Wow!! We dined here tonight and had a great experience. It's no surprise Tequila Revolucion is recommended on yelp, by foodie content creators, and local word of mouth. Their complimentary chips and salsa (red and green tomatillo) were fantastic. They have an array of margaritas on their drink menu. I loved their special: enchiladas con pollo y mole, served with rice and beans and finely chopped fresh pico de Gallo. WOW. They have a waiter who is from a small town outside of Oaxaca. His mother and other ladies make the Mole paste for Mercado Benito Juarez, which is the main market. Tequila Revolucion gets the paste delivered via courier. Totally authentic, warm, velvety, rich and chocolatey sauce. Unreal We also enjoyed the veggie quesadillas. Their menu also includes fajitas, burritos, elote (corn), soups, churros and tres leches Great dinner spot for families and friends. Super friendly and knowledgeable employees!

I always drove past Tequila Revolucion when going down the Post Road and wondered how it was, so we finally stopped in and were not disappointed! The food came to the table so quickly that we were in and out in under an hour without feeling rushed, which is always super important to me! The food was all so delicious, and I really enjoyed the street corn wings which I thought was so unique. My fiancé said the margarita was fantastic, and we were very happy with our meal here. The heated patio was so cozy and warm even on a chilly night!

What a fun and inviting indoor/outdoor restaurant! They have a few tables inside, a heated covered bar and patio seating and well as complete outdoor seating available during the summer. The staff was extremely energetic, attentive and kind throughout the entire meal even though it was busy for Valentine's Day. The margaritas were perfectly balanced and flavored. Chips and two different salsas came complimentary and right away which was awesome. We ordered a steak quesadilla and steak and chicken fajitas for meal dish. The steak was very tender and well seasoned. The chicken was moist and flavorful with jerk spices. I would definitely come back!

Definitely a great spot in Fairfield to come check out their happy hour! We were there with a bigger group and so got plenty of bites so share so we could try a little bit of everything. My favorite items out of what we tried were the Tacos de Pollo Adobado, Camarones Mojo de Ajo, and that tres leches cake which was absolutely out of this world good! For drinks we opted for Canción margaritas. The service was super friendly and he'd great suggestions on their favorites to order. I also learned that they are dog friendly so bring your pooches!

The margs here were so insanely strong and good , highly recommend. In terms of the food, I ordered the chicken fajitas and really enjoyed them along with the nachos we got to start. Our service was a bit slow when we went but assuming it is because it was a Friday night and pretty crowded.

Local favorite! The drinks are strong and make sure you have a DD lol. Best steak and tacos! Met up with friends and had a great time over drinks and amazing food. Service was lovely and attentive. We sat outside and even with the post road traffic we ourselves a time. So good, you won't be disappointed!

Had a good experience when we stopped by for dinner tonight! They have covered, heating outdoor seating and we were able to be seated immediately as there were a lot of tables open. I got a skinny margarita and guacamole for apps. For my entree, I ordered the Camarones Mojo - everything tasted delicious and came out promptly. Portion sizes were good too. For dessert, we ordered churros - one order with a chocolate drizzle and one with just sugar - also tasted amazing and wasn't too sweet. Service was okay, but the food was really good and would love to come back!

First time here and really enjoyed the food. Both the chicken and the pork burritos were juicy. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was tasty. Guac was pricey but worth it honestly. I'd come back again.

Overall, underwhelming. Margaritas ok, I had much better tasting ones. Chips and salsa 3/5, branzino was a bit over cooked and rice was under salted and not flavorful, shrimp part of the entree was really good. Salad was fresh. Casual ambiance, efficient service.

