicken was moist and flavorful with jerk spices. I would definitely come back!

Definitely a great spot in Fairfield to come check out their happy hour! We were there with a bigger group and so got plenty of bites so share so we could try a little bit of everything. My favorite items out of what we tried were the Tacos de Pollo Adobado, Camarones Mojo de Ajo, and that tres leches cake which was absolutely out of this world good! For drinks we opted for Canción margaritas. The service was super friendly and he'd great suggestions on their favorites to order. I also learned that they are dog friendly so bring your pooches!

The margs here were so insanely strong and good , highly recommend. In terms of the food, I ordered the chicken fajitas and really enjoyed them along with the nachos we got to start. Our service was a bit slow when we went but assuming it is because it was a Friday night and pretty crowded.

Local favorite! The drinks are strong and make sure you have a DD lol. Best steak and tacos! Met up with friends and had a great time over drinks and amazing food. Service was lovely and attentive. We sat outside and even with the post road traffic we ourselves a time. So good, you won't be disappointed!

Had a good experience when we stopped by for dinner tonight! They have covered, heating outdoor seating and we were able to be seated immediately as there were a lot of tables open. I got a skinny margarita and guacamole for apps. For my entree, I ordered the Camarones Mojo - everything tasted delicious and came out promptly. Portion sizes were good too. For dessert, we ordered churros - one order with a chocolate drizzle and one with just sugar - also tasted amazing and wasn't too sweet. Service was okay, but the food was really good and would love to come back!

Burritos chicken & pork

First time here and really enjoyed the food. Both the chicken and the pork burritos were juicy. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was tasty. Guac was pricey but worth it honestly. I'd come back again.

Overall, underwhelming. Margaritas ok, I had much better tasting ones. Chips and salsa 3/5, branzino was a bit over cooked and rice was under salted and not flavorful, shrimp part of the entree was really good. Salad was fresh. Casual ambiance, efficient service.

House salad with steak

Just had an awesome dinner at Tequila Revolución! The staff was super attentive and friendly, the drinks were delicious (and strong), and the food was amazing. I had the house salad with steak (steak was cooked perfectly and the portion was very generous), the elote (the corn was perfectly roasted), and a steak and shrimp quesadilla. Great, laidback atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Had a lovely time on Wednesday evening. Nick was our server, and he was excited and knowledgeable about the specials for the evening, which they change daily. The corn soup special was absolutely fantastic, and the BBQ tacos were tasty and exciting. We got to try one shrimp taco special that we didn't order - and I wish I had that as my main!!! The sauce was incredible. I can't wait to go back to try more of their exciting specials. My husband and I had two house margs on the rocks each, and they were strong!! Definitely could have drank a couple more glasses of water, but I was enjoying the margs so much :) I didn't get a pic of inside, but it's adorable. The bar top is covered in beautiful Mexican style tiles, and there is a cool tequila mural on one wall. There is also a large covered, heated outdoor seating area. Inside is fairly small, and I imagine it gets crowded! Can't wait to make TR one of our regular spots.

Not sure if it was because of my locs or my dark skin, immediately upon arrival, the owner was giving us dirty looks. We decided to ignore her and stay there. Big mistake. We then order the monstrous ceviche, canned octopus doused in mustard, and we return it. We express we didn't like it, she says "everything here is made fresh from scratch and organic" we then say we are not questioning the freshness, we just did not like it. She proceeds to say "it's not like you would know what good ceviche is" I WAS SHOCKED. French toast was amazing too, big and moist with fruits on top. Drinks were okay, needed more alcohol in it to me and had way too much ice. Only ordered one to avoid getting a drink I wouldn't enjoy which was $20+. I'd say it's a decent option for brunch as the food was good. Not sold on the drinks though.

The establishment is located at the corner of the street, and parking may be limited due to its placement on a one-way street. Fortunately, I was able to find parking nearby. Since this is in Stamford's downtown area, please be prepared for potential parking challenges. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and asked whether I preferred to dine in or take out. I chose to dine in to experience the ambiance fully. I was informed that I could sit anywhere, and I placed my order: chorizo, Birria, steak, Al Pastor with pineapple, and pork carnitas tacos. My order was served in approximately fifteen minutes. The Chorizo taco was very flavorful and enjoyable, and I agree with my coworker that it was excellent. The Al Pastor taco with pineapple was good, though I found the pineapple flavor could be a bit more pronounced, and I personally would prefer less fat on the meat. The steak taco was tasty but a little dry; the meat was well-cooked and flavorful, but it lacked moisture. The Birria taco was acceptable, with each establishment offering its own unique take; this one used a soft tortilla, whereas I typically enjoy mine with a crunch and served with consommé broth. It was satisfactory but slightly on the dry side. The pork carnitas taco was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, if I return, I would especially recommend the Chorizo tacos, as they stood out to me. The customer service was courteous and attentive, and I appreciate supporting small, family-operated businesses. I would be happy to visit again.

We were then told which I believe should've been the owner or manager we had to move to a different table and he'll give us a free margarita on the house. Our waiter arrived to wipe down the table because the table we were changed to was dirty and we put in a order for drinks and a appetizer and asked if she can come back in 5 minutes to take our main dish order. It took over 20 minutes to get our drink and our waiter quickly rushed away and this was the last interaction we had and got checked up on from this point. Keep in mind we got seated at 8:15 PM and we got our drinks around 8:45. From this point no one came up to us to put in our entree order and me and my date were starving and our waiter was serving others around us but was completely ignoring us and rushing away. Finally after 9:30 PM after more than 1 hour of not receiving our appetizer we put or nor our waiter putting in our main dish I asked for the check for the 2 drinks I ordered and left. Never have I ever gotten up from a restaurant table and left because of bad service and I been here at this spot couple times and even on holidays and never received this treatment. The manager then gave us complimentary appetizer and dessert but at this point I wanted to leave and did not even touch it. I shouldn't have to complain and ask for my check for you guys to finally give what I wanted. On top of that we never got the free drinks we were promised. Thanks agave for messing up my valentines date night, we ended up eating Wendy's 10 piece chicken nuggets and fries that were given to us in 2 minutes.