Just had an awesome dinner at Tequila Revolución! The staff was super attentive and friendly, the drinks were delicious (and strong), and the food was amazing. I had the house salad with steak (steak was cooked perfectly and the portion was very generous), the elote (the corn was perfectly roasted), and a steak and shrimp quesadilla. Great, laidback atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Had a lovely time on Wednesday evening. Nick was our server, and he was excited and knowledgeable about the specials for the evening, which they change daily. The corn soup special was absolutely fantastic, and the BBQ tacos were tasty and exciting. We got to try one shrimp taco special that we didn't order - and I wish I had that as my main!!! The sauce was incredible. I can't wait to go back to try more of their exciting specials. My husband and I had two house margs on the rocks each, and they were strong!! Definitely could have drank a couple more glasses of water, but I was enjoying the margs so much :) I didn't get a pic of inside, but it's adorable. The bar top is covered in beautiful Mexican style tiles, and there is a cool tequila mural on one wall. There is also a large covered, heated outdoor seating area. Inside is fairly small, and I imagine it gets crowded! Can't wait to make TR one of our regular spots.

But because it was so cold today, we picked one close to the train station for our lunch for three, and it turned out to be a great choice after our meal at Ryebird. Their website describes Ryebird as "A Neighborhood joint where friends and family meet" and that seems pretty much spot-on. The bar is gorgeous, the dining room is beautifully decorated with red painted walls, dark distressed wood tables, and stainless-steel colored chairs. The service was great, I mean outstanding. Our server Leo was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We had a few conversations with Manager Thomas who was very charming and a real joy to talk with. And I haven't even gotten to the food yet! OK, here we go! Our party of three went with a small Chicken Soup for The Soul with Cheesy Bread ($14) for me. What's Cheesy Bread? Well, how about three toasted pieces of gooey pizza bread topped with a feta spread and olive oil. My brother-in-law went with their Daily Pot Pie ($23 for Chicken today), with a house-made buttery crust, scratch-made filling, and an added $4 up-charge for a gravy boat full of mushroom bourbon gravy. My wife went with a Roaster sandwich ($18) of pulled chicken, cheddar, BBQ sauce, pickled onion, on a baguette served with fries. We also had an order of Lemon Chili Zucchini ($9) for the table. The food was wonderful, as both the pot pie and the sandwich were devoured. My soup was a pretty big bowl for a "Small" but was loaded with more carrots and celery than chicken. I asked our server Leo if they had any hot sauce, and he asked me how hot did I want it? Ryebird has a few different types in increasing levels of hotness. I asked for the max, and he brought out a little ramekin of some of the hottest hot sauce I ever had. It was pretty much at my upper level of tolerance. I chatted about it with the restaurant manager on the way out, and he was pretty sure it was made with Ghost Peppers, so that explained my thermonuclear mouth numbing reaction. Anyway, we loved our visit to Ryebird. Their food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, the quality is high, and the service is exceptional. What more do you want in a Fairfield County lunch?

The menu is some what tied into the Puglia region, which is the heel of the boot. The barn-like building's dining room is dominated by thick wood plank paneling, exposed ceiling beams, and a stone fireplace. Three of us stopped in for lunch today, and we had a very favorable experience. Our server was super friendly and helpful, and answered a few questions we had about the preparation of a sandwich. She even ran back to the kitchen to check with the chef and made sure we had the information we were looking for. Their menu is very broad and covers appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and bowls. Our lunch was a Southwest Salad ($18.95) with Mojito-lime marinated grilled chicken, crispy romaine, Roasted corn, black beans, pico de gallo, queso fresco, avocado & crispy tortillas with ancho chipotle dressing, Chatham Fish N' Chips ($20.95) with Crispy ale battered cod with fries, tartar sauce, house slaw and lemon wedges, and a Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich ($17.95) with Lemon-Pepper grilled chicken breast, roasted red peppers, baby arugula, fresh mozzarella, and pesto aioli served on a toasted Rosemary focaccia. The food was excellent. I had the salad, and the first thing I noticed was there was a LOT of grilled diced chicken on my plate. It was a big portion, certainly enough for two sittings, and I have to say that ancho chipotle dressing was sneaky spicy! I really liked this place.
